Gayle-Lavash is some kind of flimsy flat bread that I put in the oven and toast. I bought it at Costco. It is a huge piece and has 210 calories for the whole thing, so I try not to eat it too much.

Gayle your carmel apple dessert looks yummy. I am going to try it but half the recipe. It makes to much for just Larry and I. Perogies (pierogies) for breakfast, interesting! We had some for dinner last night. I remember once Sherry asked me what they were and I said that you guys had them down there but spelled it different.

Dee, the dessert is really good! I agree, it would be better to half it. 7 cups don't sound like much, but is when measured out. I grilled pierogies the night before and had a couple left over. They are only 60 calories each, but feel like your cheating. :-)

the new pilates came out on mag rack and i did a new one,
a dianne somebody and it was a great workout.
i used the pilates band thingy and with the assisstance of that band holding on for dear life i did a roll up!!!!!!
i realy need to start going thru my slimmer clothes,i got clothes from where i was a 9!
my pants are getting baggy thru the waist and seat and my underwear is even getting baggy on me!
my bra is hooked on the last thingy!
my weight has been holding for bout 2 weeks and thats ok cuz i can feel the difference.
thats what im going on.
i can tell and thats all that matters.

Sorry I haven't been posting, but my eating has been so sporadic since my dad has been in the hospital. Yesterday I had yogurt for breakfast, then didn't eat until I took Mom home. I grazed through her food and by the time I got home, my belly was hurting. Mike made me eat some protein, so I had some chicken and then went to bed. I probably ended up with 20-25 points for the day.

Well, day 14 of staying OP came to an end! We went out to eat tonight at a bar like club. I probably could of chose wiser foods, but my willpower caved in. That is ok, I'm back on track today. Who knows, my cheat may even help the scale move!
Gayle dinner sounds good, especially the beer. With this medication I am on I am very limited.
Shelley remember how much better you do when you post your food intake. It makes you accountable for what you eat. I would post what I eat but it is too much sitting. Not that I am eatting that much just that I can't sit that long to type it all. I do keep track of the points that I eat in my head.

Dee, I know I was low for the day. Normally I would of ate something else to get me to around 1100, but with my eating out on Thursday, I decided to keep my calories lower. Basically, I'm trying to stay anywhere between 1200-1400 calories.

Shelley I am glad that you are posting your food. Do you think that you are eatting enough fruits and vegetables in the day? I know that the lazana has veggies and I am not sure how big your salad is.
Gayle the last few days I have had over my limit of points but that is ok because I am low somedays too. If you had a few high days that is in the past start new tomorrow. You are doing so good with your walking. I have not been on this board when you have posted any walking miles. I don't know if you did before I started posting but I want you to know that I am so happy and proud that you are. You can do it.

Thank you Dee! I use to walk all of the time, to the point I would get very upset if I couldn't walk...I missed it. But over the course of having Allison and other home stuff, I just never make the time. I'm taking little steps to make it a habit once again.
I think I also figured out why I "think" I am so hungry. I looked on the calendar and I am about a week away from the big P. LOL!

Dee-My bowl of lettuce is the size of a large serving bowl, and I eat 2 of them!! I know I should be eating more fruits, though. Maybe when I run out of frozen yogurt I'll replace it with fruit. Thanks for the tips. You are so on top of things!!

Shelley, have you ever tried a tossed salad with chunks of orange or a small can of mandarin oranges tossed into it? I like it with a raspberry vinigrette dressing. Some people even add apples to their salad.
Do you guys want to do a monthy food thread (like the exercise thread) or would you prefer to number them and change them after they get to be 3-4 pages long? I know for me, it isn't a hassle to get to the last page, I just click on the page number next to the subject.

Shelley, did you like the lasagne? I have tried that brand and it's not too bad. The meatloaf one is good...comes with broccolli/califlower and a cheese sauce. The only thing I didn't care for, it had a little bit too much sage seasoning for my taste. I really like most of the Healthy Choice entrees, I pair it up with fruits or veggies. I usually try to stay away from the frozen complete dinners, I don't care for the texture of the vegetables.

Gayle I just use the regular peanut butter. I know that no sugar is better for you but then I would be the only one that would eat it. I don't eat it too often though. I will post when I feel that I am losing contol of my eatting.

Dee-The lettuce doesn't hurt me when I am remission. I stay away when I am flaring, though.
Gayle-The lasagne didn't thrill me--too much oregano or something. I wasn't crazy about the Boca lasagne either.
