Question Soy sauce for Sashimi

Hello,

I am on Phase 1 *1st day of week 2* and I would love to have some sashimi today for my lunch, however ..... 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce would cover..... lets see 2 pieces!

How come Soy Sauce is so restricted?

Salt is the problem. It will make you retain water and can be very discouraging.
I know sashimi is raw fish. Is it served with rice? If so, rice is not allowed on Phase I either. I'd go ahead and have the fish but would be sure the soy sauce was light, i.e., reduced salt, and try not to freak if the scale shows a gain tomorrow.

Thanks Ruthxxx, yes in deed Sashimi is raw Fish but it is not served with rice (that is called Sushi).

I will try to look for a light soy sauce with less salt or something, as Sashimi without Soy Sauce..... Well it kinda does not taste at all the same.
