Hi ladies!! I started a new thread since technically it is Friday ;)

Okay I just wanted to let you all know that I PM'd everyone the Address list for the friendship swap. I included everyones address so if you wanted to mail out xmas cards or cards in general to the others on the list then feel free to do so! Its not a requirement so don't feel like you have to do it ;)

Well I had another day OP and feel good and I'll be getting my new dosage of meds tomorrow so we'll see if that will help further.

I need to start closing up the hotel now so I better get off here. I'll TTYL!!
love to all!!

:coffee: :coffee: :coffee:
I'll tell you, I slept really pretty good, but am having the toughest time actually waking up this morning. And NOT looking forward to my errands today. I just wanted to stay home.
Well, we went skating last night for Girl Scouts. Alisa didn't really get to be with her new friends. Most of them could get out there and just skate, skate, skate. But she did have lots of fun. And everytime she fell, she'd get right back up and laugh it off. I was so proud of her for that. I walked around with her and she even noticed that after a while, she could lessen the grip on my hand. She had lots of fun. We have a fundraiser to go to on Saturday so I'm sort of looking forward to it.
Dh left all my dirty dishes in my sink last night while I was gone, knowing I HATE coming home to dirty dishes. It was late when we got in so now I've got these dirty dishes to wash before I make breakfast so I can turn around and wash more. Then dh was suppose to drop some papers off at the bank this morning but now he's leaving before the bank opens and wants me to. I don't mind, but the point is it's just him, he can run in and out. I have to drag three kids in and out and it sort of pisses me off. I think I'm moody today, lol.

Hello to everyone, Penny, Mel, Spryng, Michelle, Deana, Sherry, Steph, Chris, Angel, Jill, Jaymi, Jeniqua, Roxy and all you other desperate housewives. Hope you have a great day. I'll try to be around later, but when I'm not in a good mood, I don't like to do much of anything. TTYL

Good Morning All.

Michelle, thank you so much for putting all this together. You're GREAT!!! I hope Santa is good to you!

Crystal, I hope you are feeling better and more awake later! It's crummy here with rain.

PHeonix, Super congrats on the 9lbs down...WTG

Jill, congrats on the size 8, you are awesome!!!

ok, I slept better too, but feel sluggish today. I have to get up and move and get to the gym. First I have to move enough to get abigail to school. so I have to go. check in later.

11-12-2004, 09:46 AM
:coffee: GOOD FRIDAY MORNING!!! :coffee:

Hope everyone is having a great morning so far. I am....have to start getting redy to go get tires and go to Curves, then Abby has preschool. Have to drop off a camera for processing at Walmart. Matthew and the 2nd grade had their field trip yesterday to the Shriner's Circus and his dad gave him a full disposable camera to take with him, naturally he used the whole thing  , so I told him I would drop it off today. It takes about a week to get them back. It was so sweet though, he wanted to take pictures so Abby could see what the circus is like :D . Andrew went last year and I went with them. I told them this year I just can't do the field trips. They are a week apart, next Thursday Andrew will be going to Hallmark's Kaleidescope for journaling and greeting card making. Plus with scouts right after each I just couldn't do it this year.

Yesterday my scouts were sooooo much better. I had been ready to quit if they wouldn't stop acting up and start listening. It was awesome yesterday, we actually got things done. Then we were going around the table and telling when our birthday is so I could write them down. When they got to me I told them it was in 2 days, they said they needed to get me birthday presents. I started crying a bit :o and told them that they had already given me the best one they could by sitting and listening and behaving better. Plus it helped that dh made us a talking stick and I painted it with cub scout colors. They caught right on to that, they can't talk unless they have it in hand.

Well dd is hungry and I have to get dh up to start getting ready to go. I will check back in later.

Hi all,

Michelle...thanks for the really are the BEST :)

We have the Trojan Horse virus...hopefully we'll be able to clean it up this weekend. I will miss you all terribly until I can get back on to catch up! I don't work again until Tuesday so if you don't hear from me....I've probably tossed the computer out the ;)

Have a wonderfull weekend...congrats to all you losers! Jill & Spryng...I couldn't be a size 8 if I starved myself! I'm jealous... but also so proud of both of you.

Ginny...a post from you...wooo hoooo, wonderful to hear from you again!!!!

Take care ladies!

11-12-2004, 11:23 AM
Okay...I see everyone slept better, except me. My RA kicked up last night and I spent most of it awake on the couch, dangling my arm over the side again so it wouldn't hurt. Darn stuff.

This is going to be a short post so I can get some exercise in right quick before Nicole decides to get "creative" for the day. I'm going to pop in Lilo and Stitch and then I'm going to the playroom to WATP. Hoping I'll feel more energetic when I'm done.

Phoenix-WTG on the 9 lb weight loss! That is awesome. I bet you feel great about that!

Michelle-Thanks for the addresses. You are a doll for doing all this. Where you find the time, I don't know. I'm having a hard time keeping up with regular life.

Well I'm going to go shake my buns for a bit. Get some of this extra weight off me and then I'm going to clean up for awhile. I'll check back later.

11-12-2004, 12:32 PM
Good morning.
One more here to add to the no sleep club. My youngest had nightmares on Tuesday night and Wednesday night, so I was up with him most of those nights. Last night though, he slept all night, and so did I, and Now I am feeling sooooooooo much better. I got my exercise in this morning, and got all my house stuff and shopping done by 9.
Jill way to go on the size 8. You know, I have been looking at everyones tickers, and their goal, and it makes me feel like a slacker. BTW, I am down 1.5 lbs, even with TOM.
Michelle, thanks for the addresses. You are so sweet to do that.
Have a great day everyone.

11-12-2004, 12:41 PM

11-12-2004, 12:42 PM
Good Morning Gals -
Sorry I haven't been here much. Just trying to get things done around here before the holidays sneak up on me. I still need to get in the shower and mae some phone calls, then run to dh's grandma's house to give her some cherries  she is "baking"...she really can't cook, but we all pretend that it tastes good, etc. Things just don't get mixxed properly, baked long enough, etc..I have found that with each g-parent that i know ! :) It keeps em busy though! haha.

Anyway, hope everyone is getting sleep now, and congrats to all you losers! We miss you worker bees and to those that are having computer troubles, I hope that you get it all figured out soon! And to anyone that isn't in those categories, I hope your chidlren behave, you stay OP, you get in your exercise, and you slow down if you are busy! :) Okay Covered us all I think! Sydney is awefully quiet, so I better go see wahts up and get the ball rolling today!
Have a wondeful day to you all, I am blessed to call you friends!

11-12-2004, 12:45 PM
forgot to mention that if I ge tthe chance later, I am going to add some more pics to the MSN site, I got the ones back from out house and halloween, etc. I will probably be doing that late this afternoon :)

11-12-2004, 01:26 PM
Hey all, I just got back from the gym. Had a pretty good workout. It's cold and yuckky here today. Hope it's better where everyone else is.... Check back in later.

11-12-2004, 02:21 PM
Kristin, I can't wait to see some more pics!!! I get worried when my girls are too quiet too. lol It's scary when they aren't screaming or fighting lol

Mel, glad you had a good workout!! Its cold and yucky here too, I wish it would just snow and get the first dump of the season out of the way :)

Well back to work on my paper while the girls are behaving themselves :)

11-12-2004, 02:35 PM
I was going to clean my house today...then I broke the dang vacuum. (it was not intentional) I got most of the work done but with my little brood, it'll be undone in no time.

I got 30 min. of aerobics in this morning before Nicole started standing in my way no matter where I tried to go. I would have loved to gone longer. I feel alot more energized during the day when I get that done first thing. I binged for the last couple days. It was uncontrollable. I feel better today about it. I'm not really craving anything.

Looks like a quiet day on here. I'm going to busy myself and get some more stuff put on ebay. I want to sell some stuff to make extra money for Christmas. Make things a bit easier on the pocketbook by adding some cash to it.

11-12-2004, 03:12 PM
Hi all. I'm doing better. Had to get out and run a few errands, then managed to finally get the girls haircut. I am such a procrastinator but the timing was right and I had a few bucks so it's done. Maybe tonight we'll shave Andrew's hair. I'll be next at some point.
Anyways, my mood is better since getting out. I think after lunch I'll try to sleep just a bit. Later I'll have to run to Walmart but at least I can rest before I do that.
Glad everyone seemed to sleep alittle better last night.
What does everyone have planned this weekend? We've got a girl scouts fundraiser tomorrow for a few hours and I think dinner at dh's grandparents on Sunday so my weekend is full enough.
I guess I'll go eat some oatmeal for lunch, it's cold here too. TTYL

11-12-2004, 05:13 PM
Wow, you can tell this is Friday. I've got the kitchen picked up and the livingroom is in progress. I made my grocery list with my WIC items and I cut coupons at mom's house earlier so when dh gets home, he's gonna stay here with Alisa and Andrew while Ally and I go grocery shopping. I figure Ally is getting tired of me and Alisa going to do this Girl Scout stuff so I'll take her with me grocery shopping. She'll love that.
I've got to go get one HUGE load of laundry put away and then I'll be done for the day until, of course, grocery shopping.
Hope everyone is having a good day. TTYL

11-12-2004, 06:03 PM
HI ladies! I'm back for a quikc check in, just got home from running errands! Now I am just trying to get my planner filled out to the best of my ability for christmas and thanksgiving stuff. I feel so blessed that we always have so many sides of the family doing things, but my gosh it is hectic. We have sop far 3 thanksgivings and 5 christmas's to go to...they are seperated out pretty well ( some the weekend before, etc) but my gosh, the holidays will never be over at our house! LOL! More motivation for me to stay OP because through all the family gatherings, for me, that would be a miracle!

Crystal - Hope you and Ally have a nice time, I always said that I would do that kind of stuff too when I have more than one child..Glad you are done getting housework done. SIt and relax!

Chris - glad you got some exercise in, I tell ya, around here its welcomed. Sydney LOVES to work out with me. She especially loves "the grind" = its an MTV workout video, combining dance, aerobics, etc. She is sure a hoot when we start that one up!

Michelle - I meant to ask you sooner, is there any particular 'type' of item for our gift exchange that you were needing or really wanting....I have some ideas, but I'm going to feel you out a bit before makinga purchase! :) My dh says I have a "planning problem" he says I plan way to much. hehe, let me know when you have a minute!

Ricci - WOW! Congrats on the loss AGAIN. What are you doing girl? You sound so busy, are you just not eating anything?? Glad that you got some sleep finally!

Mel - Hi there dear! Glad you had such a nice workout, it feels so good doesn't it? Its cold and yucky here too, we are ready though, it isn't really going to get warm again now, we had the first freeze. It got to about 28 last night!

Geri - SO sorry about your puter, hope you get it fixed soon! :) Check in when you can!

Phoenix - Um...I think I am just not getting it.....potine..what is it?????? What you put on it doesn't sound that appealing, either  Hope you are having a good day! :)

Deana - my goodness....take a breath.....youa re busy mom lately! :) Curves sounds like a great place, I checked out the one here too! It seem really cool!

Well I think I covered all of you....dh is home...EARLY...and sydney is well I'm going to go now! LOL! TTYL! :)

11-12-2004, 06:05 PM
Poutine....ok so you get some french fries....adn then you put some cheese curds on top...then you pour hot gravy on top which melts the cheese into the fries...really quite disgusting that I am typing it

11-12-2004, 06:11 PM
I have never looked so forward to the weekend!! I have been falling asleep by 9pm, so I haven't posted alot. My job is good, as good as this type of job can be! The past two days it's been raining, so no outside time! Today we also had 15 kids, so that was kinda hectic!! I was glad to see the weekend!

I didn't even read the last post or two. So I have catching up to do.

Thanks Michelle for the addresses. You are great!

I didn't weigh this am, but I will tomorrow! I am feeling fat, so I hope I didn't gain. I am not eating much, so I wonder if my body is hanging on for dear life to the pounds I have now!

Go Mel, you exercise fanatic!

Crystal...Groceries for me too, yuck!!

To the rest, I will catch up later, but I miss you and love you all!

Bye for now!

11-12-2004, 06:43 PM
Hey ladies, quickie for me since I have been running all day trying to get this house in order and pay bills before the weekend. I am kicking dh and dd out of the house tomorrow so I can have some quiet time to do some homework. I have just been so distracted lately and need to get on the ball or I am going to be sorry! Anyway I wanted to let you all know that I am down another 2 pounds this week!! YAY I think it's stress. I am eating enough but not nearly as much as I usually do. The funny thing is that I had a McFlurry and oatmeal cookies made with splenda this week and I still lost. My metabolism must have kicked in. Anyway that's the news for the day. Need to get going to the grocery store. TTYL!!!

11-12-2004, 06:47 PM
Ha!!! Kristin, you are so cute lol!!! I'm not really needing anything but I love stuff, stuff of all kinds, stuff of all sizes, stuff of all brands, stuff of all colors, I hope that helps LOL ;)

Cindi wow work has been keeping you so busy you pass out as soon as you hit the bed eh? I hope you get used to it soon :)

Phoenix that poutine stuff sounds really nasty lol anything with the word "curd" in it sounds gross to me lol

Crystal you have been really busy today!! Way to go!! Wanna come clean my house next? My kids room is a disaster!!

Okay well I've got to go run some errands before I go to work so I have to be ready as soon as DH gets home!! I can't wait for his paycheck next week with 20 hours overtime on it ;) woo hooo!!

11-12-2004, 06:48 PM
Jill you sneaky sneaky girl ;) you snuck in on me!! WAY TO GO!!!!! That is an awesome loss!! I'm so happy for you!!

ok gotta go, really I do, see ya!!

11-12-2004, 07:16 PM

LOL! anway, just wanted to say hi! and let you all know that I put a ton of pics on the moms site....of our home, and sydney, etc. Michelle - thanks for the help narrowing it down,,,,,NOT  I still love ya though. I think I am going to give you rocks, like PEnny is giving me. I will shine them all pretty though first ! hehe. Jill !!!! Wow, way to go! WATCH OUT AMERICA HOT MAMA IN OREGON! I am so proud of ya! :) Have a nice relaxing time when the family leaves, get your homework done though! :)

hey ladies,
Guess what?I joined Ladies Choice Fitness club today. :D Yeaaaahhhh for me.Now that i'm paying for it, i'll actually have to do it.It comes with a personal trainer and a nutrtionest(how ever you spell it).It was 20 down and 29 a month for 6 days a week. They had a buy one get one package. It would have saved me a couple of hundred dollars in the long run,but I didn't have 500 to put up front.Tomorrow is my first day with my trainer.I'm excited.Never had a personal trainer before.Maybe she'll be able to show me how to put my butt back where it goes.
More good news for me.If everything goes well i'll be getting one of those Sto -n- Go vans from Crysler. We have an Xterra right now and with four kids.Well it's illegal for us when we all go somewhere together.SO, I've got my fingers crossed. :crossed:
well, as far as being Op today i've done better than in the recent past.I've gotten my water in and ate healthy all day. Then there was supper and I over
did it some. But i'll get better the more I work on it.I've been having the  on one shoulder saying you only live once and a  on the other shoulder say you can live longer IF:.So i'm trying to beat the  up.
Are my kids the only ones bouncing off the walls today?Or is there a full moon I don't know about?Their driving me crazy :dizzy:
Here's a little tip I learned today ya'll probly already know.Be sure and eat 1 protein and 1 carb at every meal.It keeps your bloodsugar in check.Thats what the nutrtionest said.
Well I must go watch scooby doo 2 now.The kids are yelling for me.I'll check back in later.

11-12-2004, 09:37 PM
Good evening Ladies!

Sorry I haven't been in today posting, I read the early posts this morning and had my post 1/2 done when a little finger (I won't say who's) push the surge strip button. Post gone forever! I didn't feel like writing it again. I watched "Supersize" me, there's an interesting flick! Really put the fast food industry in perspective. Hey those fries are sooooo appealing! Not as appealing as "poutine" but hey, yum-yum. Of course that made me behind for the rest of the day.

Angel- Fantastic about joining a club! I think I need a nutritionist too! I have those same two little critters on my shoulders. the  is winning for now, but the  and I go back much longer.

Hey Jill- Congrats on the 2 Lbs. :dancer: !!, have fun at applebees tonight!

Hi Crystal- glad your mood is better, and your house is clean! Your one up on me today!

Hi Chris- I think it's great you workout with your dd, such fun and your teaching her good life habits! HA! You crack me up about the vacuum. Reminds me of my MIL's! When I lived with her (3 mo.s) she wouldn't let me touch her vacuum to help. She said she like things done her way,"I'm very particular!" Well, the very next day she pulled it around the floor and the wheel fell off. Boy was she swearing! I did manage to keep a straight face, well in front of her anyway!

Hi Michelle- have you been keeping busy today? Did you get the rest you needed? Hope you have a good one TGIF!

Hey Phoenix--Woo Hoo!! On the 9 lb. weight loss! Incredible. That is so wonderful. You must of worked off that marvelous Canadian "poutine" off dancing! Well, American cheese fries are just as digusting! But I don't think too many of us Yanks bother dancin' them off!

Mel- glad you had a great workout!

Hi Cindi- sounds like you have a very demanding job. I feel like that sometime too. Can't wait to hit the hay. Hope you get some good weekend rest!

Well, it's the end of the week and I'm down 3 Lbs. It was hard being good, especially yesterday when cookies were baked right under my nose! I resisted.
I also recieved my excercise video in the mail today (No gym in cow town) and I was excited for about two minutes, till I remembered I have to actually do it. But do it I will. I'll also incrementally, increase my walking. Hope that kicks my fat butt around. Well, I think I'll preview that video and see what I'm in for. TTYL

~Roxy :D

11-12-2004, 10:48 PM
Hello ladies!

So sorry I've been MIA... I'm so happy it's friday!!!! I've been so tired like Cindi said. The kids have been going down at 8:00 pm and I follow shortly after. We've been learning so much medical terminology, which is so much fun but really exhausting, lol. But now I can tell you what certain conditions mean, lol... like blupheritis... inflamation of the eyelid, lol... or colonectomy.... surgical removal of all or part of the colon... anyway, it's fun, lol. I'm still trying to figure out how to get out of jury duty next month, I can't seem to get ahold of anyone at the court house, I truly don't want to miss any work days right now. If I miss just one day of training I get so far behind. But I'm working on it.
Anyway, I wish I could get personal tonight but dh is on his way home so I am going to get a few more things done in the house before he adds his mess to it, lol. Actually I've been keeping the house really clean lately, well everything except the kids rooms, they are disasters but I figure I can get them cleaned up this weekend. But when I get up in the mornings and get ready for work I also do my dishes, clean my living and bathroom and my room and the house is really staying in shape so far. Now my eating is a whole other matter. I've been taking my lunch everyday but I've hit the snack machines a few times too... I need to remember to take snacks that are core but I keep forgetting and around 3-4 pm I start getting so hungry to the point I'm shaking so I've been eating junk really... I need to stop or I'll start putting some weight back on. I didn't get to weigh in today because I forgot and now its too late of course... o-well, I'm not too concerned about it but I do know I need to stop the late afternoon snacking.
Ok... I need to get off here. TTYL! Miss you all!

11-13-2004, 12:13 AM
Evenin' Ya'll :D

Been running again all day like crazy! Got quite alot accomplished today though, so I'm proud of me ;) Got some bills paid this morning, then went with dh to get tires on the truck then to Walmart, took dd to school, did my grocery shopping for the next two weeks (except that we'll need more milk eventually), picked dd up, started supper, went to Curves, finished supper...and dessert...but I was good, got dh off to work, my ex came by and talked and talked, now the kids are watching movies I rented today...Garfield, Shrek 2 (which we saw at the theater) and Erik got Van Helsing.

Dh called me earlier and asked if there was anything going on Monday night, one of the guys on the other shift wants to trade nights for Thursday, I told him not much so he is working 4 in a row, off 1, work 1 then off for 4 nights next weekend....WOOHOO!!! Maybe we can get some things done around the house before it gets too cold to do any of them.

Phoenix: :bravo: on the 9 pounds!!! Poutine sounds ok to me, just really fattening! Here we have chili cheese tator tots...yummmm, but I have resisted.

Crystal: Glad Alisa had fun last night! Hope dh got what he had coming for leaving the dirty dishes...LOL! Hope your day got better.

Michelle: Thank You so much for the addys! I had been wanting to get them all. You're such a dear! ;)

Mel: You are doing awesome and are so dedicated to the gym!!! Keep it up!

Geri: Did you try kicking the puter? I know it works with things like a fridge....LOL! Hope you get it fixed soon so you can be back with us!

Chris: Sooo sorry your RA is acting up again. Hope you feel better soon. Glad you still got in 30 minutes of excercise this morning.

Ricci: :cheer: on the 1.5 gone forever! Whatever you're doing, keep going! Sorry you haven't slept well this week, but glad you got some rest last night.

Kristin: Tooo funny about Grandma's cooking  A couple years ago we had a family reunion for dh's side and his Grandma and Great Aunt who are sisters got together and made a gooseberry pie. Dh LOVES gooseberry pie! Well he cut a piece and looked in the pan afterward.....there was almost an inch of sugar sitting on the bottom and the pie was horrible! He never said anything to either of them but did ask his mom about it. She just said you know how Aunt Helen is.....LOL! I am so glad our Thanksgiving and Christmas schedules aren't too hectic. The kids really enjoy staying close to home for the holidays. We will go to my mom's for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, then Christmas day at mil's after we open gifts here. I'm really looking forward to Christmas Eve at my mom's cuz my brother, sil and their 3 kids are going to Tx to spend it with her family. That makes everything go sooooo much smoother.

Cindi: YEAH for the weekend!!! Sounds like you are enjoying your job. Wait til you get that first paycheck ;) !

Jill: :balloons: WTG on the 2 pounds! You are soooo close to goal! You are AWESOME girl! :D

Angel: WTG on joining the gym! Hope you enjoy it. What ever happened to handsome, muscular personal trainers? Or are those just in the movies? :goodluck: on the van!

Roxy: :bravo: WOOHOO on the 3 pounds! You are heading in the right direction now, don't look back ;) ! Wonderful job resisting those cookies yesterday!

Spryng: So glad to hear everything is going good on the job. I would love to learn all the things you are. I've always been kind of a medical buff as far as learning and retaining symptoms, cures, causes, etc. Great job keeping the house clean while you are working even! Have a great weekend with dh! ;)

Well it has taken me well over an hour to get this done. I stopped to spend 45 minutes on the phone with mil. She has been sick so I called to see how she is and she is getting much better than the first of the week. She had the same thing I had back in June and July, so I can really sympathize with her! Luckily she didn't get screwed around at the doctors office and the one she saw got her on the right med from the start.

Ok, I'm going to pogo for a bit. I'm going to try to not do much tomorrow since it's a special day, but I know how that one else in this house knows how to get anything for themselves.....UGHHH!!!! Oh well, I will still make it to Curves in the morning :D .

Have a great night all.
