Hey there girls, I just want to do a quick check to see if everyone got their friendship swap gifts sent off?

12-07-2004, 05:28 AM
Hi Ladies! I'm here :D

Hope you all have a good day and I'll check in later after Andrew's kidney test!

Wish us luck :)

AND Kristen got part of

12-07-2004, 08:26 AM
:coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Yes, yes, I got my coffee. I felt terrible most of yesterday. Just groggy and tired and such. I hate to think I'm that addicted but who knows.
Andrew woke up at 545 this morning after only a so so night, but coffee was calling my name so we went ahead and got up.

Michelle, yes I got my gift sent off. I sent it Saturday, they said between Wednesday and Friday. Actually they said 4 days, I just added that extra cushion.

Deana, glad you got the card, I sent that the day before the gifts so hopefully that will follow soon. I didn't get your gift yet. I'll let you know when I do and same goes to you. For the last time, though, disregard the wrapping. I did a terrible job.

Penny, so glad you're back and we want to hear all about it. Good luck with Andrew's kidney test.

Jeniqua, I don't think that one sip of coffee stunted your growth. I didn't start drinking it until I was 21 years old so I think I was already as tall as I was going to be. I didn't like coffee when I first tried it. That's why I used cream and sugar, but everyone said that I would come around and I don't know how I started drinking it black but I do. I do like flavored creamer in it, but I drink it both ways.

Spryng, where are you?

Hello to Roxy, Chris, Sherry, Jill, Jaymi, Mel, and all you other desperate housewives. Hope you all have a great day.

Today, Andrew will take an early nap therefore we'll school. After that, I've got a few errands to run before I go to the doc. I'm 8 months today and have my check up at 200. I'll let you all know how that goes.
I've got to wake up dh and get him out the door to go feed a friends baby bull calf. Our forecast is calling for 60's and sun for the next 5 days. They will get so much done this week. They won't work on Saturday again, it's our town's Christmas parade and our framer, my mil's dh is riding his motorcycle in it. Actually so is my mil. We're going to that.
But besides Saturday, they will get so much done. Got the ceiling joists done yesterday and today they'll do the rafters. If they finish that, they'll start putting the boards up on the exterior walls. That's what I can't wait for.
I'll check in later.

12-07-2004, 09:56 AM
60's and sunny??? Man oh the 40's and raining again this morning. Just wish that we would either have cold and snow or sun and warm...this in between stuff is the pitts!

Good morning ladies! Now that I got my crabbing out of the way... :)

I'm at work but I'm early so I thought I would pop on and say good morning. I both mailed and received my swap stuff.

Jill...Tony loves my new slippers...he hugs them (while they're on my feet) just like they're a stuffed animal or something. Toooooo funny!

Well, better check my email. Just wanted to say hellooooo.

Good Morning!

We had a little more snow over night so it's really pretty here this morn with the snow dusting the branches and everything. The sunrise doesn't really want to get going, kinda dim yet. Today DS has an optical appointment in the afternoon. Right now,Celine is going around the house in her snow boots singing Silent Night. Cute but weird. Doesn't know the words but close enough in jibberish.

Penny-Hi! Glad you're back, did you all have fun? Do tell! Hope Andrew's test go good today! :crossed:

Michelle- woman, do you ever sleep?! Are you an insomniac?

Crystal- Hope your doc appointment goes good for you too! usual cleaning for me. I was a bit miffed when I woke up this morning and the school children trashed the kitchen making lunches. I just love waking up to a mess! :sp: BBL

Missed ya Geri!

Hi! have a great day, even though it's yucky outside for you!

12-07-2004, 11:30 AM
Good morning. Michelle, I sent off my gift, and received mine too. It rained here all night. Not just rained, but POURED. I failed my test at shcool last night by 1. 80% is passing, I got 78. It was a really hard test though, it was over all the nerves of the body, and I kept getting them mixed up. At least I study. The other girls really failed. I am skipping class tonight because Eric has his Christmas program at school. He is so excited. It sounds like everyone is doing good. I am still exercising, but only 3-4 times a week. Still drinking lots of water, and haven't gained any weight back that I lost. I will be back later.

12-07-2004, 11:34 AM
Good morning ladies!! It snowed more last night here too but the kids ended up having school :D . My son was playing on the spare TV we have and he fell and hit his head on the vent  . I thought I was going to have to take him to the dr's but my neighbor who takes my daughters to school said that as long as the bump is coming out and not caving in he's fine. I tell you, if it's not one thing, it's another..uugghh!! I feel so hopeless when my kids get hurt or are sick

Crystal~ I'm glad the house is coming along nicely. Your pregnancy is almost over!!! Have a lovely day.

Penny~ I said a prayer for your ds. How was your trip?? We all want to know..LOL!

Roxy~ How old is Celine?? My son is 2 1/2 and he does the same thing!! I get such a kick out of it..! We have alot of snow here too. My daughter wants to make a snowman when she gets home from school. I'm hoping my husband will be home by then because the cold and I just don't get along..BBRRR....... :stars:

I better go clean house while it quiet here..I'll bbl. To all of you other moms out there I may of forgotten  ..Have a wonderful OP day :cheer: !!

12-07-2004, 11:35 AM

Anyway, I can't wait for hubby to get home so I can get to work on my school assignments then I want to browse my new text books for the next two classes. One class is Critical Thinking and the other is COM 112 Utilizing info in college writing. Woohoo!! I'm excited to receive my new syllabi for the classes, then I'll only have one more block to go and I can start taking 3 courses at a time if I like!

12-07-2004, 12:18 PM
it worked :) just keep in mind that they aren't totally ready for use yet :) Then when they are all set instead of copying the tracker into your post you would copy and paste it into your signature throught the user cp :)

12-07-2004, 12:33 PM
Morning, morning, morning!
So Michelle, are you trying to say that you got snow and we have none? Of course you're higher up. Darn it! I want some really bad. It is only 25 degrees right now, anyhow.

Mel-Thank you for the Christmas card. My first one...officially this year. My dh got one from his niece and Nicole killed the one I got from my brother's ex-girlfriend before I could put it on my Christmas card holder.

Hi Jeniqua-Did ya figure out a gift for your dd birthday yet? I have one of those playskool doll houses for Kayla. She loves it and the little people. She's got tons of the stuff.

Lookie, we graduated from the Jamaiica Barbie dvd to Swan Lake Barbie. My own personal headache. Anybody want a barbie movie? (just kidding) Nicole likes watching them.

Penny-Crossing my fingers :crossed: that the tests come back with good results. Keep us posted. How was Disney? fun fun fun

Roxy-Good morning woman! I can just picture Celine in her little boots. Nicole's favorite song is "oops, I did it again" and she justs wails the line about "i'm not that innocent". All this mom has to say is, you bet your butt you aren't.

Crystal-How goes it? Exterior boards...sounds like its coming along good. 8 months today. You are so close. Let us know how your appt. goes.

Well, I'll check back later. I have to finish blow drying my hair. The dh screwed up my morning. I was going to exercise before I had to pick Kayla back up but I had to run some dryer parts down to his work along with his shipping for ebay. I bet I scared alot of drivers out there. No make up and my head that got kissed by the "hair fairy".

ttfn. Good morning to the rest of you sahm/desperate housewives. I'll be back after awhile. I gotta get me going and then get this house picked up a bit. I swear they did more distruction yesterday while I was at work. My dh usually cleans but he didn't do it yesterday. Maybe he's punishing me for something.

12-07-2004, 02:21 PM
Hey All, back from the gym with another great workout!!!! I trained for 45minutes and then I did 200 sit ups and the arc trainer for 37minutes. Burned 412calories on that alone!!! Still no weight gone....YUK!!!

Penny, so glad you are home! Good luck with Andrews test today! Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Michelle and Chris, glad you got my Xmas card. I thought the snowmen were so cute! Anyway, no Michelle, I haven't gotten my swap gift yet, but Cindi said she mailed it....I think last week sometime. Can't wait to hear what everyone else got. I know Cindi got her gift from me already.

Anyway, all HOpe you are having a good one. Yucky weather here. Cold and rainy. Check back in later.

12-07-2004, 03:48 PM
Mel's gift was sent at lunch TODAY! I am so far behind on everything with the move. But it's on it's way. I posted earlier this week that there was a mix up with my friend and it didn't get out last week, so I got it back and did it personally. I hope it posted. IT'S COMING, MEL!! and I had to try hard not to keep it for myself. Do keep me posted, we have really bad mail service here, I mean REALLY bad.

Back later!

12-07-2004, 05:27 PM
Cindi, Hey lady! I hope you don't think I was rushing you. I was only saying I can't wait to see it!!! Thanks I'll let ya know when it comes.

12-07-2004, 05:31 PM
I got your Christmas card in the mail today. Thanks. Now its proudly displayed right by Melissa's. My maiden name is Moore. Funny huh? :) If you say your middle name is Ann, I'm going to have to say too weird.

To all-Please be patient. I do have cards too but I'm poking along and haven't sent them yet. :D

TTFN...the kids are running me ragged today. I have been up and down the stairs so many times. I should have a small butt by now.

12-07-2004, 05:41 PM
Chris, I know what you mean about going up and down the stairs. We should be skinny running around the way we do after our

Crystal, ya, I almost forgot, I got your xmas card too. Thanks so much!

12-07-2004, 07:11 PM
Mel, got your card today. Very cute, thanks.

Chris, then it's officially middle name is Ann. Crystal Ann, of course, Moore is my married name. That is too weird.

Okay, back from the doc. Everything is good. I'm officially on a two week period now. I go back Dec. 21st. The appt. after that will be my first "check" to see if any progress is happening. I'll let you all know. I got back and realized dh ate what was suppose to be his leftover dinner for lunch so I've got to go get him something ready. I'll try to be back later.

12-07-2004, 07:33 PM
I am so sad, I had to send two of my dogs to new homes today. I am happy about them having good homes, but miss them already.

Mel...I didn't think you were rushing me, I hope you think it's worth the wait. I am just sorry it's taking so long and I feel bad about it. Story of my life...sigh!

I still have so much to do and can't seem to get any rest anymore, I am exhausted!

Hope you are all having a great week.

12-07-2004, 08:23 PM
Good evening all!
So sorry I have once again been MIA... dh was home from friday until this morning so needless to say he occupies my time, lol. Saturday was an all day family day, took the kids to see the incredibles which was very cute and they loved it. Went shopping and I got a new blouse that is so adorable, wish I could wear it everyday, lol. Sunday was a relaxing day and then monday of course I had to go to work. I got a 100% on my medical terminology test!!! I was very proud of that. So glad that is done. Dh took the kids to get some pics made, we get their pics done every year between dec 6th and 23rd because those are the two weeks of the year my two oldest are the same age! Bubba just hit 4 yo and Ava won't be 5 until dec 24th. So I only got to see the print out so I hope they came out cute. But he spent the whole day with them, bought them new clothes, had Ava's hair cut and styled (which she loved, lol) so it was a fun day with daddy for them.
Anyway, work is going great! Only 3 more weeks of training to go!
Penny so glad you enjoyed your gift! Don't forget to tell everyone what it was, lol. That's the best part! How was your trip?

Well, my dinner is getting cold in the microwave, TTYL!

12-07-2004, 09:02 PM
Hey ladies, guess I've missed all the gift swaping. That's what I get for being MIA for so long.Hope everyone is doing good.
As far as me i've been going to my gym for going on 3 weeks now an loving it.Haven't missed a day.haven't lost any weight though.that kinda sucks.I know it's because I haven't been eating well plus I know that i'm gaining muscle because my arms are really starting to tone up.Their getting the cut effect i've been I'm starting to notice my butt is going back where it should be.Kind of proud of that.Still have alot of shaping and toning to do "back there". :D
I've been doing so much with the kids I haven't had much time to breathe.Their in a church play and their all having christmas stuff at school.Their doing a litttle musical and all the classes are having a party.Katlynns class is having hot chocolate in her pj's at school on Monday.I'll be so glad when the kids are out of school for christmas break.I don't like being stressed i'm not fun to be around.
Well it's time to watch big fat loser.ttyl love to all

12-07-2004, 09:10 PM
Goodevening ladies!
Sounds like everyone is having a pretty decent kind of day. Mine was good. Worked out this mng. Did my 4 mile WATPs but only did 2 miles because I had to get to work. Work went well, and then had my 2nd Brownie mtg after school. We did our little initiation thing and made 2 crafts, holiday cards and christmas ornaments (candy canes) we played a game, learned a song and then we werer done. Very productive if you ask me! LOL! We had 64 degree weather today but rainy and now a wind storm. Winds were 62 mph at the Cleveland Airport. We have a great room and when its windy it sounds like the house is going to blow over. Taylor freaks out! I just hate when the electricity goes out. Only once for a couple minutes this time. So that was good. Before we had kids my electricity went out for 4 days once and ever since then I get so upset when it goes out. I'm making my daughter and son that way too which probly isn't a good thing. I just can't help it tho.
Ok, I'm off to watch the Biggest Loser. I'll catch you all tomorrow.

12-07-2004, 11:39 PM
Hello Everyone! I just want you all to know that I'm back and I'm here! I don't have much time today... as usual... but I'll be back tomorrow to update everyone! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I missed you all!!

12-07-2004, 11:47 PM
I'm here finally! Oldest ds has had the computer since noon! I had to make him give it up.

WI this morning was 3 pounds down and measurements were .5 off the waist. I will get measured and weighed on Monday at Curves so that will be a 1 month point there.

Didn't do a lot today except get myself in deeper with kids stuff! I'm such a glutton and I bring it on myself, then spend the whole time doing it asking myself why I do this! Oh, guess I should tell ya what "it" I decided to crochet little stockings for the take home treats for Matthew's 2nd grade class, and if I have time, for Abby's preschool class. That is a total of 37 of them! I started last night after I found the pattern online. 2 done, working on the third and they are sooooo cute. I have pencils, bookmarks, little notepads to put in them and then whatever the other parents send to put in them. I want to atleast have a couple pieces of candy and a candy cane to hang over the edge. If I can scan one and size it right I will post a pic of one. I have so much yarn in different colors and not enough of any one to make anything else so this is a great project to use it up. But I have 14 more days to make them. I have to have them done for parties on the 22nd.

Michelle: Yes it was sent, just waiting on the good ole post office to get it to Texas!

Sorry to not get personal with everyone, just a couple quick things. :bravo: on the test Spryng! Penny, let us know how the test came out with Andrew. I'm thinking of him. Ricci: Keep your chin up, you'll probably ace it next time. Crystal, you're getting so close! Cindi, sorry you had to give away your babies. Sorry to all having yucky weather. We are supposed to get sun for the next few days and in the 50's.

Well I better go crochet some more

12-07-2004, 11:49 PM
Jaymi: Great to know you're still around! Get back in here girlie! We miss you. How are the kiddos? How are you doing on plan?

12-08-2004, 12:04 AM

Not sure how the color is on this but it's mint green sewn together with hunter green. The reindeer is the bookmark hooked over the side. And my scanner has lines in it....ughhh!

12-08-2004, 12:24 AM
Hi everyone!
Finally! I can post now that I have the majority in bed! I did something stupid today. I forgot to eat breakfast then when I had to leave the house I thought I would just grab something fast. As it turned out I received a phone call that put me way out of time and had to leave with out eating anything! Now I am sooo hungry after supper I want to eat everything I can get my hands on. :moo: Any way that's my gripe for the night!

Crystal-so glad that your doc appointment went good! Is it getting hard to eat yet? I always had terrible indigestion near the end. Hope your fine.

Sherry-glad you got in your exercise and had a good brownie day! 62 m.p.h. is a good blow! I'd be worried it would down a tree on the house!

Angel-glad to see you back! I'm so impressed your arms are getting that cut effect and your behind is going back. That is so great! I'm totally jealous ;)my arms have that drumstick (chicken) effect, I don't even want to think about my butt!

Spryng! There you are! So good to see you! Congrats on the 100% on you M.T. test :cheer: !!

Cindi- I'm glad the move is almost over, that is so much work!! Sorry to hear about your doggies! :(

Mel- you are the workout queen! I bet you are toning up too! Hats off to you!
Do you think that the more weight you lose the harder it is to get it off? At the site that gave the formula for drinking water also said that you should change what you are doing to lose. It is unexpected for the body and kind of tricks it, because it is anticipating how you are going to feed it. Kind of hoarding the weight in a way. Now I can't remember the site name but someone else will, and look it up.

Hi Ricci- sorry about the test it sounded like a hard one! Seems to me that your one of the best in the class and if everyone failed they might do something to make that up. Don't worry... you'll have your cosmotology license right? My sister has her's but I don't think she kept it updated.
I don't think it's as easy as people imagine.

Hi Jeniqua-Celine just turned 3 on the 3rd of this month. She is a hoot! She recently said, "Sometimes I'm potty trained and sometimes I don't." Another one, when DS came home from school for a visit. "I miss you...don't lose me again." That is really my favorite age. Babies are so lovable...and teenagers,well.... But two year olds are in a class by themselves! Bless their hearts!

Michelle- are you just "waking-up" and rarin' to go now?

Hey Deana-were are you? Jilly bean? Penny? I know I forgetting someone...

Btw- somebody tell me what big fat loser is! Is that a reality show or like a game show? Now I'm curious!

12-08-2004, 12:35 AM
Hi Deana! You got in while I was writing my novel! The stocking is so cute! 37 of them? Nothing else to do, huh? I know you'll finish them but whoa! Not busy enough.

Jaymi- Hi!

12-08-2004, 01:18 AM
Crystal...okay that is weird. My given name was Christina Ann. I just go by Chris. Does anybody ever call you Crys? Ann must go with those two names pretty good. I was Moore, then Garcia, then back to Moore, and now a Smith. Glad to hear your appt. went good.

Hi all! Will post more tomorrow when I know everyone is awake. I know you're up Deana...crocheting those stockings. ;)

Night ladies. See you in the morning. BTW I have my Christmas cards almost ready to go out.

12-08-2004, 02:54 AM
