Ramona....I'm sooooo happy the results from your test came back ok!!! :cp: I've been praying for you!! I'm really happy for you!!!!

Doni...Be looking for a letter (email) from me.

I had to take Drew back to Vanderbilt hospital for his routine xray on his Legg Perthes' Disease and it didn't turn out good. He's going Thursday for a Catscan.I'm not going to post it all because I don't want to bore everyone.

Not in a good mood. A lot on my mind........

11-15-2004, 10:37 PM
Sherry, please post and tell us what you found out about Drew, we care. I meant to ask when he sprained his ankle how his leg condition was then. How is he handling everything? Don't think you will bore us with details, I feel like all of you are an extended part of my family and I want to stay up with the happenings in your life.

11-15-2004, 11:40 PM

11-16-2004, 12:02 AM
I didn't mean for my post to sound harsh or for you to feel like I didn't think any of you cared....I know you do! It just seems like EVERYTHING is happening to us all at once. Sometimes I don't know if I can take much more or how much longer I can stay strong.

For those who doesn't know: Legg Perthes' Disease is rare. They found out Drew had it at the age of 2 (he's 16 now). The blood supply cuts off and eats the ball in your hip. He's been in & out of the hospital since he was 2. He's been in & out of leg braces or body casts from age 2 through the age of 8. Now...he walks with a very bad limp and always in pain. The ball (bone) re-generates itself and when Drew's grew back, it grew back to the left instead of in the socket. He has to go twice a year for an MRI & xray.

Well today (I left work 2 hours early for his appt.) we were at Vanderbilt hospital for 3 1/2 hours! From the pelvic to the hipbone, his "good leg" was 135cm, which is normal, but his "bad leg" was 105 cm. Dr.Green said 30 cm was a lot of differences. He's going Thursday for a Catscan to see if the ball (bone) has died. If so, they will do a hip replacement on him March his bad leg was 1/2 inch shorter then his good leg. Today it was 1 inch! That's 1/2 inch in just 8 months which is another sign of the bone dying.

I should find out Friday the catscan results. Please keep Drew in your prayers.

(BTW: The Dr. has taken PE away from Drew today also)

11-16-2004, 12:28 AM
Sherry, when it rains it pours... how is Drew coping through the news? I knew this was a serious condition, but not this serious. If they do a hip replacement, will the problems continue? Tell Drew I am thinking of him and sending him {{{Good Vibes}}} and a {{{Major Hug}}} If you guys need ANYTHING at all, just let me know.

11-16-2004, 06:49 AM
Sherry-My prayers are with you. Please keep us informed. You are never boring us with your problems. I love you!

11-16-2004, 10:22 AM
Sherry, I will be thinking of you, Drew, and your entire family this week. I know this is so hard on both of you. Nothing hurts worse than seeing your babies hurting. I hope you'll take a little bit of comfort in the fact that hip replacements have come a very long way in the past few years. My dad had his in March and was driving and walking without a cane within 10 days.....and he's 75! I just know that Drew will do very well if he has the surgery. And, just think of how he will be free from pain for the first time. I know it is hard to think about putting him through this. How is Wayne doing with his knee? My goodness you have had a lot put on you this year. Well, this year is almost over and I just know that all of the bad stuff will be behind you and next year will be wonderful! By the way, how are YOU feeling????

Doni, I can't imagine my husband ever saying anything like that to me. I might have to apply some knee action to the southern region of his body!!!! {{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}

Gayle, I'm so happy that Allison is feeling better. It sounds like this last round of antibiotics just may do the trick. By the way, she sure looks like her beautiful mommy!!

Do you all have big plans for Thanksgiving? Rick, my dad, and myself are going out to eat. I just don't feel like cooking a big meal for three people. And since we are all trying to drop some weight, I don't need a lot of leftovers sitting around. Besides that, I'm still not feeling very well. Did I tell you I had an infection??? I can't remember. Anyway, the culture came back and it turns out I have E-Coli. Isn't that just lovely??!! I'm on my second round of anitbiotics, but I can tell it is still with me.

I have the day after Thanksgiving off. This will be the first time in 22 years that I'll be able to hit the stores with the hordes of shoppers for the big sales. Actually, I'm pretty much done with my shopping, I just want to get out there with everyone else and see what it feels like!! LOL

11-16-2004, 10:23 AM
Just checking in this morning...

Dee, are you out there? It's unlike you to not check in unless your not feeling well...

Sher, did you get my email??

Baking cakes this morning for a Hospice inservice tonight, I have three to bake and frost, then I need to get my butt in gear and get some craft show stuff done. I have a show this Friday and Saturday and I haven't been able to get anything done!

11-16-2004, 10:31 AM
Ramona, we posted at the same time. I think we are going to do the day after Thanksgiving sales too! I have NEVER experienced it, but I guess it's a blast! We are looking for a combo DVD/video player for Liz.
I wanted to go out to eat on my side of the family, but I have a SIL that shot my idea down within minutes... she is always dieting and tells everyone else how to eat...
I suggested finger foods and healthy food choices, this was quickly shot down too...

Sher, I agree with Ramona, I know it is difficult to think of, but maybe with surgery, Drew will finally be pain free. What an AWESOME thought!

11-16-2004, 06:47 PM
Gayle.....Gayle.....Gayle..... I am HERE!!! Larry had a thursday off last week, Dez came home wednesday night and left sunday. I have been busy baking and decorating for christmas. I have to do everything so slow but it is getting done. Allison is so cute. I could hug her to death. She does look like her mommy. It sure is a worry when your baby is sick. I hope that with the new meds her blood counts will return back to normal. You always know what to say and have wonderful ideas. I liked the ideas that you had for Shelley or maybe it was Sherry ( I forget what....but it was in my notes from when I read the threads) You beat us to having snow. We usually have snow aound Halloween. None yet and the last few weeks have been above normal with lots of sunshine. I am almost done my christmas shopping but I have a few less weeks than everyone else. My house is looking so glamorous and christmasy. I have decorated in gold and a little burgendy. It looks very elagent. I went to a craft sale this weekend and dropped $100, I wish that I could have spent it at your table.

Cheryl that was a wonderful surprise to recieve a card from you. It is beautiful. Did you add the little glitter on it? Congratulations on getting married. Let us know when you pick a date.

Shelley that is so funny about your MIL. Hopefully she will get what she deserves. My MIL is now in the market for a man. She hasn't had one in 24 years. Should be interesting. She lost 40 pounds and still wants to lose more. She is working out at the gym and watching what she eats. Guess how old she is? She is 57 years old. Young isn't it. Thank you for the anniversary card. That was nice of you, I didn't expect it, it was the only card I got except from Larry. I wish that I lived closer to vancover. I am im the middle of canada. Vancover is on the west coast. I am due north of Gayle. I would love to see you. I wish that one day we will all be able to meet. Have you done your shopping for Hannak (sp?)

Ramona how have you recovered from your car accident? Any stiffness? You are so lucky that you weren't hurt. I am glad that your test turned out ok. I said a lot of prayers for you. What an awful thing for that young boy to kill his parent. I am sure that this job is tougher than you expected sometimes. I think that it is a nice idea to go out for thanksgiving. That is what we did. My mom and dad, one of my sisters and her husband and Larry and I went out. We enjoyed it. Oh yes you asked if Jay or Dez remembered our anniversary, no I didn't hear from them. Jay mentioned the day before he might take me out but he didn't. It is over and I am glad for all the wishes from my good friends here.

Doni I am so sorry to hear of your problems at home. I am sending love and prayers your way. Do you think that you could go as a couple for counsiling? The sumject of porn is a very hot one for me. I do not allow any of that in my home. Not the kids or my hubby. I am dead set against it. I think that you are not the one with the problem but your hubby. You do not fall out of love with someone because they gainned weight.

Sherry I wish that you would post any thing that you want to share with us. We care and want to be there for you. I rely on all of you to help me work through a lot of my problems and hurts. We will pray and give advise for you when you share. I am sorry to hear that Drew is not doing well. Maybe if he has a hip replacing he will be pain free. Be happy that you are not in canada. It is a two year waiting list if you want one of the top doctors. There are other doctors that are available but not with as much experience but still surgeons. So if you want a certain doc you wait the two years or if you will take anther doc it still is six month wait. Your whole family is in my prayers. I know what it is like when it seems like everything is going wrong. I have been through my share and fully understand. Everyone here has been such a help to get me through it.

Thank you everyone for the anniversary wishes. It was our 24th anniversary. Our gift to each other is our trip to Vegas. We will be leaving friday Nov 26th. I can not sit long so I will need a lot of drugs to get me there. It makes me a bit nervous about having to sit that long but I really want to go and I wouldn't want to disappoint Larry. We had a shock late last week. Dez came home and told us she was pregnant. She is only 18. I went with her to the dr's. She has been on the needle BC. I don't remember what it is called but she shouldn't have gotten pregnant. I don't think that she should be having sex never mind babies but I told her I would rather she be on BC than get pregnant. She has only been with this bad boyfriend of hers, which she dumped a couple of weeks ago. Ok now I am rambling on, what I want to say is she had another test and it is negitive. She spotted last week so she must have miscarried. What a miricle. I told her this won't happen twice so why not wait til she is married. You can imagine the discussions we had prior to seeing the doc. I don't want to be a Gramma at 41 and I don't want her to be a mom. Whew is all I can say and thank you God.
Well I can't sit any more but I just wanted to check in.

Love you all.

About christmas exchange, if we don't do something now I won't be able to participate, so do we want to and if so who is in?

11-17-2004, 12:48 AM
Wow, Dee, I bet it was a shocker having Dez tell you the news. I use to be on Depo too, I finally got off of it because of too many side effects. It's fairly common with the shot to spot every so often. Thank goodness the test was negative!

If you guys want to do a small exchange, I'm in...or, since money seems to be tight with everyone, we could exchange addresses and do a Christmas card exchange.
Just a thought, it could be a purchased or hand made one card.

I went to a Hospice in-service tonight titled: Grief, Mourning and the Holidays. It was a very interesting session and I gained a wealth of information. Ramona, the pastoral counselor mentioned the idea about a tree for the lost loved one. He read a story about a lady who lost her mother. The first year she had two trees, the regular family Christmas tree and one decorated with her mothers ornaments. By the second or third year, she had combined her mothers ornaments with the family ornaments to just have the one tree.

As a Hospice volunteer, some people seem to think I can just "go on", "I handle it better" or I recover quickly from a death, not so. It was nice to find out tonight that most of the feelings I'm having are perfectly normal. This is a hard time of year for me losing Nancy. I miss her phone calls and our long visits... she loved this time of the year and the holidays. Her birthday is the 29th, the same day as yours, Ramona.
I want to do something special, I'm thinking I may see if I can find a vase shaped like a cat or a kitten figurine and take it to the cemetary. She had a great love for animals, and cats were her favorite.

I baked and frosted three cakes today and am happy to say not one tiny bit of cake batter, crumbs or icing touched my lips! In fact, I went to the in-service tonight and passed up all the goodies! I had my glass of water and cup of coffee.

11-17-2004, 06:31 AM
I'm in for a gift exchange. We could do something small that represents the state we are from, or we could send each other diet stuff???

Ramona-I hope you get better soon. How the heck did you get e-coli?

11-17-2004, 03:40 PM
Gayle yes it was a shocker. The last week I could Dez sounded depressed so in a way I wasn't that surprised. She has msn something to Larry and when he read it to me I made a comment that I hoped that she wasn't pregnant. Good for you not touching the batter or icing. I usually am a pot licker! :) I was wondering how you were doing with coping with the loss of Nancy. That is a good idea about bringing her a kitten. That is sweet and I know that it will make you feel a bit better.

Shelley thank you for the email. Have a good day.

Gift or cards doesn't make a difference to me. Please let us decide soon. My clock is ticking and I would love to participate. I love you guys so much. I am happy that I have such great friends here that I feel like I can share anything.

11-17-2004, 04:06 PM
I like the batter better than the icing! Yum.

Dee, what are kids thinking these days? I keep expecting to hear news like that from one of my sister's kids.

Ramona--sounds like you've had some tough time at work lately. Hope things get better!

Sherry--poor Drew! Sounds like he's been through it! Isn't there any long-term fix for his condition? How's Wayne?

Gayle--you're doing so good in the food dept! Don't know what's wrong with me--pms is part of it, but not all. Everything just tastes so good lately!

Shelley--I thought about you this morning (at 5 a.m.) when I was getting ready to go to my BodyPump class. Aren't you the one that said you used to go to a class like that and really enjoyed it? I tell you, this one is great--I just love the instructor! Wish you could visit me in Ark. just to go to the class with me! Wish all of you could, for that matter!

I like all the ideas for Christmas/holiday season gifts. I live close enough to TX and LA that my person could potentially wind up w/stuff from three states! I'd like to have everyone's addresses, anyway. It's fun to send cards every now and then.

Hope everyone is doing well! Hey to Carol, Doni, Jennelle (wherever you are--hope you at least lurk sometimes!!), Vicky and Debbie!

11-17-2004, 05:52 PM
Cheryl I alos would like everyone's addresses too. I was surprised that you had mine. By the way what little birdie gave it to you? That is quite the commitment you have for going to the gym that early. I think that I would have to say that I would choose evening. Good going!

11-17-2004, 07:02 PM
Cheryl-I have the Bodypump video. I used to really enjoy doing it. As a matter of fact, I'm glad that you reminded me I have it. I just might do a little cross training with it.

11-17-2004, 07:37 PM
No time to post to everyone. I just wanted Sherry to read this and to give Drew a big hug from me. Hopefully the test will go well tomorrow and he will get some good news. I will be thinking of Drew and saying a special prayer.

11-17-2004, 08:42 PM
Sherry I ditto what Gayle said. Drew will be in my prayers. I hope all goes well. Love you Sherry!

11-18-2004, 01:46 AM
Hanging out on the computer tonight. Steve made it home after a week out and is already crashed in bed. Liz just got an 11:00 call to go observe an embalming, I will probably wait up until she makes it back home. I stayed OP until tonight, we had pizza, not just any pizza, but stuffed crust pizza. Back drinking water and back on plan first thing in the A.M.

11-18-2004, 11:15 AM
Srong good vibes are going your way Sherry for Drew. Let us know what happans.

Gayle it is ok to go off program a bit here and there, that is what you call living and you can't diet all your life, to suceed we need a change of habits. Just eatting pizza will not put on the pounds you are right you will be back at it again. How did Liz make out? First time has to be the hardest.

I am off to pamper my toes, after all I am "the princess". Hope that you all have a good day.

11-18-2004, 11:26 AM
Dee, silly, you gave me your address last year at Christmas time so I could mail you a card :)

11-18-2004, 11:29 AM
Oh my goodness, my triceps are so SORE today from working out yesterday! I feel great! Really, my arms in general are sore, I feel like I've accomplished something when I get this way.

Tomorrow is leg day, so I'll be working those B-I-G muscle groups. Can't wait! Now if I could just get this EATING under control, maybe I'd melt some pounds off!!

11-18-2004, 02:11 PM
Cheryl, you must be working those muscles if your hurting...just remember to not over-do it, ok??? You are doing SUPER!

Dee, this was Liz's 2nd time with an embalming, she also got to help remove after a cremation and prepare for another cremation. She has also been through two autopsies, not my thing, but if she can do it, I'm all for it!

I'm not going to post on the food or exercise thread for the next few days, I am up to my neck in craft show stuff! The show is tomorrow and Saturday, so those two days will be shot too.

11-18-2004, 08:49 PM
Drew had his Cat Scan done today and it wasn't the normal scan. It was done with the needle & dye. Drew is in a lot of pain tonight. He said you couldn't describe how painful it was. That broke my heart! Hopefully we'll get the results back tomorrow. The doctor who did the test did mention that his bone was "way too small."

Thank you all for the prayers, thinking about him and asking about him.I truly appricate it. :grouphug:

I'm so sorry that I'm not posting to everyone tonight but please know that I love & care about each one of you. I've got so much on my mind right now, I can't think straight. But you know what? I KNOW God is not going to give me more then I can handle because everything that has been happening in my life can't get worse. Right?

I'll let you know about his results as soon as I hear.

11-19-2004, 06:17 AM
Sherry-I'm thinking about Drew today. I am praying that his pain goes away.

Gayle-I hope that you sell lots and lots of your stuff. It is so beautiful, there is no doubt in my mind that you will do wonderful.

Cheryl-Your soreness will go away the more that you workout those muscles.

Dee-How often do you get your feet done? It is so heavenly to have it done. I wish I could go more often than once a year!

They have moved the shower up to Friday night Dec. 3. Wouldn't you know that I am in a 10K the next morning running over 2 bridges. I normally try to have a good meal the night before and get a good rest so that I can be ready for the race. I think I am going to ask if someone else would help clean up so that I can go home and rest. Looks like all Thanksgiving weekend I'll be baking for the party. It will be at 4:00, right after school at my friend's house.

11-19-2004, 08:47 AM
Good Morning all.

You know the old saying "Best Intentions...." Well that is me. I try to come to post every day, but I never seem to make it. Oh well.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today.

Sherry: My thoughts and prayer go out to you and yours. You and your family have been through so much this year. But as you say, God will not give you more than you can handle. Love to you and great big {{{{HUGS}}}}. Hang in there!!

Debbie: How are you and James doing? I miss you desperately... Please post when you get a chance. SENDING LOVE and HUGS YOUR WAY TOO!!!..

Gayle: Don't get too lost in those crafts... Keep posting.. Your inspire us all to do our best.

Shelley: You are one busy lady.... But you still find time for us. Thank you so much. Hope the shower goes well..

Doni: How are things going for you? Are they getting better with Hubby??

Cheryl: You sure put me to shame with all that exercising you do. You keep up the good work. I am very proud of you!!!

Dee: You get your feet done quite often don't you. It sounds just heavenly. Maybe we all should pamper ourselves more often. After all we are all "Princesses" just like you. Enjoy your day of pampering.

Could I pretty please get everyone's home address? Just PM me. If anyone wants mine, just let me know. I love you all.

Gotta run for now. Sorry I don't have time to post to all of you, but here's Hugs to all of my floozie friends!!!

Have a great day!!

11-19-2004, 02:39 PM
Sherry not being able to post to each of us doesn't matter, just hearing you say you care and love me means more than anything that you could post to me. I know that you have been through a lot this year. God will not give you more than you can bear. I know that because I have been through a lot in the last 4 years, just when I think that I can't take any more guess what? You bet more problems but I do make it through and am stronger person too. You will make it through and you have a lot of people praying for you and your family. I hope that the doctor is pleasently surprised with Drew's results. I understand the pain that he is in from the test, give him an extra hug from me. Hugs makes me feel a bit better knowing that someone cares. I love your angel message about snow. No angels fighting here yet.

Gayle I wish that you enjoy your weekend, make lots of money and that when you pack up all your stuff that most of it has found a new home. I wish I could come and shop at your booth. Make some wize choices what you eat and if you can't drink lots of water. Next week will come and you can get back on track. You are such an independent women, you didn't even mention that Steve was gone for a week until he came back. I don't fair as well as you seem to.

Cheryl you are right I am silly, I forgot that I gave you my address. I would lose my head if it wasn't attatched. Thanks again for the card. It looks so pretty sparkling away on my hutch. How are the muscles today? When you have a good work out they can be sore for a few days. I can't wait til my back is better that I can hit the gym.

Shelley your are so inspiring with your running. I am sure that running with a group is easier than by yourself. That is too bad that the shower will be the day before. What are they doing for the shower? At least the shower will be early. I am sure that they will understand if you don't do the clean up. Don't feel guilty if you don't. When is Thanksgiving?

Carol you are right we are all Princess's. We need to remember to pamper ourselves to and not everyone else all the time. I have a pedicure once a month. I go to a school so it is only $10.00. It is so affordable and it is done just as well as in a salon. It is only a mile away so it is very convenient for me. I will pm you with my addie. I will need yours too. Please take time to post more often and share with us how you are doing. You are down almost 10 pounds that is wonderful. Keep it going.

Doni how are you doing? Are things any better at home? Remember when you feel lonely and unloved we are here. Come to us and we will pick you up. Please post and let us know how you are doing. We love you.

Ramona I haven't heard from you this week. How are you doing? Any news from the boys? I guess sometime no news is good news. How is work going? How did it go with the young boy and his family? I hope that you have a restful and enjoyable weekend.

Debbie how is James doing? Is life back to normal? Are you able to cope with everything? Sure miss your posts. Please post soon. When you see Sherry I want you to give her a big bear hug from me.

11-19-2004, 02:42 PM
Before I forget I would like everyones address too. I have Gayle's, Cheryl's, Sherry's,Ramona's, and Shelleys. I lost yours somewhere Debbie. I know I had it before. Could the rest of you pm me with yours. Thank you.

11-20-2004, 09:25 AM
Thanks to Dee, Shelley, and Cheryl for their addresses. I am still waiting on the rest of you to send me yours. Thanks.

Today is my 22nd wedding anniversary and I have to work... Well, only until noon. I better get running too or I will be late. Talk to you later.

Hugs & have a great day!

11-20-2004, 11:18 AM
Happy Anniversary, Carol. I don't remember your DH's name, but Happy Anniversary to both of you!

11-20-2004, 01:43 PM
Hi Girls:wave:

Sorry I have been MIA but seems there isn't enough hours in a day to get everything done. I go to bed tired and wake tired most days. James is still getting stronger everyday, thank you all for your continuing prayers. I have been keeping up with reading all the posts and hope things will get better for some of you real soon.
I can't believe the holidays are here!! Hoping to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving for Christmas because I have not bought that first gift yet. I'm usually about half done by now. My daughter is going to help me decorate this year, hopefully by next weekend.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!! My sister is having Thanksgiving dinner this year. It will be great to just fix a few dishes this year and go to her house.
Sorry about not posting to everyone but I'm thinking of all of you.
I love you all....deb

11-20-2004, 02:13 PM
Debbie: Great to see you post. I have missed you. I am glad James is getting stronger every day!! Relax and let someone else do the work for a change on Thanksgiving. I am doing the same thing!! Have a wonderful day!!!

For all my floozie friends here is a tidbit of info to consider while your enjoying your Thanksgiving Day meals...

The average Thanksgiving meal contains about 3,000 calories. A 160 lb. person would have to walk 30 miles to burn that off. Eeeeeks!

11-20-2004, 03:06 PM
Carol-I am going to try and run a total of 30 miles Thurs,Fri,Sat. Does that mean I can eat 3,000 calories ;)

11-20-2004, 05:30 PM
Shelley: Sounds like you could eat whatever you wanted if you ran 30 miles. You go girl!!!

11-20-2004, 06:29 PM
My dear husband Kevin and I are going out to eat tonight at AppleBee's for our anniversary. Since I haven't been able to stay OP for some time now, I certainly am not going to worry about it tonight. I will have a drink for all of you!!!

Enjoy your evening my dear friends.

11-20-2004, 09:22 PM
Carol & Kevin Happy anniversary! Have a drink (or two) for me!!!!!!! Have fun and don't get caught acting like teenagers in the parking lot! LOL!

11-20-2004, 09:33 PM
Hello Ya'll

I haven't done much today. Just layed around and resting. We didn't get Drew's results Friday like we thought. They weren't ready. So hopefully we'll know something Monday.

Wow...That is wild about eating 3000 calories and walking that much to burn it!! Happy Anniversay to you & Kevin!!!! May you have many, many more! Do you have my address?

So glad you posted and gave everyone an update on James. I pray everyday that he continues to get well & stronger. Now stop lurking & start posting more with us! I can't wait for us to get together. I sure miss you & our talks & laughs. Hugs to you & James!!

How did your craft show go? I hope you made big bucks! :D Is Allison completely well now?

I wish I had your motivation for walking/running. I'm so out of shape! I need a big butt kick for not going back to the Y. As soon as my life calms down that's where I'm heading!!

I hope I didn't leave anyone out. If so, please forgive me.

Wayne & I had decided not to decorate this Christmas because we really don't have the money this year since he's still out of work. But today we decided to!! It wouldn't be fair to the boys if we didn't. And since Chris leaves for bootcamp in Jan. we don't know when he'll be home again. We don't have much money right now but we CAN make it a nice Christmas if we try.

Have a great weekend. Love To All.....

Sherry I wasn't going to let you get away with out decorating. I know that you love it just as much as I do. Disspite not having money it doesn't mean that Christmas won't come. This might be the last Christmas Chris spends with you for awhile so give him some great memories. You don't have to spend money to decotate because I am sure you have lots of decorations from past Christmas's. Sometimes we forget what the real meaning of christmas is and fall in to the comercial trap. Why not simplify christmas this year and do something different. Only homemade gifts under $10.00. Write letters, poems, or songs to each other and tell them how you love and appreciate each other. Let everyone buy one $5.00 gifts or one $1.00 for each person and play dirty santa and steal the gifts. It is alot of fun. Just spending time with the family and having a nice meal is what christmas love is.
Now about Drew, I know that it must have been a tough weekend for you not knowing what the results of the test were. It is almost over and you will know soon. Not knowing is worse than knowing because once you know what is wrong you can start dealing with it. Hang in there, prayers and love are on there way.

Debbie I am glad to hear from you. It is good to hear that James is getting stronger everyday. It sounds like you and Sherry need to get together and share a BIG hug. I am happy that your daughter will help you decorate for christmas this year. It is hard when you are use to having your shopping done early and you haven't started yet. It always gets done for even the people that leave it to the end. Yours will too, it will work out ok.

Carol happy belated anniversary. Did you and Kevin have a nice dinner at Applebee's? We have that restaurant here and I really like it. I bet it is hard for you to believe that 22 years have passed by.

Gayle are you pooped? How did your craft sale go? I hope that you are sold out.

Shelley did you run your 30 miles so that you can eat a big thanksgiving dinner? You are doing so great. Keep up the running.

Cheryl what did you do this weekend. Are you still losing? You are working so hard at it. I am proud of you.

Today I walked with Larry while he was golfing. This is a record for the last time of year that he as golfed. We weren't even snow golfing. It was cold but not that bad. The golf courses are closed but they let you on the course. It was my first time that I went out with him. Of course I wasn't able to golf but I had a good time.
