Morning Michelle! Hope you had a good night at work last night.

Well, ladies, I MUST get in my challange and extra workout time. I havne't completely decided to go to the gym or not today. It's only 6 degrees outside. If I just had Abigail, it would be so bad, but trying to get Bugga out of the car and RUN to the front door of the gym in the Bitter cold weather would not be fun. So, maybe I'll go this afternoon when the sun comes up a bit. Kick my butt girls.

Anyway, I have to look up something for dh. bbl

Hey there desperate housewives. I don't think I'm in a great mood today. Not sure yet, haven't been up long enough, but I don't feel like I am.
Slept 3 hours, interrupted, slept 3 hours interrupted, slept 2 hours with Andrew and got up. I think maybe it didn't settle with me. I also have to go grocery shopping later and I'll have to take all the kids and that doesn't appeal to me right now. I've still got Christmas presents to buy because the stuff I ordered in the mail isn't here yet.
I go to the doc tomorrow for a checkup and I'm so sick and tired of being pregnant. I mean I'm sick of it.

Are all of you really ready for Christmas? I love the holidays but I'm more ready to get them over with and I don't mean to be a scrooge about it, but after the holidays the next big thing is to have the baby and then the next big thing will be the house so I'm just ready to get all these shows on the road.

I hope everyone has a great day. I won't be leaving until after lunch sometime so I'll try to check in before then. TTYL

Crystal, I hope you feel better later. I know you must feel like you've had it by now! Keep your chin UP. I think you just need sleep. Sleep deprivation is no fun!

Good Morning Ladies!

Crystal- I truly can relate to you! You must be miserable by now, you poor dear! I was there just 8 mo. ago! Just think of how wonderful that little downy head is going to be when you snuggle her! God is getting you ready!
I feel so sorry for the rest of us, cause when you are ready, you will probably kick our butts in the new challenge! I agree with Mel, try to get a little rest I know it's hard with so much to do! Sometime there's no mom time.

Mel- How are you today? You constantly amaze me with your workouts! I read that post about you pulling the wagon with 123lbs. on it and thought whoa! Superwoman! Maybe you can be a trainer later on! You'd be good at it! Hope the challenge is going good for you.

Michelle- when did you post? :dizzy: I hope you are sleeping now! I hope you lost that one annoying pound, and the challenge is going good for you too!

I'm not quite caught up with everyone's posts from over the weekend, I had hoped to get on, but my familylife is just crazy over the weekends. They watched Spiderman2 Sunday evening and this morning Celine put on tight blue legging and a red turtle neck(all by herself) and said that SHE was spiderman for real! She is going to climb the walls (already done that) she crawls over the bed like spiderman (sounds like a snake) and says spiderman has sticky hands (she IS Spiderman!) so I guess we have to live with spiderman all day today. Hopefully we will watch something else soon. Not Mary Poppins, I don't want her flying out of the 2nd story window with an umbrella, yes she would try! I typed out a whole post one handed, holding Martin. He is so grabby lately, and he touched the keyboard and I lost my whole post! So he's upstairs and I'm typing with two hands again, trying to remember what I wrote in the first one. Only 2 days of school this week, then vacation! The children are caroling at the nursing home this morning. That should be fun! Hopefully when they are off school, they will allow me to post or I'll get real cranky. I better go, spiderman and her sister want some raisin bran. BBL

Good morning Mel and Roxy, you're both probably right. I just need rest and sleep. Not sure I'll get it. I am sick and tired of being pregnant but notice my ticker and I've only got 6 weeks to go and this will be the last time I'm ever pregnant so I should enjoy it, but that's not possible.
Roxy, I hope to have great motivation after this pregnancy, it usually takes me a while to get back on track after having one, but I've got my 10 year high school reunion next year and I'm not sure if I'm going but I might and that's going to help my motivation somewhat. I was never big in school.
My dh got up to terrible news, which I delivered that his dad needed him to pick him up from the ER and such. Dh can't stand his dad and his dad just came back to town and has NOTHING and NOBODY so he calls dh. So he's dealing with that today and I know he's not happy about it.
I've got to get going this morning and get the kitchen cleaned, the house picked up, myself looking decent and everything else.
I'll check in later. Hope you all have great days.

Hello everyone! Well today I gotta get back on my grind. I didn't do my sit ups last night. I didn't get back on the computer. You can't even walk in my living room. Me and my DH stayed up until 1 a.m. trying to clean out the storage and decide what we are taking back to TX and what is going in the trash/or salvation army or what is staying. Situps arent even that big of a deal. So I'm going to add them on for today so that I can at least feel like i did them.. to myself... Well I gotta step up my workout this week. I expected to see more lbs.. but I'll take the inches. I knew I had lost some because my pants were feeling looser. Anyways here's to everyone on the challenge and everyone else! I want to get personal... but my kids are screaming! I'll be back later!

Hi all. Just wanted to jump in and say how terrible of a mood I'm in. Does anyone have any quick fixes to get in a good mood? I prayed while I took a shower and if...IF Andrew goes to sleep, I just laid him down, then I'm gonna lay down and I'm hoping that will make a difference when I get up. I do have to buy groceries, but I have at least one more dinner to cook in there so I can go this evening maybe. Still have to take the kids I imagine, dh's day I KNOW isn't any better than mine.
I'm really short with the kids and I hate that. They really haven't been a problem but I can tell I'm short with them and it makes me feel bad.
I think I'm gonna give them a candy cane and then go lay down and maybe everyone will be happy.
Hope all is well.

hey there ladies! Yesterday was a bad day! :) I mean christmas at g-mas was great, but then I started to feel sick and achy and my neck was cramping up...I went to bed right when we got home :( I feel bout the same today. But i did maintain this week for BLC so that is OKAY, at least it wasn't a gain!

Crystal - Take a nap dear! Is there anyway you could take the kids to your moms? maybe for just a few hours so you could take a hot bath, read a book or stare at the wall for a few minutes yourself? When I was having a "preggo meltdown" as I called them, I would try and do that! I know i didn't have any other kids, but it really helped to 'set the time aside" for just me. Chin up, think of all the good things in your life!

Jilly - HOT MAMA! and HOT MOONFACE! LMAO, you two are so dang cute :) Have a great time at the gym....lets chat later :)

Roxy, shell, everyone else, have a great day, the dogs are playing tug of war with a bag of triscuits! aahhH! gotta get cleaning this place up from the mad rush of christmas too :)

12-20-2004, 12:13 PM
Hey again all!

Crystal, I think the nap will do wonders. Other than that, tell yourself you are in a good mood and act like you are. Psyc yourself into it.

Michelle and Penny, nice chatting with you this morn.

Jill, Pic looks GREAT! YOur face and neck look so thin! So is the rest of you! Did you have a nice time.

Kristin, how is your neck this morning? You maintained which is great, especially, that you did all that baking!

Me again!

Hi Jilly- You two are so good looking! Look at those thighs girls, Your thighs are so thin! I am so totally envious! Not bad envious, good envious! I hope you had a great time at the party!

Hi Kristin! Get those dogs! I hope you are feeling better. You maybe need a nap too. either that or the dogs and Sydney! Somedays are just like that, huh?

Crystal- sorry you are having a bad mood day. Don't you just wish you could start the day over sometimes? How was that triple whammy b-day party yesterday? I wonder if that wasn't too much for you. That would wear me out! Is someone close to give you a hand?

12-20-2004, 01:35 PM
Hi girls. Thanks for all your words.
I was able to get a 30 minute nap in and then I just laid in the bed for another 30 minutes without anyone bothering me. Once I got up, I was better. Still am somewhat. I'm getting lunch made and haven't decided if we're going to buy groceries or not. It's really, really, really windy outside so I don't want to get the kids out if I don't have to.
Dh is on his way home after having to take care of his dad. His dad suffers from paranoia, grandma siezures and all kinds of things. For years he mixed drugs with alcohol with medication so he's all screwed up. He's never really been in our lives, living most of his years since i've been around in Oregon, but now he's here thinking he wants to straighten out his life and in doing so, he's making dh's miserable.
Anyways, I've got to feed these kids and thanks again to all of you.
Jill, you are a cutie. I love that blouse you were wearing.

Hi ladies, Just checking in! :) Got the trisciut issue solved AFTER they ripped it open, and then we had a glitter attack, well sydney did, so she was covered...she looked so funny. I wanted to take a pic, but she wouldn't let me! LOL I have been OP so far today, but no exercise yet, I am going to get in in when dd is napping. I need to up the water intake too :)

Crystal - Glad you are feeling better. I'm sorry to hear about dh's dad. I always tell myself that there is no such thing as a "normal" family. Everyone has a story of some sort, or a wacky situation. I hope that things are calm for you for the christmas weekend!

Roxy - you are too sweet, thanks for carign about little HAyley, she fought a long battle, and I am heartbroken, but she is cancer free now! My little angel warrior is having a little trouble getting her ANC counts back up where they should be, so please say a few prayers for her. They need to be up so she can restart her chemo.

Mel - Thanks for the thumbs up! :) It feels god to care abuot all that again! :) You are doing awesome too! Cyber hugs to you! :)

Okay ladies - time to get my rear into overdrive and get the following done.
1. clean out christmas gifts from the car
2. put all the christmas gifts away
3. fold laundry on bed
4. call about hotel job (I'll give more details later :) )
5. wrap presents for our friends that we will see tomorrow
6. syd nap - me tae-bo
7. lunch
8. shower at some point before work
9. work at 5pm

I am not sure what to fix for dinner, what are you all having ? okay, ttyl!

Ladies, TOM is coming I need you all to yell at me. I have eating a 1/4 of a pound cake. Thats gross! I'm so mad, but still want more. I think I should just go and throw it out! I mean really. THis darn tom is getting to me. I just want to eat all day. Breakfast was a bowl of cereal and lunch was a can of soup. That was ok, but the cake is NOT!!

Kristin, dinner tonight is left over pork on a torilla, with some cheese. BTW, I saw you lost a half of a pound. Good for you! This week, you'll lose more. I don't know, do we count half pounds for points? I think we should. I mean, not 1/4 or anything, but a half is a half. Exercise, I still think needs to be a full half hour, but weight is what we are here for. Still shows progress.

Crstal, glad you are feeling better. I think being tired you tend to be more short and feel angry sometimes. I know I do. If I don't sleep....beware! And I don't mean, a night or two with no sleep, it's usual constant sleep deprivation that gets to me.

1hot_tomato
12-20-2004, 04:14 PM
Mel- let go of the cake!!! Do I have to come over there? Better yet...do I have to sic Michelle on you? There, that ought to whip you into shape! You are working too hard to sabotage yourself, darn it! Drink tumblers of water! Quick! Remember, how cool you will look in that new outfit if you win the BLC challenge. Give the cake to the babies with some milk for a snack, give the rest to the dog. I'll be back later to get personal with everyone in a while. For Pete's sake get that cake outta there!

12-20-2004, 04:21 PM
Well, thanks Roxy. I ate the darn rest of it. I don't know what happened to me. I've already had 87oz of water thus far. I am stuffed now. I may not eat any dinner. Stupid fund raiser cake. I haven't had junk in a while. TOM and the Fundraiser....I curse you both!

ANyway, I'm over it now. Feel like a fat pig. But tomorrow is a BIG day at the gym, so I'll have to work even harder. Thanks though for your help..

Hey ladies I'm back!! I got all my shopping done except for the other half of my mom's present and stocking stuffers. Town was getting hectic and my debit card wasn't working since I forgot to deposit money this morning so that was it for me! LOL I went to the bank and have drank so much water today I almost peed my pants while I was in there! LMAO not that you all wanted to know that but I thought it was funny and that I would share lol!!

Thanks for all the compliments about my pic! Makes me feel really good. Oh and don't be fooled Roxy I had a strategically placed shirt and 3 inch boots on so it makes my legs look long and skinny, gotta love optical illusions!! LMAO We had a great time last night, good food (ate too much) and Ron got employee of the year!! I was so proud of him but he was super embarrassed, he's not one for attention so I have been bragging about him all day! LOL

Crystal Oh the final days of pregnancy, I'm sorry! Glad you got a nap in and are in a better mood now, It would be hard to be in a bad mood, pregnant and have 3 kids at home! LOL Anyway so glad you are enjoying your van, it's nice to have nice things that make things easier, makes all the difference sometimes.

Roxy too funny about your spiderman!! That's too cute, I can't wait for Bayley to start playing pretend, I think its so cute!! And believe me I know about grabby babies at the computer, Bayley drives me crazy when she is in here with me!! Hope your day is going well, hows your weight loss plan working for you? I don't think I've read much about it lately.

MEL!!!!!! NO CAKE!!!! Well I guess it's too late for that. Put it behind you though cuz worrying about it will just get you down and might lead to more bad eating. See that's the exact reason that I try to be lax on the weekend cuz it helps me stay on track during the week knowing I can have something sort of bad but I just have to wait till the weekend, then sometimes by then I don't want it anymore and being really good for 5 days and not so good for 2 still give me results, you know? Anyway work your butt off tomorrow!!

Hi Kris!! How are you! I hope you had a great day yesterday, I really want to chat tonight! I've missed you! Too funny about the glitter and syd not wanting her pic taken! LOL Have you exercised yet?

Hi Michelle have you heard anything about your classes yet? I mean what are they about? Glad you have the day off! I bet you are loving it! I don't have Hunter anymore so I am psyched about that, just me and Bayley the rest of the day, should be nice.

Hi Jaymi, how is the TOM doing today?

Hey Penny what did the boys get? Too fun, I love giftcards!

Allright ladies, need to post pics and check in on the MLW site, give Bayley a bath and try to clean up around here! I'll TTYL

Jill, I'm in the same boat with the water today. At 100 oz already! Ughhh!

Ok, I just had to enter all my disgusting calories. I'm still under for the day. I guess because all I ate was Soup and Cereal otherwise. Gotta love that soup! Few calories and lots of vities! I feel a tad better now. Of course, It's a reality check for me. I won't do that again. Thanks for the support ladies!

Here I am...headache and all. I'm having terrible sinus problems today and I think I'm experiencing a tension headache. I haven't been having a good day today either. A fight with dh, a fight with a bill collector, and a long day at work.

Way to go to all you ladies.

Jill-your pic looks awesome. I wish I were that skinny. It would make my day.

Well I really really don't feel like posting much. I just want to lay down and take some of the throbbing away. Talk to you all later.

Hi all,
Penny-I took 3 advil so hopefully this disappears. I did some weight-lifting with my arms while watching the swan. I felt guilty about just sitting there. I am getting so sad...I'm actually feeling guilty about NOT moving. Is that insane or what?

Jill-Thanks for your "get well" wishes. I absolutely hate headaches. Little Bayley is sooo cute. I wish my girls had her hair.

I'll check back after a while. It all depends on if dh is still working or not. He feels like I'm neglecting him and the kids, I guess. I don't see it, but if he feels that way, I guess he has a valid point. I just don't think he understands how important it is to me to lose this weight and feel normal..and pretty. Some days, I'm even embarrassed for him to see me, let alone other people. I have a hard time feeling anything but contempt towards my body. Plus I haven't had a change in hair in God knows how many years and I'd LOVE to go shopping for NEW clothes. Clothes that look good and not sloppy, or granny like.
NO MORE GRANNY PANTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BAN THE BIG BRAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone find me a cute hairstyle...Please?????
