I just posted for the first time at SBD last night, but I've been part of 3fc for almost a yr. After bouncing from plan to plan, and causing more harm then good, I've decided to buy the SBD book after my sisters recommendation. My neice who has been struggling for yrs also found great success. They are amazed at the fact they don't crave sweets. I bought the book a long time ago and returned it, but I am going to try again. I tried Atkins induction, and though I did see a reduction in my cravings, I didn't feel very well and my chol. went thru the roof. Just reading the posts here, this sounds much more sensible. I just joined WW a couple of weeks ago and I see Mauv has posted some SBD/WW menus which I think is just great. She's wonderful. (I've been visiting Alternachicks for some time and there are a lot of great gals over there) It also seems like SBDer's stick with it for a long time. That's my problem, I bounce all over and as a type II, I need to find the right WOE and make it a lifestyle change. My other problem is I buy a book and skip around. I feel so overloaded :?: with info from all the books I've read. I have a shelf full. I should probably donate them. But anyway, I will be here at SBD and will probably have questions.(but I usually always find the answers here)

Happy Halloween :)

Hi, Donna! I just wanted to extend a warm welcome to you, as well! I'm just finishing week one on SBD and am loving it! We'll be big losers together! ;)

Hugs!

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Hopefully I'll have the book by Tues and can start wed or thurs. Unfortunately we had a wake for my Uncle today and the funeral is tomorrow, so realistically it will be a couple days before I start.
I hope I have the success I've seen others have. I want so much to feel better.

Thanks again :thanks:
