Talking It's funny how your mindset changes...

It really amuses me how your mindset changes. Last night I was thinking "I really pigged out earlier" Then I started thinking about I really ate.
a box of raisins, a banana, orange juice and a low fat granola bar. Comparing that to old Heather, that is definitely not a pig out. It cracks me up that "new Heather" thinks that eating alot of fruit at once is pigging out.

I also catch myself seeing different snack foods in the store and on Tv and thinking. "eww, I don't want that... it has too much fat/sodium/calories. For example., I saw a commercial for one of those "supper bake in a box" things and I remember that it used to lookgood to me. Now, every time I see that commercial I catch myself thinking "eww,... I can only imagine the amount of fat and sodium in that".

can anyone else relate to this?

I do this all the time. I know I tend to annoy coworkers and hubby sometimes because I'm always looking at labels and saying it would "cost" me too much to eat this or that. That is one habit I can happily say has stuck with me even when I'm not OP. I always read labels now. Sure I may eat a whole box/bag of something unhealthy but at least I'm aware I'm stuffing away 1200 calories of nothing.

What I have noticed lately is how much more likely I am to feel nauseous after eating too much sugary or fatty food so I just don't even think about eating stuff like that anymore because I know it won't agree with me.

Heather, that's a good thing! I tend to think that I pigged out, whether I actually did or not. I'm not gonna deny that I still love fatty foods.... mm. Dangit. I was really off track for awhile though, that might ahave something to do with it. When I stay on plan for awhile I don't crave the stuff as much.

I agree as well. My mindset has changed on a lot of stuff... there are things now that I know the nutrition information, I won't even touch.

I do the same thing with commericals, Heather!
