PCOS/Insulin Resistance Support - Low fat vs. Low Carb ice cream or frozen yogurt?

Which one is the best option for us? I had the Smart Scoop low fat vanilla frozen yogurt, which was okay, but I'm more of a chocolate fan. So I saw the Smart Scoop Carb Zone chocolate "frozen dessert" which tastes amazing! It is low in carbs, but higher in fat.

So which one is the better choice? Any opinions?

The low carb ice cream also has more calories than sugar-free or low-fat frozen yogurt. The only brand I like is from Turkey Hill, the other stuff doesn't even taste like ice cream, though I tried one of the slim fast ice cream bars the other day (our student-run store started stocking them for our diabetic students), and it was pretty good.
Personally, low-carb made me sick. Its my last choice of items to buy. I bought the low-carb slim fast today because they didn't have the low-sugar option at the store I was at. I haven't gotten to Trader Joes to buy the shakes I normally drink, and the 4-pack of these were about the same price. The low-sugar ones are definitely cheaper, and tasted pretty good.
