Question vietnamese restaurant???

Need some help desperately!!!

Going out for lunch w/work colleague to a vietnamese restaurant down the street - not sure what I should have (following Core plan).

I know they have a large selection of soups: with cellophane or rice noodles, broth, some veggies and protein (either beef or chicken?). I will try to stay away from anything fried (e.g. spring rolls) and hope to avoid the white rice as I would need to count that!

Anyone else have any advice/suggestions?

Thanks!

Default

Okay - back from lunch - not too much damage done!

Had a vermicelli soup bowl thing - w/chicken and shrimp and veggies - drank most of the broth and the protein stuff and only ate a bit of the noodles! Left a BIG HONKING PILE of noodles in the bowl.

Also filled up on chinese tea!

Not feeling full at all - lots of room for afternoon snack of fruit or popcorn! YIPPEE!
