Alright, everyone, let's step it up this week! I'll be back later to post my "moves" after work.....'cuz I'm cool like that. I'm planning on biking and doing weights - arms.
Oops - accidentally posted on the old thread. Repost here:
Well, I'm back in the exercise game after an illness that has just draggggged on forever. I had a harder time with cardio than I expected, but I did 35 minutes of upper body strength training and 10 minutes cardio warmup/cool down. I hope to add more cardio tomorrow, but I'm just so relieved to be able to go again!
Yahoo! 30 min. walk with half up a slight incline everyday, rain or shine.Have to leave Bon Bon at home when it rains but unless it's pouring I still go. It sure does work with the low cals. I lost 4lbs this last week.
Today is my off day. I started the strength training exercises yesterday and who would've thought that 2 sets of 8 reps of sitting down and standing up would wreak so much havoc on my upper legs. I figured my arms would be hurting from the lifting. I tried about 30 sec. on the stair machine. It hurts to walk unless I walk super fast.
Well today was the start of XBOX Yourself Fitness. My legs are so sore!!! I enjoyed the workout it was hard and Maya (my fitness trainer) asked after certain workouts if I found it to hard or a good workout or way to easy. On one part I checked I couldn't keep up. She then said she'd step it down the next time. I went with her rec. today I did cardio. I'm wondering what she'll have me do tomorrow. The only thing I didn't care for was jumping jacks I can't do them because my knees start to hurt. I've decied I'm going to jog in place when she does that. I can handle squats somewhat if they get to hard and my knees hurt I'll figure something out. You can skip certain parts of the workout. I had it on 15 minutes. Now for the rest of my workout.
PamPSM644 I really needed your GO GO GO this morning!! My legs were throbbing for the 15 minute workout and I don't know if I would of moved my bum if it wasn't for you today. THANK YOU !!!!
I pushed myself off the chair and did
WATP 3 mile
WATP 2 Mile
WATP 1
Walking: 2 1/2 miles
legs and shoulders: 40 minutes
Elliptical: 3.8 miles
Jennifer, going backwards helped out heaps. I can't go as fast backwards on the elliptical though. I watched my heart rate and it did not drop to much as to interrupt my cardio. Thanks so, so, so much for the advice.
45 minutes on the elliptical for me today. My heart rate was a little whacked out, I think because I'm still getting over the sickness, so I couldn't go as hard as I usually do. But I'm back, baby!
