We are a great group of ladies (but men are welcome if there are any who care to join us) who have one thing in common. We are all working together toward our goal of being healthier in our daily lifestyles and to lose weight. There are all different ages and backgrounds here and we all have different ways of losing our weight. We all love to have fun and laugh, but we also give a lot of support, encouragement and motivation for one another.

Everyone has their ups and downs and we’ll be here with you thru both! Please feel free to post with us - just jump right in and believe me, you will be welcomed with open arms. The more the merrier!

Hi all... hope eveyone had a good weekend, I am back with a vengence... I spent the weekend with a little too much cheesecake etc.. and night eating too much..
but did lose one pound this week so I am happy with that..
Had all but given up by last night, but today I have renewed faith that my hard work in beginning of week paid off.
Someone said that it will catch up on next weeks weighin.. I hope not..

Hi everyone,
well I didn't have the greatest weekend for op. But I did my weigh in and I didn't lose or gain. I also haven't been able to exercise as much, ( artheritis has kicked in the last few days). See what tomorrow brings. Went and did my shopping for Thanksgiving today, $112 something. I am having my mom and stepdad, son and his girlfriend and my brother and his girlfriend over. So there's only eight, that's not to bad. Then you have to look at the thought of me being a cook and it's hard to even just cook for 8. I will be sending home leftovers.... What is everyone else doing for turkey day?
CJ, I am crocheting the purses, some will be for gifts, hope to sell some. I used one when I went to town and this ladie I know wants me to make her one. So I guess I'll have to get out more with the purse and maybe get more orders.
Well it's supposed to get colder here this week, but no snow. Then California gets the snow.
I just got done watching the movie the Banger Sisters, it was awsome. I'll have to send it to my friend, we were a little wild in our younger years.

Hi everyone! I cpuldn't get in here earlier as my dial-up server was down! Grrrrrrr... hate when that happens. Then we had to go somewhere so am home now and thought I would post a real quickie.

Hey, don't give up the ship! Don't quit - never quit! We all sometimes fall off the wagon, but we just pick ourselves right back up and start all over again! Way to go on the 1 lb down tho! Yummmm ... that cheesecake sounds delicious! Hope you enjoyed it. Now ... get yourself back OP! That's an order! LOL

Soooo, you had no-no's over the weekend too? Hmmm... were you eating cheesecake with Shaun? Just kidding. Hey, at least you didn't have a gain - now you can start this week with a clean slate. Your purses sound cute - good luck with them. And sounds like you're having a really nice dinner for Thanksgiving. We are going out to dinner at the restaurant where my daughter and SIL work ... I don't have to cook! Then on the way home we're going to stop in at "the other place" (Casino) for a spell.

I had such a day today and would you believe I forgot to weigh in? I'm still OP - haven't faltered yet! But, I am going to enjoy my thanksgiving dinner within reason (portion control) ... I'll weigh in tomorrow - hope I lost something. But, if not, theres always next week! I AM GOING TO DO IT THIS TIME!

Going to get my hair cut next week ... going much shorter this trip ... tired of the long hair - so thick and heavy! My hair is much longer than showing in my pic on here and I just had some cut off last month! I'll put a new pic of when I have it done ...

Hey Loon.. staying the same is not gaining...infact you could be just holding tight while your body is movingout all the fat from their little storage boxes.
I have this mental picture of our bodies calling a stop to all production untill we get the boxes shifted ( have to redistribute the weight).. .I know, I am losing it...
Anyhow.. stay OP and we'll be celebrating come Christmas.

CJ.. can't wait to see your new haircut... although you look great now...
Get on those scales girl, you got some weighing to do... how you gonna know if you don't weigh...

Well I am back, I stayed on program yesterday and last night had an apple and some pritzels then went to bed.
I need this group and I need all of you to keep writing... I really think this group is going to be the answer to my weightloss...

Sorry I didn't get in her earlier to post ... I meant to than got busy. Been wrapping xmas gifts all day today ... also getting my out of state pkgs ready to mail out next week.

OK ... I did get on the scale ... was down 1 lb. better than nothing. I am a very slow loser ... but hey, the turtle won the race, didn't he? lol ... I'm glad you like this group ... don't worry, we'll keep writing ... we all need the support.

We got snow/ice again tonite ... the roads are really slippery - we had to go out for a bit tonite .. should have stayed home. Accidents all over the place. I think people forget how to drive in the winter!

Well ... HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone tomorrow .. I won't be home until late tomorrow nite but will try to get in to post ... hope to see some other posts when I do get in here.

I was off yesterday... hope everyone is well and OP...
This is day three of complete OP. I am so excited, my pants are loose!!!, I can wear my turtle neck top and my you know what's are out further than my tummy...
O.k. I will try to come down a bit... but I am really feeling like I have hope again... I have not had that feeling in a long time.

CJ...way to go on the one pound lost... much better than nothing... another 39 weeks like that and your at goal... You will be in a bikini this summer...

Happy after turkey day,
Well I didn't do to bad, Got most everything cooked on Wed. Just had to pop in oven yesterday. And I did eat everything, but only a very small amount of each. Sooo I am happy. Ate moslty turkey. I bought a fresh one this year and wow what a difference. I don't think I'll ever go frozen again. But they don't sell fresh all the time, just holidays. We ended up with 10 yesterday, a couple we know were having their turkey day on Sat. So I invited them over. Isn't that what the days for?.

We got the snow last night, just a dusting but it stuck to the roads. I wanted to be one of thoses stupid people and get to Brainerd (one of my closest towns, 65 miles away) at 6 this morning. NO WAY>>> might go later. Husby has this whole weekend off so he might go with. I never have been shopping the day after Thanksgiving, I hear it's awful, but there is things I want for gifts that are on sale, and very cheap. Well we'll see. And you have your's all wrapped, that's great.

Well keep up the good work. Hope you had a great turkey day. I agree with you about
this group, I feel good when I come on here and able to be honest about screwing up a little. Then someone gets you put back in oreder.
A cute story for you all. I have a friend who is my age (50), she was married once, divorced. Her mom died aand she moved in with her dad. Well many times I have tried to do the matchmaker thing, with no success. I promised I wouldn't do it again, till I met Randy, they have so much in commom. Well they have been dating for a few weeks now, and I got an email from her,"Deb, Randys coming over for turkey day, I think you got it right this time, glad you broke a promise". Well I feel just great.
anyway enough rattling on. Hope everyone is doing well and will check in later.

Well ... here I am for a quickie post ... sorry I haven't been in sooner but we have had company all weekend long and I just didn't get a chance to. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving ... we had dinner with our daughter and son-n-law.

Sounds like your Thanksgiving was very very nice .. Like you, I too just had a small amount of everything ... I liked your story about your friend ... I played cupid too 7 years ago .. I fixed up my girlfriend with a very good friend from my work and to make a long story short, I stood up for her at their wedding!


We're leaving in the morning to go downstate for a couple days - getting my hair cut Tuesday - yeah!

Where is the rest of you guys? Peggy? Slyvia? Alana? Sharon? Hope to hear from you all soon!
