If it is okay with you guys, I would like to share somethings about my marriage and my life with you. I feel comfortable in doing so, but didn't want to just jump right in there with it. There are somethings that I would like some feedback on, and only get biased opinions from my mother. Anyway, I will check back tomorrow and see if it okay. I know this is a forum for weightloss support, so that's why I am asking first.

Anyway, as far as my weightloss is converned, I am having a hard time right now, with giving up certain things. I have a soda addiction, and an addictive compulsive personality. I have cut way back on my portions, and am drinking 2% milk now. I love to drink milk, but just can't go any lower than that. Although, I did find a product that is made from real milk, but is lactose free and skim but tastes like whole milk, problem is it's expensive. It's called Mootopia, they sell it at HEB. Oh well, milk has calcium, calcium good for bones. I won't apologize. I will drink 2 or 3 glasses a day, but that is basically all the dairy I get. I rarely use butter anymore, and as far as cheese, I only eat it when I have a sandwiche, which is rare. So I don't think I'm doing too bad there. My real problem is carbonated soda and the fact that I hate water. But the next time I go grocery shopping, I am going to check out that fruit20 stuff and see what it's like. Has anybody tried it?

Well, I am off to bed. It's ten o'clock, and my children are in bed. not asleep, but in bed. My son will undoubtedly end up in bed with me. But that's okay. Have a good night's rest everyone.

01-21-2005, 01:10 AM
Redskirt please PM me with what you would like to share :D

01-21-2005, 07:23 AM
Good morning! I'm glad to see the new thread. I hope everyone and everyone's kids are well and happy today.

I have some issues with Jeremy's school that I need to address today concerning his ADD and some lovely "notes" that have been sent home. <sigh> This is the school that flat out refused to consider an IEP for him and now they're complaining. Well, what did they expect??

I'm going for my Friday weigh-in today feeling bloated. I wonder if I'm retaining water... I was telling my family during dinner that I didn't want to weigh-in and Sean asked, "why go on a diet if you're not going to monitor your progress?" Then I delicately told him that women's weight fluctuates a lot, and he got the picture. Silly boy! LOL! I'll let you guys know the verdict later. Grocery shopping later.

Tabitha - I don't like water either, but I do like Crystal Light. Fruit 2o is good, also. I have to force myself to drink water, epecially in the winter. One thing that helps me with the addictive foods is to not have them in the house. It's hard to give up soda, I have a major Diet Coke addiction that I'm slowly breaking. Good luck!!

Michelle - just curious, how do you pronounce your hubby's name? Just like it looks? That is a really cool and unique name!

I just wanted to give a shout out to Penny, Melissa, Roxy, Stephanie, Deana, Jeniqua, Chris, Jill, Geri, Cindi, Kristen, Spryng, Ricci, and the other Stephanie. Have a good morning and stay warm!

01-21-2005, 08:39 AM
Good morning ladies!

Well another cold day here. Stiffins the joints for exercise....If that's a poor excuse or what? Anyway, I think I am going to skip the gym today and workout home. I have so much cleaning to do. The challange for today is lunges, and my knees is bothering me. I will have to modify them again to get them in. doing one leg is ok, the other it's too much for it. I ate too much pasta ...for me....last night, so I hope I didn't mess my status up. I don't think one meal will do that, but ya never know the way my body works.
I guess it's back to soups today!

Gretchen, good luck on the weigh in! LUK

01-21-2005, 10:23 AM
Okay a longer post from me...
I've been a busy person with work and painting and work and painting...hey you get the pic.

Mel-Lunges? Ugh? Oh well, I'll get those done. My least fav. is the crunches. My back doesn't handle those very well. So I didn't get any pts for yesterday. How's it going otherwise?

Breakingasweat-Brain drain...forgot who you are. Don't be mad at me..okay? ;) Anyhow, kind of going through the same thing with my oldest at school. She is having trouble, esp. with comprehending and recalling what she reads. It affects all her school work. I had her tested last year to see if I could get her some help. For our state, her scores where really low, but not low enough for them to do anything about. She can't "legally" get any help. I guess she's one of those kids who's going to get lost in the crack and forgotten. Not to be too pessimistic, but I think that she's the kind of kid who will get fed up with it all and eventually drop out.

Hey-Redskirt! Welcome! I'm Chris, mainly a stay at home mom of 3 girls. I'm 33, live in Montana, have rheumatoid arthritis, and am trying to use WW flexpoints to get this darm weight off of me.

Roxy-I mailed you those patterns on Tuesday. Let me know if you get them today. It might be tomorrow. My husband mailed them priority.

Hi Steph, Stephanie, Penny, Michelle, Jeniqua, Kristin, Ricci, Spryng, Deana, Ginny, and the rest...gotta start getting the kiddos ready. TTFN and talk to you later.

01-21-2005, 10:33 AM
Good morning ladies! Today is going to be a relaxing day for me. I know I won't get any exercise in today or anything. My right side of my face is completely swollen now. It hurts to talk or anything. I still can't eat. Itried eating sugar free jello last night and I screamed because it hurt soo bad. I have a Dr's appointment today at 12:45. After my appointment I will make a dentist appointment. They won't do anything for me anyways until the infection is gone and the swelling has gone down. I finally broke down and will be paying for my dental care out of my pocket until I am able to get dental coverage again. I am not watching any kids today because of how much pain I am in.

Mel~ How cold is it where you are?? It's -10 here right now...burrr.. Lets not even talk about cleaning! I haven't been up to keeping it clean like I normally do this week. It's mostly the kids rooms and the toy room that's a mess. I will be doing thorough cleaning this weekend. I know your weight will be fine. I'm sure the pasta didn't even touch it. Again, you are doing great!! Keep it continue to motivate me as well.

Penny~ Hey! How are you?? How has your week been with exercising and staying OP?? Are the kids keeping you busy?? Have a GREAT day!!

Gretchen~I hope all goes well with your son's meeting. I was having problems with my teachers daughter earlier in the school year. I had a talk with her principal and her teacher. Since then everything has been great! It's very frusterating I know, but everything will work out just fine. BTW, you're doing great with your weight! I too hate it when I retain water, but you will start to see a difference soon.

Tabitha~ I've never heard of that milk you mentioned. As far as the water goes, I too can't drink straight water. Have you ever tried adding lemon to it?? As far as the soda, I am the wrong person to be talking to about that..LOL! I love Coca Cola! I've been great. Now I buy the sparkling waters when I want something carbonated and it seems to help take the urge away from me.

Michelle~ Hey girl!!! How are you?? BTW, I've been craving the chemie cheesecake from Apple Beee's, I guess it's a good thing I can't eat, huh? Just kidding! I think if I was able to eat I would be able to resist. I've come too far to set myself back now. How's the weather in your neck of the woods??

Chris~ Hey girl!! I miss ya, where have you been?? Or should I say where have I been?? Post, so I know what's going on with ya!

Jill~ How are you?? I think it's great that even though all you've been through lately that you jumped back on the wagon to continue getting fit and a lifetime of healthy eating!! You're doing great!!! Have a lovely day!!

Well I'm going to rest and relax until my appointment. I'll BBL.

01-21-2005, 10:35 AM
Hey Chris!! It was soo great to hear from ya!! I'm glad all is well. You've been a busy lady, you need to slow down..Have a great day.

01-21-2005, 10:42 AM
Morning Ladies!

How is everyone doing this morning???

Andrew is still sick :( So I don't have a sitter today.. I'm with you Mel... I'm gonna stay home and clean and get some exercise in here

I'm sorry to hear about your mouth :( Here is some get better vibes coming your way ((getwell)) :)

How is the painting coming? Lunges.. I know... ugggghh... Hey, but that's what's gonna make us skinny?? I'm in :D

Sorry to hear you are having problems with school :( Let us know if you decide to weigh in... We all have that horrible bloating :( Have you been drinking extra water to help flush it?

I love flavored water... of all kinds.. I love it :D As far as the 2 percent milk, if that's what you like then drink it, right? As long as you keep your fat intake down on unhealthy items ... I think it's ok :)

I have you added to the bio! :)

Well I need to spend some time with the kids and I am gonna wait until they are laying down to clean and exercise :)

01-21-2005, 11:00 AM
Chris - I'm so mad!!! (NOT!) Hey, it's OK. I've only been here for a week or so! I'm Gretchen, age 40 (cough, choke), married to Matt since 1988, Mom to Sean (15) and Jeremy (11). I stay home, for now at least. I just joined Curves and am on a reduced-calorie program (1200-1400 per day). I don't have the discipline to follow a "plan", so I just play it by ear every day. I'm in Maryland, where we think 20 degrees and 1.5" of snow is horrible winter weather. LOL!!!! We're due for 12" this weekend and life will stop as we now know it. Seriously, we're a bunch of wimps.

Nice to see everyone, I must stop procrastinating and get to Curves!

01-21-2005, 11:38 AM
Good Morning Ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flyby for me. On my way out the door in a few minutes to get to Curves. Dd has preschool today then to Walmart to pick up a few things I keep forgetting everytime I go......must be oldtimers disease LOL! Dh goes back to work tonight and I have a lunch date tomorrow and cleaning all weekend while dh sleeps. Hopefully I'll be able to check in a few times this weekend...between rooms !

Hope everyone that is sick gets to feeling better soon (and the kiddos too).

Have a great OP day everyone!

01-21-2005, 11:44 AM
Chris, I have a guest speaker coming to a local support group that I have here for weight loss and he talked to me about situps and crunches. He said only do them on a SB...stability ball...or wedge. Wedge is just a soft slanted ..well...wedge...Anyway, he says the the stomach wall can only be as strong as ones back. SO doing situps/crunches when your back isn't strong can hurt you. Hope this helps. Maybe go out and buy a SB I think Targets price was about 10 bucks.

Jeniqua, I'm sorry your tooth is hurting so badly. Pray that you feel better soon. Well, not eating isn't the way to lose Just trying to bring some kind of humor into your aching day. I know it wasn't that funny, more dopy, but you can laugh about that...if it doesn't hurt. Feel better.

Deana, great to hear from you! Hope you get everything done. Miss your longer posts though.

Penny, I hope Andrew is feeling better. I'm gonna give you a buzzy on the teli, so we can chit chat while cleaning.

HOpe no one snuck in on me. I'll see I guess. bbl

01-21-2005, 11:55 AM
Hi Ladies....

Just fixed me and the boys a snack... Just wanted to stop in and say HI!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I tell you the weather is so beautiful here today!

I'm gonna open up the house and we are gonna run around outside for a bit :)

Deana, Gretchen and Melissa... Hi out there :)

01-21-2005, 12:11 PM
Good Morning Ladies!

Sounds like you've all been busy today so far. I had a hard time getting my body to wake up, Taylor woke me up screaming at the top of her lungs today lol she was just trying to wake me up, but woke up Teagan in the process...oh well kids will be kids. Hey quick question, did anyones baby stop taking a nap around 1 year old? Teagan hasn't napped for a number of months, she stays up til 6 which is when we put her to bed and she sleeps til 7 am (yeah I'm lucky lol) I was just curious if anyone elses children just decided to stop napping around that age. I actually love that she stays up I get more cuddle time since I don't get to put her to bed at night I cherish the days that we spend together.

So I'm gonna do at least 30 minutes on my Gazelle today plus the challenge lunges. I going to have some oatmeal for breakfast and who knows what I'm having the rest of the day...I must admit that I didn't eat nearly enough yesterday but I just didn't have an appetite, I had a horrible sour stomach for some reason and it really turned me off to think of eating but so far my tummy feels okay today. I drank lots of water yesterday so hopefully it won't turn sour on me again.

Mel have I ever told you you're my heeerooooooo...(in my best bette midler voice)'re everything I would like to beeeeee........and I can fly higher than an eaglleeeeeee.....cuz you are the wind beneath my wiiiinnnggggsssss!! You are a workout FREAK!!! I'm so inspired!

Penny I hope your household gets to feeling better! :D Sorry I had to bail on chat last night, I had a ton of paperwork to do once the restaurant closed last night and I'm also preparing an inventory of the hotel for taxes ugghhhh pain in my butt!

Jeniqua you are doing great girly keep up the hard work!!!

Chris, geez you've been busy!! How have you been feeling? It's been warm here lately nothing like last week! it's been mid to low 40's all week! The only bad thing are that the streets are a mess!!

Gretchen, how are you doin today girly girl?

Okay well I've gotta run and go get my exercise in and get my house cleaned and finish a paper for school. I hope you all have a great day!!
Lot's of love

01-21-2005, 01:26 PM
Hey ladies I'm Baccckkkk!!

I just finished 30 minutes on the gazelle my leg muscles are twitching like crazy and depending on your body position you can make it have more or less resistance, I burned 275 calories! Woo hoooo and I kept a steady pace of 4 mph. I really like the gazelle and I feel like I got a good workout on it. It will probably be really easy for me to do once I get lower in weight. I took my meds before I worked out so now I have another 30 minutes to wait before I can eat. I have to take my armour thyroid on an empty stomach and wait an hour before I can eat.

Anyway, I'm gonna have a Smart Ones for dinner tonight and a grapefruit for dinner along with something else but I haven't decided what yet lol. Any Suggestions?

Hey Jeniqua thanks a lot for passing on that craving of Chimi-Cheesecake to me!! Now I'm craving one LOL but since I don't feel like driving I won't go get one lol.

Okay ladies I'm off to do an assignment!
Have a great day!!

01-21-2005, 01:38 PM
Hi everyone!
I usually have six children in school today only one! Everyone else, all the girls are sick! I have two that could have gone but I found out yesterday that their teachers also have the flu, that means just sitting at their desk coloring or something else. It's probably a good idea to keep them home one more day anyway. I'm sitting here having my chai and looking out the window. We have severe winter weather advisory today supposed to get lots of snow. It's pretty but makes getting out a hassle. Our particular street is gravel and what normally take two minutes to get to the tar road turns into like 8. But that's life in the country! I hope we never get like 3-4 ft. we'd be here awhile!

Michelle- hope your tummy feels today. I also had a baby that didn't want to nap. So I just left him up a while longer and put him to sleep earlier. He slept through the night. ? I don't know, even as children sleeping patterns can vary. I have to agree with you about Mel she's my hero too. Is that what happens when you lose weight, you have energy? Just checking!

Penny- sounds like the weather is great by you! I can't wait to open up the house and let some fresh air in!

Deana- have fun at Curves and wallyworld! TTYL

Gretchen -have fun at Curves too!

Jeniqua-Ow! Nothing more miserable than a sore tooth! Get better!

I hope everyone is having a great OP day. I felt "lighter" today and weighed in hoping for a big drop but only lost 1 lb. Hey a pound is a pound and I'll take it! Maybe this illness business is effecting something. Hope all of you challengers are doing great! I'mm not feeling too well but at least my headache is gone.

01-21-2005, 01:41 PM
Michelle-I wanted a gazelle for Christmas but we just didn't have enough money for it. I am going to get one. I think it would be great for my joints.
So far we are in the upper 30's here. It's supposed to be in the 40s. Yesterday was awesome and so warm... :D

Melissa-Are SB's hard to use? Maybe I'll borrow my brother's before I go buy one to see if I'll be able to use it. I'm not sure what my back's problem is...whethere its just weak or if its also affected by RA. It doesn't feel like I can round it up all the way. LIke I have a flat spot.

Jeniqua-Hey girl! How's your family and husband? Is he feeling better? Are you getting that exercise in? Nice to see you posting again.

Gretchen-I'm sorry.... :o So anyhow, Sorry you're having a rough time with Jeremy's school. My 2 brother's are ADD too. My mom never liked the drugs for it. My younger brother takes some natural pills everyday and let me tell you-It helps him out alot without dragging him down like ritalin.

Penny-I betcha fresh air will fill so good after the kiddos were sick. Have fun out there!~

Okay gotta go. The gal is here to measure our rooms for our NEW carpet. I am sooo excited. Yes I'll get my lunges in and then I'll be painting again.

01-21-2005, 02:14 PM
Hi, everone.
I guess I just miss everything since I don't get to post in the evenings right now. Oh well. No exercise today. I had to take RJ to the dr. He woke up screaming running down the hall. His ear hurt, took him to the dr, and tada, ear infection. He is sleeping right now, poor guy.
Welcome, Tabitha and Gretchen. I am Ricci semi sahm to two boys Eric 6 and RJ 2. I am going to school at night, and have reached my goal weight. The women here are terrific, and a great support group on anything. I hope everyone is doing well on the challenge. I haven't had a chance to get to the site and check it out, but it sounds like you all are doing ABSOULUTLY FABULOUS!! Keep up the good work everyone.

01-21-2005, 02:19 PM
Hey Michelle! Great job on the workout girlie. SO proud of you. BTW, don't quit your day job for a singing career. lol. just kidding. I haven't workout YET. I have been up and down my stairs a billion times cleaning and organizing. My whole up stairs is done. That's 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Except for vaccumming which I couldn't do, because bugga is asleep on the floor in the living room. Pretty soon, you'll be a workout freak too. then will have to get matching lame I know.

Roxy, sounds yucky by you. Here it is about 8 degrees and windy, and that's cold for us. Sorry to hear about the sickie girls. You are right though, one more day might help prevent another 5 days off. There resistance is low. btw, I wanted to compliment you one more time on how you have answered many questions about children and such around here. You have a very nice way of stating things. I'm sure you have learned through trial and error how to deal with many issues that come up. Hats off to ya!

Chris, the sb is easy to use and may help you. It may feel harder to do the crunch, but easier on the back. It's a give and take type situation. Try it out and see. I use it at the gym for many different exercises. Even push ups . Which is hard. bcause you are trying to keep your legs balanced on the ball and the whole upper body forward moving up and down in a push up. Makes for an exciting workout though. I have so many choices that I don't get bored too easy. Hope this helps you out.

01-21-2005, 03:40 PM

01-21-2005, 05:54 PM
Hey ladies  !! I am back from my Dr's appointment. I finally have some meds to kick this tootache to the curb..WOO HOO :cb: !! When the nurse went to weigh me she told me it looked like I had lost some weight! I was really happy because that means it's noticable and that all this hard work is worth it. When I got on the scale sure enough, I was down from my last visit :cheer: . That really made my day. At 6pm I am going to a scrapbooking party. I am really looking forward to it. They are going to have lots of goodies there but thankfully for me I can't eat anything. So, I know I'll behave myself :lucky: .

Mel~You are too funny  ! I must admit you made me laugh. Thanks, I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine: therefore I am cured ;) . I think that's just what the dr. ordered.

Penny~ THANK YOU SOOO MUCH... for the get well vibes. I am well on my way to being toothache free. I made an appointment to see the dentist. Hopefully I can get this tooth straightened out. How are your boys feeling?? I must admit too I am jealous. You get to open your windows and let all the fresh air in  !! I would love to trade places with you right now. It's only 0 dergrees here.

Chris~ DH is doing much better! He's actually been taking care of me this week :smug: . When he's home he won't let me lift a finger(I guess it does pay to be sick sometimes) I haven't been to the gym much because I have to walk and it's freezing  . On top of that my tooth can't take the cold right now. I have been exercising at home though. I hope to be back at the gym and in full swing by Monday :^: .

Roxy~ Hello!! A pound  ! That's great..I'm like you, I'll take any weight loss I can get. It's better to have it come off slow and healthy than have it come off fast only to gain it all back again. This is a permanent lifestyle for us. Keep up the great job! I hope your kids are feeling better soon...(((((HUGS))))) :grouphug:

Michelle~ I'm sorry..But you know what?? When I can eat I'm going to make that low fat cobbler recipe you gave me :cloud9: . That should help with my craving. I can do this... I can do this... :) !!

I hope I didn't forget anyone..

Where's Jill~ Jill come out come out wherever you are!!! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY :balloons: :balloons: :gift:

Well I will probably be back in to say hello in the morning. Everyone have a great night

BTW, I think we all deserve a group hug

01-21-2005, 05:56 PM

Ack, I just posted a long message and lost the dumb thing before I posted! Geez.
Well, I lost 1.2 lbs this week. I'm happy to keep it around 1-2 lbs per week.

Michelle- how's your stomach feeling now? I guess you like the gazelle, huh?
Jeniqua - I hope your toothache goes away real soon.
Roxy - 1 lb! Yay! Just remember it's good to have a steady loss. I hope the kids feel better soon.
Melissa- you are a workout phenom! I admire your dedication.

Well, I'll talk to everyone else tomorrow.
Good night!

Roxy-So happy you got the stuff! Trust me, there is more where that came from. If you can't use some of the clothes just give them to someone who can. Don't you just love that pattern. That doll is a cute one. I have another one that I'm going to send you but didn't have time to copy it off yet. I'll have to get on that one.

Jeniqua-Glad you got some meds for your toothache. Toothaches have got to be the worst.

Chubba-Did you utter the naughty "potty training" words? I have a stubborn little one. If you have any good tips for this potty training thing, PLEASE let me in on them.... :D

Okay back to helping the hubby. Other than grout and some stain...the fireplace is done. It looks so awesome. Next is sanding the sheetrock mud and then its painting down here in the family room. Guess what I'll be doing tonight?

Jenny, glad you are feeling better. Have a good night sleep. Maybe you got some food in ya too.

Chris, boy I bet everything is shaping up wonderfully! Yippie on the Gazelle. You and Michelle are gonna be busy on those things.

Gretchen, WTG on the 1.2. I bet you are happy about that. Slow and steady that's the way to go!

Anyway, gals, not to dissapoint you, but no formal exercise for me other than my lunges which I don't count fully because it's not cardio and only takes less then 10 minutes. Non the less it something, as we all know, is better than nothing. Right? Right! Ok, so I am going to try to get myself to bed early to catch up on some sleep. Hope you all have a good night. Tomorrow we are expecting 18 inches of snow....YIKES. But If it's gonna snow I like it like that, because then I can play with the kids in it. I love pulling them around in the snow tube and pushing them down the TINY slope in my back yard. IT's just right for the toddlers. There is one spot that slops just a littlle and for a big person it would be like a two second sleigh ride but for them its like a roller coaster. Last year they loved it. Anyway, I will do some cardio tomorrow at home on the treadmill. Dh and I will take turns getting our exercise in. Then I'll feel better. I need a 10 minute run and at least 30 minute walk. THis way I'll do a total of 40 minutes of cardio which will include my challange. OH YES, my foam roller came in the mail finally, so I will do that for 20 minutes then I'll have my hour. Oh, it's looking better already...see ya tomorrow ladies.

Crystal, if you are lurking, which I would think you are. I hope you are well and hope that baby is on it's way.

Okay, I've been wondering about this Challange everyone keeps talking about. What is it?

Anyway, I took the kids for a long walk, it's 8 now. And they are pretty worn out, so I am hoping a nice warm bath and story time will put them right out...

Aside from an hour and a half walk, I didn't get anything done or any other exercise either. I won't get my car back until the end of next week, so I've been having to walk to the store every day for milk or something, so that's really all the exercise I've been getting. I have an Orbitrek Pro sitting in the corner of my living room that I am going to start using while I watch tv in the evening. My favorite workout video is the Walk Away the Pounds. Anyway, have a good night everyone!

Hey Ladiesss!!!!

Gretchen, I'm so proud of you!! Way to go on the loss girly girl!! Keep up the great work!!

Tabitha, Thanks for the PM it's great knowing that there is someone out there who has SO MUCH in common with me. For those members that are familiar with my story you know what I'm talking about. I'm so glad you found us and that you have taken the positive steps to a new healthy you! I like Walk away the pounds as well! Get on your orbitrek girl and get that butt in motion. Something you may like by way of workout videos is the exotic dancing workouts orrrr perhaps some bellydancing videos. I have started using a gazelle now and also the playstation 2 game Dance Dance Revolution which is so fun!! I'm also going to buy the Yourself! Fitness game for Playstation 2 when it comes out next month!

Mel, I'm sorry your knees are hurting :( I hope they get better soon!

Jeniqua, how you doin sweetheart?

Deana, you crafty woman how is the painting going? I'm painting our hallway on Monday and then I want to take some pictures of our house because I never showed you guys the before and afters since we remodeled.

I wanted to tell you guys about the gazelle a little, some people say not to even invest in the low end model that is carried in department stores but I ignored their advice and bought it anyway. It was only 89 bucks at shopko in my town that's not too much to spend even if it ended up being inadequate. BUT I love it! get this....I did a 30 minute work out on it today and 5 hours later my legs were still shaking!! I'm totally serious girls!! I also burned 275 calories in 30 minutes and I enjoyed it. Now the effect it has on me may not be the same for everyone because I'm a bit heavier and I'm sure it will lose effectiveness as my weight goes down but my thinking is that no matter whether it gives me a hardcore workout or a light workout it's still got my body in motion. The places I feel it the most are my arms and my calves, and after I finished my workout my leg muscles were twitching!! So I would recommend it, but that is my opinion!

ohhhh Tabitha, I was going to tell you that we have our Moms Losing weight MSN group if you would like to join. We run our Biggest loser challenge from that group since it involves prizes I don't want anyone to feel that 3fc endorses the challenge or has any hand in the running of the challenge. We are currently in week 6 of the eight week challenge and we will take a couple weeks off between challenges. Every day there is an exercise challenge except on wednesdays which is water drinking day 100 ounces to earn the points. We award points based on pounds lost and inches lost so if you work hard you can really clean up so to speak. The challenge we have right now is only the first run so the next one will be much better. There is a price to join the challenge since I can't afford to shell out the money for the prizes myself lol. There will be more information when we get closer to the next challenge.
okay enough rambling here is the link
if you apply to join the group myself or one of the other managers will approve you :D

Oh, Roxy, has your son figured out how to use Reflet? I absolutely love that program and it is so easy to use! Have him email me if he wants some great graphics sites.

Okay girls, time for me to get back to work! I hope you all had a great night!

Okay, I tried clicking on the link, but it kept telling me that the page couldn't be displayed. And I've been hunting in the MSN groups (my msn username is jtstripe) and am going crosseyed trying to find it. Michelle, I will pm you my e-mail address. Maybe you could send me the link there? I've been looking for the past 45 minutes and just can't find it. :^: I would love to join, but I wouldn't be able to do it until the end of the week, depending on the cost. Anyway, I am up later than I intended, so I am off to bed.

Oh, walked 4 miles today! WooHoo!
