Default Found some interesting templates for fitness and meal planning

I want to plan my meals better. Right now I tend to see what's in the fridge, what does my mouth want and then eat. Which...might not be the best way to do this. I think that I eat too much cheese.

I found some microsoft templates you can download for free
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...482871033.aspx

The one I'm really excited about is "Fitness chart for women", they have a metric one too for all you advanced people outside the US . You type in your weight and measurements and the excel program will calculate your estimated body fat. It also charts your weight loss/body fat and wieght loss/BMI.

I can't weight to go home and add all my measurements to it. I never thought to keep track of my wrist and forearm measurements so I don't know how it will work. I think just for now I'll measure what I am currently and use that, I don't think I've lost any in those 2 places...could be wrong we'll see.

Happy planning.
Sarah

You know I'll be very doubtful of that body fat percentage, I put it in and it said I had a 28% bf, which is incorrect by at least 10%. Measurements are good but formulas like that can be way off.

I agree, I don't believe the body fat % are any where near correct. Because it has me at 27% body fat right now and I can't believe that, I'm much more then that.

The template does make pretty graphs of your measurements and weight/BMI.

I did find a much better % body fat calculator online, simple to use and it looks much more accurate showing me at 37% body fat. Because I know that when I was in the Army I was in the "fat boy" program for the majority of my service (....gee, what they do if you are 5 pounds over their "ideal" body weight.) When I weighed 155 I was at 38% body fat.
