Default Interesting article re: water consumption

Someone at work sent this to me because they know that every day I'm sucking down 96 oz of water at work (and running to the bathroom every 45 minutes... lol).

I thought it was interesting!

That was really interesting. I figured out that I need about 7.8 ounces of water as a baseline. If I exercise, I need almost 15! And I thought I was drinking enough!

Great article! Some other things I read in the past negated the importance of water (although I kept drinking)...and I was shocked to hear that hazers last year caused a death in a college student due to drinking too much water! It's good to hear a different perspective!

"Bonci suggests that body weight may be a better gauge. "Take a third of your weight in pounds and that's how many ounces you need to drink daily," she says. A 150-pound woman, for example, will need 50 ounces, which translates to a little more than six cups of water."
So to need only 7.8 ounces, you would weigh 23.4 pounds, SoCalMinew? Or did you mean cups?
Am I missing something here?
