I just got done watching the movie 'Supersize Me' along with all the bonus features and OMG, I can not tell you how highly I recommend that everyone see this movie.

For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a documentary of a man who decides to eat nothing by McDonald's food 3 times a day for 30 days. What happens to him is stunning. The amount of time it took him to recover is even more stunning.

I think I may even be cured of my desire for those damn french fries. In on of the bonus sections, they compare McD's fries to regular, straight from a potato fries. Guess what - after 10 weeks, the McD's fries didn't look any different from the day they were bought. Ugh!!!

Since a lot of us have been struggling lately, this is a great wake up call. It really documents how food affects our energy, moods, and health. So get your fannies to blockbuster and rent it!!!

Didn't he gain like 30 pound doing that? It's been a huge deal in the magazines lately.

I'll have to rent it. Maybe it'll get me out of my slump.

He gained 25 pounds in 30 days. It was just a little bit of a slap in the face for me. I needed that reminder to think about what I'm eating and what it is or isn't doing for me. It's not really about McDonald's, it's about the whole fast food/processed food industry. Great stuff!

I've had french fries this weekend...I used to eat them every day. Or at least every other. Now? I'm trying to figure out why they taste like greasy, salty cardboard :o
