Ummm..I moved my butt from the couch to the computer, does that count!! Hehehe...I have been babysitting all day, so that is pretty hard work chasing after three other kids that are not your own. I am going to try to make time for a walk later on. I have to get back on my exercise regime. I'm back on track with my eating for now which gives me pleasure.

Mez, thanks for starting the thread. :)

Chasing after 3 kids is alot of CHASING!!! My nephew is a bit over a year and he wears me out!! I'm happy to hear your back on track and someday the only thing that gets my butt off the couch is the computer. lol

Mopping is some serious exercise. I'd say that with the weight lifting, stretching, and mopping that you got a most excellent quota of exercise for the day. :)

Mez, like normal you are kicking butt on your exercise. Great job! :)

LOL Tammy, it all counts. Even moving from the couch to the computer. :) But especially the kids bit. I even got exhausted babysitting when I was 13, heheh.

Finally signed up at the gym here (i'm home for semester break), and got in 40 minutes on the crosstrainer and upper body weights, didn't notice the time because I was out of it.

Patience sure you can join! This is open to everyone! You can make your post as long/short as you want. Welcome :)

As for me ---

Tues - I was getting ready for my workout and my niece called her babysitter (my sister) is sick. So I had my nephew (1 year) I didn't get my workout in but I did dance to the wiggles and barney with him. =) On a down note when I gave him his snack. (teddy grahms) he insisted on shoveing one or two in my mouth! I did at 1st try to fake eating them but I think he figured it out that is why he personally shoved them into my mouth. :) Kids are so much fun! I'm getting so excited my daughters due date is Jan 9th.

I actually made it to the gym today. It felt wonderful after not going for two weeks.

Back and triceps: 25 minutes
Elliptical: 45 minutes

I am so freaking tired it is not funny. My One year old is still getting up twice in the night and it is killing me. I would die for a whole nights sleep. I can only hope that this won't last much longer. She has not slept through the night since she was born.

Aw, poor thing.. you must be exhausted. Do you have any clue why she wakes up so much?

12/22: 45 minutes on the cross trainer and 15 leg weights.

Oh, Tammy, even after 26 years, I remember that so well. Does she get out of the crib or just wake up and cry?

Wednesday

1 hour shallow water aerobics

Thursday

45 min. weight lifting
20 min. stretching

Thurs:

when i got to my car, to my dismay, it would not start. therefore, I'll have to add a thirty minute walk home (in the rain, no less). Yikes!@

Sheila and Dana, she wakes up for a bottle. She does not take them anymore in the day at all. My husband thinks that we just need to let her cry. I know that she eats enough food in the evening to sustain her through the night with no problems. I'm not sure how to remedy the situation. Any suggestions? Should I just let her cry and fall back to sleep?

Dana, I hope that it was not a serious car problem. Dead battery? I bet the rain was pretty darn cold and you kept a great pace. A little extra cardio..heh...:)

I went to the gym today.

Shoulders and Legs: 30 minutes
Elliptical: 40 minutes of cardio
Walking: 1.25 miles

My doctor told me to let my son cry for a bit and see if he can teach himself how to fall back asleep. The tricky part is how long can you let your child cry. I gave my son a few minutes if he didn't fall asleep then I went in. It's a hard thing to do. I did peep to make sure everything was ok. You run the risk of being caught and her crying harder but I think it's worth the risk!!

Thurday - Didn't work out went shopping.

Well, with my first kid, I couldn't let him cry for some reason and ended up with a kid who didn't sleep through the night until he was almost 3. It was horrible. When my second kid came along, I knew I couldn't go through that again, so I plugged my ears and let her cry. It took three days, with progressively less crying (you can still kind of hear through plugged ears), and then she never woke up or cried to get up again. She wouldn't utter a peep until I came in and got her.

1 hour combo water aerobics

Mez, hehe, chewing counts...I'm pretty sure ;)

Sheila and Mez, I've so had enough I am going to go with what you are suggesting. In fact we sort of did do that. First, her crib is in our room. We set up the portable in a different room and put her in there. I used the monitor and she was restless from time to time but really only woke up once. I think getting her out of our room really helped also. We gave her a bottle once and she did not touch it. That tells me that I do indeed need to let her fuss for a bit. I think she will fall back to sleep on her own. Thanks for the advice ladies. I kind of thought that is what it would come down to, but it always helps to hear it from someone else.

Oh yeah, I went to the gym on Friday, I did biceps and back and did 45 minutes of cardio on the Elliptical.

I was going to hit the gym today but almost my whole family is sick including me. I am so tired of this. We were sick not even a month ago. I sure hope this runs its course quickly. The last one kept me down for way to long.
