We are a friendly group who share all the ups and downs of our daily lives... not just weight loss. Won't you join us?

Ellen - so glad you and your son spent all that time together, even if it was hard work, lol. If xdh doesn't come soon for the boxes, you could call Goodwill. Bet they'd like to have whatever it is, lol. Well, yes, I'll put out a place setting for you at the table tomorrow, lol. You may wish you were going somewhere else, though, since my meal will be pared down quite a bit. Oh, if only we Jaded Ladies really could all get together!
Cristi - I missed chat, too. I'm not on the same time as most of Indiana. There's a small section of us that are an hour ahead of some. Also not sure if the others decided on a time? It's raining here, too.
Hello to all the other Jaded Ladies and anyone else reading this.
Mackenzie is taking a nap. We got a few things accomplished, but not much, lol. We'll get busy again when she wakes. I should be able to be back in the morning after I put the turkey in, and before it's time to start everything else.
Have a good day, and a Happy Thanksgiving!!

This one is a quick one since I've been busy all day and now I have to get ready for work. Now.....are we going to try and chat on Wed??? I thought Thurs. But not tomorrow since everyone will be having family time.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING. And I want you all know that I'm VERY thankful to have you all as my friends!

Good Evening Girls!!
Just wanted to come in and wish you guys a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow!! I am cooking dinner here for DBF and I , then we will go to my brothers house for dessert!!! We rented Harry Potter 3 tonight, so we're gonna watch it before I buy it in the store...So far we have the first 2 dvds, cause DBF wants to collect them all for our kids someday!!! Speaking of that, nothing new in the BABY area, we're waiting for the results from the last blood test, may call the doc on friday, if hes in to see about the results!!
Hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow, and I'd just like to say that its been positive motivation having you all in my life...... I look forward to coming on here everyday seeing whats new with you all, its like we have our own little private family here!!! You're all a wonderful bunch of gals and I hope to have many more memories here with the Jaded Ladies!!!!
So many things to be thankful for healthy children and a job, a car that runs and a sweet man living in a tropical paradise :flow2:
and all the jaded ladies who have been soooo wonderful, some I get to call ma and some sis and some shirley.......
You know.............that saying?? call me anything just don't call me shirley??? hahahah,,,,,,,,ok, you have to be here..... :D :D
Thanksgiving kind of reminds me of Angie because it was right before Thanksgiving 5 years ago that we met on Richards Angels.... a weight board on Yahoo....
I don't remember it as a big group at that time. Remember a Michelle and Melissa.....and Angie.
Angie was the sweetest...... always would talk to me and made me feel welcome.
I was 150 and about to reach my goal of 145- making 100 pounds lost. It was an exciting time but also a painful time because my marriage was falling apart.
I never made friends during our 10 year marriage and when the computer came into the home ..........the world came into my living room. Angie came in and ........brightened my life, along with some others that have meant so much.
Just thankful for you Angie. You were my first internet friend........and you are still in my life. How lucky can a girl be.......... :lucky:
You all have meant so much these past few months. You have provided a place for me to come and feel welcomed and cared about.
Hope you all have a safe holiday and pray that you know how special you are.

A very HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you All!
Boy am I pooped! It is after 11 and I am still cooking. :yikes: Almost done though, about 15 mns. and I am off to bed. Just had to come by and wish you ladies a Happy Thanksgiving. Sounds like every is going to have a great one! I plan on sleeping late, at least till 8 or 9. We always have our dinner at 6 pm so while the turkey is cooking I am going to do some yard work, need to cut back those roses and possibly help V with decorations. Also, will work on the tree in the living room. I am definitely going to take a few days decorating instead of doing it all in one day like I have in the past. Anyway...
Mass was nice, kind of empty but nice. It really hits ya to hear a sermon like that and gets you thinking. I truly am thankful for my life and everyone in it. Plus Father Mike tries to be funny, tonight he did some of those "You might be a redneck if..." and I will leave you on that note.
Take care ladies and have a GREAT Thanksgiving! And for those of you traveling near or far, be careful!
11-25-2004, 06:32 AM
A blessed Thanksgiving Day to you! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/1/1_4_9.gif
Ellen - I'll leave the light on for you... just call me Tom Odett.
Marti - it doesn't matter to me which day the morning chat is on, as long as we keep the Thursday night chat, too. Just let me know, ok?
Julie - have a good day with DBF!
Susan - I met Angie at a different site too, and dragged her over here w/me, lol.
Cristi - our church had a combined service with the other Lutheran Church and it was sad that out of all those members, only about 60-70 showed up. It was cold and blowing like crazy out, so that probably kept some of the older ones home.
Hi to everyone reading this...
Mary's cooking the turkey in her oven, and I've already got the ham in mine. It is an uncooked one, so had to start early with that. Neal's brother from Louisiana stopped by yesterday - the one who's wife died in March. Anyway, it was good to see him, and we're going to meet for Sunday breakfast before he flies back.
I just want to say what you guys have meant to me, too. I really look forward to coming here everyday and seeing what's going on in your lives and sharing my life with you, too. It's a sisterhood with strong bonds, and I thank you for that.

Just had to pop in here before I go to bed....(can't believe you're cooking already Jane!)
You all brought tears to my eyes with your thanking of friendship. You are all right about this being a family. Even though we all haven't met (but hoping to someday) I feel close to you all as though we've known each other all our lives.
So just to let you all know.....I am truly thankful for the Jaded Ladies and for 3FC for having this site to where I can meet and get to know some wonderful people!!
Thank you ALL for being here for me!!!
Love to you all and your families!!

Oh geez Jane....just saw the picture!!
11-25-2004, 10:45 AM
A late Happy Birthday to Julie!
So much to be thankful for.....My son turned 8 yesterday and we had a lovely day together as a family. The guys had a half day at school then we went to Izzy's then OMSI ( our science museum)
Today our church shares a service with the Catholic church next door and James is singing with his choir...then I'm off to Salem for a little visit with Grandma, then home for dinner by 6. I haven't been cooking at all... ordered a bunch of stuff from New Seasons, then picked it up yesterday...
I am thankful for you all... this is the first online community that I've participated in as much as I do here and I appreciate knowing that there are supportive people out there sending me the "lose weight" vibes! You know I am sending them your way! I am thisclose to being half way to my goal and your support has helped so much.
Have a great day everyone......put down the butter and step away from the counter, lol!
I've kind of lost track of the daytime chat discussion, but I can do most Wednesday ams....what time? Leigh is starting some speech therapy, so that will cut in to some wednesdays, but not too much....

I'm sitting here waiting for my son to call ,he had to take my kitty Snookie to the emergency hospital ,she wasn't feeling well today so we took her to the vet, they did a geriatric checkup because of her age and some bloodwork which we were waiting for the results and they sent her home , but tonight she took a turn for the worse , I feel such a pain in my heart right now I don't think she is going to be alright. I lost my Nisa her sister to cancer last year and I am not prepared for this .I have no one to talk to right now so I'm here pouring my heart and eyes out . I feel so sad ,I don't know what I will do if I get the call they can't save her. My pets are my family they mean so much to us, they go through everything we do and they are always there to comfort us. Sorry for this depressing conversation ,I guess I will go and wait for my son to come home. maybe you could say a little prayer for her and me.
11-26-2004, 06:23 AM
Marti - glad I could give you a chuckle, lol. Poor Bigbird!!
Katy - do you have a "half-way there" reward in mind? Mine was the charm bracelet where every charm stood for something.
Angie - did you get any turkey?
Ellen - so sorry about Snookie! Prayers are coming your way that she is ok. If you ever need to talk, just call me. Seriously. You've got my phone number, right?
Hi to the others.
I'm happy to say that I stayed OP yesterday. It really wasn't bad at all - I had my points planned, and had a small amount of several "good" things. Once again, portion control saved the day, lol. I only pray I can do as well at Christmas.
The DDs and I are going to Evansville for shopping later. I need a few more things for Katie, and am just going to have "fun time" with the DDs.
11-26-2004, 10:58 AM
Hello ladies…..how are you all doing?
nothing really new on this end...since I was on here earlier. we, well I, stocked up on HPT's. I got two three packs. One is the Clear Blue digital, and the other was a First Repsonse. Like I said, both are three packs, so I have plenty on hand. Plus I have some ones left from friends of mine that sent me some.
Brandon is now sitting up by himself. We just saw a preview of how is going to be on Christmas morning. Aunt Anna gave him an old apartment guide that she picked up for herself, and he enjoyed ripping the pages out of it one by one, except for this page that had a dog on it!
We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We did on this end! Brandon loved it!! He has some mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, a little piece of turkey, and some cranberry sauce. After the bite of turkey, I think the triptophan kicked in, because he was sounds asleep and snoring for a good period of time.
Jane~ That is awesome!! We are planning on using the next check for our rent for last month, gotta love having my sister as a landlord. Then the one after that will be spent on Christmas shopping and what not. Tommy is thinking of pulling out our Christmas tree on Sunday and putting it up! I can’t wait to see Brandon’s reaction!
Ellen~ I couldn’t agree more! The true meaning of the season is that family is together. Tommy was feeling really bad though because with it being his first “out of the womb” Christmas, that he wouldn’t get anything from us.
We also figured out that we are going to go to his aunt and uncle’s house on Christmas eve and then to my sister’s house on Christmas day.
Cristi~ Thanks for keeping your fingers crossed for him!

Oh Ellen, I would say most of us on here can relate to how you feel about your pets.
Pets are a wonderful family members, I love my Skittles and can't imagine if shes not around.
Jane, you should be proud of yourself! I know that when I was on BFL I made sure that my free day was on that day so I could eat whatever I wanted. I didn't have turkey yesterday,,,I had toasted BBQ beef with monteray jack from Subway.
Brandon wanted a field trip so we went and did his banking, got him a sub, then to Wallys,,,he got a motorized scooter and cruised the isles. After a 1/2 hour of that we went home and he took a 1/2 hour nap. Wore him out. I stopped and got ELF and we watched that,,,omg I love that show! His face alone cracks me up...lol
The show went well last night, 3 more to go....*yawn its long...
I had blood work done on Wed. got a call yesterday to come in,,,so in a few minutes I have to head out and see if theres anything wrong. I don't like calls like, that.
Kathy, and Ellen, do either of you watch Corner Gas? We watch it on occassion,,,Monte and Brandon make a point of seeing it...we bought Monte the first season's dvd for Christmas. That show is hilarous
Well better go,

oh ya,,,I finally bought a new vehicle. Santa Fe. My van is on its last wheel. Had some weird noises so haivng it checked they told me my cams and a belt need to be replaced...it being the cams,,,the engine is close to going so...after spending too much money on it,,,and refusing to spend more we thought we would look around, found a 2004 Santa Fe a great price and they will trade in with the van. Didn't get the color I wanted since it was the last 2004. Beige,,,,or Sand is what they call it,,,its beige...lol
11-26-2004, 02:05 PM
Ellen--I will pray for your little kitty! I'm sorry she's not feeling well. I couldn't imagine what it would be like if one of our dogs fell ill......those two are Jame's babies! I hope your kitty is just not feeling good and that she gets better!
Angie--Jhanai & I went and seen ELF when it came out. Such a cute and funny movie. We may buy it......I love buying all the holiday movies. I'm going to be starting to watch some here soon! Glad to hear that Brandon was about to scoot along the aisles at Walmart!
Jane--Are you going to tackle the crowds for after thanksgiving sales?? I'm going here as soon as I get ready. I'm not doing the early bird and get beat up by all the people shopping...just the "stroll in during the afternoon" crowd! Plus, I'm only staying in my town so that leaves me only Two stores to go to!
Cristi--I think I will be taking a couple days of decorating too. Trying to get it all done in one day just adds stress. And who needs that this time of year? We have enough of it already.
Hello to the rest!!
Yesterday was a relaxing day! James didn't get home from work until noon so he went to bed. For a few hours Jhanai has a little cold and she went back to bed and took a two hour nap! So I was busy in the kitchen or sitting on the couch going through the ads for Christmas shopping! I truly enjoyed the day. And I hope you all did too.
I need to get to town......must do some shopping before I go to work tonight.
You all have a great weekend!!

I was watching tv late last night and saw all the commercials for sales on the after Thanksgiving holiday...I wanna go shopping at Bon too!
Are the sales really that good? We had a new Ikea open up a couple of weeks ago and it was insane, some lady slept outside the doors for like 3 days,,,she won 5 grand for being the first person in the store,,,they gave away 100 dressers to the first 1000 people in there,,,
My Dr was ok, told me I am healthy but for my iron,,,which is at 15, he thought by now it should be alot higher. I am around 7 most times and thats with high iron supps.
11-26-2004, 07:59 PM
I get to go home in a second. Thought I better check in and say hello.
Prayers for your Snookie, Ellen. So, sorry....hope you get some good news.
My ex and the girls went to the service, Katy. Hope you had a safe trip yesterday.
Finally had the talk with the Ex about Rocky.
I never had until yesterday. He was ok..........I thought he wouldn't be so I dragged it out......until he asked.
He was ok with it all and I even showed him a picture and he apporoved of Rocky!!!!! yay,,,,,,,,
Been up early with an oil change and getting Gaby to her sitter, that seems to be working out ok,,,,,
anyway- need to go get my baby.
I was NOT OP yesterday!! lol...........love stuffing :)
talk later :)

----> Just some mush from my email box this morning. Rocky started singing to me in the car as I was stressed trying to make it to work this morning. I had to go from NW to Beaverton to Multnomah to Milwaukie back to NW for work.............yay..........I did it with 2 minutes to spare!! <<-----

Good Morning Rocky!
Miss you. I think of you and feel so blessed to have you in my life.
You are so sweet.
I loved how you started to sing this morning - made me calm down instantly.
You make me laugh and make me believe that I can have the family life I pray for......
How did I get so lucky?? God had his plan though......because I do feel he has brought us both to this point in our lives ......and I do believe he brought us along the same path.....
Where one child needs a mother and the other needs a father and,,,,,,,,,,,the mom and dad need a lover/partner/safe harbor........
You brought a tear of joy to my eyes with this lovely
email. :.) << a tear of joy :)
So well put, Kris needs a mother that he has so long,
longed for. :)
So I pray I will be the father Gaby needs as well. :)
Yes, I will be your safe harbor.
Yes I believe God has lead us here.
You are the love of my life.
I love you Susan with all my heart.
11-27-2004, 07:21 AM
Good Saturday morning to you!
Let's see... who stopped by since I was here last....
Mindee - our Caylin, 13 mos., has already got in trouble for trying to take the decorations off Mary's tree, lol. The bottom 1/4th of the tree is all goobered up, but the top 3/4ths looks real nice, lol. Glad you have made your Christmas plans.
Angie - whew! Glad your doctor's visit wasn't anything scary. YAY :cp: for your new Santa Fe! I don't have a clue what they look like, but I'm very happy for you anyway. I've never seen Elf - must rent it soon.
Marti - we didn't shop with the early birds, since Katie had to babysit for DSs kids, and we waited for her to get back. But we still got everything on sale. Most of it was 40 or 50% off! The crowds were awful, though, and I said I won't do that again, lol. I'm the type who mall shops on Monday or Tuesday mornings, lol, practically by myself. People did seem to be in a good mood, though, and fairly polite.
Susan - awww, thanks for sharing your email from your sweetie pie. Glad the xdh approves of Rocky, since that will make it easier all around. What does he think about the girls visiting Hawaii, if you end up there?
Ellen - hope your kitty is better... let us know, ok?
Hi to Katy, Jullie, Sue, and all the others reading this.
I lost the water weight (as of last Monday) and today I'm down 2 1/2 more! Makes me feel good.....
Katie and I went to see Christmas with the Kranks. We went on the spur of the moment to the 9:20 PM showing, lol. It has had lukewarm reviews, but we wanted to judge it for ourselves. IMHO, although it isn't going to win any awards, it was still cute and worth the price of admission. Marti, the Tim Allen character even makes a reference to fish tacos!! Jamie Lee Curtis shows herself in a bikini that she wears to tan in, and I applaud her for that. I thought it was worth watching, and might even buy it when it's available for purchase, since there was lots of laughs and I love Christmas movies.
Have a great day, Ladies, and I'll bbl,

Good Morning Ladies,
Susan, your emails are so sweet to each other.
Ellen, how is Snookie?
Jane, yay on the water weight being gone.... Im not sure if I could do the crowds for even that good of sales. I just cringe at the thought of lots of people pushing and shoving. I get so annoyed when people stop in the middle of the isle and chit chat with someone they haven't seen in awhile....Go to a coffee Shop! grrrr
Last day for our show...Thank Gawd! Im exhausted! Last nights show went well...lots of people in the audience that I knew were there.
Was approached by the producer of this theatre company...he asked me my opinion on the building we are in...told him it was a horror working in. And if he has another place it has to be better,,,and once he told me about the brand new place I was pretty excited. Then he dropped the bomb that he would like me to stay with the company exclusive. I sounded like such a Diva...when I told him that I only work with certain directors...lol
Well better run, going to go pick up my SF
11-27-2004, 02:52 PM
I got to come home at midnight last night! (although I stayed up until 3:30 watching a movie) And James was here when I got home.....and he took two lay off days so we can spend the weekend together! Perfect!!
Got up around 8:00.....James felt sick. And after sitting for a little talking to make sure he was ok (he feels much better) we went back to bed! I was too tired to be up that early.
Angie--I've been meaning to ask you something for awhile now and just now remembered! I was watching the food network channel and it was about candies and stuff....they mentioned this candy called "Chicken Bones" A cinnamon candy w/chocolate inside. They said it was a Canadian candy....have you tried it? Is it any good? It really appealed to me for some reason. So I thought I would ask you what they were like.
Susan--Ahhh.....such a sweet sweet letter to each other!! You two are made for each other. So happy for you. And I'm very happy to hear that your ex approves of Rocky....makes it so much easier! And he may feel more comfortable knowing the girls will be with you for the holidays and stuff.
Jane--Well I have to say that I didn't even bother going shopping yesterday. The sales they have were for early birds and I was definately not an early bird and also....most of the sales are for both Friday and Saturday so once I drag James out of bed....we'll be going today. I will have to watch the movie now that I got a persons opinion on it! I love holiday movies and music!! Been listening to a station that plays only Christmas songs in my car!!
(CONGRATULATIONS on more weight loss!!--knew it was going to happen)
Good morning to all you other ladies out there!! How was Thanksgiving?? Come by and chat a little!!
Well, my weekend is going to be busy. After I clean up a little I want to go to Target....Jhanai has some things on her list thats there. Tomorrow though....that is the day I"m waiting for....going to Portland to the Expo. Then James is taking me to one of the malls to look around. Such a fun day we have planned!! I love Christmas shopping up in Portland....if only they got rid of all the traffic!!
Best get going. I will check in w/you all later on tonight!!
11-28-2004, 02:57 AM
just doing a fly by post......things have been really chaotic around here!
we have been out of the house for the majority of this weekend.....so hopefully looking forward to an in the house relaxing week ahead, but I am not counting on it!
I will be back later on today sometime to see what everyone else has been up to!
11-28-2004, 06:14 AM
Happy Sunday morning to you!
Angie - I won't do the shopping on black Friday ever again. The bargains are still there later, and I get what I absolutely have to have early, anyway. Hey, that's quite a coup to be asked to stay exclusively with the company, isn't it? They must really love your professionalism, Ang!! How's the Santa Fe - did you get it picked up, and are you loving it?
Marti - did you get some good stuff at Target? (Tar-zhay, dahling!!) I need to list what day and time the morning chat is... did anyone ever decide? Since you are the one who works Thurday nights, how about you suggest it? Have fun at the Expo and the mall today.
Mindee - I'm hoping your life will be less chaotic today!
Neal and I are going to meet his brother Paul for breakfast before he leaves to go back to Louisiana this morning. I'm hoping Denny's will make an egg white omelet for me - if not, I'll have cereal and toast.
We got all of the Christmas decorations up, except for the tree. Neal's going to put it together and then have the twins come over to hand ornaments to Katie and me to hang up. Oh yeah, still have to put the red bows on the porch spindles. It rained and was cold all day yesterday, so I didn't get that done.
Have a blessed day!
11-28-2004, 10:46 AM
Good Morning Girls
First off Ellen, very sorry to hear about your kitty. Right now my two pups are my babies and when I they get sick I have a natural instinct to take them to a doc just as if they were children, When you dont have kids, they beomce your joy. Somedays I cant wait to come home and see them waiting in the door for me, they depend on us so much!!!
JANE: Congrats on the loss!! I finally got the nerve to get on the scale this morning for the first time in 3 weeks, to see the damage!! Im back at 194lbs, but not for long...I went to the store last night and bought yogurt, rice cakes, granola and some other good stuff...Im also going to start taking my energy supplement again for an extra boost to start back hard with my workouts again...I dont want to put myself back where I started!!!
I took out some of my xmas decor this weekend, and started putting it up, maybe do the tree next weekend, we'll see!!! Ive been trying to go through the cellar, closets and drawers to gather old treasures for the Salvation Army, I like to make a donation before xmas!! Well, Im heading out to Walmart to start a bit of xmas shopping, and then Im gonna workout and decorate the front yard a bit!! Have a nice day, will check back later
Hi to Angie, Cristi, Mindee, Marti, Sue, Susan, Kathy and anyone else I have forgotten
11-28-2004, 10:53 AM
A very good morning to you all~
Geez, it seems like it has been ages since I have been here. Glad to see everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. This is the first time in the last 3 days I actually have time to sit for a few minutes. Of course gotta go jump in the shower to get ready for Mass at 11:30-glad DS goes to the later service now even though I miss Father Mike. Anyway...let's see what's been going on...Thursday was so stinking busy. We got the outside of the house decorated. I was in and out in between cooking and getting things ready. Man when I hit the bed at 11 I was out in less than 5 mns. Friday and Saturday spent running DS around and in between trying to get the inside of the house decorated-still not done and everything is a mess! Did get the mantel done, except for the stockings and some little things here and there and the kitchen cabinets on the one side of the kitchen. Looked all over the place for stocking holders and found some at Michaels that I kinda liked. So yesterday I'm looking at the mantel and thought hmmmm, I can put some cup hooks up under there and they will be hidden, and have the mantel to put all my santas on and I only knocked four santas off in the process and broke two. Anyway, working on the tree today after Mass and maybe the dining room table. It will probably be tomorrow before I am done. I will be glad to be rid of the mess. A lot of the people in the neighborhood got in the spirit Friday-you wouldn't believe the people out doing lights, looks so nice.
Marti~glad you got to leave work early. Have fun today shopping!
Angie~glad Brandon is up and around. Hope you are enjoying your new vehicle.
Hi Mindee
Ellen~hope your kitty is better.
Susan~nice email to and fro Rocky. Glad X approves of Rocky, not that you really need his approval but it does make it easier on everyone I guess. Don't really know since I haven't had to deal with an ex, just know from friends.
Jane~glad you ladies had fun shopping, you are much braver than me. I can't stand crowds and never shop the day after sales. Heard too many horror stories of people fighting over stuff which to me is silly. I always hit the shopping centers during the week in the morning when everyone is at work or school so much easier and nicer.
Hi to everyone else
Well, I went and deleted my tickerfactory tracker thingy which is sad :( as it was so cute. I loved the purple flowers. But since it was dragging down the site...I am hoping that the ones the 3fc is coming up with are just as cute. Don't understand how that slows down everything when people put all kinds of clip art and pictures in posts that slow it down more but anything to help out 3FC. Wonder when they will be ready with theirs? (There is a post in the annoucements that talks about this)
Anyway, gotta get going. Busy day today and I am going to try and get most of what needs to be done. Need to get half of these tubs back down to the basement out of my way so I have room. Or maybe I will have DS do it, there are too many! :yikes: Of course I need the exercise. Have a good day!
Hi Julie~I see you snuck in there while I was writing this mini-novel. Have fun at Wally World.

Good Morning ladies--
Been up for a little while wishing I was back in bed!! :D Have a long drive today to get to Portland and I got up early since I take more time to primp than James does!!
Cristi--Awww......two santa's broken?? Were they glass? I still haven't decorated my house...only because I'm waiting for Jhanai to be here. We will be getting the tree w/her the next weekend. Looking forward to all the decorating!!
Julie--I think that is a great idea about gathering things for Salvation Army. My DD amazed me the other day....she asked me if I could take some money aside from her allowance each week....I asked her why and she told me that she wants to give it to charity. I was proud of her!!
Jane--I got quite a bit from Tar-zhay!! I was impressed with the amount I saved yesterday getting things for Jhanai. James and I went all over yesterday.....both Malls and a couple other stores....we went to Michaels and OMG!! That had to have been the busiest place we went to! We bought a converter for the die cut machine he bought me a week or so ago....now I can die cut my alphabet that he bought with it. (So excited!)
Well, I told James I should be ready by 9:30.....it's almost 9:00 and I'm still sitting here w/my sopping wet hair and my sweatshirt...I better get a move on!
You all have a lovely day!

ITs noon and I am awake!
Tanner and I came crawling home in the wee hours of morning...what kind of mother am I? Geesh letting my kids party all night! IT was our strike party, meaning end of the show party. We partied at the theatre place,,,had audience members not wanting to leave so they partied with us,,,I was shocked and touched by my cast and crew. I got a beautiful framed full cast picture,,,huge. And coffee mug, with To Life on it, and starbucks card....gotta love that!I got flowers and cards...I was spoiled. Makes me exhausted just thinking of all the work that went into doing that show. Which was sold out before it was on. Got complaints from people who didn't get tickets, they begged us for another week. Tanner was asked to audition for a play called Pippin. Thats not till spring...arghhhh
My Santa Fe is great, I didn't get to drive it till in between shows yesterday,,,and have you ever tried to drive a different car in the dark before?
Brandon is doing well,,,hes hobbling around now,,,on his crutches, he can't bare any weight on his foot. We see his surgeon on Wed.
Marti, I haven't had a chicken bone is years! And now I am going to go look for a bag. They are tasty. I love Target...infact the one in Great Falls Montana I know by the back of my hand,,,how sad is that? We are getting Target from the rumors going around,,,we are going to lose our Zellers ,,,which is the company I worked for for years...
Cristi, I don't even have my cards completely done yet,,,not even thinking about decorations for another week then I bring everything up....
Julie, even having kids my dog is my baby....she slept with me or I should say she laid next to me while I slept.
Well Monte and I need to do a Costco run,,,

I'm sorry I haven't been posting ,but it has been a very stressful weekend for my family. Our little Snookie spent the last few days been prodded and probed and shuffled from one animal hospital to another,It has been a very frustrating experience .On Thursday of last week I sensed she was a little under the weather ,she was a little lethargic ,so by friday when she hadn't picked up we took her to our vet , they did a geriatric checkup because of her age and some blood work and sent her home.by that evening she was suffering ,vomiting couldn't breathe ,so because our vet closes up shop at 6:00 pm sharp we had to take her to the emergency clinic. They hooked her up to an IV and pumped her with fluids and antibiotics just in case of infection, they ran every test they could and kept her there till we had to pick her up a 7:00 am and transport her back to our animal hospital because the emergency clinic closes .So we get her back there with her little IV bag still attachted and her x-rays,and still waiting for the blood work results, and we waited ,she spent another night in the hospital, having gone through another experience like this before I asked if there would be someone there with her and their response was no, I don't know if its just me ,but do you not think when you have sick pets in an" animal hospital "there would or should be someone there to take care of them , like humans IV's need to be monitored.I am beside my self with worry ,but to send her back to the emergency clinic for one night it would cost another 200 plus dollars just to watch her .If money was no option I would have sent her back without a thought ,but unfortunately up to that point all the tests hospitals had already cost over 500.00 without any results or changes in her condition, I made a fuss about them leaving her alone and the doctor promised to check in to the hospital at least 3 times during the night, and all I could do was put my trust in her. So finally yesterday some of the test results came back and confirmed that she has a very small liver ,can't rule out cancer ,and she also has hyperthyroidism, and an infection that they can't seem to pinpoint. We brought her home for the weekend she struggles to breathe, I spoon feed her and give her water with a dropper, she's to weak to get around ,she sleeps all the time, and I don't see the prospect of her overcoming this. She has medication for the thyroid condition but it apparently takes a few weeks to see change,if change takes place at all , all we can do is keep her comfy and warm and love her with kisses , she purr's all the time ,even when they were sticking needles in her she is such a sweetie,I don't know what will happen from here ,all we can do is wait and like the vet said we may have to make that decision, I cannot bear to make right now, but I will not let her suffer ,to ease mine.Needless to say the kids and I have had a difficult weekend and I have not been feeling well at all,it could be the stress of the whole thing , but I think I need a checkup to.Sorry for all this depressing talk ,and forgive me that I don't do individuals today I am just not feeling up to it,I would like to thank you all for your kind words and support , not everyone understands the close connection to our pets, for my family they have been such an important part of lives,I can't imagine not having pets in my home regardless of the furballs and occasional accidents, everything is cleanable ,and worth all the love they provide. I really hope that you Ladies are having a great weekend and getting your Christmas decorating done ,I hope that everyone is well ,Angie's Brandon is home and healing hugs to all, Mindee don't worry about what you can give him this year , he has everthing he needs from you and Tommy ,and Love is the most important give you can give Him. Jane congratulations on your continued weight loss, glad to hear you got most of your decorating done ,I haven't finished outside since guess what ,ex's junk is still here ,he came took a little and hasn't come for the rest , so if not by Monday I will have my son take what has no value to anyone else to the dump.don't misunderstand I didn't throw the mans valuables out in the yard this is just junk that came out of the basement shed and garage from our house when we moved that he refused to sort out or move ,I stored it only for what was to be a month or so till he got settled , I waited for 4 years. My basement is now clean although my yard my son and I spent a whole day manicuring for the winter is not,but regardles it will be soon ,and my daughter and I have a workout room now ,my son helped us set it up and we pulled all our equipment out of closets under beds and put it all together in one room, so we are very happy about this .Oh! the whole point of repeating that was it has delayed the outdoor decorating process ,sort of takes the joy out of it , with garbage taking up half your yard. all I can do at this point
I just noticed that it has become very dark and windy .sure looks like snow or somethings coming thats for sure .leaves just went blowing past my window , hey maybe the junk will blow away to.I need to go find something for my upset tummy , but I will try and check back later and catch up with the rest of you girls.
11-28-2004, 02:50 PM
again, for just a few minutes.
Marti~yeah, they were glass santas. One the head broke off in a few pieces and the other the feet broke off. Now had they hit the carpet they would have been fine but no, they had to hit the tile. Oh weel, just more I will buy nest year! LOL Just kidding of course. I'm so tired of decorating right now I will be glad when it is done. But then when it is done, it seems the month flies by and then I don't want to take it down. Have fun today.
Julie~I was talking with DS yesterday and asked if their store (he's the manager) was doing anything like toys for tots or for the Salvation Army and his boss and some of the big bosses don't want to get into it. However, he did manage to talk her into putting a can on the counter for the Salvation Army. They get a lot of business and I know the customers would give, especially the regulars. I was thinking about going and getting some coats at Wal-mart for the needy-they always have a coat drive.
Angie~glad you are liking your Santa Fe. I like mine also except that I am not used to the smallness of it, but there are a lot of things I do like about it. If I am by myself it is fine. And I do know what ya mean about trying to find things in the dark. I am so used to the last two mini-vans I had I don't know if I will ever get used to this and it has been 2 months I think. Too bad you couldn't get the Sandstone color, I love the color. So what color did ya get? Give us some details girly. :) Glad everyone spoiled you last night-you truly deserve it!
Hi to everyone else again!
Okay, I had a few mintues while I was eating lunch so thought I would get on here. Time to get to decorating that tree and get those boxes in the basement. Take care ladies and I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday. :flow1:
Hi Ellen~everyone keeps sneaking in while I am typing away. (((((HUGS))))) to you and your baby, I will keep you in my prayers. I do think that is a bit odd that no one would be attending sick animals and like you I too would be worried, of course I would worry even if someone was there but it does take some of the stress away knowing someone will be watching. Glad the vet will check in. They truly are our babies and ours is getting old and I don't want to think about life without him. Sorry you are feeling bad but it is totally understandable so no need to apologize, we are here for you sweetie. :grouphug:

Ellen, I could just cry thinking of how you must of felt then. And how you are feeling now, and under the weather. Big Hugs!
Cristi I do believe this is the sandstone color,,,or beige as Monte calls it. I do like the color and am really enjoying the vehicle. My only thing is, if I have a passenger I have no place to put my purse....lol minor I know.
Went to Costco, got our chicken breasts, and salmon. Bought 2 books, one from Nora Roberts and another from James Patterson.
I should have a bit of time in the next week,,,planning to relax. I did get an email saying they need me to call for some volunteers for a fundraising thing for Monday and Tuesday,,,hmmm gee not like giving me any time. But I did get 3-4 people, plus myself since I get off work early this month.
Well I need to get some sleep,,,,

Good morning, ladies,
Julie - yay for you getting back on track. I'm wondering what kind of rice cakes you buy? When they first came out, I tried them and thought they were sort of tasteless - did you find a good one?
Cristi - the only good part of shopping last Friday was that DDs and I rarely get to be together like that, because of their schedules. It was so much fun! And of course, what I bought was all at least 40% off! Cup hooks do come in handy! I use them to anchor my curtain tie-backs, lol.
Marti - so we want to know about your day in Portland. That must be comparable to me going up to Indy, right? You and Jhanai will have so much fun this weekend. Your alphabet converter sounds way too cool!
Angie - aww, so glad you had a blast at your stage party! You deserve it! Anytime we've gotten a new vehicle, it takes me awhile to get used to it. When we went from a van to a Jimmy, the windshield was so much smaller, and that drove me crazy! But now we have a van again, lol, to accommodate all the DGDs, lol.
Ellen - glad Snookie has been holding her own.... how is she today? My heart goes out to you, Ellen, I have been through this kind of thing, too. All of the Jaded Ladies are animal lovers, I think. My treadmill is in the DGD's playroom, and oh how I wish I had a separate room for that kind of stuff! Hope your tummy is better today.
Hi to all the others...
Have you guys noticed that if you scroll all the way down at the end of a tread you're reading, there is now a list of similar threads? Neat!
I'm way behind on grocery shopping - thank goodness for the freezer, lol. But we need fresh things, too. I'm just about out of fruit, and the bread is almost gone, too.
I got presents wrapped yesterday, and instead of names, I put numbers, lol, and the kids are hollering about that!! The twins helped hand out the ornaments and then Katie placed them on the tree. We had a squealing-good time!!
11-29-2004, 12:01 PM
Good Morning to you all!!
This one will be brief since James was sweet enough to set an early appointment to get my oil changed in my car. It's been needing it.......although I stayed up way too late forgetting I had to get up early.
While my car is getting pampered, I may head over to ToysRus to do a little shopping....depends on how tired I am. Now....it would be great if I only had to take the car here in town!! But---I have to drive all the way up to Eugene.....James & I have talked about maybe buying a house in Eugene somewhere next year......we do a lot of driving just going to work let alone anything else we want to do. Eugene is about 20 miles from here, and much more actually getting INTO Eugene.
Anyway ladies I need to get out the door....I will post later when I get back.
11-29-2004, 12:14 PM
Hi everyone
Angie~I guess I misunderstood and thought it was the beige, sand color you wanted, I'm assuming you wanted a different color. I keep thinking for a couple more thou I could have just bought a bigger SUV and had more room. Ds calls mine the gold machine. I tell him it is not gold, it is sandstone. He still thinks it looks gold until he actually saw a gold car one day. In the sun it does kind of llok gold'ish but to me it looks more of a light brown. Anyway, I am used to having a place in the middle between the seats to put my purse and such so now it goes in the back if someone is in the car with me. I do miss the space of the mini-van for sure. Hey, is the the same color?
Jane~that's nice. I too enjoy my mother/daughter time, of course my mother/son time also. Now if we could all to something together it would be nice, but individual time is nice also.
Julie~mmmm, rice cakes sound good. :T They have so many different flavors now they are actually good. Like the chocolate, and apple cinnamon-the mini ones.
Well, nothing much going on with me, as usual. Did get the tree done last night and a few little touches here and there. Now to finish up today. I am tired of the mess already. Anyway, no special plans for the day.
Have a good one all.
11-29-2004, 12:38 PM
As far as the rice cakes JANE, I buy any kind, but I love to take the plain ones and put peanut butter and a little jelly on them. Its like a sandwich, without the carbs!!! They only have like 40 calories, and 10 carbs, no fat!! So I figure eating one of those is better than eating a devil dog, right??
Did kinda bad last night, but tried to get back into the swing today!! I had granola w/1 % milk for breakfast, 2 rice cakes w/peanut butter and a yogurt for lunch, and some pretzels for a snack...Will try to eat a big salad or a WW meal for dinner!!! Hopefully get in 45 minutes of workout this afternoon!!
Poor car's right headlight is not working , so I have to get it replaced.. So Im limited in my travels right now, because I have no headlight till the part comes in!! Im going to try to get out and decorate my lamp post today as well!! It rained torrential here yesterday so I couldnt get out to do it!!
ELLEN: Sorry to hear about Kitty, I know its tough, but you must do whats best for her !!!!
CRISTI: HELLO, HELLO......Im working on those xmas cards!!! So you'll finally get a card in return for all of yours!!!
ANGIE: Glad you're enjoying the new vehicle!! Im looking into one of those myself maybe next summer!!! Would like to get some type of SUV.
MARTI: Sounds like you're right on top of your shopping...Im jealous!!
OH WELL, I must get back to work here!!! I'll check in with you all later
11-29-2004, 03:03 PM
Hello ladies…..how are you all doing?
Well, today we find out if Tommy has this new job or not. He will be home in a couple of hours, and I can’t wait to find out for sure!
Brandon has been rolling over from his belly to his back, he has only done it a couple times, but hey it still counts. He is also getting up on his hands and knees and rocks. It is so cute though when he rocks, cause when he gets the burst of energy, he goes backwards, instead of forwards!
I am off to finish checking my email. Then it will be to folding Brandon’s laundry and wrapping some presents to put under the tree!
Ellen~ You speak the truth when you said that love is all he needs right now! Hugs to you and your baby….I will keep you guys in my prayers!
11-29-2004, 04:07 PM
Hello again ladies--
I'm back from sitting on my tush for over an hour waiting for a simple oil change! Found out the timing belt needs changed and gaskets and all that stuff!! Love that car, but it's getting old.
Angie--Well sounds like the chicken bones are good! I've never heard of them so they must only be a candy made in Canada. If you find out the price, let me know and I can send some money and you can send me some..... :D I like shopping at Target, yesterday while in Portland I went to a Target that had two floors! Never seen an escalator that sends your carts up! Needless to say, I was fascinated! :) Glad that you had a great time at your stage party. Bet Tanner had a great time and was happy to have you there with him!
Ellen--I think anyone who has a pet can understand the love you have for them. Our little dogs are our babies. And they are really James' pride and Joys! He pampers them so much. And we would both be devestated if something happened to either one of them. I really do hope your little kitty starts to feeling better! My heart goes out to her. Lots of hugs and kisses to your furry baby!
Cristi--Aww!!!! Your glass Santa's! It is a great excuse to go shop for more, but I would have been sad to see it break. I've been looking forward to decorating but as the days go by...it seems that time is flying by that I'm running out of time! I plan on taking photos of my house once I get all decked out. I would love to see some of your decorations! I just love seeing the different ways people decorate their homes.
Jane--Why did you decide to put numbers on your gifts? I bet your family is just itchin to see who's gift belongs to who! I had a great time up in Portland. James took me to this really good BBQ restaurant....although I thought it was in a bad part of town! The sandwhich I had was SO good! Then after that we split a deep fried chocolate pie. (can you believe what they deep fry?) When it got to us it was two pieces and they resembled Hostess pies.....very good. I told James that now I had to walk home so I could burn off all that I ate!
Julie--I'm trying to get my shopping done. But so far it's only been for Jhanai since James has been with me every time. I'm having a hard time thinking of what to get him, because anytime he wants something...he goes and buys it!! That makes it hard for me. I'm thinking of getting him a weight lifting bar....depending on the price. Any idea's of what to get?? What are you getting for your DBF?
Mindee--Crossing my fingers that Tommy gets the job. I'm sure he will. Brandon sounds like a busy little bee trying to get moving! Miss those time w/Jhanai...but I wouldn't trade times for the world. I truly enjoy EVERY age she's gone through! I'm going to be sad when she's all grown up and has a family of her own!! (that's when I'll spoil the grandbabies!) I know, I know,.....I'm talking WAY into the future! The sweety is only 10!!
Hello to everyone else!!
As I said above...I had a great time in Portland. James and I spent a couple hours in the Expo. Walked and looked at almost EVERYTHING! There are so many cute things that people are selling. I wish I was more crafty than I am. I was happy that we had ate before going in....we didn't sample much at all. Just the pickled Garlic and that's it! After that we went up north some more to a Mall and walked around it for awhile. It was a very small mall. But they had a HUGE carousel in there. Didn't ride it but just looked at it. On our way home, we were making great time with the traffic...then hit Salem (almost a hour after Portland) and we spent almost an hour driving 20 MPH!!! It was crazy. Finally made it home.
I have decided to put my card making up....never have time...and go and buy some cards. The cards I've started will be for next year. Forgotten how work really takes a lot of time!! I should be sending most of them out by next week.
Well I have some cleaning to do and I'm going to attempt to take a nap before work. I hope you are all enjoying your Monday!

How is everyone today? A little update on Snookie , she is still extremely weak but she is lifting her head a little today ,eating small amounts and drinking ,she is purring and kneading .she gets lots of hugs and kisses and combined with her medication thats all we can do for now, but everyday, if she gets a little stronger she has a chance . Thankyou for all your prayers and kind words of support it means so much to my children and me . It has been a rough four days,
Thats a great Idea numbering the gifts,I bet thats driving them crazy :lol:It sounds like you and the little ones had a wonderful time they really bring the season to life don't they.I can hardly wait till I have my own little grandchild. Our exersize room isn't fancy, just the basement, but it will be nice to have somewhere to use the equipment where it doesn't have to be put away all the time, that is usually the reason it doesn't get used .:lol:Have a great day Jane
Thankyou for your kind words,I am so sorry I missed all about your exciting stage party and getting spoiled for all your hard work I know you deserved all of it. I'm sorry ,I was so caught up with my own life ,so Congratulations to you on your wonderful success.I hope that Brandon and Tanner are doing well now.I can only imagine how happy and relieved you must be to have this part over with .Hugs to you all. I hear you also got a new vehicle I saw the picture it looks really nice. It feels good to have a vehicle that you feel safe in ,so enjoy . I hope you are having a wonderful day
Thankyou also for your kind words for Snookie,I really appreciate them. I heard about your santa's breaking thats to bad , one thing I learned ,is once the mantels finished ,don't even breath on it, let alone touch it :lol:just walk away, always something happens no matter how careful you are. it drives me crazy:crazy:I hope you can replace them.I know what you mean about the mess,it does get tiresome doesn't it. Happy thoughts deep breaths and then more happy thoughts :lol:Have a great day
I hope you had a great time Christmas Shopping in Portland, sounds like so much fun.I also am hoping that James is feeling better. It probably be better for you living closer to work ,not as stressful , I hope you find a nice house there ,if you decide to move to Eugene.Have a great day.
Saying some prayers and sending good wishes that the news is good when Tommy gets home I so hope this works out for your family, I know how hard it is to be in that situation, think happy thoughts and don't worry to much it will all be fine I'm sure. You have a beautiful baby boy to lighten the difficult times, and it sounds like he's working on getting ready to toddle, so keep your energy level up:jig:Have a great day and I will think happy thoughts for your family, and thankyou for the prayers
Thankyou for your thoughts about Snookie,It will be a most difficult decision if one has to be made ,that will make it three kitties I will have lost in a year and a half, and it never gets easier ,Snookie is the second oldest and so I have two really old girls to worry about and one 7 year old boy with epilepsy thats always a concern. I hope you managed to get your lamp post decorated , Hope your day is great.
Hi to Everyone else
I hope that everyone is well and having a great day , and getting all your
Christmas shopping done.

Ellen, glad to know your baby is getting a bit better. I don't know of any of the JL not pet lovers.
Jane, can I relate to out of fresh stuff, didn't have bread for days in our house and Monte is a bread man...geesh So how does your number system work? Pretty sneaky...lol I used to put bells and other noisy things into the wrapping so if they shook it, it would make noises. I of course would use different size boxes for everything. I got 2 more gifts this past weekend. I bought my mom a huge platter with little dishes in it. Would only need to put that one thing on the table for snacks.
Marti, I can't wait to go shopping at Target...I have a credit card from there,,,I don't even live in the same country!
Cristi,,,are you not feeling like we are twins? We have the same injuries and same vehicle and color! And the reason I don't like my Santa Fe is the same as you,,,no place to put my purse.
I have a whole 300 km on it already....lol
Well I should finish cleanign up after dinner...we just love the salmon from Costco! I used the George Foreman and grilled them to prefection!
11-29-2004, 09:44 PM
Thinking you went to Jantzen Beach, Marti?? With the carousel and all.....
I am glad you had a safe trip :)
I am not feeling good tonight, kind of have the chills.
Gaby was a handful this morning. She kept going limp everywhere we went. She thought it was funny....*roll eyes*......I kept saying "I don't have TIME for this!!"....
Figured out my response thing, talked with a lawyer today. Going to take off Friday and drive down and file in person. Don't trust the mail.....
Cristi- It really makes it a lot easier if I have my ex's approval. Only because he can turn the girls against me in a heart beat. Just don't need the added stress. I really thought he would be upset but he wasn't so...........I breathed a huge sigh of relief.
Rebecca & Rachel know now too and they seem ok with it. If they weren't I probably couldn't go through with a move........they mean everything to me.
Rocky is a dream though and so sweet. He wanted me to come on at the end of the month and when I get a court date to come back together.......married....
We will see, I rather have this all settled before I go.....
anyway, bone Christmas for me .,.......kind of fun to read about everyone and their shopping :)

Good evening ladies~
Ellen~so glad to hear snookie is feeling better. I am praying that she gets stronger with each day.
Marti~I am having the same problem with DH-don't know what to get him because he keeps going out and getting what he wants! The same with DS#1-I told him to quit buying things right now because if he keeps buying what he wants and needs I have nothing left to get him. Of course for me it is always hard buying for DH because he doesn't need anything. I am always looking for the perfect gift but never find it. Oh well...glad you and James had a great day shopping.
Angie~just call us the bobsie twins. How funny is that that we both bought the same color and kind of car?! *insert theme to Twilight Zone* LOL So how do you like your George Foreman grill? I was tempted to buy one once but never did. I saw a Hamilton Beach one on tv and thought I would like it better but I can't find it in the store.
Mindee~still got my fingers crossed for Tommy and hoping he gets the job. :crossed:
Julie~don't feel like you have to send a card because I sent some. I enjoy sending cards to everyone.
Jane~somehow I missed the number thing. I know I read something about that in a magazine once where you write a number on the gifts for each person. But making sure you make a list with their names and corresponding number beside it and put the list somewhere so you remember who is what number. Sounds like fun however you are doing it.
Susan~that's good that your ex approves and the girls. I do know what you mean about him turning the girls against you if he didn't. My friends ex does that to the kids, well actually it's his young girlfriend that says things to the kids about their mom. Of course it doesn't help as soon as they get home that she (the mom) is pumping them for info and then the fireworks begin because she gets on the phone and the poor gets are torn which is so sad. I don't think there could be anything that the ex could say because I know your girls know you love them and you would never do anything to hurt them. I think he would be happy that you are happy and you found a good man. I am picturing Gaby going limp every where and thinking how cute. I love how kids love to play even though mommy is not in the mood or doesn't have time-so cute.
Okay...hope everyone had a great day. The weather here is sucky-it was cold and rainy all day and now it is snowing. Supposed to get 1-2 inches, yuck! I figure by tomorrow evening though it will be melted and then Wednesday it is supposed to get back up to 50. Not really ready for this cold, brrrrrrr! Anyway...take care ladies, see ya
11-30-2004, 12:02 AM
I think the girls know I love them and I also think they would come live with me. If they could. I think he has in the past used guilt on them to keep them with him.
I just get tired of fighting with him on who the better parent is and the girls know I would never go anywhere that they couldn't go..........my door is alway open, I love them so much.
If they caused a huge fuss on me leaving I would totally melt but I love Rocky and I know he is such a good person.
My step mom goes "now Susan ........you have only been with him a week- he just is showing the good side of himself."
I guess that goes both ways..........I can be really moody and witchy (during pms time).....I have shown him my anger and my goofiness......I think we know each other pretty well.........considering it has just been a week in person......lol.
Gabster is a doll!!! SOOOOOOOO cute.........last night she was so funny in bed,.....

I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well, sounds like the beginnings of one of those miserable flus hopefully you had a chance to get a flu shot .maybe it will pass before if gets hold of you.So little Gaby was a rascal today was she ,somedays they can be can't they ,I am happy that things seemed to go smoothly with your ex and the girls it will be so much better for you all if it can be worked out without to much animosity. I know thats easier said than done, though.I agree that it would be better to have all the loose ends settled before you begin your new life,so you start out with a happy fresh start. hope you feel better stay warm and take care of yourself.
How did it go today for Tommy anxious to know ,I hope it went well for your family
Are your family members present shakers and feelers,I remember those days ,not like I would still do that:yes: :lol:Jane did you hear that ? Cristi has snow and she said yuck , I want some , I'm getting my pail and shovel and going to the midwest
Does your foreman grill have a temperature control or do you have the one without , I have the one without sometimes I find it cooks to fast on the outside when doing meat, but I love it ,I often make grill cheese for my daughter , at her request when she comes home for lunch ,she loves:love: it done on the grill.
Hi everyone else hope you are all having a good night

Good evening Ladies. Glad to have a minute to pop back in here. Things have been hectic for me. Our boys came over for 5 days from San Diego. We had a wonderful visit and a great turkey day. I think I am about to get the leftovers cleaned up. LOL. Tomorrow might be the last in some turkey veggie soup.
Sounds like there has been lots going on in everyone's lives here. Glad to know you are all well and getting ready for the holidays.
