As V-Day now behind us; is anyone ready for a new challenge that can take us to Easter day, March 27?

I'm setting my goal for 260. This represents a 14 pounds loss over 6 weeks..

Who's in?

I'm pledging eight pounds, and ending on Good Friday so that the Easter Bunny can visit me on Easter Sunday :)

My goal is 227 by Easter, which would be a weight loss of 12 pounds.

I would also like to take on this challenge ... Im short on my V-Day goal by one pound ...so now it is time to make it up! I am pledging to lose 16lbs by Easter!!!

Count me in. I'd like to be 195 by March 27, just in time for my birthday on the 31st. This will be a 7-9 pound loss, depending on whether this water weight goes away or not! :) I know that doesn't seem so ambitious, but I've slowed down to a snail's pace lately.

My first challenge--count me in! I'd really like to see the other side of 300 ASAP! I was 306 this morning, so I'll make my goal 295 by March 27. 11 pounds, here we go!

I am in too....

I made my Valentines Goal of being down to 282 lbs by Valentine's day and I did it.

My new Easter goal is to be down to 272 lbs by Easter weekend. That's a 10 lbs loss.

Hi I am new. I am a friend of TheOtherJen. I would like to get in on this challenge. I need to lose some weight. I am putting myself down for 12 pounds by easter.

Welcome Nickodimas, glad you could join us.

Well I am sure to reach my current goal of 317 by Feb 28th. So I will continue with my next goal of being 299 by May 1st. So by March 25th I need to have at least 12 lbs off. So my Easter goal will be 309.

I'm going to go for 14 lbs loss. I'm sitting it high thinking this will make me work harder. I've been away. (helping w/my 1st grandchild) I've lost 1lbs since then. I'm taking care of him and I think I have everything in order for my workouts. Now to sit down and talk with him about it. (newborns can be so so stubborn) :) Todays weight 204

I'm in - I already had my own challenge going with myself for March 28th as that's the day I leave for Florida. My goal is to be 235 by then so I have 11 lbs. to lose! :)

Since i was stuck on a plateau for a while, i would have prefer to wait until March 04 to step on the scale, but temptation was too hard.

I'm now at 269, that's a 5 pounds loss within a little more than 2 weeks. Hopefully Push ups / sit ups sessions will shake things up!

How ar you ladies and gents doing?

I'm doing surprisingly well...I'm down 5 more pounds and have only 7 more to reach goal. I have really gotten better about portion control and cooking all the good healthy stuff...so I hope that makes a difference for me.

I've got 5 more to go and 4 weigh in's to do it. So I think I'll be right on track if not past it. My goals have been 2 lbs a week and I've been hitting 3 and 4 so I'm ahead of the game.

Late as well, I'll make a goal of 7lbs (292), a little low, but I know I can do that much (hopefully more, though)

Now for the real question, whats your goal to gain on easter, lol

Count me in as one of the late joiners!! I would like to be at 250 by 3/25 (Good Friday). That's my daughter's sixth birthday :) It's only about 6 pounds or so, but it would be a big thing for me to get there and stay there for more than a day or two.

Good going Jen. I try to set modest goals on these things because I got tired of failing my goals. LOL So I'm hoping that tomorrow I will have made my goal also. I have 1 more lb to go. This week was not the greatest so I'm not sure if I will show a loss or not.

Thanks, Howie. I always have to remind myself that, while good to keep us accountable, the challenge amounts are sometimes arbitrary. Aside from keeping on plan and exercising, we don't have total control -- our bodies kinda wanna lose when they wanna lose!

Here's hoping for a SCALE victory tomorrow! :crossed:

I'm 1 lb. away from hitting my goal with a week to spare. I'm thinking when I weigh in on Wednesday I will have hit it :) as long as this TOM doesn't screw me over too much (I want to eat everything in sight)

Oh Man! I am so excited just weighed in this morning and I am at 271! 1 more pound and I meet my goal. Everyone is doing so great!

Look at everyone go. I'm still like 9 pounds away. Who knows I might just drop those pounds before then. Stranger things have happened and I have maintained for two weeks. I'm not going to hold my breath on this though ;)

I hit my goal when I weighed yesterday...so since there is another week to go I am doing to see if I can make it an even 20lb loss since I got serious (more would be nice too)

Everyone is doing SO well!! Dawnyall - maybe you'll have a great big loss this week if you've stayed the same for 2 weeks prior - I'll keep my fingers crossed!

I haven't been around and posting for a while because I've just started working again I am absoloutely SHATTERED!! I haven't worked for 18 months so I knew it would be tiring plus, I'm working in a foreign language...when I get home I am just good for nothing and go straight to bed lol!!

I stayed the same at my weekly weigh-in yesterday (not able to go to the slimming club anymore as it's during my work hours) but had a decent loss last week of 6.3lbs (by my scales) but only 3lbs at slimming...needless to say, I'm going with MY scales from now on lol!![/COLOR]
