Unhappy Getting Back on WW Wagon and Pizza is Being Delivered for Lunch!

I have decided that I need to get back on the WW wagon. I went to the grocery store last weekend and bought all the foods I needed for lunches and dinners.

I made myself a nice low-fat tuna salad, along with fresh veggies, fruit and some low-fat chips. Our office has "movie day" on Thursdays and Fridays at lunch times. So, I'm ready to have my nice light meal, when I find out that someone out of the goodness of her heart has ordered pizzas for everyone for lunch, including no less, the dunking breads and sauces.

I am going to eat my tuna salad, etc., but it is going to be very difficult for me watching everyone else scarfing down the pizza.

ACK!

Just remember, you’re not the only one being tempted by all of that evil food. I had
to attend a luncheon that had lasagna, garlic bread with butter and homemade pastries
yesterday. Meanwhile, I’m sitting there with my lean turkey slices and string cheese.
I’m telling you, I could smell the chocolate in that room. I tried to focus my mind on how long it would actually take me to burn off all of those calories on a treadmill. That did help, a LITTLE.

Hang in there and may the "force be with you"..ha!!

Post It will be hard, but I WILL do it.

You're the type of person I see and say to myself, "Wow, she is eating such healthy food." How does she do it? Thanks for the pep talk.

Of course, my new challenge is on Saturday. DH and I have invited some people over to see our new house, which, of course, includes eating! I do have some low-fat, low-cal recipes for dips and desserts. They will never know the difference.

When faced with food not on my program, I tell myself "That's not for me." That food is for people who can eat it and not gain weight, or who don't care about their weight. I don't fit into either of those categories, so it's not for me -- it's "their" food, not mine.
