Default New here!

I just started doing WW again to the, oh who knows, how many times. I am doing it at home becasue I really don't have alot of free time for meetings but I really want to get this weight off so here I am. My one biggest challenge, and I am heading to find the place to post my question, is this. My son through the fall is in marching band and through the winter is on his high schools bowling team. My daughter will be following right behind so I have a few years to deal with this:

I have to go with him to the bowling alley becuase he can't take his bowling balls to school and then its silly for me to come home and go back so I stay and then don't get home until sometimes 6:30 - 7:00. What can I have for dinner that I can make for my two kids (15 & 12) and my niece (25) who lives with me and is VERY VERY picky. I'm at such a loss as to where to start. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks
Vicki

Vicki,

Do you have a crockpot? That would allow you to have dinner ready and waiting for you when you get home. You could also make some casseroles ahead of time and heat them when you get home. Check out the recipes on this site - there's a lot of them. Pierogis are quick and easy to fix (I buy Mrs. T's.) and most kids love them. Make ahead a few batches of spaghetti sauce, freeze, and reheat when needed. Is your niece able to cook? If I had a 25 year old living with me who was very picky about what she eats and was able to cook, I'd let her cook her own meals if she didn't like what I was preparing for supper.

cook? roflmao That's funny. She can make a mean bowl of spaghetti and grilled cheese. That's it. She does want to learn to cook and we are all doing WW together so she will help me out. She gets home at 5:45 though so its hard for her too. I like the casserole idea, I will check out those recipes and see what I can find. I do have a crockpot and use it ALL the time but it gets boring after awhile. I'm hoping to find some fun and interesting things now for it since I am looking again.

Thanks
Vicki
