Good morning all! I am soooooo Tired. I had a horrible night sleep, but I'm sure once I wake I will feel better. I have to get moving on my exercise for today!

I am so proud of all of us for doing our exercise. We are going to win this battle.

Ok, I think it's lunges for today, but I have to check. I have to get those in plus 40min cardio and 30 minutes of weight training. My knees are sore. Maybe snow is coming. I have arthritis in my knees. Minor, but a nusance.

Have a great day OP everyone! Oh yes and BTW, I looked at the scale and was at 204.4 this am, so yesterday was a fluke.

:coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Good morning Mel. I'm with you on the not sleeping well. I mean, if you add the hours together it was 8 hours but you have to think about the 3 interruptions and the fact that I'm so freakin uncomfortable that when I do sleep, that's not even great sleep. So hope you get some rest today.

You ladies did great yesterday. I read all my emails from the MLW site and think you all did awesome. Keep up the good work. Is this a 7 day a week challenge or is there one day that you get to sort lack a bit? Just wondering.

Well, my sinuses have hit me a bit. After having a gorgeous day yesterday in the 70's, today is going to be sunny, but WINDY AND COLD, highs in the 50's. We're staying in all day if we can. Unless my dealer calls me with a truck, but we'll see. I'm also hoping I get some of my Christmas packages in the mail today. I need them terribly. I'm usually done by now.
Well, I've got to get off and either start breakfast or plan a school lesson, not that I'm motivated to do either.
Hope you all have a great day.

12-13-2004, 09:40 AM

I am with ya also... :( Andrew slept so long for his nap yesterday that he didn't sleep at all last night... Hope your day is better!

Sorry you aren't feeling well. And on the challenge thingy... I think you can do as much as you want... the more you do the more points you get.

Well have a wonderful day everyone :D

Morning Ladies!
My computer is so slow this morning I wonder what is up! We had 62 m.p.h. winds and snow yesterday, but we made it cozy in the house with a warm fire. Outside it was so slippery several people fell in the church parking lot fortunately no one was hurt. Didn't do anything but talk on the phone and become a lounge lizard yesterday. It is nice not doing anything sometimes! I was thinking of all of you girls starting your challenge today, I wish each and everyone the very best of luck and I will root equally for all of you! This is a good time of the year for a challenge, because it's so tempting to slide into holiday mode and eat a little more than we should!

Crystal-sorry you are so uncomfortable now. Yup! Wasn't there too long ago myself and I am just getting used to sleeping better again. I'm still up and down all night but I don't remember it much. I'm on auto-feed-pilot!
I forgot to tell you what I drive cause I don't like minivans too much either. We have a 15 passenger 1 ton van. No we don't own an old schoolbus! That thing is a gas hog so we only drive it Sundays tochurch or when I have to have more than seven passengers, like if I have to drive children jome from school and I also have the babies to take with. However, I really like Mercury Sable wagon. They don't look like the old station wagons anymore. Plus I don't have to crawl behind seats to put babies in, they are never out of reach. Then I have alot of room in the rear for groceries plus there is a jump seat that seat two there also. It seats seven, and it's way better on gas.

Hi Mel- you workin' out mama! Glad you got your blood work done and you are ready to go too! Sorry you had a horrible night's sleep, maybe you can get some rest in after the gym. Do good!

I better go feed the restless natives, one still needs to get dressed and says she can find anything. She'd run around naked if I'd let her! Really, that's the one that thinks underwear are optional appearal.

I better scoot for now and get this show on the road. I have whites to do for today. TTYL

12-13-2004, 09:54 AM
Hi Penny!
You got in right before me! Hope you have a great day!

12-13-2004, 10:11 AM
Hello everyone? How are you chicks this morning?! Sorry there was so much lack of sleep last night! LOL I slept.. ok.. just for a few hours though. I got up early and did an hour of exercise. Is the lunges 50 on each leg or 50 all together?!? I want to make sure I'm doing everything right! So I would think I'm doing it and logging it down.. and then find out later that I'm not.. That would be cheating to me. Well I'm hungry now, so I'll check back later!

12-13-2004, 12:12 PM
Good Morning Ladies!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day so far!!

Jeniqua, it was great talking with you today! Sorry I had to stop my children from killing each other lol, little rascals fighting over who got to use the feather duster, and fighting over cookies, and fighting over chapstick, this does get better doesn't it? lol
Can't wait to see your pictures tonight!

Mel, I can't tell you how proud of you I am!! You are such a hard worker!! :grouphug:

Penny, what do you have planned for today?

Hubby came home early today so I can get a nap in!! Yayyyy!! He's the greatest!!

Roxy, sounds chilly there!! Its pretty chilly here as well, but all of our snow melted lol. How are the children? I hope you have a great day, and thanks for all the encouragement for everyone participating in the challenge :D

So I'm going to do some school work for this week and I'll be back probably after my nap and exercising.

12-13-2004, 12:18 PM
Good morning everyone. Sorry I have been MIA. Been busy with school,(mine and ds) and Christmas stuff.
Good luck to all of you on the challenge. I might join in the next one. I did get my exercise in today, and my water, and its only 10. I have my last test of the year tonight, and hopefully I won't fail this one. I think though, after last weeks, any test from now on should be easy.
Well, just so you all know, I have met my goal weight. And size too. 145, size 8. If I lose more weight, it will be just a happy bonus. I am going to keep on working out and eating right.
Friday night at school, one of the girls colored my hair red. It wasn't a pretty red, it was ronald mcdonald red. it was terrrible. I went to my SIL's salon to ask her what I could do to fix it. She didn't even say hi to me, she said, get in the chair. Its better now, and fading, so it's getting to be a nice shade of auburn. Anyway, thats all for now. Have a great day.

12-13-2004, 01:03 PM
Crystal, I hope you get some sleep home. Boy it's like a gift when they sleep through and we do too.

Michelle, thanks so much for the nice xmas cards and kind words. Luv ya girl.

Penny, hey girlie. Nice chattin with ya this am.

Roxy, That must be a big van. How many kids do you have again?

Ricci, WOW on that red. Hopefull it continues to warm up a bit.

Jaymi, I think it's 25 on each leg. Ask Michelle to be sure.

12-13-2004, 01:03 PM

Back to work...see you soon! ;) ;) ;)

12-13-2004, 01:03 PM
Hey Ricci! WTG on MAKING GOAL!!!! WHOOO HOOO! :bravo: :dancer: :cheer: Good for YOU GIRL! I hope that makes up for the red hair...don't worry I didn't laugh much. My sister, also a cosmotologist, had the same thing happen to her.BOZO RED! I cried! We laugh about it now. Be sure to take pictures so that you can enlarge them and put them at this person's station for all of her customers to see!

Hi Michelle- kids are all fine, one is still running around without underwear. That's okay, she's the one who just learned potty training and it helps her to remember. Ya know, I do have a weird life.

Hi Jaymi- I forgot to ask you, are you doing the BLC challenge? I hope you are doing good today.

...dreaming...I'm a bikini model running through the surf on a tropical island with the warm sun on my shoulders and the salt water in my hair....Oh wait, that's not me...I have to fold my 1st load of whites, put my 2nd load in the dryer and put underwear on my toddler and breastfeed my baby, and get more wood from the basement, cause it's so dang cold here today...what was I thinking?

12-13-2004, 01:09 PM
Hi Cindi and Mel, stealth girls!

Mel- only ten.

12-13-2004, 01:18 PM
Only ten, don't you want more roxy......

Oh yeh, you'll be in the bikini soon enough. I was thinking I was thin too, but as a good way to keep on track. Keep thinking that way.

12-13-2004, 01:21 PM
Hey everyone sorry for those of you with crappy sleep last night. I slept ok, took me awhile to get to sleep since I am used to staying up and chatting with Michelle and Kristin or doing homework! LOL I was re-train myself though. I am getting ready to get the baby up, eat breakfast and head to the gym. I am excited to get there and get my points for the day for the challenge! Sounds like a lot of the girls already got their points! Oh well I'm on the west coast.

Mel I keep forgetting to tell you thank you for the Christmas card! THat was so nice. Also I'm glad you went to the doctor and had him check you out. Good for you for getting all your exercise in already!

Crystal cool about the truck. Can't wait for you to get it. Should be nice. Do you guys lease or something?

Hey Penny saw you got your exercise in too, now maybe a nap huh?

Hey Roxy, an old school bus huh? lol My in-laws used to drive their motor home around when they had to haul all the kids! LOL However made for a nice ride since there was all the comforts of home in there.

Hey Jaymi good job on the exercise you seem really motivated!

Hello Michelle nice chatting with you as always! Thanks for all the computer help! I am so stoked to get all my stuff in the mail and to get my computer running better, now no one will be able to pry me off of it! LOL

Ricci I was lauging SO hard when I read your post, not about the red hair, but about you sil not even saying hi and just putting you in a chair right away like "hair emergency coming through" LOL I'm sure it will continue to fade, I've heard red has a hard time hanging on to hair anyway. WTG on the goal weight!!!!

Hi Cindi!!

Ok well I no longer need to get the baby up she is crying in her bed. I'll be back later!!

12-13-2004, 03:12 PM

12-13-2004, 03:18 PM
I also wanted to apologize for not posting yesterday but my keyboard got fried and I had to wait for hubby to buy a new one. I didn't get to post my pic yesterday because my aunt was sick and of course I couldn't get on the computer but it will be up tonight after my aunt gets off of work!! YAY!!! Here we go..............

12-13-2004, 03:40 PM
Ok back from the gym and got in a good workout. Also have drank about 32 oz of water and still going. I have a ff sf mocha not to help keep me out of the snacks, luckily we got rid of most of the snacks this weekend so I wouldn't have a choice. Baby is down now and I am going to straighten up a little. If any of ya want to fly a little just IM me on Yahoo. Going to do a little shopping with my mom after the baby wakes up so hopefully I will get some christmas presents taken care of. Got a 10 dollar off coupon in the mail today for JCPennys so I was stoked!

Michelle thanks for the Christmas card!!! Yours was mailed today! LOL

Jeniqua glad you got your puter fixed so you can do the challenge. We were wondering where you were yesterday. Can't wait to see your pics!! I am so excited for this challenge. It makes it so much easier to do it when you are keeping track like we are and supporting eachother. I think it's great!!

Ok back to work on this housel TTYL

12-13-2004, 05:46 PM
Okay I was wanting to go to the moms losing weight site to check on the progress of the blc but I haven't been there in so long I can't remember the site name or anything. Can someone post the link for me?
How is everyone doing?
We finally schooled after having such a rough day with dh and mil coming in and out and this and that. Still working on the truck deal, can't seem to get what dh wanted without making our payment go up and I refuse for that to happen.
Anyways, just enjoying some hot chocolate with the kids. TTYL

12-13-2004, 05:58 PM
Hello everyone! Just checkin in before I exercise again… and while the baby is asleep!

Michelle- Is it 50 on each leg or 50 all together?

OMG, time has crept up on me… it takes about 5 minutes to get on here… and I got 2 minutes to get ready to exercise before my dh comes home and my baby wakes up. I’ll be back In an hour to finish commenting! Bye!

Hello Ladies,I guess everyone had a bad nights rest.My problem is my cats, they like to play at night and now they have to stay in my room because they chewed my christmas lights in half and I had to fix them. Now they get bored and get into basically everything in my room and our bathroom.
Whats for supper girls?I'm getting better at my eating.Tonight we're having baked bbq chicken breast with brown rice and carrots and collard greens.and no bread. That's a hard one for me.I normally love to eat some kind of bread with my meals.I'm doing good at not snacking at night.Even with dh rubbing chocolate doghnuts in my face making me smell them.I shouldn't have bought them but he sweet tooth was aching.tonight will be my 5th night in a row of not eating at night.I went and had a good workout at the gym today and I had a body scan done.I'm 6'1' and weigh 171 and 139 pounds of that is solid muscle, tissue, body fluid and such.I basically have about 30 pounds of fat.She said I was in my range and I know that but I want to be on the above average end of the pole and tone the muscles that I do have.I am finally starting to notice them getting cut alittle.I think thats what helps me keep this up.Just knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel and then just maintaining it.I think that will be the easier part for me.Getting there is seeming hard right now.Well let me hop off here and get supper started.TTyl.

12-13-2004, 07:02 PM
The Lunges are 50 all together, heck I don't care if you do them all on one leg.

I'm glad that everyone is excited about the challenge. I am too!!

Jeniqua can't wait to see your pictures!! I hope you had a great day!!

My abs are sore from doing crunches yesterday lol. But thats a good kind of pain.

Mel, I'm so glad you got your card today!

Well I'm going to get off her and go do my lunges and some exercise.

Lots of love!

12-13-2004, 07:19 PM
Oh I get it, Jill finally gets to post and everyone has better things to do! LOL Well actual quite a few of you posted here but not on the MLW site so I was wondering what was up! Anyway just got done Christmas shopping for a couple hours with my mom and only got one gift. I can't go with Bayley and my mom at the same time. Too many distractions. I just need to go by myself one morning and get it all done. I think that's what I'll do Friday or something. Anyway ate at the mall and had Mongolian grill all veggies and chicken, no noodles or anything bad for me so that was good. Need to get back on the water since all I have drank since I finished 32 oz is a coffee. I'll get on that in a sec. Have to watch Hunter in a few minutes so I hope he is in a good mood. Going to have tacos tonight with 7% fat ground beef, ww tortillas and low fat everything else. Sounds pretty good to me!!

Crystal the site is . I hope you get the truck thing worked out. That sucks they want you to go higher, I know how that is, they always want more money.

Jaymi you sure are exercising a bunch! Geez seems like everytime you post you are doing some sort of exercise. How do you find the time?

Angel good for you for staying on track and having such great stats!! Good job on keeping up with it! Dinner sounds good!!

HI Michelle, what are you up to today? I'm sure I'll chat with ya later!

Ok need to have a few minutes to myself before the baby gets here and wrecks it! LOL TTYL

12-13-2004, 07:21 PM
P.S. is it warm anywhere else today? It's freakin 65 degrees outside right now!!!

12-13-2004, 08:08 PM
Jill, it's barely been over 50 today and that way all week. It's the wind though, that's made it so terrible. Tonight it's gonna be in the 20's. But the sun will be shining.

I checked out all the things and pics for BLC today and I'm so proud of you all and watching your every step to make me even more motivated for the next challenge. So again, as always, good luck.

Okay, just had dinner, now I'll clean the kitchen, fold laundry, give the kids a bath, get them ready for bed and then sit down and relax for the rest of the evening. House went well today and I didn't hear anything else from my dealer. My dh has made this really, really hard for him to work with. Anyways, I'll hear from him tomorrow I'm sure. Okay, I'm gonna go for now, ttyl.

12-13-2004, 08:35 PM
Just a quick post to let you know that I'm still alive. I'm like sinuses are bugging me today for some reason.

Congratulations on your goal weight, Ricci! That is awesome. WHoo HOO!

Well I better help dh with dinner or he's going to kill me. Talk to you all later tonight or maybe I'll be posting in the morning. Who knows.

12-13-2004, 09:01 PM
Hello Everyone! Got my second round of exercise done. My legs feel like jello!!! I think I've lost some inches already!!! I hope so.. especially in my thighs. Too bad our chest inches don't count... because that's where I lose the most inches.. and first. I eat the weirdest thing nowadays. Right now I'm eating a Baked potato with f/f cheese and f/f butter with (get this) f/f catalina dressing on it. And... hot and spicy tuna mixed with mexicorn?!?!? I don't even get it myself. Plus two starches!! But it is kinda hard when you're only eating seafood here. I cooked a pot of cabbage last night... but I hear you aren't supposed to eat it late at night..

Jilly- I break up my exercises into small segments because my daughters attention span is short! LOL So I do 30 minutes here.. 15 there.. whenever I can. It also helps with my metoblism which is sooo slow! Sometimes I get a long workout in If the baby is asleep.

RICCI!!:bravo: :cp: :cb: :hat:  :gift: :dancer: :encore: :cheer: Good Job !! I'm proud of you!!

Wow Angel... 6 feet!!!! I wish I'd be skinny right now!!

Hey Jeniqua!! Sorry about your computer! I can't wait to see your pics!

Hey Penny, Michelle, Chris, Crystal, Roxi, Mel, Cindi, and all you other chicks I missed! I hope you all are having a great day!

12-13-2004, 10:25 PM
Michelle & Chris...thanks for the Christmas cards...I'm one step further...I bought stamps today.

Ricci... :^: :p :lol3: sorry...I couldn't resist! Auburn is a beautiful shade...
CONGRATS on hitting your goal! Woooo hooooooo.
I had a friend years ago that needed people to perm while she was in school...let's just say I nearly had an afro for a month it was soooo tight! YIKES!!

Gotta run, the boys are driving dh batty. Hugs to all!!

Work tomorrow and the boss is back so I probably won't be checking in. :dizzy:

12-13-2004, 11:18 PM
Ricci-I finally read through the posts. Oh my Gosh! Sounds like the luck my sister has when she dyes her hair. She like blue-black and both times she's done it, she's had a reaction to the dye. I took her to the doc the first time because she developed these oozing sores on her head. The next day I had to take her back because her face was all puffy and misshapen. The nurses laughed when we walked in...didn't even ask who she was...and said "ahh, the hair dye problem." They were the same nurses from the previous night. This last time, she had the same she got diphenhyrodmine and prednisone. You'd think she'd learn. She keeps asking me when I'm going to dye my hair. UH UH NO WAY! I'm not looking like her.

Roxy-My bil in Seattle has a big van like yours. They only use it too for when everyone has to go with. TheY also have the "brady bunch" station wagon, right down to the wood panels on the side. We give him so much crap about that one.

Hey Jillybean! How's the BLC treating you? I'm not too sore yet. Maybe I was in better shape than I thought. Naw, it just hasn't hit me yet. Tomorrow I'll be stiff.

Jeniqua-Where is your pic? I was all looking forward to seeing it and... IT's not there.

Hey Geri-This is my first year getting cards out on time. I'm the greatest procrastinator at Christmastime.

Crystal-How's your sinuses feeling ? I have got the worst sinus headache. I don't know where it came from or why, but it hurts.

Well I better get scooting. I bought some fleece to make Nicole a jacket. I need to get it done. I made both Tiana and Kayla memo boards for their rooms yesterday. Some inexpensive Christmas gifts. Kayla's is done in the Bratz material and Tiana has this really cool glittery tie dye aqua material. As soon as I get my backing piece in the mail, I have to sew fast to get Tiana's bedspread done (Lizze McGuire material).

OOPS! Coli is banging around in the kitchen. Who knows what she's in to.

12-14-2004, 01:01 AM
My pics are up. They came out bad. It doesn't help that TOM is here either. Don't say I didn't warn you ladies..LOL!! I got in a 2 mile run tonight. I had to run to my aunt's tonight to get my picture taken. She lives exactly a mile from me. I ran back home too. I had to stop like 4 times but the best part is I ran!! YAY!! You ladies all look great! Here's to a wonderful 8 weeks, just in time for my hubby's and my 6th wedding anniversary..Feburary 13th..WOO HOO!! Have a nice night!
