Hi everyone,
thought the old thread was becoming too long and bulky.
Es,
Thanks for the recipe, it sounds so easy. I didn't know there were reduced fat premade crusts available. I'm trying it this weekend.
Tomorrow my brother Tim and his wife will spend the night. We usually go to their home for New Year's Eve, but Joe is on call so we're hosting. We've got a ton of appetizers and munchies, and will play games.
Joe and I have been discussing our lifestyle, and where we want to be by this time next year. We've both got some changes to make in the way we've been eating, and should no longer ignore the fact that we're both out of shape.
So...tomorrow on New Year's Eve we'll have our last hurrah and then focus on eating healthier in the future, as well as incorporating exercise into our lives on a permanent basis.
What is everyone doing for New Year's?
I wish you all a Happy and healthy New Year. Stay safe.
love,
~Jen

Hi Girls:wave:
Jen, I was thinking about how long I've been here & being on the same roller coaster for so long. I quickly changed that thought & said to myself I can't change the past but I can change the future. This will be the year to reach my goal. I'm so sick & tired of procrastinating. I like staying home New Years Eve. There will be 6 of us. I bought appetizers. I'm making coquito which has tons of calories! It's made with coconut in the can, condensed milk, evaporated milk, cinnamon, nutmeg & rum. Some people add eggs but I don't. It's delicious.:T I'm making the ww pie. David loves it.
Wishing you all a HAPPY, HEALTHY, PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.
I love u's,

Happy and Healthy New Year to all my buddies!
Mike and I are on our way to celebrate with a bunch of old friends who have a party at their home every year.
I am bringing a recipe from a 1993 WW magazine. It is a mushroom pie. When we moved in 1998, when New Year's Eve came I thought I had lost the recipe, but I finally found it last spring in a box of old magazines that I had in the basement. It was a favorite and now I can finally make it again. a big slice is 5 pts. But we have it as part of a buffet, so the typical slice is probably half that.
Es, your recipes sound fantastic. Both the low fat cheesecake and the other one too. I love coconut and spices.
Whew, I hope I can get back on track, I start on Monday.
Love ya's

I hope everyone is home resting.
Sandy, Wow a 1993 recipe. Their recipes are so good. Hope you had a nice time at the party.
I was in bed by 12:30. Pete caught a cold. My oldest sister always leaves early. Dave & his girlfriend left right after 12. This is their first New Years together. I think she's "the one".
Monday will be my first time trying Core. I'm going shopping tomorrow.

Happy New Year! :hat:
We had a nice evening w/my bro. and sil. Didn't go to bed till 3 a.m....so needless to say, today we're lazing around! Jess and Joey both had their own plans, but each called at midnight, so I was happy about that. Joe and I are still in our jammies, and I think we'll stay that way all day. I've been fighting a cold for about a week, and today my voice appears to be going. Don't feel ill though, it's just more of a nuisance thing.
I'm kind of glad to put 2004 behind us...it had its highs and lows. We did a bit of reflecting last night about what the year brought, and took away. Am looking forward to a new year.
I hope all of you enjoy a year of peace, good health, prosperity and that you are surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Jen, staying in your PJ's is so cool. We only do that once a year. Pete said his cold has him feeling weak so we went out & rented movies. I'm in my nightgown just chillin. Today was a beautiful day. It felt like Spring. I made chicken breast with vegetables today. I have to eat light after all the junk I put in my body. Monday is THE DAY to start over. I can't quit. Let's start a challenge for the New Year. A Valentines Day challenge?
Linda & Zoe we miss you. Stop by & say hi.
Terri, hope to hear from you soon.
Well ladies, enjoy your evening.

Good Morning Buddies:wave:
Mike and I are heading out to see a Patriots Football game today. He is the biggest sports fan (mostly football and baseball, but he follows everything).
I will have fun just enjoying his enthusiasm. We have to really bundle up, I think it was 13 degrees overnight, and the highs will be in the 30's.
Es, I really enjoyed eating all the outrageous, fun stuff over the holidays. I am ready for a fresh start on core tomorrow morning. I bought shredded wheat and oatmeal, broccoli, zucchini, and whole wheat pasta. But I don't plan to eat them all at one sitting
What is on your shopping list?
Jen, I hope everyone is healthy and the colds are on the way out. We made it through the holidays in one piece. Back to work tomorrow for all?
Hope you can all check in soon and everyone is well: Terri, Dianne, Ruth, Zoe, Janie and Linda

Hello:wave:
Holidays are over.(whew) Back to work tomorrow. It's been really quiet at work. There's going to be 5 layoffs. I'm safe since I've been there so long but there are going to be some changes. I might have to work out of 2 offices.
:( Whatever it takes.
Sandy, have fun at the football game. :cheer: It's nice & sunny:sunny: here today. Kind of cold but nice. I'm going food shopping. I'm buying some lean cuisines, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, vegetables, fruit, tuna & chicken. I'll make some more of the WW cheesecake in case I really can't take it. The lean cuisines are for lunch. I'll use pts from flex. We have 35 but I'll use them wisely. I plan to exercise at least 3 days. I haven't exercised in a while. :sumo:
Have a great day!

Happy New Year my buddies!
We spent New Year's Eve at Darren & Lizettes (right next door - so cool not to have to get on the highway to get back home!). We had fun - they have a dvd game of family feud which we played - the only problem is you really do FEUD! OMG, we had to all calm down  Monica and the kids (Jen, yes Monica is my DIL - she & my son Steven (Florida) are separated :( ) were here until yesterday and we drove them back to Philadelphia.
Well, looks like we're all up for a fresh start - I'll be leaving in 20 mins for my first ww meeting of the new year - I think its probably been 7-8 mos. since I've been to ww. I weighed myself on monica's scale yesterday and thought OMG - I'd better stop this madness now! Then I came home and started reading my People magazine and it had an article about some people who lost weight and how they did it. Well I read about 2 sisters who weighed 337 and 308 and they showed the before and after pictures. They both now weigh 157 lbs and they did it with ww! So, I felt like that was the perfect article to have read to get me jump started ;) If they could lose 183 lbs./153 lbs. then I can definitely lose 25 don't ya think? :o
Anyway, I'm up for the challenge also. As soon as I leave the meeting, I'm going to get my "supplies" for work, home, etc.
Let's do this my friends! We can support each other as always.
Talk to you's later, have a great day everyone!

It's good to hear that we're all heading in the right direction. As soon as Joe gets out of the shower we're heading to the grocery store to stock up on the good stuff. I vowed to bring a veggie tray and bottled water to work for everyone tomorrow.....the dept. has been loaded with sweets every day since Thanksgiving! Since I'm still battling this cold, I'm going to pick up a pre-made tray, however, as I don't think it's right to cut, slice and chop for everyone else when I may be contagious.
I got on the scale and was ready to shoot myself. I know I've been slowly gaining over the last year......and now I'm facing it. :crossed: Here's to a year of eating right and exercising for us all.
Sandy,
hope you have a great time at the game!
Es,
thank goodness you don't have to worry about a layoff. Good luck.
Dianne,
that article in People is just what we need to hear right now. I'll check it out at the store.

Hi! I'm so happy to find this thread. This forum isn't the easiest to find my way around, or perhaps it's me. :?:
Anyway, I'm Kim. I'm 42 (that sounds so unreal), Mom to one, 80 lbs overweight. The only way I've ever successfully lost weight before was moving to Hawaii and getting active, or WW. Since moving back to HI is out of the question for now :( I need to get back on the program. I LOVE flex points as the easiest way to get me to eat something is to tell me I can't! I got all my materials out and am off to the store when the baby (15 mos old) wakes up to stock up. I have most of the garbage out of the house, will take the rest to work tomorrow for all those skinny guys to eat. I have to look for a meeting I can actually get to.
I'm also working Dr. Phil's 7 keys for the mental/emotional angle, but his food plan is a little too harsh for me. For exercise, I belong to Ladies workout express - a curves-type 30 min circuit, and the above-mentioned baby keeps me hopping. I haven't been to LWE since Nov 1st. I had a miscarriage and starting smoking again, quit working out and started eating with abandon all within a week.
Since I'm also quitting smoking tomorrow, my plan is to log all my food this week, eat good stuff, and come up with my own point range. What do you think of that idea? I have quit smoking many times, the last time for 3 months. I believe according to WW, I should be around 28 pts right now.
I hope to get to know you all better. How do you keep up with the group? I subscribed to the thread, which might help. How often does it change?
Thanks much!
Kim,
Welcome! It's been a bit quiet in here lately, but I'm sure we'll hear from the others now that the holidays have come and gone. They're all very friendly and supportive, a wonderful group.
Good luck this week! Looking forward to getting to know you.

Good morning! :coffee:
I am new to the WW boards. My name is Tina and I am 44. I am married and have a teenage daughter. I have been on WW for a year now. Slow and steady! I had a rough holiday with family in town and I did the cooking. Anyway, a new year and I'm ready to get back on plan. I need to motivate myself to get more exercise in. I am a teacher and will be going back tomorrow (actually today is a workday, but DD is having all her wisdom teeth removed today so...) plus I am taking a night class a couple of days a week at the local college so I will have to get exercise in when I can. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

Welcome Kim and Tina, I always feel this is such a great time of year to get started together, we are in good company, and no one is likely to offer us the treats like they did all of last month.
My name is Sandy, I am 52, married to Mike for 28 years. We have two sons, Dave who is 23 and graduating college, and Greg, who is almost 18 and is graduating high school, and in the midst of applying to college. This forum is such a great place for WW support. We also have built friendships that go beyond WW for all kinds of support that we give each other. I hope that we all make 2005 the year where we reach for our goals and stay motivated to achieve them.

Hi Girls,
Tina, welcome:) I hate driving on icy roads! I'm very lucky to have a boss that understands. Right away she knows I won't be in. As a matter a fact that's what we're supposed to be getting tomorrow. I'm 50 years old. I have a 33 year old son. I've been married 24 years to a great guy. I'm a legal secretary. I've been a WW since the 80's. You're going to like it here.

Es - thanks for the welcome! I lived in Conn. for a few years. I remember icy roads! I learned to drive on them. Down here in TX when it's icy (which in Houston is almost never ;) ) I stay off the roads. Hope you are feeling better. Colds are not fun. Being a teacher, I get them once or twice a year. Good morning everyone:
Es, sorry to hear you're not feeling well - take care of yourself amiga. The house is coming along well after some initial problems, ie., the upstairs bathroom stall was leaking and coming down in slow trickles into the living room. We had to have someone make a hole in the ceiling and put in a new pipe. So then, naturally, someone had to come and fix the hole and we'll have to paint. But I love it - and anyone who comes to visit remarks on how comfortable it is - I guess they're comparing it to the "box" we lived in in Howard Beach  We have a brand spanking new dishwasher to replace the old one that was already there - believe it or not, its my first dishwasher ever and I haven't used it yet - I think I'm afraid of it  Actually, I just forget its there.
Well, this is my 4th day on ww and so far so good. I've used 4 flex points every night so far, but that's not too bad. Hopefully, as I get used to less food, I won't have to use all my flex points, but I'm sure glad they are there for me right now. I've been exercising every night with the new ww dvd they gave out. Its light intensity, but when you haven't done exercise in months, it doesn't feel so light :p
How is everyone doing? Are we having a Valentine's challenge? What is the challenge, ie, how many lbs by VD? I remember someone mentioning it, but this is probably the first time I'm up for the challenge so now I'll need the details :dizzy:
Hi Jen, Terri, Sandy, Ruthie, Janie, Tina, and Kim. Linda - hope you're fully recovered and can come in and say hi - I miss you - and you too ZoeGirl!

Dianne, good going getting started right away!:cheer:
I am working my way back into the program this week. I vacuum sealed the leftover cookie dough yesterday with my food saver. I did so much baking over the holidays. We went to 2 family parties, 2 friend parties, and out to restaurants 3 times. We were lucky to stay healthy and we had fun this year. I am definitely back on track as of yesterday and will weigh in on Friday and find out the damages over the past 3 weeks. My challenge to myself is to lose 10 lbs by VD, but I am a really slow loser, so I will be delighted with 6lb.
I'll check in again later today.

I'm back - someone sent this to me - its sad, but beautiful at the same time. Thought I'd share it with you:
Ladies -- This is long and it's not a joke but it really is worth reading.
As she stood in front of her 5th grade class on the very first day of school, she told the children an untruth. Like most teachers, she looked at her
students and said that she loved them all the same. However, that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard.
Mrs. Thompson had watched Teddy the year before and noticed that he did
not play well with the other children, that his clothes were messy and that he
constantly needed a bath. In addition, Teddy could be unpleasant. It got to the point where Mrs. Thompson would actually take delight in marking his papers with a broad red pen, making bold X's and then putting a big "F" at the top of his papers.
At the school where Mrs. Thompson taught, she was required to review each child's past records and she put Teddy's off until last. However, when
she reviewed his file, she was in for a surprise.
Teddy's first grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is a bright child with a ready laugh. He does his work neatly and has good manners... he is a joy to be
around.."
His second grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is an excellent student, well
liked by his classmates, but he is troubled because his mother has a terminal
illness and life at home must be a struggle."
His third grade teacher wrote, "His mother's death has been hard on him.
He tries to do his best, but his father doesn't show much interest, and his
home life will soon affect him if some steps aren't taken."
Teddy's fourth grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is withdrawn and doesn't show
much interest in school. He doesn't have many friends and he sometimes
sleeps in class."
By now, Mrs. Thompson realized the problem and she was ashamed of
herself. She felt even worse when her students brought her Christmas presents, wrapped in beautiful ribbons and bright paper, except for Teddy's. His present was clumsily wrapped in the heavy, brown paper that he got from a grocery bag. Mrs. Thompson took pains to open it in the middle of the other presents. Some of the children started to laugh when she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stones missing, and a bottle that was one-quarter full of perfume. But she stifled the children's laughter when she exclaimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on her wrist. Teddy Stoddard stayed after school that day just long enough to say, "Mrs. Thompson, today you smelled just like my Mom used to."
After the children left, she cried for at least an hour. On that very day, she quit teaching reading, writing and arithmetic. Instead, she began to
teach children. Mrs. Thompson paid particular attention to Teddy. As she
worked with him, his mind seemed to come alive. The more she encouraged him, the faster he responded. By the end of the year, Teddy had become one of the smartest children in the class and, despite her lie that she would love all the children the same, Teddy became one of her "teacher's pets.."
A year later, she found a note under her door, from Teddy, telling her
that she was the best teacher he ever had in his whole life.
Six years went by before she got another note from Teddy. He then wrote
that he had finished high school, third in his class, and she was still the best
teacher he ever had in life.
Four years after that, she got another letter, saying that while things
had been tough at times, he'd stayed in school, had stuck with it, and would soon graduate from college with the highest of honors. He assured Mrs.
Thompson that she was still the best and favorite teacher he had ever had in his whole life.
Then four more years passed and yet another letter came. This time he
explained that after he got his bachelor's degree, he decided to go a little
further. The letter explained that she was still the best and favorite teacher he ever had. But now his name was a little longer.... The letter was signed,
Theodore F. Stoddard, MD.
The story does not end there. You see, there was yet another letter that
spring. Teddy said he had met this girl and was going to be married. He
explained that his father had died a couple of years ago and he was wondering if Mrs. Thompson might agree to sit at the wedding in the place that was usually reserved for the mother of the groom. Of course, Mrs. Thompson did. And guess what? She wore that bracelet, the one with several rhinestones missing. Moreover, she made sure she was wearing the perfume that Teddy remembered his mother wearing on their last Christmas together.
They hugged each other, and Dr. Stoddard whispered in Mrs. Thompson's
ear, "Thank you Mrs. Thompson for believing in me. Thank you so much for
making me feel important and showing me that I could make a difference."
Mrs. Thompson, with tears in her eyes, whispered back. She said, "Teddy,
you have it all wrong. You were the one who taught me that I could make a
difference. I didn't know how to teach until I met you."
(For you that don't know, Teddy Stoddard is the Dr. at Iowa Methodist in
Des Moines that has the Stoddard Cancer Wing.)
Hugs,
Dianne

Hi everyone,
I've been fighting this cold for what seems like forever, even though I know it's only been a week. But you're right, Dianne, they're just icky..I hate the tissues, and the germs.
We were socked with lots of snow yesterday and today! Yesterday we received about 6 inches, then another 5 or 6 overnight last night. I won't let Joe shovel, due to his heart attack, even tho he insists his dr. says he has no restrictions, but yet he has not mentioned the words "snow shovelling" to the dr. , in which case I know the dr. would say absolutely not!
So, Joe said (back in August) that he would buy a new snowblower, cause ours is 20 years old and never wants to start.....but of course, he never got around to it...
So Jen is out there doing the stinking shovelling, and she is not happy, let me tell you! Especially when I have to get out there at 5 a.m. to do it, and the village plows the street, there's a huge pile of hard icy crusty snow at the end of the driveway.....oh well, I could go on and on but you get my drift (ouch! bad play on words).
After a week of no sweets, shovelling, and snacking on veggies instead of chips, etc., I had better show a loss!
Here's to a successful Valentines' Day challenge for us all
~Jen
p.s.....Es, hope you feel better!

Hi Buddies:wave:
Jen, you guys need to get a snowthrower as soon as you can! I don't like to have my friend out there fighting a cold and crusty snow at the same time, even if it burns calories. I hope you have had a good week otherwise. :bravo: for snackin on veggies. It is so hard to get started right away after the holidays.
Dianne, That story is so inspiring for teachers, and everyone else too. I have to admit it made me teary eyed too.
Es, I would be so afraid to cut Mike's hair, are you really going to do Pete's? When the kids were little we had a haircutting book and I used to trim their hair.
I really don't know about a quantity of pounds for the challenge. What I really want to do is build good habits, and stay focused for the duration of our challenge. I went back to WW to find out the damages over the holidays. It wasn't too bad, I was up 1.6lbs. :o I think I minimized the effects of all the partying because I was walking on our treadmill practically every day.
By the way Greg has another part in the High school musical this year. He will be playing Jack in Stephen Sondheim's "Into the Woods". I think he is managing his depression a lot better, still on meds, still seeing a counselor for now.
Terri, how are you? I hope your holidays were ok, even with the so recent loss of your dad.
Hi to the rest of the gang, we miss you all, drop in when you can.

To get the weight tracker bar added to your posts, under "User CP" go to "edit signature" and it will walk you through it.
That's cool about Pete learning to cook! I used to give the guys their haircuts for years. Now Joe goes to BoRics and gets a cleaner job than I could do, as I never had a clippers, just used a scissors. Plus he's in and out in no time.
Thanks for the link to the Discovery challenge. There's a lot of good reading and info there. Every bit helps.
Sandy,
I think you did a very good job over the holidays, that's not too bad of a gain. Your outlook makes so much sense, it's something we should all strive for.
Glad to hear Greg is making progress. How great that he's involved in another production.
Am coming back to edit this, since I just got off the scale. :D In addition to cutting down and being more aware of what I eat, that shovelling paid off, as I'm down 3 lbs. for this first week. My goal for the Valentine's Day Challenge is to post 15 hours on the treadmill. That's a minimum of 1/2 hour each day, and hopefully will help jump start me into a regular exercise routine.
Hi  to everyone!

Hi ,
I'm new to this board and after several days of looking I finally found you'all. My name is Susan and I'm 43 years old and approx. 43 pounds overweight. Done the ww things several times and was successful. Would really like to try the old freedom plan where you ate so many servings. I did the points thing back in 98 and made lifetime.I have 2 sons aged 14 and 12 (testosterone poisoning has hit). They both play recreational ice hockey and they each play for their school team. A daughter aged 7 does ballet and is a figure skater. I figured if you can't beat 'em join 'em so I started skating about 3 years ago. My husband is 2 years younger and was a confirmed bachelor 'til he met me and the boys. He just sits back and weathers the crazies around here. Hope to start some kind of ww tomorrow, not sure which way to go. Any opinions about which program, freedom or points? Did the Atkins thing and that's just plain crazy. I don't feel it is as healthy either.
Hopefullly tomorrow will be successful.

Hi Susan,
Good luck on your fresh start. WW is the only program my dr. recommends to her patients. I prefer to simply count points and stay within my range. I don't even remember what that plan is called  I tend to muck things up a bit if given too many choices or too much freedom.
HI  to everyone...Es,Terri, Dianne, Zoe, Ruth, Sandy, Janie, Linda, Kim, Tina....don't be a stranger, stop in and say hello!

Good morning buddies:
Welcome Susan! I'm Dianne. You'll like it here - I've made some really good friends.
Just popping in to say I lost 3.6 lbs. my first week back to ww. very pleased with that since I know the first week is always the best. I feel that's a good start for me, anyway.
:bravo: Jen on your loss!!! Great job.
Hi Es, Terri, Ruthie, Sandy, Kim, Tina (my, but we are a-growin'! - so cool).
Linda, Zoe, Janie - I miss you guys! Hope you're all well. Hope I didn't leave anyone out. I'll be back later to respond better to the posts.

My husband sits across the room from me eating ice cream!!!!!!!! Had a really good day. Got in most of my waters, ate fruit and veggies, proteins. The only junk today is the popcorn I'm getting ready to pop. Thanks for the welcome. Ice hockey game tonight, so proud I only had a coffee and not the rink fries. (they're just one of the temptations)

Hello,
Susan, popcorn is OK. As long as it's at least 94% fat free. Don't look at your hubby when he's eating ice cream. Grab something to read. I always keep health & fitness magazines around. This month's People magazine has lots of successes & they are all Weight Watchers. Be strong.:strong:
Have to get ready for work.
Have a nice day:)

Dianne, Es, and Jen, you all got such a great start. Weigh to go!
I am a little out of synch with you as my weigh in day is Fridays :crossed: Wish me luck, I am using my treadmill everyday, but I think with all the cooking I do that I am not that great on portion control. If I am not pleased with my results this Friday, I think that I will try using Lean Cuisines or Smart Ones for lunches next week.
Welcome Susan, This is a great place for support and friendship. Make sure that you have treats that are special and in your plan, you don't want to feel deprived. It sounds as if you are doing an exchange plan instead of points. I used to have pretty good success with that, but right now I am trying to follow WW Core.
We miss you Terri, Ruth, Zoe, Janie and all our newbies, check in soon.
Hugs to all,

Es,
Popcorn is good, 100% hot air popped. The bread is my downfall and so I'll save as many as possible to eat in the evening when its the hardest. As for my hands, well, I've taken up crocheting again so I don't snack. I tend to snack when I read so I had to cut it out. I'm a read-a-holic. Is the People the January issue??? Sandy, thanks for the welcome. So far so good today.

Hi everyone!
I didn't read the posts yet but I will this week. I promise. I am to much of a nibsh** not to.
We got back this past weekend. We had to drive in that horrible ice storm that hit Ohio the few days before Christmas. It usually takes us 8 hours and it took us 14.
The next morning we woke at my sister's house with no electricity or water. So we had to leave for the Valley ( 2.5 hrs. away) a day early. That was another great ride. :sarcasm: The roads were horrendous.
The day after Christmas I got to go Heinz Field in Pittsburgh and watch my Steelers play against the Ravens. We had Club Seats. It was awesome!!!!!!
I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas!
Where did ya get all the measure gifs? Too cute. Can't wait to read.
I did see a newbie. Hi Susan. I am Terri. I was in Ohio for a few weeks for the Holidays. Can't wait to get to know you.
Missed y'all.
Terri
P.S. We brought my mom's kitten that she found back to Alabama with us. He is 7 mos. old and his name is Bosco. Tanner is scared of him.

Hi Terri,
Welcome back, I am relieved to see you here safe and sound. We always used to travel during the holidays when we lived in the Wash DC area. It was always so special to come home to be with family, but I don't envy the harrowing parts of your trip with the ice and the traffic. I bet they so appreciated having you home. Is your family all well? Did the kids have a good Christmas vacation?
You can get a weight ticker from the 3FC signature area. I think all the tools we have at hand are so cool, we should take advantage of them together to have a really successful year.
BTW I went to a Pats game with Mike. I suppose it is not something we should chat about with eachother. :sssh:
I am on my way out to mail Greg's college apps and to the gym. I will check in tonight.

Sandy,
Thanks. You are right we shouldn't talk about the Pats and Steelers. Hopefully they will play each other for the AFC championship. I know Roethlisberger and Brady are good but I want Peyton Manning out of there. We have to get passed the Jets too.
The kids had a great Christmas. We went to 7 Springs in Pennsylvania to tube. We had a great time. It was sad for them at first to go into Memaw's house because of my dad's passing but Memaw came through and they had a lot of fun.
My mom, Bruce and sister got sick with sore throats, body aches etc... Bruce's turned into Bronchitis and it still hasn't gone away and Brittany and Bradley are getting it now. Can't wait for my turn.
Hope you had a fun time at the gym. How was your Christmas? I haven't read the posts yet. :o
I forget how to get to the signature area and what to do. Can someone help?

Good morning chickies!
Terri - Welcome back - glad you arrived safe and sound - your trip home sounds like a nightmare! Too funny about Tanner and the kitten - you should video tape them  Okay, to get the signature weight tracker - after you click on "forum" to get in - click on the "User CP" (top left hand corner), then click on "edit signature" - you'll see the picture of the signature weight tracker - just click on that and it will guide you through the process. You can either choose to show your weight or just the pounds you wish to lose.
Last night I had to watch Joseph & Michael for about an hour and at 8:00 p.m. I told them it was time for my exercise and they could join me. Well, Michael (6 year old) gave up pretty quickly, but Joseph (7) really got into it and when Darren came to pick them up, he said "Dad, Papa Dianne does exercise at 8:00 every night, can I come here and do it with her" :fr: :p . His Dad said he didn't think that was such a good idea, so this little guy says, well, then can we burn her dvd and make a copy for us  Technically intelligent already, :twirly: - I don't even know how to use this stupid burner myself and it was my birthday present from my son, Steven  Anyway, when Joseph got home his mom told me that he ran upstairs to weigh himself, he thought he lost weight from exercising one time  He also told her to look at his profile, cause his stomach went down a little  He's too funny!
Well, gotta get back to work - hope everyone has a great day and I'll talk to you's later. Hello amiga, Jen, Ruthie, Sandy, Susan, Kim, Tina (we do have a Tina, right? - Sorry, I'm confused) ZoeGirl, Janie and Linda (hope I didn't leave anyone out! or put anyone extra in :dizzy: )

I JUST READ ALL THE POSTS ON THIS THREAD.
Sorry I had the caps lock on. I am not yelling. Just to lazy to retype that.
Hi to Kim & Tina. Are you still with us?
Susan,
Hi! I am Terri and I am 45 years old. I have been married to Bruce for 22 years. I have 3 great kids, Brittany (18), Brandon (13) and Bradley (11). We have a 4 yr. old mix named Tanner and a new 7 mo. old kitty named Bosco.
I am a lifer from 85' and I came back to WW in 2000 and lost 60 by 2001. I have been up and down in the 130's but I promised I wouldn't go over or at least stay above 140. I want to be 125. That is my personal goal. I am only 5'2" so that would be a good weight I think. My WW goal is 135.
Congrats on all the losses guys.
I gained about 4 over the 2 weeks which is better than the 12 I have gained in Christmases past. I retain water well. I did not exercise at all. It was to bad out there and I didn't take the energy to be creative in my mom's house with no exercise equipment at all. I am starting over on Saturday. I have been maintaining since I got home. Don't want to shock my system.
I hope y'all are feeling better. I am down and out right now. No exercise for at least a few days as I see it. I can't wait to get back into it. I feel so much better when I do.
Luv ya,

Kim, :bravo: woohoo!! Four lbs is a great start.
Terri, sorry to hear that you guys are suffering with the flu. Get well soon! It looks like Mike has brought it home too, fool that I am I still kiss him, so I suppose that I may be next.
Susan, I use a treadmill at home 2-3 times a week and go the to gym and use the stationary bike and the weights 2-3 times also. This much exercise is new to me and I hope I can keep it up! I am aiming to exercise 5 days a week.
Dianne, That Joseph sounds like a hot ticket! I will have to tell you about our nephew Evan some time. He is a blast too.
Well off to bed, weigh in tomorrow.

Hi All,
Sandy - thanks for the bravo!
Terri, Are you and yours all better yet? I hope so, I hate the flu, it's an icky thing!
Susan - When I'm working out I go to Ladies Workout Express (circuit training like Curves) 3-4 times a week and try to take a couple long walks on the weekend. I went steadily for about 3 months last fall and really really saw a difference.
Dianne - Joseph sounds like a riot!
I am staying OP today thus far, but seem very hungry. I know it will take a while to break the habit of snacking at my desk, so I just try to hang on.

Hi everyone:
Kim - Congrats on the 4 lbs. lost - great job!
Susan - I'm doing the new ww dvd they gave out the first week in Jan. I also do Walk Away the Pounds videos and when the weather is good, I lovvvvvvvvve to walk! Walking is my favorite form of exercise. I just ordered Pilates by Leslie Sansone (hoping she'll be easy on me, :D ). I've heard so much about pilates and the tape was cheap so I figured I'll give it a try. I don't do pain though, so if it hurts, I'll give it away
So far this week I've exercised 4 nights in a row and plan on doing it tonight and tomorrow. Sunday is my wi day. I'm hoping for a loss of at least 1.4 so I can be down 5 lbs. and get my little red ribbon :smug: But, I'll be happy with whatever I lose (maybe not THRILLED, but happy :p ).
Terri - Sorry to hear you guys are all sick. Hope you all get better quick. Tanner sounds so cute!
Sandy - Sounds like you're really doing great with the exercising :bravo:
Tomorrow I have Casey's mom's 50th birthday party in a restaurant - have to be careful since my wi is sunday - but I still have about 15 flex points left so I guess that will work out okay. I'll be sure to exercise when I get home!
Hi Jen, Es, Ruthie, Linda, ZoeGirl, Janie, Tina (is there a Tina or not???) - Maybe she's my "imaginary friend"
Have a great, looonnng weekend everyone. Is everyone off on Monday for MLK's birthday? I'll try and get back in over the weekend.

Kim, I'm a member of Curves. I haven't been there in a while. Ladies Express is cheaper. If I would have known that I would have joined there instead. I do the Firm tapes & walking. I used to exercise alot. I don't know what happened. I guess I got lazy. :( Good loss. WOW 4 lbs. That's great!

Great loss ! :cp: You're doing an excellent job. I no longer eat at my 'puter desk, it's too easy to mindlessly munch. I've been eating every meal at the kitchen table.
Susan,
The ice skating is certainly a great form of exercise! Good for you :dancer:
Terri,
Welcome home! Sounds like you had a good visit in spite of the very seasonal weather. I was worried when we didn't hear from you....you'll never be able to leave this place! Sorry to hear the flu has hit your family, it's not fun. This year I got a flu shot for the first time ever. It was free at work ;) and I'm now in the at risk group since I'm over 50 :(
Dianne,
That grandson sounds too precious! What a quick wit, and deep thinker. You're doing so well with the exercise! Keep up the good work. I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever loss you post on Sunday.
Es,
Have a good visit with David. I know what that non-exercise rut feels like. It's not like you, however, to not be working out. Anything wrong? :?:
We're in a cold snap here...it was only 6 degrees this morning, with a wind chill of -12 :yikes: Now that the sun has gone down, it seems even colder.
Have a great weekend, everyone. We'll have the boys here overnight tomorrow, after an evening of games at Joey's place with them  I can't wait, naturally!

Hi all,
You put me to shame with all the workouts. I can't make it to curves because they don't stay open late enough. Most nights I don't exercise until 8:00 and some I don't get to because too many of the kids need help with homework. Did I mention I'm a teacher and commute 45 min. to work? All the kids go with me and attend school in the district where I teach. I leave at approx. 7:10 in the morning and get home between 5 and 6 in the evening. One child is ADHD and sometimes needs a lot of me sitting beside him and saying get it done. I thought I was doing wonderful walking the dog 4-6 nights and ice skating. Did I mention the dog is an English Setter and hyped? She doesn't know the word walk, it's more of a trot. I am very interested in the WW video, Diane. I guess you can only get it going to meetings. I hear they have changed the way that works. Used to be lifetimers could just weigh in and pay the price of the meeting. What other videos are out there? Any suggestions??

Hi Craftymom,
Welcome,
You would be amazed at how following a reasonable diet will put the blood sugars in control. I have found by watching what I eat and following a plan that I feel much better. Good luck with the endeavor. Sometimes I believe in the AA saying, "take it one day at a time!!" Oh and I believe this is a pretty new thread. I'm Susan and 43 for a few more months. I weigh 160 (I'm only 4'11"). I have been skinny before, but dealing with the deaths of my mom, grandmother (within 15 months of my mom), new boss, the new work site, I have just begun to become unstressed enough to change lifestyle again. (Trying to take the time to count what goes in my mouth).

Hi Girls:wave:
Welcome to our group Craftymom. Prayer always works. I'm 50 years old. Been married for 24 years to a great man named Pete. I have a 33 year old son, David. I have 2 dogs that are my kids, Sammy a Pug, & Susie a chihuahua. I'm a legal secretary & have been a weight watcher practically all my life. Trying to lose weight has always been a challenge. Working out is what has helped me so I've maintained but have become quite lazy lately. I'm back on track. I have to lose 30 lbs. Pete is a diabetic & my sugar is borderline so I have to watch my carbs. If you lose 10% of your weight your sugar will come down.
Susan, I take One Day at a Time. If I look at the big picture I'll throw in the towel. We're going to do this right? I have an extra DVD. If you want me to mail it to you let me know. I'll send you my email in a private message.
Jen, about working out - it seems since I started working full-time I don't have enough time. I know it sounds like an excuse but weekends is the only time I have with Pete since he's been on the night shift. I have to find a way to at least get 3 days in. I have to cause if not my weight lose will be super slow. But thanks for asking my friend. ;)
Terri, I hope you & the fam are feeling better. Sending a big hug to all of you & REAL BIG hug to Brit. :grouphug:
Amiga, I have a pilates DVD. Holly molly:yikes: I tried it & was sore for days! You wouldn't think because it was pretty easy. I was sore especially around my abs. It was PILATES FOR DUMMIES! It felt great.
Well, let me start straightening up around here.
Have a great day everybody.

Hi Craftymom and welcome!
We are actually an "old" group/thread...been here since 1999. It's great to see new faces and gain motivation by reading your messages.
I can identify with the issue of weight affecting our health. Lately, with being the highest weight I've ever been, I've been having knee problems. I know it's due to being out of shape and carrying this weight around.
With the new year brings a new resolve to take better care of myself.
I wish you luck and strength.
For all the newbies....I'm 51, married to Joe for 33 years; we have one daughter,30, who's married, with two boys, 9 and 4  and one son, 26, who's single. Born and raised in Chicago, now live in burb NW of the city. I love to garden, swim, read, and mainly enjoy times at home with my family. After working retail for 24 years, I took almost 4 years off and loved being at home. I took a job last year in a neighboring town, working as a customer service rep. in their village hall. I love the job and am shocked to find it's almost a year already that I've been there.
I am the couch potato of this group! Hate to exercise, but am forcing myself to walk on a daily basis.
As you can see by my weight tracker in my signature, I've got lots to lose....but no matter how much we need to lose, we still lose it the same way, one pound at a time. I can't let myself despair over where I'm at, but rather look at where I'm headed.
Susan,
Your days are full! I think it's great that you find the time to skate and get those walks in with the dog. Any bit helps, you shouldn't sell yourself short.

~Jen

Jen,
Peyton Manning is evil. Just kidding.
Susan,
The WW DVD is great. I like the high intensity. It seems easier than the moderate. I am a lifer. Normally our meetings are $11 and I could go in anytime and weigh but I signed a paper stating that if I am 2 pounds above goal I have to pay $8.50 a meeting and pay for any missed meetings. That is until I get back within 2 pounds.
Craftymom,
Good luck. 10% will definitely help. Take it 5 lbs. at a time. We are here for you.
Es,
What is Pilates exactly?
Britts says hi. She took her youngest brother out to a movie and dinner. The other boy is staying and watching the Steelers.
We are ordering pizza for the game. I have allotted 2 pieces for myself.

Terri,
As I write this, the Steelers are tied with NY. I really do hope the Steelers win it, I think they deserve it. As for my Bears..... :( hope springs eternal! lol
Es,
You're right about working the full time hours. It's a huge chunk of our time, no, our lives, isn't it? I really like my job, but am still wanting to be at home, but then again, doesn't everyone? My hours change each month; this month I'm on the 8 to 4 shift, which makes it a bit easier to do things, since I'm home by 4:25. I'm glad I work closer to home now, used to be a 20 mile drive, now it's only 6 :D
We're off to Joey's for the evening. Haven't seen the boys since, I think, Christmas. Am attaching a photo of them from then.
later,
~Jen

Jen, the boys are so cute. I work the 8 to 4 shift. I get home around 4:20 but then I cook. By the time I'm done I don't have much time to do anything. Oh well:shrug: Gotta do the best we can. Have fun with the boys.
Terri, pilates is just like yoga. Lots of stretching. It's very popular now. They have classes in all the gyms. I decided to buy a video since I'm a beginner.
Have a good night my friends.
Hugs,

Hi Everyone,
Wow, we are growing in numbers! More friends and more support. This is our year!
Welcome Craftymom, we are a great place to build friendships and give and get support. Check in every day or even a few times a day. Getting started and changing a lifetime of habits is a lot of work, and we are all in the same boat, but perhaps in different places on our journeys. I am also 52, married for 28 years and have 2 sons, Dave who is 23 and Greg who is almost 18. Both of them live at home right now, but transitions are coming.
I was disappointed in my results at the scale this week. I lost 1 lb. and was hoping for more with all that exercise. I think tomorrow I will go off to the market for the zero-pt soup ingredients and some Lean Cuisines. I think that the core plan is great, but that I am probably too kind to myself portionwise.
The only reason that I have the time to exercise right now is because I am between work assignments. I will probably be busy again starting mid February.
Jen, by the way my knees are terrible, I feel better using a stationary bike instead of the treadmill. I am ever hopeful that some weightloss will help.
Terri, what a game!!!
We are into our winter schedule. Greg is rehearsing for 2 plays at once. One is for the Massachusetts Drama Guild competition and the other is the high school spring musical. Mike and I are on the parental crew. He is helping to build the sets and I am working with the costumers, "The Sew and Sews." I am really happy to be involved again, especially after how last year went.
Hugs to all,
Sandy

Jen,
Cute boys!!! Just wait until they get to the preteen and teen years!!! I always have girls showing up at my door, calling for Matt or Danny, and I even found one this summer hiding behind a bush in front of my house. Girls are very forward. I even had a grown woman tell me how handsome my boys are. Their friend's moms even just love them. Just wait, your day will come.
To ALL:
Sounds like everyone is just as crunched for time as I am. Trying to find time to fit exercise in. Have a good Sunday!!!!!

Hi buddies,
Sandy, you sound just like me - I too was disappointed with my wi yesterday - I lost 1 lb. and expected more because I exercised 5 days out of 7. But as I have experienced in the past, sometimes, the payoff in weight loss does'nt show up until the following week. I think I was mainly disappointed because I was .4 away from the 5 lbs . loss and the red ribbon  But a pound is a pound is a pound and I'm now down 4.6 lbs. so I'm really okay with that. I'm sure I'll get my ribbon next week.
Crafts - Welcome to our group - you'll like it here. Lots of encouragement and support.
Jen - the boys are so cute and I can't believe how much they've grown. Very handsome guys!
Es - cool that you're committing to exercise those 3 days and maybe more if possible. What I've been doing with the ww is committing myself to something each week. Like the first week committed myself to tracking (since I hate it) and so I made sure I tracked the whole week. Last week it was exercising, now this week I'm committing to both. Alana's doing it with me also - I got her a book and some trackers. She leaves this Sunday coming so she'll have the materials with her and can do it on her own.
She was supposed to leave yesterday to visit with her brother in Florida but when we got to the airport, she had a panic attack and didn't want to get on the plane by herself. She felt terrible about disappointing Steven, but we told her it was okay, she had to go with her feelings. I felt so bad for her - we tried to calm her fears, but then I thought about, God forbid something happens and she didn't want to go and we talked her into it :( That would be terrible. Her relief when we canceled the flight was so obvious.
Well, can't stay long - I'm babysitting "the Jess" :smug: She's my sweetie! Last week at dinner, she told Alana they forgot to say a prayer, so Alana told her to go ahead and say it. So she God Blessed her parents, siblings, etc. and then she said "God Bless the furniture and the windows" Alana cracked up laughing and then Jess got embarrassed. She is too cute!
Hi to Terri, Susan, Kim, Tina, Janie, Ruthie and ZoeGirl. Have a great Monday everyone! Talk to you's soon.
Village hall was closed for the holiday today but we still worked..staff meetings, TONS of food, cleaning out files, rearranging our office, etc. It was a productive day, and I got out early at 3 p.m., which was nice.
Everyone is doing very well with their re-commitment and exercising. Keep up the good work!
~Jen

Hi girls and hello to all the newbies!
I'm a long time member of this forum, but I seem to go awol several times a year. This is a great bunch of ladies and they give wonderful moral support.
As you all may remember, my father was diagnosed with cancer in late October, he is still with us, but this is one of the hardest things I've had to deal with. The cancer seems to be reducing in size, but daddy seems to have one complication after another. He refuses to move in with me and he went to a nursing home, but that didn't work out. So now he is living by himself at his old house. He ignors problems, then ends back up in the hospital.
Between getting older, being overweight and going through the stress of my father's illness, I have high blood pressure (I call it the family curse). Anyway, sorry to come in and rant, I just needed a sounding board.
I hope you are all doing well, I need to catch up on what is going on with everybody.
Happy New Year!
Ruth

Good morning, :flow2:
I'm having my first cup of coffee so I figured let me get in here now cause I won't get a chance till tomorrow. I'm getting Optimum Online through cablevision. They're running an offer that I couldn't refuse for 1 year. We have to unplug my computer & hook it up to cable. Ahhh, nothing like speed when logging in.
I went shopping for all healthy stuff. Bought Atkins yogurts & smoothies. WW smart ones for lunch. The low carb ones. Slimfast low carb for night snack instead of ice cream. I'm ready girls. My Walkblaster came yesterday.
Sandy & Dianne, 1 lbs loss is better than a gain. You're moving in the right direction. I weigh-in tomorrow. We, ww at work, switched to Wed. I feel fluffy so I doubt I'll see a loss. I had chinese Sat. I may be retaining water.
Ruth, so nice to hear from you. God bless your Dad. I know how stress can affect weight. I've been there many times. Keep in touch. {{hugs}}
Well, ladies, I won't be back till tomorrow.
Have a nice day.
Love,
Es
PS Susan, I'm sending that out to you today.

Good Morning Ladies
Ruth it is good to hear from you. Feel free to rant here, we have all been there too. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your dad. My dad went through a really tough time suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Do you have any options for visiting nurses or home health aides to check on your dad? They can really help monitor the elderly for the things they ignore.
Jen, your guys are so adorable. What fun you must have with them. I will have to wait for a long time to see grandkids, but in the meantime we have fun with our nieces and nephews. My Dave is the oldest of the cousin’s crowd at 23, but the 16 of them range in age from 23 down to 6 years old. The littlest one, Evan, was telling us about how he was born butt first, but came out ok!
Es, You are doing great!:cheer: I know that half the battle is planning ahead. I am trying to do the same this week. I bought my zucchini and carrots for the 0-pt soup and clipped coupons for Lean Cuisines and some Carbsmart desserts. Good luck on your weigh in tomorrow, hope you lost the water by then.
I don’t think of us as losing people permanently, I have disappeared for months at a time when under stress, but we are such a great group, we seem to renew our energy over and over, and it is great to know that this gang is and will be here.
Dianne, thanks for the encouragement about the 1lb. :bravo: to you for 4.6 in just 2 weeks.
Susan, I know what you mean about becoming unstressed. For the past 8 years I have mostly been unglued, with brief periods of less stress in between. Right now things are calm and I am trying to take full advantage of it to take care of myself for a change.
Terri, I hope you are all over the flu in your household, Mike is finally getting over his. Did you guys enjoy the game? It was kind of nerve racking, but a good outcome for the Steelers. Big match up this Sunday,I won't say any more.:tape:
Hugs to the rest of the gang: Zoe, Janie, Linda, Kim, Tina, Crafty, drop in soon.:grouphug:

Hi all,
It's been a crazy day. Had several doctor's appointments and left from work early. Of course this means finding someone to bring the kids home, since they are left in another town when I leave. It sounds like everyone is doing well. Okay, Chinese makes you retain water??? Planning ahead is the key and having the energy to fix it is over 1/2 the battle. That's why I had leftover Chinese for lunch. Just some egg drop soup and chicken and broccoli. How bad is this????
Es,
Thank you, thank you , thank you!!!!! :thanks:

Jen,
The boys are adorable. They are getting so big. I hope you have agreat time with them.
That game was a nail biter. I can't believe the Jets missed 2 field goals in the last 2 min. of the game. That never happens. You never heard such shouting in a living room. I will take the win.
Es,
Thanks for the info.
Dianne,
Congrats on the loss. Great. Look at it positively.
Jess sounds so cute. I don't blame you for not forcing her on the plane. Those panic attacks can be devastating and if something did happen...well we won't go there.
Sandy,
Great loss. 1 pound is great. Enjoy it!!!!!
That game was unbelievable. I thought that was it for sure. I would say good luck Sunday but I won't.
Enjoy the theater this year. Sounds like a lot of work but also a lot of fun.
Ruth,
I am so sorry. Please try to take care of yourself. I can only imagine how stressful that is. Come on and rant anytime. We are always here to listen.
You have so much on your plate. Try to take it easy and have some "me" time. I know that probably sounds impossible.
Well,
I have to go and get breakfast. I have 1 child home sick today. We are all feeling better and Bradley should be going back to school tomorrow.

Evening ladies,
I spent all day at the VA hospital today. I got there around 10:00 this morning and came home at 9:00. Maurice and I went to IHOP, I had only ate cereal and a banana this morning, I was starving.
Anyway, I can rest tonight with dad safely at the hospital. The first doctor that saw him today wanted to send him home. I was furious, I left the room to find his primary care doctor or nurse and pleaded with them to do something. The primary doctor spoke with the other doctor and they agreed to put him in the hospital for a few days. Daddy's legs are pouring fluid!! The doctor's call it weeping and there is a blister on one of his toes that is greenish looking in color. I couldn't believe it when the doctor told him to go home if the place on his toe got worse he could come back in they might amputate!
Okay, I'm ranting again. I'm off to bed, hope everyone is having a good week.

Hi everyone:
Ruth, I'm really sorry to hear about your dad's illness. Try and take one day at a time and try to take care of yourself too. I know that's easier said than done, but if you get run down, you won't be good for anyone. I'm really glad to hear from you though. Please know we're always here for you, so please don't worry about ranting - we can all use a good rant once in awhile
Well, I'm having a crazy day today and feeling hungry, but I'm keeping in mind that I'm finally gonna get to Applebee's tonight to try one of their ww dinners (shrimp, rice and veggies) and the chocolate cake dessert for a total of 9 pts. I've been trying to get there, but something always gets in the way.
Also, I wanted to ask you guys if you've tried the Nabisco 100 calorie pack snacks. I saw them on tv and went out and bought the oreos (for Alana), the chocolate chip and the ritz snack pack. They are soooooo good and they're only 2 pts. a bag. The box contains 6 bags and cost me $2.99. Well worth it, even though thats .50 a bag. I had a cup of tea and the chocolate chip ones and thought I'd died and gone to heaven :D. Just thought I'd bring another snack option to your attention ;) Anyone have any good low pt. snacks to recommend? I'm a "sweets" person, not so much salt & chips, etc. Also, I love the ww sundae ice cream cones - they're only 2 pts. too and delicious. OMG, I'm making myself hungry :dizzy:
Can't stay for long, but wanted to say hi to everyone. Hope you're all doing well. Are we still on the Valentine's Day challenge?
Ruth, don't they have him on some kind of medication???? You have to stick up for him because no one else will. Been through that when my mom and grandmom were in and out the nursing home and hospitals.
Dianne,
What's the Valentine's Day Challenge? I probably forgot to read something. I am real challenged on Valentine's Day. I teach 4th grade and all the kids bring me chocolate and we have a big food party!!! Anyone want some???
So we are supposed to get snow over the weekend. Any snow in the forecast for anyone else??
Ruth,
Rant here if you like, you're entitled. Your Dad is going through a difficult time; it's good that you're there for him. You won't regret it. My prayers are with all of you.
Dianne,
I haven't tried the Nabisco snacks yet, but you've given a great review! I will look for them when I go shopping after work today.
Susan,
When I changed my tracker, I believe I had to delete the old one and make a new one :( a hassle. Perhaps I was doing it wrong?
We're expecting 6 to 10 inches of snow  beginning tonight and lasting through tomorrow evening. A great weekend to stay home and "nest". Joe purchased the new snowthrower (yay!) so he'll have a new toy to play with tomorrow
I've got to get some shopping done today, and stock up on veggies to make the 0 point soup, among other things.
have a great weekend, hi  to Terri, Es, Sandy, Janie, Linda

Hi Buddies:wave:
I am on my way to drop Greg off at school and then on to WW for my meeting and weigh in.
Susan, I sure am challenged, especially by any situation involving chocolate.
Hugs, be back later,
Sandy
Hi again, I figured since no one else posted I would just update my message. I lost 1 lb again. So my total is 16.6, but the tracker signature only shows whole numbers. As usual I was hoping for more, especially because of all the exercise I am actually doing for a change. However, I am still eating my own cooking, and not the Lean cuisines, and I know that portion control is an issue for me.
This weekend I will be a sponsor at one of Greg's youth conferences, so I will be sleeping at a church for the next 2 nights and eating whatever the youth group has concocted. Wish me luck!
Have a great weekend everyone, Jen, we will be getting your snow starting tomorrow night. How much did you get?
