We use Mastercook software to store our personal recipes, and also to get the nutrition data for recipes that we put on the site (calories, fat, carbs, etc) It uses the USDA nutrition database.

Someone just sent me this link where Mastercook can be purchased for just $6.97 (shipping only, the product is free), and I thought some of you might find it useful.

Thank you so much for this link. I've been wanting that software forever and 7 bucks is a whole lot cheaper and more affordable.

I was at a Best Buy not too long ago and they had Mastercook (not sure on the version) in their bargain software racks.

Just FYI - the $7 site is Mastercook 6 which I use and like. Mastercook 8 just came out and it's only $20. Has anybody tried it yet?
