South Beach Diet - I've missed you guys!

Hello, Everyone! Boy, have I missed being here! I have been so busy at work and with things at home that I have not been able to get on here in ages.

I went to the doctor last week and found that after 3 months on SBD, my cholesterol dropped from 214 to 192! and my other number (can't remember what it is called... triglycerides maybe??) went from 128 to 70!!!! I haven't lost any more weight because I've really not been following the program too closely, but on the bright side, I haven't gained, either!

Today is Day 1 on Phase 1 again for me... really haven't been on program since Christmas...

Ellis: I'm sorry I missed your birthday, Sweetie! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! I hope it was a fabulous one!

Actually, I've just missed everyone! Hope my beach towel is still out on the beach!

Well I think some of the chicks were tryin to rent your space out but I wouldn't let them! (tips for the cabana boy!) lol Glad to see ya back and with a great report at that! Way to go! I'll help ya get all the sand off your towel! shake shake! lol

I had a very bad cholestrol problem and being on the beach helped me lower them tremendously. Its the healthiest diet out there.

Ellis, I'm right behind ya, sweetie! i'm going to be 40 this year in October. My husband says he's going to hang black fabric over the mirrors and decorate a cake all in black, but I said noooooooo way...I want bright pink, orange and yellow and daisies because I can't wait to be 40... now of course i can't figure out if i'm just in denial and trying to convince myself of this or if i'm really looking forward to it... only time will tell! LOL

It feels great to be back on program... i'm sucking down water as we speak :)

Ellis, I know your 40th year will be your very best one yet...and I bet you that you won't be fat by the end of it. :yes: :grouphug: And we both know that the word "fat" doesn't describe all the amazing things that are a more permanent part of you, like your wicked sense of humor! :s:
