Hi all,

I have a question about activity points. I am not so sure how to figgure out what my tally would be. So I'm going to tell you what you did and then you can help me figgure out what I'm supposed to count them as.

10 min / 2 miles on the eliptical crosstrainer (broke a sweat in the first 5 min)
bench press 25lbs 10X3
curls 20lbs each arm 10X2
overhead press 7lbs 6 times (my shoulder is bothering me)
then did some military arm training (hard to explain) untill muscle failure

My arms hurt like H#*l. So how many activity points do you think I should calculate them as?

Thanks for the help

Activity points are based on time done*current weight*intensity. Sweat is not a valid indicator of intensity. Heart rate is the best indicator but breathing is a good indicator.

Light Activity (you can talk and sing):
Weight X Minutes X .000232 = Activity Points

Moderate Activity (you can talk but no sing):
Weight X Minutes X .000327 = Activity Points

High Activity (you need deep breaths to talk):
Weight X Minutes X .0008077 = Activity Points

Weight training is a low intensity work out unless you do it on a circuit trainer where you are running from station to station.
