Hello! It's the weekend at last! Hooray!!
The sun is shining and I've got 7 hours till I head to the pub...what shall I do to pass the time? Work you say? What a novel suggestion. I may well do that.
So, here is today's poll. FYI last weekend I managed to go for a pee on top of the Eiffel tower (they have toilets don't worry!!).

More later,
Kirsty

Good morning Kirsty, everyone ...

Can you believe the evil computer is trying to eat my chapter again? Apparently a different problem but the computer guy is nowhere to be found. Life is conspiring against me.

Most memorable toilet? Has to be my first French hole-in-the-ground one. ICKY. It was at a rest stop by the side of the road in the middle of some godforsaken area of France, there was no light, the floor was covered in I don't even want to think about what and I was wearing sandals. I peed on my own foot. It was, of course, a family holiday. Need I say more?

eurgh lolly, splashback is not good! neither are those nasty hole in the ground loos. hmm, the number of roadsides in france that have seen my bare bahookie! my parents used to drive to france (from scotland) every summer. camping holidays - those were the days...
but the eiffel tower toilet! well, things have come on leaps and bounds since then! you press a button and the seat descends automatically. you press another one (once you've finished) and the seat lifts back up and the toilet automatically flushes. very space age!

ooh brenda, my cocktail buddy-to-be, i'm going to go for margaritas tonight.... yum. ;)

laters girls,

Oh, oh, oh, another COOL toilet was in the Skoda car factory in Mlada Boleslav, just outside Prague (don't ask what I was doing there!). It was German technology at its peak, sounds a lot like that one at the Eiffel tower only there was no need for button pushing, it all worked on sensors.

Did you know there are Japanese toilets that can analyse your pee and poo and see if you have any nasty illnesses or if you're eating a healthy diet? And that German toilets have an inbuilt 'viewing shelf' so you can check for yourself?

Kirsty, you def know how to lower the tone for the day, tee hee hee ;)

Noone else will want to come and talk to us now, they are probably all far too refined and delicate. Trust the Brits, minds always in the gutter ...

maybe north american gals don't use the loo. maybe when they go to powder their noses, they really do powder them! eek!!

whatever happened to the new zealand girls? they'd talk about toilets with us...

Kirsty and Lolly - you girls crack me up! :) Good to see the board active this morning - even if the discussion is toilets.

There is a really nice hotel in New York called the Plaza. Some friends and I snuck in there and peed. Way nice. There's a lady sitting outside your stall and she handed up toilet paper. Then when we got out and washed our hands, she handed us the nincest paper towels I've ever used. They were so soft, I almost thought they were linen.. but they wee paper. I accidentally voted historical building instead of posh place. But I think the Plaza is kind of historical, so I guess that wasn't a wrong answer.

Things okay here. I have to events this weekend where I'll be eating out. I hope I can do well with those, especially since weigh in is on Monday. I've been getting salads, but lately lettuce has been messing with my stomach, so I'm not sure how to handle the two events.

Yeah for Friday!

Hello Lisa! Wow, sounds like one swish loo. Slightly different from the Polish one I went to once on Gdynia beach where, yes, there was a lady sitting outside who handed you the paper, but it came sheet by sheet and you had to estimate how many you would need and pay in advance. HOW SCARY IS THAT???!!!

I sympathise re: the events this weekend - I have a wedding tomorrow, I preordered lunch, but there were only 2 choices for each course so I think I have cauliflower soup and roast chicken. But there will be a buffet in the evening - chipolatas, sausage rolls, quiche, you name it. I hope there will be salad. I don't know what I'd do without lettuce - are you ok with other leaves, watercress etc? That's a bummer.

Hey Kirsty, speaking of those NZ girls, I was thinking about some of the people we haven't seen for ages - Faith, Debbie, Kirsten, Emily - GUYS? You still out there? And I noticed the other day that lots more people voted on the poll than posted, which is cool because it means there are lots of lurkers out there, so COME AND JOIN US! (Even if you just want to say hello) We don't always talk about toilets ... do we???

Hi again girls,

Do y'all know that coffee cake I was talking about yesterday? Well, I had it today.

Truth, I was really hungry. I drank water and waited a few minutes. It was definately hunger. I went to the cafeteria, and walked over to the toaster to make an english muffin - but the coffee cake was next to the english muffins, and I justed wanted the coffee cake.

So I had some. No clue what to count it. Does 8 points sound right? It wasn't a large piece. But I can still stay within my range for the day if I have a light dinner.

I just felt admitting the cake here, would force me to write it down and count it.

I was unable to checkin yetserday but I got lots fo work done and hardly have any left for today. So I am not too worried about my deadline which is nice. I have to email everything to my boss this afternoon. It is my first project and I got to do it from home which I am enjoying so far. I even went to the Doctor's office yesterday for a long visit and was still able to get so much accomplished. Today I am going to meet with the prof of my independent study. Yikes, I really need the help, I am so clase and yet still so far.

I had graduation rehearsal last night. It was basically a waste of time. Oh well. I will participate in the graduation ceremony on Sunday eventhough I am not technically done until this summer.

I ate too much yesterday - nothing horrible but more than I wanted to eventhough I had the points for it. There were cookies and cupcakes at the grad rehearsal and I felt that I deserved one. I ate only veggies for dinner but did have ice cream and a 1 pt cookie. Oh well. The best new ice cream find - Edy's Cookie's and Cream fat free, 2 pts!!! It is fabulous!!!

I hope everyone is doing well. I am so excited that it is Friday. My dad is coming in today for a few days and he hasn't been in a few months. I couldn't think of the most interesting place I peed so I didn't vote. Have a good day everyone!!!

P.S. I am going to WI tonight but do not expect good news. I am over on points for the week b/c I didn't catch up from last weekend and I am waiting for TOM next week. Oh well.

All this potty talk... I tell ya!! :) Anyhoo, I racked my brain and can't really say I have any memorable toilet experiences.... just the nasty camping ones... or the college parties in the middle of no where are you have to hide behind someones car. Those were the days!!!

Emma is better today. I went home early yesterday to relieve hubby. Poor little girl was so gassy and crabby and very tired. She slept very soundly last night and was smiles this morning! I also got a mothers day gift from her that her daycare teachers made. It was so cute.

Tomorrow I am going to an Amish auction. Not sure if I will buy anything, but it should be fun! HELLLLOOOO to everyone!

Hello girls. Well, I was home sick Wed and part of tursday, so I lurked on Thursday but for the life of mae can not remember what you all said.

Anyway, I don't think I have peed anyplace that great. In American, for the most part, they are all the same. But in comparison to some previously mentioned french pee places, I would have to say all the same is very comforting. My sister did get stuck in a stall once at a gas station when she was little. She had to crawl out under the stall door. Yuck! anyway, I guess I will live vicariously in that pee moment.

I have been doing very well on program. Hubby had a BIG trial the last two weeks so our house was very stressed and we ate out a lot. Happy to say he won, but he does not think it was for enough money. Men!

Oh, and my fridge is BROKEN. So tomorrow I am off to buy a new one. My entire house stinks of "fridge broken bad food." I would see about getting it fixed, but it is so old (from the 70s golden rod) that I would really rather have a new one..just not have to pay for it. I think I will look for a stanless one with side buy side doors. So I guess it is dry/can until we get the new one.

Kirsty: good luck on the weather woman gig. I have done my share of media training, but mostly for lawyers and accountants being interviewed for various news outlets. My only advice that may be at all relevant is to just be yourself. I think that is what comes off best on screen for everyone. You will do great.

lolly: did you find a dress? Have fun at the wedding.

lisa: that is a bummer about iceburg. Maybe all that water/fiber combo. I was reading that leaf spinich is really the best for you...maybe you could try that?

Oh, this may seem silly, but I was listening to an infomercial in the middle of the night that taled about how we don't get enough nutriants in our diet due to a lack of enzimes due to mirowaving. Now I am not saying I am ging to buy this "Dr's" product (sounds like snake oil to me) but the theory made sence. Think I will talk to my real dr about it.

Ok, must get off the net. Have a great day everyone and I will talk with you all later.

Hello Jen and sarah. Must have posted at the same time.

sarah: I did that with graduation as well. Walked in May and then had one more class to take that they only offered that summer. Ah, school. Congratulations!

Jen: glad emma is better. Have fun at the auction.

Hello Trish, Jen, Sarah, Tilley, Kirsty (if you're still there). I'm still here! Still procrastinating ... ahem ... working, although the computer guy still hasn't got in touch about my poor infected file (BOO).

Jen - glad Emma is feeling better. It's so touching that even when you're telling us how crabby she is, it still comes over just how much you love her. But that's what Moms are for, right?!

Trish - BOO on the fridge. You can get some really funky ones now though - I saw a turquoise plastic one in a showroom that is just so glam (you'd prob have to get a whole new kitchen to go with it though). And I got a dress for the wedding, a black chiffon shift - only now I need a bright cardigan to temper the 'bringer of doom' look (well, that's what my mum says anyway).

Sarah - wow, sounds like you're getting so much done. What's your secret? Can I have some? Re: graduation, I had the opposite problem, the system in Oxford is really stupid, they don't have the whole class graduate together, they just have a whole load of dates throughout the year and it's up to you to book on to one of them. Took me 2 years to get round to graduating my BA and another 2 to get the certificate (you have to order that separately). At least your way you have all the official bits done!

Ok, back to work ...

Hi all! I just was able to lurk yesterday but here I am now!

All of this potty talk has got me laughing in my cube. It brings back many lovely memories. I have always been known to have a "tiny tank" so to speak, so I have had many experiences with a variety of girls rooms. My most memorable was in a dance club in Chicago. It was a very strange experience. At this particular club (someone else in our group's suggestion), no one went to the restroom to actually use it. There were groups of girls in the stalls getting high which is something I hadn't seen in a club in this quantity. The attendant had to knock on the stall doors every time I actually wanted to use the stall for its intended purpose. I tipped the lady well because I don't know how long I would have had to wait otherwise.

OK so as far as eating this week, I haven't been that good. Last night I met with some gals that had been laid off from my company. We went to this awesome mexican restrauant and I ended up having 3 glasses of wine and chips and queso (I think 1/4 a cup of queso and about 1/3 a basket of chips). I think I was over for the day by about 8 points. Oh well...

I gotta get to work (boo hiss)! I'll check in later and tell ya'll good bye before I'm off to the cruise.

Wow, Kirsty and Lolly...that was quite the conversation you guys had going on:lol: I am one of the Germaphob people.....I rarely use a public washroom, if I do use one I totally line the seat with like half a roll of TP, I'm such a freak!!!!

I went to WI the other day and I was down 3.6# so I am at 31# and got another ribbon:D I was very excited, I think I have gotten back the motivation that I had lost!!!!

Kirsty Good luck with the interview!!!!

Lolly, I think that we have the same little computer gremlins in our computers!!!!! I hate mine:rolleyes:

Brenda.....Go AVS....Actually I wanted Buffalo to win last night but looks like my team is out:(

Lisa, good for you for writing down the coffee cake, I love it but haven't had it for years....

Sarah, Have fun at graduation, My dad is coming down to my place tomorrow and staying the night, I am looking forward to seeing him with out the Step*itch. He is going to pick her up on Sunday from her Mothers house!!

Jen, Glad that Emma is getting better, it must be a great feeling to get a Mothers Day Present!!

Trish, I am like you I want new "stuff" but I hate to spend the $$$$$, I love shopping for Appliances. We just bought our first major appliance(live in an apartment) a Deep Freeze. I love it, I can stock up on Fudgesicles and Cool Whip:lol:

I will try and check back later, hope everyone has a FABULOUS weekend!!!!

You girls are too funny!

I put that my most memorable was in NYC when the lady gave my the paper and had all these perfumes to use but then I remembered drunken college nights when we were walking back from the bars thru Harvard University and I peed all over Harvard Yard!!! That was great!!! I remember squating next to the building and people walking by....of course I was so drunk I didn't care. Oh those were the days!!! I'm such a lady I know!

Anyways~~~LAST DAY!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

I just met with my boss and it was okay~she was really nice actually and gave me all these compliments, not good at taking compliments....but anyways.

Weigh in tomorrow and I better have lost cause I did so well this week and it was pretty easy. I have that first week motivation thing where you are so psyched and feel so in control. Gotta take advantage while I can. Okay gotta go wrap things up. Have a great Friday!!!!

Hi Kay, posted at the same time as you!!! Your storey reminded me off my mom, a couple of years ago she went to Quebec City with my aunts. They went out to a club one night and she went to the bathroom and like you had, there were no doors, guys in there and in her words "they were getting it on" !!!!!!

Kirsty, In my house we do things MY way(joking) but he ALWAYS puts the seat down!!!!!!!

Happy Friday everyone!!

Well, I agree with Jen, my most memorable potty experiences are camping (peeing in nature) and college parties and such. When you gotta go, you will go anywhere! :)

Kay ~ I hope you have a terrific time on your cruise. DH and I really want to go on one, let me know what you think!

Kirsty ~ I have trained my DH well, he never leaves the lid up. Good man!!! :) I didn't know a toliet was called a "loo", I learn so much from you!! I am cultured now! :)

Trish ~ Sorry to hear you have been sick, I wondered where you were! I just bought a new fridge this past fall. I have always had a side-by-side, but opted for the freezer down, fridge up one, and I must say, I love it!! Nothing like a new fridge! But, I cannot believe how much they cost? Are they lined with gold????

Jen ~ I love Amish furniture, we have many Amish living around us. Have you been to the Amish furniture store by Hwy PD? I wish I could afford to decorate my whole house with it! Have fun!

Sarah ~ I am so envious of how much work you have gotten done! I need to wash all my windows in my house, and get a bunch of projects done at work, but I have been procrastinating!!!

Lisa ~ When you really want something, just eat it, and hopefully you eat a small portion, take the hit, and move on.....you will do fine the rest of the day.

"Hi" to everyone else that I missed or hasn't posted yet.

I am trying to be productive at work today, but it probably won't work!

Eating has been better, but I still need to cut back on my portions, they are getting large again. I hope to get lots of exercise in this weekend, it is suppose to be nice here.

Busy weekend...I hope to wash my windows tomorrow, take the kids to the park, and finish laundry. Then, on Sunday, we are having our family over for Mother's Day. We are deep-frying a turkey and hopefully enjoying the day outside. Should be fun....

Well, better get something done....see ya in a little while! :D

Kirsty
05-11-2001, 10:31 AM
..than rushing to the loo, sitting down and then realising the seat is up. argh!!!

ooh, if you are ever in Soho, London, then go to L'Escargot (posh french restaurant). not only do they have (tasteful) paintings of nude men on the walls of the ladies, but you get individual towels (yup, towels, not paper) to dry your hands.

Lollybird
05-11-2001, 10:37 AM
Oh yes there is Kirsty, it's realising the seat is up and "someone" has sprayed and not wiped up ... if you sprinkle when you tinkle ...

StaceyT
05-11-2001, 10:41 AM
Kirsty: I agree w/ the seat being down!! I had to get used to having both seats down all the time...especially now with a cat! The worst is in the middle of the night! I don't have a fluffy lid cover for that exact reason! :D
I voted somewhere I shouldn't have...
Just because when I was in 7th grade, my dad took me and a friend to a Haunted House. Well, I went pee before we got in line, but everytime I got scared in the house (which was a lot) I had a little "leak" hee hee
:o So, by the time I got through the house, needless to say I would have soaked the most absorbent (sp?) Depends! I was sooooo embarrassed and of course my "friend" HAD to tell everyone at church the next day. I cried all morning! :(
Ok, so much for bringing back the horror of adolescence! Thanks eveyone!! just kidding
I have so much work to do and yep you guessed it...must go to the loo (oo i feel v brittish!) did i spell it right?
Another thing I hate is when you really really have to go and the closer you get to the potty, the worse you have to go! Overalls are the WORST clothes to wear, too!

Kirsty
05-11-2001, 10:41 AM
wet toilet seats are gross, i agree. sometimes that is cos of the power of the flush though, but it's still horrible cos you're not sure.
still, thanks to legs, bums and tums i can hover if required! ;)

Lollybird
05-11-2001, 10:51 AM
Oh Stacey, that's a traumatic story, poor you! I'm still haunted by the time I wet my knickers on the way to my swimming class (I was about 5) and had to go home ... the next week the teacher ('Auntie Olive'!) asked where I'd been and in a shameless and desperate attempt to cover up, I told her I'd had measles and mumps and chickenpox!!! She cannot possibly have believed me, and I was convinced that somehow she 'knew' what I'd done ... THE SHAME.

Kirsty - hovering is fine as long as you have good muscle control. Otherwise - icky icky. I have happy memories of a hoverer friend trying to do her thing on a bus in Hungary ... the bus went round a corner, she grabbed the door handle to steady herself and came flying out with her knickers round her ankles. EEK!

Kirsty
05-11-2001, 10:55 AM
bus toilets are evil! lolly - have you noticed on the oxford tube (bus from oxford to london) they have a very low ceiling to try and force men to sit down so they don't spray everywhere? makes them very hard to get in and out of...plus they are so narrow you have to reverse in!!

Belle2000
05-11-2001, 10:56 AM
yes, my cruel sister broke the toilet seat and decided to crazy glue it. I was about 8, came out of bed for a night time pee, dozed off and had my *** bonded to the seat. I woke up, realized I was stuck, and screamed bloody murder. Now, my oldest sister was babysitting me,and the one that glued me was off with my mom at a dance recital. So my eldest sister called mom at the dance place, mom was crying andlaughing at the same time, screamed at the gluer sister (while laughing) and got home to find me still there. She said she was gong to unscrew the seat and take me to emergency witht he seat on my ***. So, I ripped my butt off the seat, leaving flesh behind(if you pardon the pun). Blood pouring down my leg....To this day, I still have a scar on my thigh.

Well, I WI and I was...THE SAME!!! V. pissed off, since I walked my *** OFF and ran, and ate well....I can't believe it. I am v. upset.

To make matters worse, had fight with b/f, who ended up telling me he reseneted me for not being able to talk to his ex, who he told not to call anymore b/c I get upset (v. upset that he said that) and hewanted way more time away from me, he didnt love me, he sometimes wonders why he is dating me, all of these things. It was almost worse than the journal.

then this morning, I was getting out of my car, spotted him, and thought I'd run the other way, he woudlnt' see me, but he did see me...and called out. then he took my hand (which he never does) and said he was sorry for last night, then I said, that's okay(through choked back tears) and he said he wanted to see me tonite after his drink fest with co-workers, I said Oh, alright. And he kissed me goodbye, on the street, in front of co-workers. I was only happy b/c I look good today (albeit exhausted) in a new red skirt with two slits up either side and my hair acutally worked. But I jsut don't get it - mixed signals, mixed words

I don't think I can go on in this relationship knowing that he doesn't really want to be here. I
want a Mark Darcy. I want someone who WANTS me, and it would seem b/f really
doesn't. Only when it suits him.

I want to feel special , even though I have quirky things and I am chubby and goofy. I just need that. and it seems to me that b/f is not a Mark Darcy. I think I am most
definately being used by a daniel cleaver.

I think I might have to break up with him over the weekend. I dont' think this offer is good
enough for me either....to steal a thought from Bridget. I think I'd rather be all alone. At least I would always know where I stood and not have to wonder if I was good enough, pretty enough, smart enough...I woudl know I was good enough for me. And sure, most of my friends are moving away, but hey, I sitll have my sisters, right? they won't leave me. and it could be worse.

I jsut don't want to get out of bed in teh morning anymore, I am constantly anxious, I don't want to sleep or eat or anything. I am not right. I think I need to go to my doctor and get some help. I am really worried about myself b/c I can't shake this.

I hate my job, I am terribly lonelyl here, I am not valued or valuable, and the ONLY thing I like is themoney...which is not good. I want out, but I know I need the $ and its good experience. I think I am in thewrong field, I think I need to do something healing, like Physiotherapy or something liek that.

anyway, there is my toilet story and vent for the week. I promise I won't come on the board next week if I can't be happy.

Have a good day girls.

In the US, with our low power flushers, it is most likely not the power of the flush.

Oh, lolly, I wear black to weddings all the time...without anyting else. I think it is ok in the US..i have even been in many weddings were we (the bridesmaids) wore black. So I would just tell everyone that you are being V. American.

Oh, and hubby better not leave the seat up! But he does splash a little now and then and makes me SO MAD! because I am ALWAYS the one who ends up cleaning it up!

my ex-flatmate's bf pissed (pee'd) on the toilet floor and then walked it into the carpet outside the bathroom. i was so grossed out i said to him "did you just pee on the floor?" and he said "yes" and walked away. flatmate had a huge go at me for saying it to him and said i was making him feel unwelcome there (up till then he was welcome, but staying and not paying bills and pissing on the floor tend to make most folk unwelcome!). thankfully she moved out to move in with him and then they moved to ireland. she was very odd. she has no friends so keeps emailing me now and again, asking me to visit them in ireland (as if!) and telling me she's engaged and so on. i never reply. i figure i'm only going to invest my time in good friends that i can rely on. quality, not quantity.

Hi Belle~ I bet you gained some muscle but also lost some fat but muscle weighs more than fat. I bet next week or the week after you will have a big weight lost! When you exercise as much as you have this past week your body has to adjust to it, but cheer up you did so great!!!! That toilet story was hilarious!!! I have a scar on my bum too from when I was a kid and rode my boke into a tree....there was a pice of glass nearby and I was wearing a skirt. All I remember was the ER doctor saying that he liked my poka dot underwear~~freaky! What is going on with your bf??? That's really horrible that he said that stuff....maybe it's time for you guys to go your seperate ways or at least tell him you want time away from him and it could possible become forever. Take the control back. He shouldn't have the power over you that he does now. Eith he shapes up or gets shiped out. And~~you better post no matter what mood you are in!!!

Well, my co workers just had a get together and gave my a present. They are so nice. Isn't it awful the way when you are leaving everyone shows that they are really nice people. They gave me a card with the nicest words in it!

Have a good one!! Cheer up Belle!

Aw Belle, honey, sounds like you have truly got yourself an emotional ****wit. Respect for seriously considering getting rid of him. If you feel even the tiniest smidgeon of a weight lifting in your tummy (you know that feeling?) when you think about breaking up with him, it's the thing to do - just be honest with yourself. And re: WI - get ready for a big ker-chunk next week. With all the walking and stuff your body is probably still adjusting :)

Trish - thanks for the American idea. I will be cosmopolitan and unashamed! And maybe wear some pretty jewellery with it ... I have a good (fake!) tan, so I shouldn't look like death warmed up or anything. Isn't it funny how there are such different expectations about what to wear to things like this?

Kirsty - flatmates and pee. Yuck. Shared a flat with 2 chaps in Spain, one of whom had a little substance abuse problem and would spray the whole bathroom when he came in all high. Of course, neither of them ever picked up a cleaning cloth (everything you heard about Spanish men is true!). It stank so bad. And right opposite my bedroom! Of course, that's nothing to the time he came in and ate half a raw rabbit's head out of the freezer ...

UGGHHHH, just found out that 2 guys, one being my hubby are out buying some shelves for work and are getting some frozen pizza for the staff for lunch. Pizza is my downfall, so I know I will eat some. I am starving at the moment too! We have a pizza oven here at work, so they taste yummy!

Lots of posts today... cooool! It is rainy and gloomy here today. We have the worst meteorologists. They can never predict the correct weather... KIRSTY... I hope you can knock some sense into those weather people!! :)

Better skidaddle...

Whee, had work orientation last night. It went well, but it was so not busy last evening so I fluffed up displays and such. I call for my hours this afternoon. It's cool though the store I work at goes up to 18, still not the largest range of sizes, but still better than a lot which are out there (at least here in Canada).

Anyhoo, I have this dang cold which I can't stand and my ear is blocked. Oh well, I am planning to go for a walk and I weight trained this morning.

So see y'all later!

Jen: maybe hubby will be nice and get you a veggie kind? If not, then I say eat it, count it and plan for dinner. I also LOVE pizza and have a hard time saying no. I think it is the cheese for me.

Speeking of pee, I went home for lunch and the dog peed on the couch. She did not want me to go. so I had to clean that up. What a yucky day like that.

Belle: Kirsty is right, we are here for you so please don't worry about being too down to post. You know, I am in communication too and at times I wonder why? It just seems like such a dumb, thankless job sometimes. I guess that is the lot of us PR chicks sometimes. and regarding BF, he really sounds very emotionally imature sometimes. I would say he needs major help in his communication skills. If you feel the need to break up, then I say do. From past experience (I know we have all been there) it is better to be without than to deal with these men sometimes.

Ok, I am going to get into so much trouble for being on-line so much today. Talk with you all soon

I’m trying to come up with a good pee location but it’s not something I have thought about before!! You get major points for creativity Kirsty!!! Oh, wait! Reading the posts reminds me of one!! I was at a company party for my Dad when he retired last year (retired early yeah for him!). Anyway, it was at this very posh country club type place in Downtown Denver. I’m thinking maybe the owner of the company (who my dad has known for over 35 years) is a member. The bathroom was very fancy and instead of regular paper towels they had cloth like ones. There was a woman in there who pumped the soap for you to wash your hands and then handed you the towels. They had fancy hand lotion, Q-tips, cotton balls, you name it! Way too foo foo for me! I felt weird having someone else pump my soap!

Oh no! Kay’s post reminded me of a better one! Right before a friend of mine moved to Germany awhile back, he was dying to take us to a club Downtown. Forgive me if I’m not politically correct, but this was not a straight club! It was a big group of us (about half straight half not). This place was packed! Anyway, I had been drinking all night and just had to pee. I went back to the bathroom and it didn’t matter which was which. There were male and female in both. The most hilarious part was the perfume machine on the wall. I didn’t partake, but someone was putting coins in it and it would spray right on you. I just had to do a double take b/c I had never seen that before. Leave it to the Brits & Scots to bring back these memories *wink wink nudge nudge*

DH once had a drunk naked girl pee in his closet during a party. He and his dad had to fight her to get her clothes back on – flailing arms and legs and all!! Can you say mental picture?

Kirsty: My brother and I are going out for beer and a good talk after work. I can’t wait!!!

Lolly: Yes, we are very loooowwwww *snicker* Refined and delitcate??? HEHEHEHEHEHEHE Yeah, us Americans just go right out back with the dogs!
Hmmmm, are we going to have a mind gutter competition here? Don’t write us off so easily!! Paying for your toilet paper by the sheet. Now I am frightened

Sarah: Don’t fret about WI! Just start over. That rehearsal sounds so exciting

Trish: What a way to help you stay OP huh? Nothing in the fridge to tempt you for sure!!

Steph: Yeah! Another hockey fan!! In response to your story; DH and I have a mutual friend who is somewhat homophobic. He waked in on two guys that fit your Mom’s phrase really well!! It’s something I like to bring up every so often just to pick on him. At least he can laugh about it. Am I bad or what???

Belle: I’m about to laugh and cry at the same time!! I can’t stand the horror and humor!! On the b/f: that’s it, GET RID OF HIM!!!! He keeps bringing you down and making your life a roller coaster. You are much better than that!!

Stacey: HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHE. I love your story

I love my husband! I was supposed to have a candle party last night (the hostess postponed) and I got home to this incredible dinner! First he gave me a strawberry shake made with low fat yogurt and 1% milk (I was on the internet trying to get Av’s tickets for tomorrow – no luck  ). That was very yummy and was only 4 points. When I finally made my way out of the office, he handed me a plate. He made orange roughy with Raegae seasoning and steamed veggies! The orange roughy was so good! Oh, does anyone know points for it? They don’t have it listed in the Complete Food guide so I guessed at 5 points. I think I ate about 4-5 ounces. Any guidance on points would be appreciated. So you guys want to die at how simple it was for him to make it? All he did was lay the fish out on a piece of foil, season it, wrap it up in the foil and stick it in the oven. Great way to do chiken too. I always have a hard time grilling chicken so this is a great way to keep it moist and make sure it’s done. I ended up at 24 points for the day! I also walked Nestle b/c I didn’t have to go to a show. I did 50 sit-ups and 25 of the leg raises. You know when you raise both feet to work your stomach muscles? Anyway, that earned me 2 exercise points :D All in all it was a good WW day.

Oh, little tid bit you might not know: Honduras is a country at high risk for Malaria!!! We had a blood drive here at work yesterday and I have given before so I was going to give again. Well, when they do your interview before you give they ask you if you have been outside of the country in the last year. Of course we were on our cruise for the honeymoon. Since we were in Honduras I can’t give until late July. Well, just another thing our crappy Travel Agent didn’t bother to mention. We didn’t check into vaccines or anything. I know we’re fine, but I though that was interesting. The blood center has 8 pages of places that are high risk for tons of reasons. (Stacey: Cozumel is OK)

Wow am I a typer today. Just too much stuff going on ;)

OK... Had the pizza. I had brought my lunch too, so now I have to drag that back home. Anyhoo, had 3 SMALL pieces and figured it to be about 9 points... plus a root beer soda... 3 points... total is 12 plus 3 for breakfast (I ate light and skipped my morning snack cuz of the pizza)... 15 points so far. I can do this! YAH ME... that means I can have a decent supper. I have WI tomorrow too. And I plan to walk tonight!!

OHHHH and in my Friday Stupidity I forgot to mention... I am wearing jeans today. MY OLD JEANS! YES!!!!!!!!!! I haven't worn jeans since I was PG and they finally fit again. OK, these are my biggest size, but they fit. That means I am on my way to getting SMALLER than I was BEFORE I got PG. VIRGIN FAT! How awesome is that??

Ok I better get back to work!

(Hope some people are around! I got into work late because I was coming back from the B&B that I stayed in last night for the shower!)

LOVE the poll question. I just wish we called them loos in the U.S. instead of plain old toilets. My most memorable ... just remembering brings back happy memories of high school! My friends and I in HS used to hang out under this Autobahn bridge that was right near the river. On weekend nights, we'd drive our cars out there and park in a circle with the headlights on so everyone can see. Then we'd drink, dance, sit by the river, you name it. Anyway, the partying was on one end of the pavement, while the other end had the "bathrooms." Girls went to one side, boys to the other.

My biggest gripe about European toilets? The ones you have to pay for! What a pain when you really, really have to pee and you have to dig in your pocket for coins to feed the stall. Or, worse, not having any change and having to beg someone to hold the door for you! And I remember the first time I saw one of those hole-in-the-ground toilets in France. I was horrifed!

Belle, honey: I tend to agree with Brenda. I think it might be time to get rid of this guy. He's playing you, and you're getting hurt over and over and over. You deserve so much better than that. He keeps saying things to you that are downright MEAN. Don't let him do that! Don't tell him it's OK! It's NOT OK. No one has the right to treat you like that. The right guy who will love you for you is out there, and the relationship you want shouldn't come in fits and starts the way it is now. I'm sending you a BIG HUG! And I don't think you should see him tonight.

Well, I hate to run, but I need to write a story. I'll check back later...

Jen: You better still post! (I'll be 29 in October and I'm not going anywhere!)

Kim... tee hee... :s: I'll still post!!! After all, I am going to be 29 for the next 10 years... unless 30 proves to be wonderful to me. But honestly... I am just not ready to grow up. My poor little Emma is going to be one of those kids that is mortified because her mother is weird!! I still dance around the house and do goofy things all the time. I tackle hubby... you know, all those things that make kids embarrassed. But for right now Emma loves it when I dance with her... Even Sadie the dog loves it. She puts her paws on my hips and dances with me! We are a goofy household! SO I WILL NOT STOP POSTING!!! :)

Belle... Kim is SOOOO RIGHT. IT IS NOT OK! It is never OK to have your feelings hurt. No matter how cute and nice the person tries to be after the fact. THE FACT IS THAT HE STILL SAID IT. And not just once, there is a pattern here. As much as it will hurt to leave him, your hurt will not last forever, you just need to get over the initial pain of it all. You can never force someone to love you... and in my honest opinion... he doesn't. I think it was Trish that said he is immature. I agree, he needs to learn how to treat a woman!!! You can do much much better and deserve much much better!! So many of the things you said that he said really made me mad. I would never let anyone get away with talking to me like that, especially someone that was my bf!! Let us know what happens and remember, we are always here to lean on!

55 minutes and my weekend starts! YAHHHHH
