MichelleRae: Michelle sahm to Taylor 8-25-01 & Teagan 10-13-03 Married 2 years to Zhaun. Plan I'm following is a combined WW and South Beach Diet

Spryng: 24 y.o. married 6 years. Kids- Ava 4, Bubba (aka Joseph) 3 & Tanner 1. Currently on ww, hit goal in April.

Mompen: Penny 23 y.o. Happily Married & SAHM Momma to three active boys, Hunter 5, Nicholas 4 & Andrew 16 mo. Weight Watchers and a bit of South Beach is my way of life.

Loveliam: Leigh SAHM to Liam 10.21.03 & happily married for 2 years. Doing the Weight Watchers thing

Sydsmom: Kristin SAHM to Sydney 09-27-01, married almost 2 years to wonderful dh Began Weight watchers mid-July

Cheri: married to Donald for 8.5 years, SAHM/homeschooling momma to Nathan, 5 (9-11-98), Daniel, 3 (8-29-00) & Elijah, 1 (10-16-02) & doing the low carb thing kinda, lol

Cindi: Mom to 6 boys & 1 mean girl. Plan.. No diet for me! Portion control, exercise & lots of water (most days)

Chubba: Geri..Mom to two boys, Will (3) & Tony (1)..married for 4 years to a great guy..following Dr Phil most days!

Crystal: 27 yo sahm of 3 almost 4. Alisa 5, Ally 3, & Andrew 20 months. Due Feb 1st. Married almost 9 years, live in Texas & homeschool. My plan, when on it, counting calories & exercise.

Good Morning Ladies!!!

GO CHIEFS!!!! They won last night over the Baltimore Ravens 27-24. YEAH, their first win this year so far.

I was dissapointed this morning with my WI. Only 1 pound gone this week. But I feel like I've lost inches this week. I put on a pair of sweat pants yesterday that I hadn't worn in a while and then realized they were the same ones that when I wore them for the first time I ripped the seam below the pocket opening when I bent over. Yesterday they were so baggy I had donuts around my ankles... :lol: . Next week is measurements so we'll see then.

Welcome Cathy, I am Deana, 36 yo sahm of Erik 16, Andrew 8, Matthew 7 and Abby 4. I am currently counting calories, excercising and drinking lots of water.

Don't know what dh has planned today but I have to get things ready for scouts. Andrew has his first meeting tomorrow after school and I am the Asst. Leader and Matthew has his first meeting on Thursday and I am the Leader, providing I can find a place for meetings. I have tried a couple places with no luck so far. I have another place to check today. :crossed: And then Erik has a campout this weekend so we have to get him ready for that. It's in full swing here.

I put 40 more eggs in the incubator last night so around the 25th we'll have even more chickies. I ended up with 17 yesterday. They are soooooo cute.

Well, I need to get breakfast and dd will be up soon.

Chris, I'm sorry about Nicole. I've learned a bit about that asthma stuff too with Andrew. Just when his nose runs I start to panic because the asthma interferes and makes everything worse. Glad she got some medicine.

Penny, wtg on that meal last night. I don't know how you did it. If I go to a buffet, there's no way I can order from the menu.

Spryng, so glad you got to see dh. And my fingers are crossed for that job opening. When might he hear something?

Michelle, wtg on that sleep and that cooking a meal for that family. Hope the walk is successful.

Geri, glad you got the carrots canned. What days do you work, I keep forgetting?

Well, Andrew didn't wake up all night. I slept from 1100 to almost 7, I woke up once to potty. Andrew is doing better lately hope it stays that way. I'm staying home today and stripping beds, doing some laundry, possibly planning some school lessons and working on some other things. I'll check in later. TTYL

Girl! "WEIGH" TO GO!!! :bravo: :cheer: I know it is discouraging sometimes with a 1 pound loss. The scale slows down sometimes :( But slow and steady wins the race :)

I knew something was up with you yesterday. You were way to quiet! Glad you got to go see dh! My hubby wanted Olive Garden the other day but the mood passed. See what Crystal started :lol: That is awesome about the job! I sure hope he gets it!!! WOOHOO!

Ok I am sooo sore today..LOL I did 45 minutes last night and I am feeling the burn... That is a good thing though.

Do you ever get that feeling that you actually "feel" skinner? Not sure if it is just the mindset or not.... But I feel skinner.....lol

Only time will tell TTYL!

:D How is everyone this morning?
I'm doing really well.I've already did my exercise for today.That's a big accomplishment for me.
Today i'm just staying at home an cleaning,I might go and check out the Ladies Choice fitness gym.It's really nice because it's all women and they have a daycare for when your working out.So I might check it out.
Penny-Thanks for the welcome back.How is school going?I'm thinking about homeschooling next year because the school my kids are going to have to go to is really big.I think it's 2000 kids or so and its only the 4th grade.I just don't know if I would have the patience I need to do it.
Who is doing the challenge?I would like to join in if it's ok.Just let me know what it's about.Well I need to get off here and get some housework done.Dr.Phil is coming on.I'll watch it and then get started in the kids rooms.

I'm not a homeschooler. My children go to public school. Crystal and Cheri both homeschool both. The challenge for this week is 4 out of 7 days of exercise at least 30 minutes and a minimum of 64 oz of water. Glad to have you back!

I am gonna get my breakfast down and get the kids moving. I'll be flying in a sec if anyone wants to, just yahoo im me :)

Good Morning! You guys were chit chatting late last night! Whats on everyones agenda today? Mine is LONG, in fact, I should not be here, I should be in the shower getting ready for my day! LOL! Dd has gotten worse over night, she is having horrible coughing fits, so no pre-school today. I am not going to try a gym at all this week.....every day after today I each am babaysitting other family members children or have appts to get to. PLus I talked to dh and we just aren't sure if we should take on another expense right now. I have to do the budget and when he gets home we can talk about it he said! So that is good! I will just continue my walking.running and tapes until we know! I found a few that I liked (over the phone) bt I don't want sydney to just be in a small room and play with toys....I wanted somewhere that she could play and exercise too. Not sure if anywhere has something like that, have to check them out in person I guess!

Geri - haha, We knew you could do it! :cheer: It feels great being OP !!!! Have a great dy! How are you liking your job, and the boys are still enjoying the sitter?

Penny - I feel skinnier too! Who cares if it is a mind set, its a great one to have! It is just another thing to help fight those temptations! What days are you teaching? I was just wondering how that was going!

Angel - Welcome back! We are so glad you joined us again! Sounds like you have a great plan to get back on track! HOpe hte kids start pulling their weight with those cats! LOL!

Sryng - I have my fingers, toes, legs, arms and anything else that can cross, crossed for you! We don't want you to go to work then we will miss you as much as we miss MIchelle.....I don't think I could take 2 of you doing that to me! :lol: Honestly though, you guys are in my thoughts! Crystal-Did you get some sleep last night? How long has Andrew had asthma. I'm almost scared to take Nicole outside anymore. I'm afraid of what I'm going to trigger off in her, but I can't stand staying in the house all the time.

Michelle-I think I read you have a day off today. Have fun with your little girls.

Spryng-Did your new "babies" keep you up all night. I love baby kitties. They're fun to watch. Hope DH gets the job. That would be great!

Good morning all!

Tanner just woke up so another great nights sleep! I can get used to this, lol. The kitten never did come out behind the dishwasher (well it did because I see it left some nice things in the litter box, lol) but it's not anywhere to be found this morning so it must be back behind there, maybe when I run the dishwasher it will scare it out of there ,what do you all think?
Ok, agenda for today... clean clean clean. Since I was gone most of the day yesterday I have lots to catch up on, like dishes, and laundry! So that is what I will focus on and vaccuming my living room. Dinner will be cube steaks with some sort of potato tonight. What is everyone else planning??
Ok, QOTD today is mine so let me think: What is your worst habit and what is your best? My worst habit would be not sticking to certain routines, like flylady... I stick with it for awhile and then taper off and my house gets out of whack, drives me crazy because I always feel better when the house stays in order... also a bad habit is gettinghot and cold over certain things... like one day I'm passionate about something and the next day I want nothing to do with it, I'm not consistant, lol and when it comes to some things it really drives me nuts. Ok, but my best habits would be keeping my kids on a great routine and spending time with them and also sticking with a diet plan for more than 5 days, lol. I'm sure I have more but that is all I can think of for now because I am typing and talking to dh on the phone at the same time, lol... is that a bad habit too? lol
Ok, I'll have to come back in a little bit to address everyone personally. be back in a bit. :)

A quick good morning from me before I go meet with the community relations social worker at the cancer center :) It is sooooo chilly here this morning!! my toes are like icicles cuz hubby left the windows open.

Anyway I'm in for the challenges today water and exercise!

Ok girls sorry so short but since I really have to budget my days off now I have to get going and get stuff done.

Chris, Andrew had his first asthma attack at like a few months. Although they didn't consider it asthma until he had had the same thing a couple of times. It seems to hit him hardest in mid winter and mid summer. It's hard to know, weather wise, if this is what effects him or not. My dh had asthma as a kid, my mom did and dh's brother. I think he'll grow out of it, the older he gets he seems to get it less often.

Kristin, we are suppose to close on the house loan this week. I've got a call into the bank guy to find out for sure but last week he said it would be this week. We're hoping.

Okay, I've cleaned and swept the kitchen, tidied the bathroom, kids are dressed, beds are stripped and a load of laundry is going. The rest of the laundry has been sorted and is waiting it's turn. My bed is made with fresh sheets, the living room has been picked up. My hair is in a towel, so I've got to dry my hair. I can either do some computer work or see if you ladies are flying?!? I've got Alisa's registration form for Girl Scouts filled out and ready to be mailed. So I guess we are moving forward with that. I do need to look on Ebay for a handbook for her and a uniform.

Anyways, if any of you are flying, im me on yahoo, crystaltheavonlady2004. TTYL

okay, I am still trying to think of my best habit: maybe that I'm a positive person, most of the time. I'll admit I've had my bad days, as we all know, but for the most part, little things don't get to me, I can find the good in lots of situations. Although I don't know if that's a habit. Maybe, that I try to make sure my kids get plenty of rest and 3 square meals a day. I don't really like these habits as my best habits so I'll keep thinking but for now that's it.

Okay I'm flying with Kristin and Penny. Maybe up until lunch then after that we can nap and after that, I'll do some computer work and playing around. Dinner is going to be, Baked "Fried" Chicken, Herbed Packet Red Potatoes, salad and maybe some other side. I tried to work from a menu hope I can stick to it.

To those of you that asked, I had a Hysteroscopy, D&C, endometrial ablation and a tubal ligation yesterday. So that takes care of investigating the growth, my horrible TOMs(ablation is like a hysterectomy without removing any body parts :D ) and no more babies for me, which would be dangerous to my health anyway. So all that's left is recovery. Which I am trying to do by making my boys my servants, lol! it's so hard to sit and do nothing! I didn't think it would be! I have to stay off the phone because I noticed when I am on the phone I pace the floors, LOL!! I never noticed til now!!

Deana...1 pound is still one gone forever! YOu won't lose alot every single week, so don't sweat it! Congrats on your loss! It's better than a GAIN, be happy!!!

Spryng...Sure hope that job comes through!!! How great that would be!!

CHris...Glad the doc is helping Nicole finally feel better!

Michelle...You better slow down some, girlie, don't want to crash and burn!! Be sure to take some time to relax!

Kristin...YOu can do lots at home without spending any money. Ihave been going to an awesome nature trail to walk, maybe you can find something like that. I love to walk outside! I have found lots of videos for less than 10 bucks too. So you can do it if you try!!

Penny...I always "feel" skinnier after I have exercised, now that you mention it! LOL!

Glad to see you , Angel! You are doing great today!!

Hello to Jessica and Cathy, welcome to our group! You will love it and feel at home in no time!!(Okay, so that's my own biased opinion, but I think you will agree, LOL!)

Girls, I went into surgery with one of the WORST TOMs I have ever had!! I am here to tell you that today it is GONE!!!!! Even with all they did "down there" I have NO bleeding. So any of you that have bad ones each month might want to look into the ablation(called Nova Sure) if mine continues to go this well!! Sorry if that's TMI but I am really amazed so far!!

Getting dizzy, need to go rest some! Sorry t anyone I missed!

Hello everyone! I am having a great morning!!! I went to the gym and had my personal training appointment. It was awesome. I told the girl, what I wanted and what my goals were. I told her I wanted to be pushed. When I feel I've about had it, to push me to do more. Well, that's what she did. It was the best workout I ever had. I think I am going to hire her through the gym. It's expensive, but I think I will do it for 10 weeks, twice a week, if dh says it's ok money wise. I'm sure it'l be fine. I know he is so supportive of me and wants me to succeed. If figure, If I do ten weeks, twice a week with her, I can be 20 lbs by Christmas. That would be FANTASTIC. I am so excited!

On another note. The mylanta is working for Bugga. He is only getting up once a night now for a drink and I think that's just habit. I certainly can handle that. I don't mind getting up once. I use it as an excuse to get up and go to the bathroom. lol

Kristin, I'm sorry the Syd isn't feeling better today. Poor thing. Listen, don't push yourself money wise to go to the gym. I will hound you to do the work at home. You will do great!

Deana, did one chick not make it the other day? I though you were going to have 18. I can't believe you are going to have over 40 soon. WOW! Hope you are having a good day. Good luck with getting in exercise and water today. I need to drink more....yell at me. I usually drink soooo much it's crazt, but since the gym, I've been so busy, that I havn't focased on it as much.

Penny, hello, how r u today....Did you get in that exercise????? Huh, did ja, didja didja?? No, I didn't peek at the scale. Tom is bloating me, so I didn't want to get discouraged. I probably won't get TOM till next week though. YUK. I just have to really watch the salt intake and drink drink drink. I know, I'm getting in the exercise, so that's not a problem.

Spryng, I bet you feel great that Tanner is sleeping so well. I kind of feel like that with Bugga. Just getting up once is WONDERFUL... Good luck getting in all that cleaning today. I need to work on some too today, laundry to do and fold..... I have been concentrating on me so much lately, that I have been negleting this house a tad. It's not too bad, but needs a bit of tlc.

Cindi, How r u feeling today. You need to rest. No phone calls, so you don't pace. I hope the dizziness disapates soon. Take it easy. We Luv ya and you are in my prayers for a speedy recovery.

Chris, how ru today? Did you get in any exercise? How r u doing with water? ARe you on the water challange?

Angel, it's nice to here from you again. We are all doing a water challange, of drinking 64oz-100oz per day. The other challange is to exercise for 30 minutes 4 times a week. every few weeks we will change it just a bit to make it more interesting.

Crystal, how is Andrew sleeping lately? How ru sleeping? I bet your belly is starting to get bigger huh. Is the baby moving around alot yet? Do the kids touch your belly and feel he/she move? Abigail used to put little blocks and little people on my belly and Patrick would kick and bounce or kick them off all togther. It was her way of playing with him before he was born. So cute.

I hope I didn't miss anyone. Hope you are all having a good day. Oh gosh, I here bugga up from his nap and he was only in there for 1/2 hour....very unusual. I guess that's all the time I'll get to myself to get things done. uhhhh. TTYL

My worst habit, according to my husband is that I say "and stuff" to much. He actually counts how many times I say it. I also have a tendency to think negatively about lots of things. I think my worst habit is chewing on my fingernails. BAD!

My best habit is that I always have to be on time. I hate being late to anything. I'm a nag in the morning trying to get the kids to school on time. Lateness, I guess is a pet peeve of mine so I try to not be late.

Crystal-My MIL and SIL have asthma. On my husband's side their is alot of respiratory problems so I'm sure that is what Nicole is going to have to deal with. She acts so much better today. It's amazing.

Mel-Yes I'm drinking my water. I've flooded myself with about 30 oz. so far. Exercise...I got in a 20 min. walk to the kids' school. But that doesn't really count since I do it all the time. I wish I could exercise first thing in the morning but my feet and arms hurt the worst from this stupid rheumatoid arthritis at that time. I'm going to have to shoot for afternoon or evening exercise.

Cindi-oh my gosh, girl! I'm surprised you're even moving at all. I'd be laying on the bed watching Dr. Phil and demanding some pampering from the family.
I wouldn't even move an inch. Hope you're not in too much pain. Ouch.

Well, It's time to go get Kayla from kindergarten. Then back home for some more flying. I got my kitchen mostly done, the laundry folded and put away. Now I got more laundry to do. I swear the stuff multiplies. TTFN and I'll check back wit cha later, girlies.

Chris, maybe you could just continue the walk to school and add ten minutes to it. Then you will have in your 30 minutes and your done. You can count the walk to school as exercise...why not? Just walk 10 minutes longer. then you don't even have to find time in the afternoon.

Thanks for the idea. I'll have to do that. I have noticed that walking does help. I can actually jog for little bits at a time without even getting out of breath. My legs hurt the next day, but.... I wish I had alot more time to walk. I just love looking at my surroundings and being outside. There is no distractions and you can just go where you want. I don't get much time for that kind of walking by myself because my DH works alot. We had to get a different vehicle to drive so he took on some part-time work in the evening to pay for the thing. I wish he'd relax and let me do some part-time night job. When I was married to my ex, I worked nights cleaning. Let me tell you, the weight was dropping off me fast, and I got paid for it too.

Well ladies, I am off. I have to go return some stuff to my sister-and sneak some baby time in with her little one. Returning her bowl is just an excuse to see my nephews. TTFN.

Hello all you chatty girls! I just got back from the gym and had a great workout! Still sweating from it! I also am very sore from my weight lifting yesterday so that is nice too! Anyway I feel great today and peeked at the scale and I am only up a half pound from my crazy week last week with TOM and being off plan and no exercise so that is good too! I hope that I can at least get that half pound off and I'm sure I can if I just get in my exercise, eat right and get in my water. I've only got about 20 oz. down so far today but it's still early. I'm drinking my daily ff/sf kahlua kicker coffe right now (don't worry not REAL Kahlua!!) it helps me not to want bad snacks cuz it's sweet and I can sip on it all day. Actually I think I owe a lot of my weight loss to these coffees cuz it really does help me stay away from junk cuz I feel like I am having a treat.

Anyway I need to do some major work on this house. Mel, I have been neglecting my house and focusing on myslef too so I am right there with you! I need to get a chicken in the crock pot so it will be ready for dinner tonight. We are going to try and get our pictures taken tonight so cross your fingers we can get out of the house looking decent tonight! LOL I need to call a plumber too so that he can fix our leaky kitchen and bathroom faucet, our liquid gold water is running down the drain! Dh just isn't keen on doing home projects after a hard days work and I don't blame him so I will just call a professional and get it taken care of once and for all. So that is what I am up to in a nut shell. Baby is sleeping so I will get personal and then see if you all want to still challenge even though you've been doing it for a few hours already!! I'm mad I missed it!!

Deana I would be thrilled with a 1 pound down WI!! I know how you feel thought cuz after my first month of losing a couple pounds a week it tapered down to 1 or .5 a week and then I hit a plateau and wasn't losing anything! Don't get down though, your body is adjusting to the new weight and the fact that those sweat pants are loose on you is great!! Hi Chris! I say and stuff a lot too! My dh says "or whatever" a lot and that bugs me. I also don't like to be late and am always a little early to whatever I am going to. However my mom was a constant 30-40 minutes early to everything and that bugged people so I try to be a little later than that. My dh comes from a family that is constantly late to EVERYTHING, for example my daughter first birthday!! Ya I'm a little annoyed since they live 5 minutes away. So anyway my dh and I mesh well cuz I have "too early" genes and he has "late" genes so together we are right on time! LOL Hope you are getting everything done that you needed to, I'm not!! LOL cuz I am on this thing!

Spryng AWESOME about the local job!! I so hope he gets it!! That would be so great for you guys, I wouldn't want to lose you to a full time job, I bet it would be hard to adjust to, I know that school is taking it's toll on me already and this isn't even going to be my hardest term! I just hate being away from my home and not getting to do what I need to do. You know? I hope you are getting some cleaning done!

Nice to hear from you Mel. Is it okay for Bugga to have Mylanta EVERY night? I was just wondering, I always feel that after a while of taking something your body can actually become immuned to it. My belly is growing alittle. Seems like I was much bigger by this time with my others. It does tend to move and kick alot, especially at night when I sit down to relax. Ally has felt it kick. She was too little when I had Andrew to know what was going on so she's excited this time plus she's my little mama anyways. I do get those braxton hicks contractions quite a bit, I always liked those, I think they feel so funny.

Jill, glad you got to the gym and feel good. The challenges were nice. I got things done that I otherwise wouldn't have done. My house stays "picked up" for the most part but getting down deep doesn't get done unless I'm challenged.

Chris, it's terrible knowing that our kids have those problems, especially breathing problems but I guess we do what we can. I just hope this next one doesn't and Andrew will be the only one I have to deal with it.

Okay, I got a short little nap in but after a full 8 hour nights sleep it wasn't needed to badly. I've got computer work to do and about 400 I'll get my butt in gear on laundry and picking up the kitchen from lunch and starting dinner. Hope all is going well.

Hey Crystal! The doctor said that it is ok for him for now. It's such a small dose that he shouldn't become immune to it. I do skip one day a week though. Usually, by accident or because he is in a mood and won't take it. Those nights are hit or miss. Sometimes, he wakes up 1 or 2 extra times and sometimes, it's the same as when he takes it. If he had a bigger problem with it, I think he'd be on a Rx version of the stuff. I hate taking meds too, but in this case I know that it's helping him to get some rest. He's been so much more focased too. I think he was just tired and couldn't concentrate as much. SO much is starting to come together for him. Words and shapes are so much better than 3 weeks ago. Partially, because he's getting older and bigger and because he rested I think. Anyway, I hope you are having a good one. ttyl

Good afternoon all.

I have had one of those days that I truly enjoy. I don't feel like I have done much but yet I have. I made some calls I needed to make, found a place to have scout meetings, went to Walmart for a new phone and electric pencil sharpener (that the kids are trying to wear out already :lol: ), synchronized with the Bear Cub leader on picking up kids tomorrow after school, typed out and delivered to school a letter and permission slip for my Wolf cubs, got things at Walmart I will need for scouts on Thursday, went and picked up some clothes a lady gave me left from her garage sale, put air in the tire, got dh to fix the door on my van, helped him clean his work area in the shop, went out a shot a pistol for a bit, etc., etc.

Supper tonight is going to be Casey's carryout pizza. I already ordered a large with everything for them and I am getting a small vegetarian (less calories but the guy doesn't have any low cal crust :( .....lol). Atleast I'm not eating all that high cal meat and grease :D . I'm gonna be good this week.

Water today 50 oz and working on more. Excercise so far, I parked as far away from the door at Walmart that I could and walked around in there for an hour (with 2 trip to the bathroom). The Bear leader works there, so I was able to coordinate with her there. I am getting ready to do my 2 mile WATP since the kids are preoccupied with the new pencil sharpener..... :dizzy: .

I will get back later and get personal. Going to excercise!!! :D

Hope everyone's evening is going well.Mine is doing pretty good.Me and the kids are going to decorate their bathroom in a fish theme and tonight I had them paint any kind of fish theme they wanted onto a piece of 12 by 12 construction paper and tomorrow i'm going to get frames for them so I can hang them in their bathroom.I think it will be something they can say they helped with, which they did.

Penny_ Sorry about the confusion about homeschooling.I thought It was you that decorated a classroom for the kids.Maybe it was for sunday school.Oh well sorry about that.

Jill-I didn't forget ya about the challenge.I'm still up for it.Congrads on the 2 pound lose while I was MIA.Guess that means your ahead of me.

Kristen-Thanks for the welcome back.As far as the kids helping with the kittens.They will have to start or they won't have any kittens.I just can't keep the litter box cleaned out by myself.I don't think it would kill them to do it some.They are pretty good at feeding them though.I guess that's something.

QOTD:My best habit is making sure I tell everyone in the family that I love them on a daily basis and give out hugs.My worst habit is eating when I'm not hungry.I still just can't get it under control sometimes.Not sure what I can do about it.It makes me want to start back smoking.At least I wouldn't be fat.Either way you die of suffication.Smoking gives you lung cancer and being fat gives you everything else.Sorry if I sound negative.I just get disappointed with myself sometimes.But a brighter note.I did get 20 minutes of exercise in and had 64 ounces of water today.I'm going to keep tring this healthy living,It feels better it's just hard at times.I guess that's true for everyone.

I got up and did too much this evening and then Hope and I collided in the kitchen, so I am hurting quite a bit now. She just happens to be belly button level on me, dang it! Got dinner from church friends, so I can't complain that it wasn't low fat! But it was pretty good! A cassserole with ground beef, pasta, corn, onions and cream of mushroom soup, I think. Spaghetti, too, but I didn't want that, had lasagna last night! Oh, and a salad and home made cookies was with it too!

I am resting for the rest of the evening, just thought I'd pop in to see how life is going.

Good evening ladies.

Supper was wonderful. I ordered a small, 10" garden pizza cut in 4 slices, and ate 2 for 500 calories. I still have 200 cals left for later. Water is at 60 oz and the excercise is still not done. I WILL do my 2 mile after I post this. I don't care how late it is. Dh is home tonight so I don't have to put kids to bed and I'm taking a long soak afterwhile. Not something I get to do very often, it's usually a quick in and out shower.

Crystal: WTG on the sleep. It must feel great. Hopefully Andrew is growing out of a phase. Good luck with the bank closing. Glad to see things are moving along with getting Alisa in girl scouts. She will have sooooo much fun.

Penny: YES, YES, YES I feel skinnier. Those sweat pants I wore yesterday and the pants I wore today are soooo loose now, I love it. I went to pick up clothes from a lady that had given me some int he past but I haven't gone through them yet. They are hopefully all too big and I can donate them to the thrift shop :D . I'll check them tomorrow. Thank you for the wtg. I know it's a loss anyway you look at it, but I'm worried at this rate I won't make my mini goal. PUSH ME, PLEASE!!!!!!

Mel: Yes, one chick didn't make it the other day. It died while trying to hatch. That's normal though, usually atleast one maybe more, depends on the # of eggs and how many were fertile to begin with. I put 40 more in last night but I usually only count on about half being fertile. I will be able to candle them (hold them up to a light) and tell after 10 days. :balloons: wtg on the trainer.....too bad it isn't a HE....LOL. It would be much mor efun to bust your booty with a hot male to look at.....I know, you're a married woman...so am I....but I'm not dead yet :hyper: !!! Thanks for the kudos on my loss, little as it may be.

QOTD: My worst habit is procrastination as well, Crystal. I tend to wait until the last minute to get it done then wonder why I waited. But alot of times it's a matter of something more urgent coming up. But I always get to whatever it is I was supposed to do. My best habit would have to be my cooking and baking if that's considered habit. My kids tell me all the time that I'm the best cook and around the holidays I bake up a storm because on my mom's side we all bake and contribute to baskets so that everyone gets to sample everyone else's baking. This year dh and the kids will get it all. I will not eat that fattening stuff. Besides my sil makes some and she's not a very good cook.....True but I still LOL about it.

Ok, I'm going to do my 2 mile WATP now. Water is at 80 oz down.

Evening gals,
I managed to down my 64 oz. of water and I got in some exercise. At least its exercise if you count raking leaves for an hour.

I got to see my little munchkin nephew today. He's 9 weeks old now. I'll have to post a pic of him. I'll have to be biased and say he is the best looking little nephew a gal can have. Of course while I was at my sisters, I got tricked into helping her work on her quilt for the baby. I did the sewing. She ironed the seams. I think I got the bigger workload on that one.

I feel good today though. I totaled all my points for WW, and I actually have points left over without even touching my flexpoints. Same thing yesterday too. I don't feel as out of control as what I did last week. It is a great feeling. Maybe something is finally clicking.

No time to get too personal here. I have to help Tiana read her book for her book report or she'll never finish it. She is the biggest procrastinator I have ever seen. She's had over a month to work on it and its due Friday. Of course I didn't find out about it til last week.

Crystal...starting this week I'll be working a regular schedule of Wed-Thurs-Friday. It hasn't been the same days every week since I started. It depended on my schedule so no wonder you couldn't remember ;) .

Hi Chris, Mel, Michelle and all that I have missed! I'm tired again today...must be getting old. Got in my 3 mi WATP this morning and am working on my last 20 oz of water to hit 100 oz for the day. Then I'm going to bed. Got everything ready for tomorrow including my lunch made so I won't be tempted by going out to eat....I'll do that Thurs or Fri with one of my gf.

Deana...your day made me tired :lol: . I was thrilled to clean all the clothes out of the boys room that don't fit and get all the shorts and stuff boxed up and everything hauled down to the basement. I think I had about 5 boxes of stuff! Some was piled up in the spare room. Still need to get the 14 pints of carrots down here and off my kitchen counter.

Have a great day every one. Hoping to get on here tomorrow night before bed to say hi. It's the boys 2nd day with the sitter so I hope all goes well.

Hey everyone just got done eating a late dinner since we had to run in and get our pictures taken during dinner time. I think they turned out ok but I was feeling better about myself until I saw the proofs! There was one of me that my face looked HUGE! I know that it was the angle making me look like that cuz the other ones were ok but I just have chubby cheeks to begin with and smiling makes them bigger so I was kind of down after I saw them. Anyway I know that I just need to keep trying and keep doing what I am doing and it will go away eventually but it's just depressing sometimes, know what I mean? Anyway I also am feeling like a bad girl cuz my dh brought home 3 big bags of candy yesterday and I've been eating a few here and there all day!! He needs to just take them to work or hide them cuz they are 2 of my favorites and it's just too hard to stay out of them!! However I as far as meals go I have been doing good. Except for the 2 bites of Bayleys toast I had this morning it's been totally core, it's just my choice of snacks that haven't been good ie the candy!! But I did get in my exercise today and my water is almost done so I will count that as an accomplishment and move on with life, right? So I hope all of you are doing well, I need to get some homework done so I can go to bed at a decent hour and get to the gym in the morning.

Deana you got so much done today! Good for you! You are also doing so good on your diet and I am so excited for you! I know how hard you are trying and that is just awesome!! YAY!! As far as the coffee goes we have a big chain that started here and is moving into other areas but nothing outside of Oregon yet. It's called Dutch Brothers, mmmmmm good. I'm sure you could find a variation of it somewhere else, just ask them to make you a skinny sf drink with sf Kahlua flavoring, that should do it.

Angel cute idea about the fish bathroom, I bet the kids will love it! I'm glad we are still on for the challenge!

well shiznit!!! I didn't make either goal!!! I was busy running all over town!!

I met with the social workers at the hospital and cancer center today and they said that this is the first time that anyone has just walked in off the street and wanted to help and they said they thought it was great!! So my sister and I are going to do a Lasagna bake once a month to feed the people who receive cancer treatment, also I will be contacting united way to get on one of their care teams, and also I'm now a volunteer for "road to recovery" program which helps people who have no transportation get to their radiation sessions. I'm also putting a call in to hospice they need "sitters" (someone who sits with a person who is dying when their family can't be with them) I just feel so good about myself to be helping a good cause, I mean I'm practically glowing and I even cried happy tears today!! ;) Yeah yeah I'm a baby!

Anyway sounds like you are all doing wonderfully!! I got the kids bathed and read a bedtime story and now they are asleep!

So now I'm going to try to go to sleep myself.
