Morning All! Hope everyone had a nice night. I'm kind of bumbed. Two nights in a row where dh and I didn't get any time to even sit together. I mean the kids were put to bed about 830 and ya know what he did, he fell asleep with dd and I had to wake him at 915. I was reading Parents Magazine waiting for him to come back and nothing. Oh well, sometimes I feel like we live in a different house it's so crazy! Anyway, that's off the topic..... I am up a pound :( Oh well, don't know how that happened, I did exercise and I ate fine too. I think I drank enough, but I'll have to watch that. I am going to the gym today at 11 for training and I have to do cardio too. What does everyone have planned for today? I am exercising, as I said, and I have to go back to the library, Chiroprator, and make that return of the pillows. Oh, I feel like it's a repeat of Monday. Anyway, I'll bbl after I see some posting. I'll be around this morning for about two more hours. Laundry folding is calling and breakfast making too!

Hey Melissa!!

Sorry about you being up a lb :( Don't you worry, it will go away soon :D Sounds like you've got a busy day planned I hope you get some time to relax. I know how you feel about DH, there are weeks that Zhaun and I only see eachother in passing as I'm coming home from work he is going to work or vice versa it really sucks.

Well nothing planned here except I have to work tonight so I'm going to get my exercise done this morning and make some food to take with me to work. I hope you all have a nice day :D

Good morning all. I managed to be on plan all day yesterday, and the vitamins aren't making me sick anymore. I'm about to get off my butt and start working out, but I just downloaded that FitDay PC thing, and I had to play with it first. It asked for a starting weight so I actually weighted myself (even though I was planning to ignore the scale since I've been so messed up with being sick and then overeating when I felt better.) Well, I'm down 3.5 pounds from where I started last Thursday, and I felt so great about sticking to my diet and exercise plan yesterday that I am determined to do it again today. :)

Chris- I have a website for my jewelry, but I didn't want to post a link because I think that's against the forum rules.

Here's something I've made though to give you an idea:

Roxy- I think trying to get to One-derland together is a great idea! I guess that means it's time to stop typing and go use the bike

02-16-2005, 12:47 PM
Michelle it's only against forum rules to post spam links or links to other weightloss forums. :) you can post any personal site without breaking rules! Beautiful jewelry, my uncle was a jeweler but he passed away some time ago I always loved looking at the things that he made.

Have a nice day!

Michelle, really pretty jewelry, I'd love to take a look at your website!

Well, it was an early day for me today. Went to check out that AFLAC sales position. And it looks like it is going to be great. I thought about it long and hard, and decided to go ahead and put up the money that it is going to take. And I will sell newspaper subscriptions in the meantime. This AFLAC thing will take a couple of months to get licensed and all, so I'll need in come between now and then!

Well, I am off to do never ends. BBL

Good afternoon ladies! How's everyone doing?? Today has been bad eating wise for me so far(I had a couple..okay, 2 handfuls of doritos) I have alot going on so I guess you can say I was eating for comfort. You all will be proud of me though..I put the doritos back in the cabinet where they belong... :). I plan on going to the gym tonight too. It was raining about an hour ago and now it's snowing! I wish the weather would make up it's mind. No wonder everyone I know is sick alot this winter..uugghh!!

Penny~ Good morning!! I put a typo in my bio.. I am actually 28 years old. Where are you today?? Are you staying OP??

Mel~ Are you still at the gym?? How was your workout today?? I hate it when it seems like DH and I are just roommates too. Maybe you could suggest tonight that the 2 of you just relax and watch a movie or something. Life can get so hetic when you have kids but we must remember to slow down and make time for our spouses. Hope tonight is a relaxing night for the 2 of you. BTW, I get paid tomorrow evening, I will send my contribution to you no later than friday.

Chelle~ I love your jewelry! You're a very talented young lady. I would love to take a look at your website too. Congrats on your weight loss..woo hoo!! Keep up the great work. You can do it!!

Tabitha~ I am soo happy you found a job!! That must be a major stress relief. How are you doing with your exercising?? Are you going to do the challenge that's coming up??

Well I better go straighten up before the kids come home.. I'll be back later..

Where is everyone?? Jill I'm still waiting for you to come out from hiding. You, Chris, Michelle, Kristin are my fellow SBD's!! I need some support and motivation and some suggestions. Have a great day everyone!!

Can I join in with you? I just found this site a few weeks ago and love it. I am a married mom of a 3 month old. I need to desperately lose about 50 (+) lbs.

Hi ladies!
Tried to talk to my mom on the computer today and it didn;t work out, bummer! Anyway, just a quick one from me. Dh called in sick last night for his night job he was so beat he couldn't function. We'll see what happens.
Poor guy. Nothing new or exciting here. I did measure my waist and have lost 4 inches since I've started measuring, but the scale isn't moving at all. Argh!Since I've started I've lost 21 3/4 inches all over. I measure in 16 places, including wrists and ankles so that is alot of me to measure and seems like I'v lost so much. I should be losing like in feet! Any way the scale in not moving much but weigh in day in Friday let's see...

Hi Jillybean-glad that school is going so well for you and I hope that you past that one test the first time!!!! Stay OP girlie, even if you can't post frequently.

Fma4mom- everyone is welcome here! I'm Roxy, welcome to our chatty group, we start a new thread everyday so watch for us. All the ladies here are great! We are friends that motivate and are there for each other. Post often so we can get to know you!

Jen- eeek! Doritos! Yipes those things are dangerous! Like a loaded weapon! Glad that you had the willpower to put them away! How are you doing on SBD?

Tabby- sounds like things are happening for you! Good luck on your new positions and I hope all goes well with the insurance sales! How are you doing OP?

Michelle- how are you doing on your gazelle? are you still able to get in all your exercise with the schoolload that you have now? How's the beach going?

Chelle- ohh! are those like coral pieces? Very nice! I hope that you sell alot, and that your business becomes very successfull!! See ya in oneunderland!

Mel- you have to sing that lonesome tune...strangers in the night, exchanging glances, strangers in the night (something, something) romances... don't worry. You have to make up for lost time, with extra snuggling. I think we've all been there! How's the cleanse going? Are you feeling it?

Hi to Penny, Deana , Kristin, Cindi, Geri, Steph, Ricci, Gretchen, and anyone else that I might be missing. I'll be back later to chat but it feels like today has just been a wash and I will not let more time go by with out exercising! BBL

Jeniqua, Problem with dh he is so tired at night that he can't really stay up past 930ish. He gets u p at 445 every morning and leaves the house at 715 and doesn't get home to 6-7. Tabitha, wow, great about Aflac thing. You can do it! You will feel so good to have your own income!

02-16-2005, 05:07 PM
HI there  remember me?? LOL!

Crazy week last week...G-ma was getting bad inthe middle of last week so I was spending all my time with her during the day and mostly working at night. Sad to report that she passed away on Friday at 12:30 PM surrounded by all of her family. It truely was a beautiful moment although we hated to lose her. THe wake was mon night and funeral yesterday. I have been so busy running here and there, I just haven't even turned on my puter :P Things SHOULD slow down now though. MY ankle is feeling lots better, and I am still in this stupid air cast, but I have it off most of the day now and hardly any pain. Sydney is still hanging on to an upper respitory infection, YUK! but she is getting better every day. And today I sorted our dirty clothes to start actually washing EVERYTHING, not just what dha nd I needed to wear to work, etc...adn there were 13 loads ! I sat ont he floor and cried! Then i started in, and this house doesn't look half bad. Even baked a cake for YET ANOTHER 4 year old birthday party tonight.
As far as my weight and dieting. THis last week, I don't know. I am so not motivated. I told dh that I Wanted to not do anthing until after his g-ma passed (this was wednesday and we thought that she had a few weeks left) because I jsut didn't care. Now I care and I just need to start all over. I am so sick of "starting over" though. I suppose I have real committment issues with dieting/changing my eating habits. I have been doing alright, not following any plan, just eating less, and not fast food....but other than that I am feeling pretty hopeless...dh said (which I think is true) :) that I really need to keep current with all you gals because I am more motivated when I have someone to answer too.....he is so right!!!! :) SO that is all you get today! I am going to work a little more around here and get my butt int he shopwer and get ready for this party (I won't be having this cake :) ) and tomorrow morning I am helping to start go through some stuff at g-ma's house. So tomorrow afternoon, I will be back!!!! :) Love you all, I will get caught up on everyone and get personal tomorrow! TTYL

02-16-2005, 05:28 PM
Kristin, I AM SOO sorry to hear about your grandma.... Huggs to you hun! Glad you ankle is much better, but I'm sorry Syd still isn't 100%. I bet she will be any day though. Don't worry about starting over. It's not starting over really, it's just picking up where you left off. We all have to do it. We are here for you every step of the way!

02-16-2005, 06:50 PM

Kristin I am so very sorry to hear about your g-mas passing. But you and your family have given her an extraordinary gift. To be able to stay her in home as long as possible and die with her loving family around her. So many people die in nursing homes (not that they are all bad) they just aren't family.
I am sure you have been such a blessing to her! Things will get better for you now, and you dh hubby is right you need us to keep ya in line, so keep posting! Now's time to take more care of Kristin! We all love ya, and send big hugs to you. God bless!

02-16-2005, 07:15 PM
Kristen, my prayers are with you, I am sorry to hear about your grandmother, but it is wonderful that she had her family there with her.

fma4mom, welcome, I have only been here about a month maybe a little more. This is a great place with some very supportive women.

Chris, don't ya just love tax refunds? Mine is pretty much gone. My H wrecked our friend's car, and we had to pay him for that plus buy one for ourselves, so that was pretty much it for us. Thank goodness the car that was wrecked was an old clunker and only worth about 700, so we didnt' have to pay that much! One of these years, I will file my taxes and not have it already slated to go to one bill or another or several.

As far as being OP. I have been pretty good about food. But giving up the soda has been really tough. I have been under so much pressure lately, that I use that as an excuse not to give it up. I am going to have to get over it, and give up the soda!

I haven't been exercising a lot this week. It sure didn't take long to break that habit. I am going to be working twice as hard to reestablish that habit over the next few weeks.

I do want to join the next challenge. I will have the 10 dollars on Monday. But I don't have paypal. Michelle, is there any way I could just mail it to you, and you could make sure it got to the winner? Anyway, that is about it for me. Got a lot of housework to do. I am in the middle of sorting through junk and getting rid of stuff I don't need anymore.

02-16-2005, 09:05 PM
What's the new challenge about? I think I've overlooked it. I'm so glad I found you ladies, I need all the motivation I can get! :D

02-16-2005, 10:02 PM
Okay ladies...I got a nice nap in with Nicole. Except she fell asleep in my arms so with that dreaded RA, I"m going to be sleeping with my splint on. Her body is too heavy for my arms and it compressed stuff I didn't need compressed.

DH went to a job interview with Sears today. He says it looks really promising. Good benefits, good pay, and 3 weeks of vacation to boot. I might have to work at night but that would be okay. I've been such a slacker, it would do me good to get a job and relate to adults.

My sister got her hopes dashed a bit on the house deal. The mortgage company made a mistake on what they are qualified for so they have to redo their papers and see how much they are qualified for. They found a house they want really bad and she was about to cry today. I told her buying a house is a rollercoaster ride and is stressful. We'll see what happens.

Two more days until my mom's surgery. I'm hoping it works out good.

Kristin-Sorry to hear about your Grandmother's passing. She's at peace now and that's the good part. She'll be missed by you and your family. I'm so sorry.

Jeniqua-Did I hear DORITOS???? No, no, no. I'm struggling today. I slipped and ate some saltines. Darn it.

Tabitha-I hope that AFLAC job works out for you. That would be great.

Fma-I'll let someone explain the challenge to you. I'd have you so lost, you wouldn't know what was happening...

Melissa-I love having our taxes done. At least that's one thing out of the way. One less stressor.

Jillybean-Glad you're breezing through school... :) How's our little Bayley? Hoping she stays well and healthy through the rest of the cold months.

Michelle-Hey girlie...I sent Mel her money. When do we need the money for the next challenge?

Hi Roxy-I love your "strangers in the night" tune. You make me laugh so many times in a day. You're such a happy person. I doubt I've ever met someone so upbeat and carefree as you. :)

Deana, Ricci, Geri, Cheri, Angel, Penny, and the other NON-posters-Hello to all of you girls. Gotta find some dinner before I die. :D

02-16-2005, 10:28 PM
Good evening ladies. I went to the gym tonight and boy was it a workout!! I didn't get to workout on alot of machines with weights like I wanted to because it was packed and DH had a meeting at 7. I ran my 2 miles(takes me 30 minutes), used some machines with weights for my hips and my arms. I plan on doing some crunches(150) tonight before I go to bed.

Kristin~ I am soo sorry to hear about your G-ma! I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. I am glad you and your family were able to be there with her when she passed. We are always here for you! We miss you. You can get back where you left off. So what do you say, are you ready to join the team of wonderful ladies again?? Go Kristin, Go!!

Chris~ I know, bad girl!! The SBD is going great except for my 1 goof. Let's make this challenge rock!! I'm glad you got your taxes done too. Extra money is always nice.

fma4mom~ Welcome!! My name is Jeniqua. I am a SAHM to Jasmine 5, Juliesa 4 and JT almost 3. If you're looking for encouragement or motivation you came to the right place! I'm looking forward to getting to know you.

Jill~ HI!! How much longer do you have for school?? I'm okay now that I know you're still with us.. :) Have a lovely night!!

Roxy~ You are such a riot! I know your kids must have a blast with you. Don't you worry about the scale not moving soo much. You're melting away in inches, soon the scale will follow. You should be very proud of yourself!! WOO HOO!! Way to go!!

Well I better get my kids to bed.. If I don't make it back here tonight I'll see all you ladies bright and early. Nite!!

02-16-2005, 10:59 PM
Just a flyby for me... been folding laundry, doing hubby's bookwork, cleaning out my children's rooms and closets, helping my friend move into her new doublewide, shopping....hmmm... And Watching American Idol!

This is my first one to watch but I am very excited that two people from Louisiana are still in! And Lindsey is from my hometown!

I am sooo sorry to hear about grandma :( You are in my thoughts!

I am gonna come back later on tonight or in the am to post to everyone! Lots of love!

I am pooped! LOL
