Feeling somewhat better I am praying that it will last for a little while. Came down with the flu or something that me made feel like crap! As I said earlier my Feb goal is 8lb so I am praying to make it. I have been so in and out of it but during one of those in it times I found out something about myself that I am hoping will aide me in this. I have found out that when I get cold I mean the nails turn blue I go straight for junk. SO I have been trying to figure out some ways to stop this behavior, I think that instead of the junk I am going to aim for some hot tea and if there isn't a way to get that I am going for apples. Gotta go and get in some work just thought that while I am at myself I would pop in.

4 points for me yesterday - back to normal with my power walk and cycling! Today I got my *** down to the pool and swam for the first time since November! It felt good but was hard work but I managed to swim for half an hour.
FAYE - I expect your pool will be open soon won't it - that will be great for you as there is less danger of you hurting yourself! ;) I thought I had already posted my Feb goal, but maybe I dreamt it! I aim to lose 8lb in Feb.
CARRI - Glad you are back in the swing of things with dieting - it does take a few weeks in which it is an act of pure will that stops us going for the junk - then it gets easier and we stop craving all that crap.
NIKKI - Your dad sounds much like mine - he's only once said he is proud of me and that was because I was in tears and had told him that he'd never said it (I'd just got a 2:1 in my degree). He's mellowed out alot with age thankfully. I'm really glad that your dad has finally recognised your weight loss and has said he is proud of you - take what you can get I say! Hope your falling out with your best friend isn't as final as you think - give it a few days then do all you can to fix things - especially if you fell out over a bloke!!
SANDY G - Sorry you have been so poorly - hope you are recovering well now.

Afternoon Everyone ... had a 3 pointer yesterday...not too much going on with me as far as Weds woes go...my back feels a whole lot better so I cannot complain about that anymore :lol:
Amanda - good job with the swimming, I wish I had somewhere to swim out of the public eye ( I am not as courageous as you )... of course I am not the best swimmer so that might not be such a good idea, I better just stick to the walking.

I just had a Lean Cuisine for lunch that I do not think did that much for me, I may be already a little hungry and I just ate a half hour ago...better go get some water out of the machine.
Ummm, girls, we have got to work harder this month. Out of 41 lbs we set as a goal, we only had a 22 lb loss for the month of January and we have a 50 lb goal for Feb so let's try and get closer to it this month, shall we?
I am supposed to be cleaning my downstairs, but I found out our tax refund will be deposited on Friday so have been fooling around with airline tickets etc for our vacation. Sure seems to take a lot of money to go on a vacation doesn't it ? I see now why people don't take their kids on more of them. Our is costing us around $6500! The most extravagant thing we are doing is flying first class. I hate to think what people with children spend to take their kids on a vacation to like Disney World or something. This is our last hurrah for awhile though. We are planning a short one next year with 2 of our friends and going to Mall of America. 3 of us have been, but her hubby hasn't and he loves to shop so what better thing to do??? We are just going to rent a van and drive up to Indiana, pick them up then go to Minnesota instead of fly. We did that with my sis and bil a few years ago and except for them fighting the whole time and their bratty daughter being obnoxious and insisting we eat and do what she wanted, besides the, "are we there yet" whining, we had a good time. We did have a very funny moment. We had just eaten lunch and drove across the parking lot to the convenience store to get gas. DH and bil went in after bil filled up the car, to get snacks and drinks (yeah I know, I don't know why either since we had just eaten, but...) Anyway, they come out, get in the car and we head out (we were on our way back home). We get about 100 miles down the road and my bil discovers he didn't pay for the darn gas. My sis and I sat staring out the back window waiting to see half of Minnesota's state troopers after us! :lol: We ended up at a rootbeer stand laughing about the whole thing. We couldn't even send the money to them because we didn't remember the name of the station! I had guilt for that one for a long time, but it was the one funny moment in an otherwise fight of the week.
Ok, since I am on the subject, let me ask you guys something. Do you and your spouse or significant other argue very much? I just wondered because this sister has been married just a year less than I but they fight EVERY day about something. How can you stay married like that? Maybe I am just out of the loop because Jack and I truly only fight about 2 times a year. We even only disagree occasionally. I mean, I know we have been married a long time, but so have they and their marriage is like Tyson and Ali going at it. Maybe we are the oddballs and most couples disagree more than we do. I know that younger couples with children usually have more disagreements and ones that have financial woes because of stress, but heck we lived in poverty practically for 29 years and had one heck of a rebellious kid and still seemed to come out of it ok. Just wondered. Actually, I am stalling so need to go fold laundry and start scrubbing the toilet and floors! :lol:

4 points yesterday! Wooohooooo........... And I skiied 4 miles in just over an hour! Sweated like a pig, even though it was only 10 degrees out. Lots of good sunshine! And I'm working on making a new friend...a grownup friend, even! :lol: One of Ben's little friend's mom came skiing with me today and we're going skating tomorrow after the boys get out of school. SHe likes to do outdoorsy stuff, and I'm trying to get outdoors more....so it's great! We both have the same schedule, so we can encourage each other to do things outside in the mornings. Should help the weight issue alot! (I hope :D )

4 points for me yesterday. haven't got much else to report..........feeling a bit tired today and PMS is on it's way - boo! I'm REALLY achy from swimming yesterday - shows how much I have been neglecting those muscles! Going to take it easy today and rest up a bit.
Julie - Is *** a swear word?They say it on 'Friends' so it can't be!! :lol: I'm glad you are making a new friend - all those outdoor activities will REALLY help your weight loss.
Faye - About the arguing thing. I couldn't stand to live with arguments every day, but some people thrive on the drama of it all I guess! We don't argue alot - usually it's when I've got PMS - so we're probably due one around now! :lol3: I think that considering we are with eachother 24/7 (neither of us are working), we hardly argue at all - we are great companions and best friends and enjoy just being silly and having fun!
Carri - Those ready meals are tiny aren't they? I always think 'no wonder they have so few calories - this is a sparrow portion!'

Afternoon, hope you all are doing well...I am just getting back from lunch and thought I would pop in ... had a 3 pointer yesterday. I need to start exercising so that I can get into gear with this weight loss, I do appreciate the 1-2 pounds per week but would like to see a little more on some weeks like I did last year.
Julie - Glad you had a good time with your friend...that sounds like great fun and exercising.
Amanda - Yes, some of them are pretty small meals, but they are all pretty good. I am used to eating small portions on WW, it us just that some days it is harder than others...
Faye - To answer your question I think it depends on each individuals personality. Take for example me and my dh, we have been married for 11 years now and yes we seem to fight alot...well probably not as much as I think, but I have a very head strong personality and so does he, so we butt heads alot on our opinions and how we want to do things, but we love eachother alot. Our fighting, which usually doesnt last long, is usually just a couple of harsh sentences and then it is over...we get over it soon and go on to the next argument, ha ha :D
Tonight I am going to drive to my sisters ( in Tipton, about a half hour away ) , she is having a jewelry party and wanted me to come, I should have fun because A ) my mom, and other sister will be there and B ) I get to spend money !!! :lol:

Carri: You going to a Premier jewelry show? I went to a couple of them. Just be careful what you buy cause some of the stuff doesn't hold up well or is cheap and will turn green. I have a few of their pieces that I have had for a long time, though.
Julie: I could see my (the swear word on Friends) on skis. I would take one step, fall and brake a hip, a leg, an arm or my neck. I used to be so graceful in my younger years and now I am like a cow! :lol: I have never water skied either and am not interested in trying even if I was normal size. I would be terrified I would permanently screw up my knee all the time. I can roller and ice skate but haven't done either of those in years.
Amanda: If you can get them, try a lean cuisine pizza. I put mushrooms on a cheese one and about a tbl of mozzerella to hold the mushrooms on and it was yummy. I think we have to make our brains think the food is more than it is and quit seeing it as a bitty bit. Once we do that, we can really conquer weight loss. It is surprising how little a serving size looks to us piggies! :lol:
Well, I better run. My grandson will be here soon as it is Thur and I feed them dinner on Thur. He is "star of the month" at his preschool tomorrow so he is all pumped up about that. He gets to take a poster with all his family on it (I hope she had a sort of decent pic of me! :lol: )

Good Morning Ladies!
4 points for yesterday!! NO pounds down :( in fact, I'm up according to the scale.....BUT I know my body runs at least a week behind my behavior. And I did pig out the past week stressing over the book. Plus, it's pms time. I've gotten tons of exercise for the past 5 days and I know I'm on the right track. So, I figure after TOM and everything settles out, I should show a nice loss. Just have to be patient.
Going Skating today!
I'm starting to put little stickers on my calendar for every day I get 4 points. It helps remind me to be good. I always forget how many days in a row I have posted...
Well, I hope to see lots of pounds down today! Faye, have a great trip this weekend.

Morning all, I was one pound down this morning ... Old Faithful with my one pound every week...I guess it is better than nothing...I am honestly going to start exercising next week to kick this thing into gear...gotta quit talking about it and just do it !!!! :)

3 points for me yesterday - needed a break from exercise as I was exhausted! Is it just me, or does everyone feel a lot more tired and lacking in energy when you've got PMS?
I'm not reporting any pounds down till the end of Feb - my clothes are certainly beginning to feel looser and I feel a lot fitter though which is excellent. I really feel I am in the swing of this diet now - I'm not struggling with cravings and am naturally making healthy choices and eating less. I just hope and pray that I will see a good loss this month - or I might have to postpone the wedding! I am determined not to be a fat bride - I would just feel rotten, especially as we are getting married in the Caribbean so there is no covering up in the 30 C heat! We're not going to book the wedding till late summer, so I've got plenty of time to get on with losing weight.
CARRI - Well done on your 1lb down!
JULIE - I'm sure you'll have a great loss next week as long as you stay OP this week!
FAYE - Enjoy your weekend away.

I have really been slacking on my weightloss plan the past few days...ive basically just been getting points for water. Its time to get back on track. I was talking to one of my best friends yesterday and she was like "i really hope you keep up with this weight loss, you are sooooo much happier." its kinda cool when people notice. My dad hasnt given me any more crap lately...he actually gave me money to guy new pants and things because all the ones i had were falling off of me. I was wearing a 20 and now im down to a 14. Anyways, I am not weighing in this week.
Amanda-I am always lacking energy when I have pms. Its definately a good sign when your clothes are fitting looser, keep it up!
Carri- Congrats on the 1 lb down!!
Julie-No pounds down, but it sounds like you're really staying on track, so they will be comming off in no time. Have fun skating today!

This keeping track of my points with shiny stickers in my calendar is really motivating, cuz it makes me want to keep a really long string of them going. I used to just post my points and then forget about them. But this way I can look back and it feels like a real accomplishment. Try it!
Skating kinda bit yesterday :( It was too damn warm....low forties and the ice was slushy. Got some exercise in anyway, though. Next week we're going to the rink with the boys after kindergarten, so the weather won't be an issue. It's too warm to ski today, too. THe snow gets really slow when it's above freezing. OTOH, it's bright and sunny so I'll probably take a walk. Gotta get my sticker for today!
TOM this morning...which totally explains the scale yesterday :lol: On a lark, I measured myself this morning. Haven't done that since January LAST year. And I have lost some inches! PLus, I can actually see my hips getting smaller. So, I just have to wait till next week for the scale to catch up.
Carrie--CONGRATS on your pound down! Don't knock those 1 pound weeks...they really add up. Slow and steady wins the race.
Did I miss any other losses? Amanda, I KNOW you must be losing....but you are SMART to only weigh once a month! You have a definite depression pattern related to the scale. When you ignore it, you are so much happier! I'm so PROUD of your exercise lately....I just know you're going to look GORGEOUS in that wedding dress! Keep it up.
Nikki, don't worry about the past, just start each day clean and fresh. Once the park is in full swing, you'll be too busy to eat anyway!

4 points yesterday - no walk, but forced myself onto the bike even though I was feeling a bit rough. I've had my walk and swim today - it's helped my PMS a little which I REALLY need!
I've bought some herbal water retention tablets and have been taking them for almost 3 days now, but they don't seem to be doing anything! I thought I would be peeing like a racehorse, but if anything I am peeing less! (too much information!) Has anyone else taken them before and how long does it take for them to work, if at all? Or have I just wasted my money?
JULIE - it looks like star charts aren't just for kids eh? :lol: I can see how it helps as like you say, it's hard to keep track of the days here. In my food journal I keep a total of my calories and log water and exercise - I then review it at the end of the week which I find really helpful. Last week I had 7 days OP with food and 6 days exercise!
NIKKI - Your friend is right - you should stick with the diet. I know in the past that when I have lost an initial amount of weight and am starting to look and feel better, I always lose focus because I am not so desperate anymore - do you know what I mean? It's at this stage that I end up putting all the weight back on because I have got complacent - so be careful! Set yourself a new target - say to fit into size 12's by Easter or something, and really go for it! Congrats on getting into the size 14's by the way - and that was nice of your dad to buy you some new clothes.

Been working on just getting better and I am hopeful that this time I don't have a relaspe so soon. I haven't kept track of anythng, heck it is been hard to even figure out which day it is! LOL! I know that my eating has totally sucked! Got in plently of fluids,water and juices mostly. I haven't even workedout any I know that with my body if I am still ill I just end up getting worse if I do workout so I have decided to start back on everything on Monday. The head is almost clear and that is the last thing to get better so....
Really quick now........Amanda you go girl I am sssssssssssssoooooooooo proud of you! As for the swear word of *** I got a really good chuckle out it.
Julie, wish that I could get outside with you. Plus making a new friend I think that is the best though can't have too many friends.

Nikki, I agree with your friend about being in a better mood with the diet and all. It has been my experience that if I loose I start to feel better bout myself and that says it all.
Faye, I wish that I could give you more insight to the fighting thing between couples but somehow I think that I wouldn't be the best for that.
There has been so much going on here illness and other stuff but finally everything is getting back to normal. Going to get bed is calling my name have to work both jobs tomorrow. Everyone have a sunny day!

Good Morning everyone!
Only 2 points yesterday, we ordered out for chinese food....BUT that was after I walked 4 miles!!! in an hour!!!! :eek: and dh went snowshoeing for 3 or 4 hours on the appalachian trail. So, I don't feel even the least bit guilty :D Especially since I purposefully ordered just stir-fried veggies. I ate 1/2 and egg roll and some crab rangoon...so I know I was over calories, but I didn't just chuck the whole diet and pig out...I consciously chose what I was eating and stopped when I was full, but not stuffed. So, YAY ME!
We've had such a string of sunny warm days here! It's giving me spring fever, which is bad because soon I know we'll be back to cold and gray and depressing. But I'm making myself get outside everyday and my mood is definitely at an all time high.....despite TOM and other daily woes. I'm just so happy to be alive, it's disgusting! Gotta get more sunlight!!!!! It's like a drug up here. THank goodness it doesn't cost anything.
We're going to an all day superbowl party around noon. I'm guessing there'll be lots of junk, but these friends are very supportive of the whole healthy eating thing, so I know there will be a nice crockpot soup and plenty of veggies and dip. I'm going to try really hard to be good. But I"m also going to go take a walk before we go, just to keep my metabolism humming.
Sandy, I hope you stay healthy for a good long while this time! From what you post here, I'm seeing a stress/illness cycle.....do you have any time at all that is just for you to decompress??? Even if you could take just one yoga class (or aerobics or whatever you like)a week, your health would probably improve. You work 2 jobs, raise a son, are living with an ex (or did you kick him out?).....the stress you're under is pretty intense. Just don't forget to put yourself first, so that you can be there for everything else.
I decided yesterday that my reward for getting below 200 is going to be a nice new mountain bike! I'm putting away $10 for every pound I lose until then so I'll have the money when the time comes. I'm hoping by March!
Okay, gotta go take my walk before it's time to drive.

I got another 4 pointer yesterday - I had a massive craving for pizza because I've got PMS, but I managed to control myself and have the low fat one I had in the freezer with extra vegetables and mozarella - and still came in under my calorie allowance! It was probably my most testing moment of recent - it was all I could do not to eat the whole block of mozarella, so I'm really pleased that I controlled myself. The good thing is that I KNEW that I would not order a takeaway pizza - obviously the craving was there, but I knew that I don't eat takeaway pizzas anymore which really helped!
I've had the mother of all walks today - I added a big distance onto my normal walk (don't know how far) and added an extra big steep hill. I was enjoying just walking around roads that I'd never seen before and ended up way off course - so that meant I'd walked even further away from home! The funny thing was that even though I had greatly increased the distance, I still completed the whole walk in 45 mins, which is more or less what it usually takes me, so I must just naturally be walking ALOT faster. I was really red faced and sweaty, even though it is really cold here today - but I felt really good!
JULIE - Good for you on treating yourself to a mountain bike!
SANDY G - Glad you are better - you did right to rest up completely and your body will thank you for it. Ditto what Julie said - you NEED to find a little time for yourself!

Ooooooops, how could I forget! I had a sneeky peek at the scales today and I've lost 3lb! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:
That means I have achieved my first 7lb (half stone) target - woo -hoo! Now I'm going to crack on with the next 7lb.
I don't know if those water retention pills have taken affect - but I was certainly due a loss, so I'm really pleased, whatever the cause!
Just got home a little while ago and had tons of stuff to put away. We had a blast and it was the ultimate hotel. It was a Hilton Gardens Inn, cost us $79 a night and that includes a hot breakfast. It had super amenities, including french milled soaps and Neutra gena shampoo etc, free high speed internet access, fresh baked cookies and milk each night and lots of other stuff.
Thought you would like the laugh for the day though. I got up at 6 am to go to the bathroom, came back and Jack was awake. I asked him what was the matter and he said, "I was thinking about you." Well, you know what that means, so we did our romance thing and the fire alarm went off right after! I know we are a hot old couple, but sheesh. Jack looked out the door and didn't see smoke, but it was the whole hotel not just our room screaming alarms and sirens and strobe lights. I was scrambling to get clothes on, knowing I had to go down 3 flights of stairs, UGH! We couldn't get through the phone so Jack went downstairs, while I tried to throw on clothes and make myself decent. It was a false alarm, but darn what a way to finish sex! :lol:
I need to run some errands so take care today and not too much pizza during super bowl tonight!

Julie, a mountain bike. That is most certainly a great treat for reaching your goal. My ex is still here. I have been trying like **** to get some time to myself but with going and doing for everyone else seems to get in the way. I have already decided to start saying "NO" more often.
Faye, there is a country song "One Hot Mamma", that comes to mind. I bet that the look on both of your faces was "priceless". Hotel room $79.......sexy nightie $50.......day at the spa $150.......look on your lovers face when the fire alarm goes off PRICELESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MONDAY: Today is Mission Monday and our mission this week is to think about why we go back to bad eating when we are being successful. What makes us eat like pigs, when we have lost weight or when we have had a successful week? Is it the plain love of food? Do we miss our favorites. Is it laziness not wanting to cook? These are all things that contribute to failure on our weight program and to be truly successful, we must learn to ignore craviings for bad things or at least learn to control how much of something we eat. I watched a program last night where a professional chef didn't want to quit his career but had to lose weight. He took a 5 gallon bucket and everytime he ate something he shouldn't he would put the equivalent of that in the bucket, ie, if he ate a cookie, another one went into the bucket, filched a piece of bacon, anoother piece into the bucket. He said, at the end of the day, he had HALF the bucket full. Maybe we should adopt something like that to show ourselves just how much we eat. Take time this week and look at yourself and see why it is you go back on your program when you are successful and then try and eradicate that behaviour forever.

It was my best friends birthday yesterday, so I went out to eat with her to one of those slightly more pricey steak houses where you pay out the *** for a steak that is the size of like the palm of my hand. I wasn't very impressed. We went early in the afternoon because her family didnt want to miss kick off so there were maybe 3 other parties in the entire restaurant and service sucked...we had to track down our waiter like 8 times, and had to ask for something multiple times before he brought it out. Anyways I went to fill my car up with gas yesterday and this girl I went to highschool with works at the gas station and when I went in to go pay she was like "i wanted to ask you how you lost all that weight, you look really good now." :) sweet. Today will be a 4 point day.

Amanda-Good for you on dodging the craving, and even better for you for losing the three pounds!

Welcome back Faye - glad you enjoyed your weekend - and at least you got your exercise in! ;) :lol:
I got 4 points yesterday - I am doing so well at the moment *pats self on back*! Like I say, I am at my most dangerous time (PMS) but I am keeping up the exercise and finding ways in my diet to include a little bit of extra fat and carbs that I crave when I get PMS (never crave sweet stuff thank goodness!). Today for lunch I had 2 slices of wholegrain toast, spread with a thin layer of red pesto, some garlic, mushroom and cherry tomatoes and some grated mozarella - instant pizza! :lol: It was only about 500 calories and it means I've satisfied my craving . Too often I have tried to be really strict and not allow myself any cheese at all - and then come PMS I end up bingeing on cheese sandwiches and pizza! So it's important to find ways to include the things you love (unless it's a trigger food) at times when you need it most. I am a lot happier on my diet at the moment because I know I can have low fat cheese (pre -sliced so I don't eat a whole block!) if I want it - I've had a pack of 8 slices in the fridge now for 2 weeks! I also make sure that I don't eat cheese two days in a row - I don't think mozarella on toast every day would be helpful on my diet, so I'll have low fat soup or something tomorrow.
I suppose I am going on about this because it ties in with Mission Monday - I think alot of the reason I end up going off track is because I feel deprived and give in at my weakest time. 99% of the time, that's why I go off track - then the floodgates seem to open and it can last for weeks.

2 points yesterday. Got in a 2 mile walk and water, but ohhh baby did I ever eat at the party. I'm a social eater and don't realize what I'm doing while I'm busy talking and hanging out with everyone. Back to normal today, though. I should have a 4 pointer.

Boy, I got the ole exercise in today! I am spring cleaning and did the downstairs, closets, drawers etc. How do people accumulate such junk? I clean out my stuff every time we move and did it 3 years ago when we bought the condo and still have 4 bags for the Goodwill and 5 of trash! I stepped on the zipper thingy on a coat I was giving to Goodwill so now the bottom of my foot is killing me. Man is it sore. Let me tell you, the animals heard some words out of my mouth when that happened! I also broke one of my nails, darn it!
Julie: Sounds like you are having a blast with winter sports this year. Don't sweat the party, I know you and you will come right back around.
I need to get my upstairs chores done as I started right in downstairs this morning.

TUESDAY: Today is Target Tuesday and our target this week is self image versus body image. Body image is basically what size your body is. Self image is how you see yourself. Don't confuse the two. Your self image is the hardest thing to work on and it is what makes us partially fat in the first place. If we cannot see ourselves as having any worth, we cannot effectively change what we want to about ourselves. Our body image is just that, what our body looks like. THAT is the easier of the two to change. Let's work to make our self image a good one. If you have emotional issues that need to be dealt with, you must deal with them to be able to work effectively on the body image.

Another 4 points for me yesterday! I had another long walk and then later went on the exercise bike for half an hour. I've also been swimming today, but I found it really hard work - it was my fifth day of hard exercise in a row and I think I'm due a break! I find everything harder when I've got PMS as I feel a lot weaker and have less energy. Keeping up with the exercise is really helping my PMS moodiness though - maybe I'm just too shattered to feel moody! Don't worry I'm not going to overdo it - I am trying to work out 6 days out of 7 (which I achieved last week), so am due a rest day tomorrow or Thursday.

Afternoon All ... boy what a weekend I had, I started cheating on Friday night and it didnt end until yesterday, sad to say...I think I had just been OP for so long that I cracked :lol: Dh did too, boy we had quite an EAT FEST...I will say that it was soooooooooooo good to eat that way, I am not making any excuses, just getting right back on today, so far I have done great...I am going to allow myself a small cheat on Valentines Day as my dh is going to make me dinner and I want to be able to indulge, FOR the one night anyway...
So no points for me this weekend or yesterday :(
Faye - I laughed out loud when I read your hot hotel story, thanks for that I needed a laugh to get through the work day :D
Amanda - You are doing such a GREAT job...even fighting off the pizza temptation ( I had it twice this weekend ) ... keep it up!!!! Stay strong during the PMS, that will be me next week !!

Well, rumor has it the park is FINALLY starting to call people to tell them if they got their promotions or not...one of my friends who made manager is going to feel out the sups when he talks to them today to see who made the position i want. 3 points for me yesterday. Gave myself a day off of exercising, first day I've missed in like 2 weeks. Dance class tonight and then skating tomorrow if the big storm misses us.
Don't have much to report today. Only gripe is that I finally had to schedule a root canal that I've been putting off for years. Getting it done in March. At least I'll be able to chew on the left side of my mouth for the first time in 3 years!! :lol:

I have worked my behind off again today. Moved living room furniture and such to make way for the treadmill and had to move the computer stuff, which is a big pain. The new computer showed up here about half an hour ago so Jack gets to put that together tonight I guess. Looks like we have to go out and buy speakers for it though. The new Dell computers don't have modems in them either. They seem to think everyone has high speed internet I guess!

3 points for yesterday, no excersice...too busy out in the cold watching the boys trying to fix a gokart that they broke. I am exhausted today. I was asleep and my brother started banging on my door at like 3 am just to see if i had a phone in my room...the other two are probably in his room...so there was really no need to wake me up...but after that i couldnt sleep. Then when I finally get back to good sleeping, my mom calls me to ask me something or another about soup. She and my dad are up in san antonio for the week so I guess she was shopping on base at the commissary. Oh well...
Sandy, mmmmm day spa....so soothing and relaxing...have fun!!
alrighty well gotta get going. Gotta change the oil and a headlight in my car.

Julie: Sounds like the kiddies are having fun and so is mommy still in her jammies! I have been up since 5 AM running errands and such. Boxed up all my grandson's "baby" toys so had to go out and buy him some new stuff. I got him a tiddly winks/bingo/tictactoe game, 3 new card games, and a dominoes set, then bought him 6 videos/cartoons type stuff. They have dinner here every Thur night so I needed to get stuff to keep him happy. He will be thrilled with the new computer as I can now load AOL games that I didn't have enough memory for before. He likes to play poppit and some screwball game with these pipes.
Nikki: I would have beaten the whowho out of my brother for waking me up! My brother was the only boy and younger by 5 years to the closest to him, with the oldest being 15 years older than he so he was a brat and still is. Thinks he can pull anything and everyone will look the other way. I get along much better with my two sisters, one of which is only a couple years younger.
I have an Italian charm bracelet and bought myself 2 new charms for it, Spongebob and Happy Bunny. I thought Thomas would like them. He likes to always look at it and see if I have put anything new on it. I have everything from the Republican party, the Navy, to I LOVE chocolate and I LOVE to shop. I want to find a little handbag or an I Love hanbags but haven't found one yet. I have a shoe though! :lol:
You would be proud of me. I didn't EXACTLY buy a new handbag when we were in Nashville. Wilson's Leather had a big sale and I bought a really pretty lavender messenger bag to take to Vegas. My smart*** husband said, "Well, that is probably big enough to hold your stuff from your purse, but where you gonna put your books and snacks?" Sometimes, why do I put up with him??? :lol: :lol: :lol: So, I make sure I have all emergencies covered, hey, I never am without what I need! I think I told you that when my family gets together the ladies play sort of a Let's Make a Deal thing with our handbags. Someone calls out something and whomever has it first wins. I ALWAYS win...let's see. matches (never know when you need to start a fire or light a handsome man's smoke! :lol: ), those little handwipe things in little packages, a corkscrew, knife, scissors, screwdriver, combo (hey Jack needed it while we were in Nashville, I want you to know!), tissues, makeup and all the other things MOST women carry, bandaids, eye drops, tiny screwdriver set for my glasses, lens cleaner, and on and on. I carry reading and sun glasses, calculator, tampons, extra ink pens, emory boards, manicure set, lotion, address book, calorie counting book (this doesn't get looked at much sorry to say! :lol: ) I got a beautiful suede bag for Christmas from my dil and son and it is WAYYYYYYY too small to carry for everyday so I have to save it for a special dinner or something! :lol: Add to that my ocd, so the handbags have to have pockets etc so I can separate stuff into groups of like things! UGH, I know I am hopeless!!!!

Hello all...hope you all are doing good, from your recent posts it sounds like you are...I have not been doing well this week with my diet sadly...I have been like one day on and one day off, today I had chinese for lunch and will have the rest of it for dinner :D
my dh has promised to get my treadmill up and running this weekend so I need to get back on track tomorrow and start in on it this weekend...I am in a low place for some reason...anyhow I know I will come out of it, I am so excited that I get to have my new dining room table delivered this weekend!!!
so I got that going for me, ha ha ...
Well I do not have much time, gotta get back to work, so I will talk to you all later, have a great evening ... :)
