Default May Day! MayDay!

The official International Labor day is May 1st. Just over 6 weeks away and a great time period for a mini-challenge. Anyone interested? My goal is to lose 10 lbs.

Sure - I'm in. I guess I'll go for 8 lbs, to put me at 154.5 (as of today).

I'll go for 10 too! According to my scale, that would put me around 146. I had the unpleasant experience yesterday of getting weighed at the doctor, and finding out that her scale says I'm SEVEN pounds heavier than my scale says! Of course, they didn't have one of those fancy doctor's office scales, just a digital bathroom scale, so I'm inclined to not trust it so much. It was really depressing to see my weight over 160 again, when I'd finally gotten below it.

Anyway, if I don't plateau again, I should be able to do 10 lbs by May 1, so that's what I'll go for! Time for extra laps at the gym, and no more eating huge meals!

I'm up for a challenge. I'm not focusing on pounds lost though--that's gotten me in too much trouble in the past. My goal is to exercise at least 4 days a week from now (March 21) till May 1. Good luck to you all!

I'm new here, but would love to participate in this challenge. Can somone explain to me how it works? SO lets say I want to TRY to lose 8lbs by May 1st. When that day comes do we all post how much we lost? Or is there another section where we do that?

I'll get the hang of it soon, it's my first day!

Default My first challenge

Hey everyone,
I have decided to participate in this challenge due to the fact that I have let myself slip for the past couple of weeks and I am afraid to get on the scale to see if I have put on pounds for the first time since losing 20 over the past few months. I will go for 5 lbs by May 1st. You guys are great inspiration!!! Let's do this.

Hey everyone doing pretty good on the challenge so far. I dropped two pounds over the week end and put one back on. Hopefully it goes away again by the end of the week and I stay on track. Been doing pretty good with my workouts so hopefully that will start showing up soon!

Ok I'm in for the challenge. Since I didn't quite make my Easter goal I'll set this May Day one for 5 lbs which will bring me to 150. Good luck all!
