I started walking last week (don't faint! :yikes: ) I'll start posting my walking starting this month. Instead of milage, I'm doing minutes.Hope this is ok with everyone.

Ran 6.5 today (Apr. 2) first in light sprinkling, then pouring rain. Finally gave in to the rain. I really wanted to go 8 today. I'm up for 12 tomorrow though.

I walk more on the weekend that I work, because I work in a huge building and walk the halls and stairways on my breaks and lunch. We had a major snow storm on the weekend. It is melting again now. I can't wait to get outside and walk.

Sherry wow I can't believe it. You are walking with us. Minutes is great. I usually count 20 minutes of walking as one mile but you go ahead and mark your minutes.

Shelley wow that is warm. How do you manage to run in that heat? I guess you must go early before it is too hat or later when it cools down.

Janice I am sending manitoba warm weather your way.

Thanks, Dee. I felt like a wimp today. I really wanted to go 15, but could barely make 12.

Shelley twelve miles is fabulous. I don't think that you wimped out. How long did it take you? I bet that it is hot to run. I can't believe that you can do so many miles jogging. The most I use to jog was five miles andnd I thought that was great.

Shelley that is about 6 miles an hour or 1 mile every 10 minutes. I don't think that is to slow. I do a 12 minute mile when I jog or if I am lucky a 10 minute mile. You are usually one fast chick if you think that you were slow that time.

Dee-I am going to be way down on my mileage again this week. I can't run today, and I normally go 12-15 on Sundays. I was at my parents yesterday and I want to get there real early today to get some of this stuff put away.

Shelley you still have 10 days to do 49 miles. That is just 5 miles a day. Make your goal 1oo miles this month since you are so busy, that is still great.
