:coffee: :coffee: :coffee:
Sorry I didn't get back around last night. We had some friends drop by and ate some dinner and then played some cards. My kids LOVE playing with their son. I think I really needed that, it was fun and refreshing.
Hope everyone had a good night. Andrew woke up 4 times again. Drives me crazy, I tell ya. Not alot of you around last night. I guess you had shows to watch. I caught the very end of the Apprentice.
Geri, are we happy for you to work more? I wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not. If so, I'm happy.
Penny, I was trying to seach ebay yesterday when our friends dropped by. Maybe I'll have more time today. My sister called and has some clothes for my girls. But our sons are wearing the same size now so she doesn't have any of those.
Jill, totally, totally, totally normal for Bayley. As grandma's our parents get to spoil our kids even if they don't give them whatever they want, it's different and even better to be with grandma so don't you dare worry about that. Last week with my mil took my kids for a while for pizza and they park and such, Andrew threw a big fit to go with her, first time ever. Because obviously he had alot of fun with her and wanted to stay with her. Take it from me, enjoy it. Alisa is almost 6 and doesn't want to leave my side. Of course, she's staying with my mom tonight. When it comes to her nanny and meme she'll stay anytime. Be glad that she has fun and loves your mom. Hope that makes you feel better.
Mel, where ya at girl?
Spryng, you must have been watching some tv shows last night. Anyone heard yet when Alias comes back? I'm dying to see it and haven't heard a word, surely they wouldn't cancel it, it was a big hit.
Michelle, hope you got some rest after work.
Hi Amy, Chris, Deana, Ricci, and everyone else out there.
I'm not cleaning my mom's until much later today, after school and nap, so I'll be around for a while. Dh is suppose to be job hunting today, we'll see.
09-24-2004, 09:26 AM
Hope you find some clothes for Andrew! Good luck to dh on the job hunting!
09-24-2004, 10:49 AM
Good morning all!
So sorry I left you all hanging yesterday. I tried to post at nap time and somehow or other the page refreshed itself and I lost my post! I was sooo mad! LOL. And I was extrememly tired then yesterday so I just laid down for a nap, then when we got up (which was late because Tanner took at 3 hr nap instead of 2) I had to rush around to go get dh... so we went up there to pick him up, ate some dinner, and back home late and then dh wanted some "alone" time, lol.
Oh before I forget, Leigh emailed me and her computer is still having problems so she said to let you all know about it and she will post as soon as she can!
Ok, my WI--- down 2#!!!!! I'm at 122 now!! So thrilled about that! Only 2 more lbs to go to hit goal!!!! Yipee!!! I feel like I am almost there finally.
Ok, dh thinks I am sleeping in right now, lol... so let me get personal real quick before he finds me on the computer, lol.
Crystal, hope you had a nice time with your friends last night! Dh and I played Scene It last night and games can be so much fun, and relaxing. And no, I didn't get to watch any of my shows last night, But I taped survivor and CSI and will watch them today!
Penny, I'm going to try really hard to be on here more often while dh is home. The thing is, we are usually not even home much when he's around, but expect a post from me at least every evening ok? and if I don't get one in harass me on yahoo messenger, lol.
Ok, I've got to pee so I guess dh will find out I'm awake, lol. I thought about lying in bed for awhile longer to just enjoy the quiet, lol. Is that bad?? TTYL!

Good Morning Girlfriends!!!
Michelle: I checked out the website. It looks GREAT and the girls are soooooooo cute in all the pics you have on there. Can't wait to see the renovations. Nice check, what are you buying me for my birthday... ;) ? When are you drawing names for the Friendship Swap? LMK.
Crystal: Are there any thrift shops around you? They are great bargains for clothes and as fast as kids outgrow them it's a good way to go. I don't understand how some people (my sil for example) go out and spend mucho bucks on name brands clothes just so the kids can wear them a couple times while they still fit. When they get older I can understand a little better because the don't grow as fast and get more use out of them. My sil went out and bought her oldest son $125 tennis shoes last year because he came home and said he didn't fit in at school because he wasn't wearing what was in style.....UGHHHH!!!! We have a thrift shop here that is run by the church women from several area churches. They sell everything really cheap, like shoes are 50 cents a pair, shirts for a quarter, and lots of times they are trying to clear things out and have anything you can stuff in a paper grocery bag for a dollar. I don't buy much there because my kids get so many hand-me-downs, I end up donating alot to them after the kids outgrow it. You might check around or ask at your church. Good luck. What size is he in now?
Penny: Glad Hunter had a great birthday. I'm with Michelle on the women's yeast infection ointment for the rash. I had to use that with one of mine too, just can't remember which one now. I didn't even remember it until I read Michelle's post from last night. With him on the antibiotic for a month you may have to use a little at each diaper change. Hope you get it cleared up okay.
Spryng: Glad dh got home safe. Hope you enjoy his vacation as much as he will. We may be in Olathe this weekend. They were showing on the news this morning about the Mcafee Stagecoach Stop and dh might be interested in going. Depends on what we're going to do about the leaking faucet in the tub. We need to rip out the entire wall over the pipes and replace all the plumbing. Not sure if I'm up for all that this weekend. I'll let you know if we're coming that way. Maybe we can meet up.
Ok I have 2 dilemnas this weekend. I need some input on what to do. #1: My sil in throwing a 6th birthday party for her dd tomorrow at 2. She has spent around $150 on this party and invited her entire Kindergarten class, yet didn't have any rsvp's as of yesterday afternoon. I don't want to go for several reasons. But can't come out and tell her that I don't want to. She is kinda shallow and it will cause big rifts in the family. One reason I don't want to go is that it is 45 miles from me. Another is that I don't want to be around her kids plus no telling how many others. Her kids get on my nerves, partly because they are soooooo spoiled and her middle son (9) and dd are hard to understand when they talk and my kids even have to run to me and ask me what they said. I don't want to sound like I don't like kids, it's just hers. I think alot of it stems from keeping them for a month the year before last, a week at a time, weekends off, cuz they didn't have a sitter. They were so destructive at my house and she acted like it was no big deal. Her ds even killed some baby birds on purpose. Dh won't go to their house, so that would leave me taking mine by myself. And I feel she spends so much to try to show me up because I can't afford to throw expensive parties for my kids. I invite family for cake and ice cream and I make the cake and punch myself. Not to mention she over does it. She bought a pinata and filled it with 15 pounds of candy bars and candy. She doesn't even know how many are showing up. Last count was about 6 kids plus her 3. I haven't told mine about it so they can't throw a fit about not going. And I haven't told her yes or no because I didn't know about dh maybe working OT this weekend.
Dilemna #2: I found last night that a friend, term used loosely, is coming to town tonight until Wednesday. I have tried to distance myself from this one because she is one of the worst about asking for advice and not taking it. Her ex boyfriend, also my bil, treated her like crap and even though he is my bil, I told her to leave it alone. Well she keeps going back to it and getting dogged on and treated bad. He is a 16 sober recovering alcoholic and she still is an alcoholic. It's just not a good realationship and she has even moved across state with another man whom she claims is just a friend. I have also caught her in lies or changing what she tells me about things and even though I haven't confronted her about it, I can't forget it. She wants to hang out with me some this weekend but I just don't feel comfortable around her most of the time. And if we get in deep conversation about her life, I can't not offer advice, she expects it, yet NEVER listens. She lost her license to a DUI, just got it back, told me she was working yet the guy she is living with told me she isn't. I don't know what to believe from her anymore. She just can't seem to stop drinking and get her life in order and I don't really want to be a part of it. Too much drama for this country girl.
Any advice will be considered completely. I don't want to hang out with her but I don't want to hurt her feelings either. That's just not my style.
Thank you all for being here. I don't usually ask things like this but I am so up in the air over both things.
Hope everyone has a great day. Mine will get better. WATER CHALLENGE!!!!!

:bravo: :cheer: WTG !!!!!! Spryng. I can't wait to join you at that point!
:hb: :gift: :balloons:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY.....you young chick you!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GERI.......ahhh the old one......LOL.
Love ya both......HAVE A GREAT DAY.....you deserve it. Today is YOUR day.
QOTD: Have you ever worked? And if you did, what kind of work did you do in the past....or now?
Answer: I have done alot of different things as far as work. My first job was at Sonic Drive-In. I have worked as a clerical temp, secretary, broker's assistant, waitress, grill cook, owned a bar and grill and even worked on a hog farm for a few months. There are probably other things I have done too just can't think of them all right now.
09-24-2004, 11:54 AM
Spryng - Way to go! It gives me new inspiration.
Happy Birthday, Geri and Amy!
Crystal - Good to put a picture with a face! I always pictured you with blonde hair. How is the pregnancy?
I have been out of the loop. I do not know where the time goes.
Well, I joined WW on Tues. They have a mommy and me class, so I can bring JW. I am going to try to Core plan for the first three weeks and see how it goes. My official weigh in will be on Tuesday, so I will post then.
We have agreed to hold off on the 2nd one until I lose some more of this weight. Dh cousin is getting married in June, so we want to be at the wedding. I so want to be pregnant again, but we are in agreement that it will be better for my health to lose the weight.
I am excited about the core plan. Spryng, you posted some really good recipes.
09-24-2004, 12:03 PM
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GERI AND AMY!!!
Deana, you know a thrift shop just opened a couple of weeks ago and I've never been. I will definitely give them a try. Andrew will be in 2T, Ally is in 2T and Alisa is in 7/8. My sister has 5 girls so I get lots of hand me downs from her, but her son and mine are in the same size so we can't really help each other out. I can't understand the people that spend lots of $ on kids clothes either. Andrew's new shoes I just got him at Payless were $15 bucks and I didn't even want to spend that. But that's all they had, I like the $7.99 and such, but oh well.
Melinda, how are you? Good to hear from you. Everyone pictured me as a blonde. How funny. The pregnancy is okay. Physically I'm feeling fine, emotionally has been another story. Dh is losing his job, our medical insurance, his work truck we're still stuck in a 2 bedroom house with all three kids in one room sooooooooooooooooo, as you can see, I've been stressed lately.
QOTD: yes, I worked since I was 16 years old and always in an office environment. As a junior in hs, I worked at the bank, my senior year I worked in the municipal court for the City, then went to nail school and only did that briefly then had misc. office jobs until I had Alisa and worked in the office for my dh's grandparents family and took the kids with me until I was half way through my pregnancy with Andrew, then started staying home full time.
I'm getting school prepared then gonna work on laundry until lunch. AFter lunch, Andrew will nap and I'll school. Alisa is staying the night with my mom and dh is going out camping with some buddies, so me and Ally and Andrew will rent some movies and eat some popcorn. Gotta go. Hope all is well for everyone.
09-24-2004, 12:24 PM
Hello ladies! I am so excited about today. I am going to go and try to find me an outfit at the mall and dh is taking me out for dinner tonight! I woke up this morning feeling much better than yesterday even though I am in a little pain. Oh well. I'm not even letting that .5 # gain get me down b/c I expected it and there's nothing I can do about it except try harder next week! I went to dottisweightlosszone and looked at the menu for Applebees so I will know ahead of time what to order.
Geri: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!! ( i was singing it :))
Deana: Those are some pretty tough calls, but I would say to heck with causing a rift, If you don't want to go to that party don't go! I always feel obligated to go to friends/families b-day parties if I invite them to my sons, but I just tell them that something came up at the last minute and send a card. It sounds mean, but it works! As far as the friend, I don't really know what to tell you except to go with your gut. I would just be honest and tell her how your feeling. She may get upset but atleast you won't have to pretend that everything is fine and dandy and it may give her a wake-up call. Alcoholics can be so difficult to talk with, my grandma has been one all her life and she still refuses to accept reality.
Penny: I hope you have fun today with the whole Johnny Appleseed B-day celebration at Hunter's school. I remember doing that when I was younger and we had a blast! I can't wait until next year when I can do fun things like that at little Chad's school.
Sprng: I'm glad you and dh are getting to spend some quality time together. My hubby was out of work for three months and as much as I love him, I was glad when he went back. i guess we had too much alone time... LOL! WTG on the weight loss you skinny thing you. :)
Crystal: Sorry Andrew woke up so many times last night. Hopefully he will sleep better tonight. I agree with you about the kids wanting to spend time with their grandparents. Mine rarely sleeps at home anymore b/c we live right next door to my in-laws. I love them dearly, but sometimes I do wish he'd stay home once in a while.
Melinda: Hello my fellow Carolinian! WTG on joining WW!! I swear if this TOPS thing doesn't work out I'm going to give WW one last chance. I should say, I'll let WW give me one more chance since it wasn't really the program that didn't work in the past but my refusal to stick to the plan. So many people have been successful at it, look at Sprng!!!!
QOTD: I have worked many jobs before. I use to work at a place called Party City (first job) with my best friend. We were only 16 and didn't really take it seriously, so we were fired. Then I worked as a cashier at K-Mart, but again hated it and was fired for not showing up. I've worked in music stores, waitressed, baby sit kids, worked in a day care, but my true calling is nursing. I started out as a CNA 7 years ago and have loved it ever since. Now that I am elgible to get my license I can really do more bedside care and also make great money! I will never, ever, ever, devalue the role of a CNA as an RN b/c I realize their importance even if they don't get the appreciation they deserve.
STG: 169 by Sept. 30th!!!!!!!!!!!!!
09-24-2004, 12:24 PM
oh my gosh, I just typed a "book" and it disappeared on me.
QOTD-I have worked in the family business (candy warehouse) since 1989. I worked full time with my first girl, and after Kayla was born, I only worked part-time. I only work 2 days a week, more as an escape from home for a bit and to help my dad out. I package candy and I also operate the printing press to make the labels for the candy bags.
Spryng-Way to go girly!!! I hope to be able to say "Hey, 50 lbs. gone" someday. That is so awesome!!!!!! :cheer:
I got the kids to school...almost late. I'm supposed to be cleaning my house but just haven't got the motivation yet. I read on here that someone calls there laundry "Mount Washmore" -I so agree. If you don't do at least 3 loads a day around here, you're drowning in it for the next week it seems.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GERI AND AMY!!!!
Michelle-still have to check out your website. Have a good day, hon!
Morning to the rest. I must check my emails and get my rear end in gear. TTFN.
09-24-2004, 01:17 PM
I feel bad I can't get personal this morning but we have a big day ahead. Bayley has her doc and I have to run to the University to get books and then get my hair done. I hope when I get back it won't be 4 pages!!! LOL Anyway I wanted to share that I am 2 pounds down!! YAY!!! So I have officially lost 11 pounds so far!! Congrats to the other losers and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOO!!!! I'll be back to wish you congrats officially later! HAve a great day girls!! TTYL
09-24-2004, 01:21 PM
HI girls just got back from the doctor and I was down 3.5 lbs for the month and lost 3 inches on my waist She says I'm doing well. So that was good
Qotd: Hmmmm jobs....My first job was at an orange Julius (YUM) and then I went to work for a hotel doing banquets serving and setting up, then I graduated highschool and worked at Denny's for a bit and then I moved to massachusetts to be a nanny which was great! Then I came back and went to work at a hotel again and did auditing, yield management, front desk work, and I headed up our employee relations program, as well as our guest perks program, and now I work at another hotel just doing auditing about 5 hours a night 6-7 days a week, its better than my last hotel job because I was putting in 18 hour days at my last job and I was a walking zombie and always had work on my mind, now I'm able to relax a bit without so much on my mind.
Spryng WAY TO GO!!!! :balloons: I'm so happy for you!!
Melinda its great to hear from you I was just thinking about you the other day!!
Penny How is the rash? Man you should see teagan girly she is just walking all over the place!! she even walked the whole way across the livingroom!!
Deana I think it was you who asked, I'm going to draw names for the friendship swap on the first of November so the deadline to let me know you'd like to participate is 10-31 :)
Geri and Amy!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! :hb: :balloons: :cheer:
Ok I gotta go the kids are fussy
09-24-2004, 01:26 PM
So far I have washed all the sheets and made the beds and the towels are in the dryer....cleaned up the coffee that Tony spilled...threw out the soaking wet books he hit (most of them he has destroyed already anyway :^: ) yelled at Tony about 100 times to stay away from the TV's...he can't keep his hands off of the power buttons...arrrgh! Dh is bringing Chinese home for dinner so I don't have to cook. I got an under cabinet radio/cd player for the kitchen for my bday. The TV is on way too much during the day and Will tends to just sit in front of it rather than play and watch it once in a while so I wanted something else. We do have a nice stereo, but to hear it in the family room I would have to blast it.
Mt Washmore...I'm not sure but I think Cindi was the first to use that one  . Stuck with me and still cracks me up.
Melinda...so glad you checked in. It has been a long time since we heard from you! The Core plan sounds really great and I hope it will work for you! Are you still working part time?
Crystal...more hours is fine with me but no more than 3 days a week. My neighbor knows someone who is looking for part time kids but her MIL just passed away so she can't call her for a few days.
QOTD: I worked as a waitress, in retail and then for 16 years at my last job. I supervised an accounts receivable dept at a company that did the processing for brokerage transactions. It just closed in December as our parent company bought a bigger firm and they swallowed us up. I was pretty happy because I got a nice severace package and I was getting really unhappy in my job. Now I'm working at an accounting firm in administration...basically a secretary I guess...but I will learn to use accouting software that will help me to find another job if this one doesn't turn into something permanent.
Deana...thanks babe...for calling me old  I'm used to it...Spryng does it all the time ;) :p
Michelle...love your web page...maybe someday I'll use my Paint Shop Pro and do something creative like that! I think you can use that for web page designs...
OK, nothing planned for the rest of the day. Think I'll trim some trees while Tony takes his nap. The branches are really starting to hang pretty low. Also have to start sanding the deck where the printing on the beams is beacause we need to stain it before the snow flies. Don't I have exciting plans for my birthday?
I'm so excited! My cousin and I are exactly a week apart...she's older  ...anyway she got married when we were in our early 20's and moved south so I hardly ever saw her. She lived in Louisiana and Arizona and I visited her once in AZ. She and her dh moved about 45 minutes away from me! Unfortunately her dh has had problems with his legs and back and has to use braces/crutches and may someday need to use a wheelchair. That is why they decided to move back to WI so that they could be closer to family if it should come to that so that my cousin would have some help. Anyway...that's pretty sad 'cause her dh was a very active guy before. I just got a letter from her with my bd card and I want to call her so bad but she has out of town guests so I'll have to wait until next week. Can't wait to see her.
OK, hi to everyone I missed. I need to check my email then get off of here!
TTYL...have a great day.
09-24-2004, 01:27 PM
Congrats Jill & Michelle!!!
09-24-2004, 02:47 PM
Hey there to all you losers and birthday girls!
Spryng - you are awesome, almost at 120 lbs? I can't believe it, you give me hope, I never knew anyone that a weight lose program worked for, I guess that is why I needed you all so much! :cheer: Big hugs to you! :) Hope you have a nice week with DH, mine comes home tionight, I can't wait!
Geri - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! :balloons: I hope you get to do what you want.....and if that includes trimming trees and sanding the deck then so be it! I got one of those under the cupboard cd/radios too, and I absolutely love it! :) It has become fun for sydney and I to sing while she helps me cook, a nice memory that I will cherish forever! :) P.S. - you are not old! age is a number, its realy how you feel! :)
Amy - Happy Birthday, happy birthday! :balloons: Hope you have a great b-day! :) Have fun shopping and on your night out on the town! I didn't know you were a nurse! How often do you work?
Jill - Have fun getting your books and new hair cut....I always feel so "new" when I get my hair done! I hope Bayleys appt. goes well! Shots stink, i hope she doesn't have any! :)
Michelle - your site is incredible! I wish that I had that kind of talent! I have a question for you...my little techie! hehe  ....when I size the pic down to 25% of its size, its still too big it says to use for my avatar! ggrrr....I am not so computer savvy as you can tell....is there something that I need to do to it first, before I add it to photobucket? Thanks darlin! BTW - WWHHHOOO-HHOOOO! on the lbs and inches! :cheer: You are doing so wonderful especially since how busy you are! :)
Melinda - so nice to hear from you !! :) Glad that you have a plan to lose weight and that you and JW are well!
Deana - I have had both of those situations and I will just tell you what I did in each. #1 - I weighed whether or not that they had showed up at any of our stuff...the answer was no....I decided that I wouldn't go, because it just left me feeling bad and frusterated and why put yourself through somethign like that? NOt to mention its really far away! I wouldn't go! #2 - I would tell her that your lives are taking different paths and that you are choosing not to put yourself amidst her destructive behavior....it doesn't matter if that is how she seeing it or not, but you do and its your choice to make. THose are both hard situations, but there are so many things in life that pass you by...why would you want to waste a moment of it doing something with you family that you don't want to do, or that makes you feel bad? Go with your gut! hope that helped! :)
okay - all the kids are bugging me for lunch so I guess I should go ! :) Love to you al! :) TTYL !
09-24-2004, 02:48 PM
I'm back for a minute.
Michelle-checked out your website. I think its great. I'd love to do something like that but I'm not educated enough on these machines to do anything like that yet. We finally joined the millenium this year and bought a digital camera and just got a new printer. I have yet to try and scan a pic on it. Maybe that will be my afternoon project- that and some more laundry.
My "loving" sister (bless her to bits) wants to put highlights in my daughters hair again...She wanted red or blue. This mom said NOT! So we settled on copper. My sister is the "HIP" one whom my daughter idolizes, right down to the clothes and choice of music.
I guess I'll get back to my laundry now. TTFN.

I am still working on M and W. We are doing a PACT program with JW on Tuesday morning and now WW. They have parenting classes while the children play with developmental toys, etc. I am doing an ALPHA program on Wednesday evenings and I am hooked back on the Apprentice. And my MOMS club meets a couple of times a week. I don't know where the time goes by.
Any workout challenges? I am reading a new book Escape Your Shape. It says that I have been working out wrong for my body type all of these years, so that is why I have not seen results. It says I am hourglass shape. Hard to believe, but I guess I have larger curves. ANyway, I should not do step aerobics the ellipic. etc. It says I need to focus on lower impact workouts and weights. I have been doing it for two weeks so we will see how it goes.

OKay - so you all are MIA today, its not me for once! LOL!
Melinda - Sounds like you have a great schedule figured out for yourself! :) That is really interesting about the shape of your body helping you figure out which works the best! I never thought of that!
Crystal - we do ebay and thrift stores too, and we only have one child so far! I get lots of things that are new for her, like shoes, but other than that, I get stuff on sale, clearance, hand-me down from cousins, or thrift! I also did a clothes swap when Sydney was 3 months old, and that was fun, we had 3 of us with all girls that were the same age/size adn just traded clothes for some variety and if I needed something for a spcial party, we just called each other to see if someone had something!
Chris - Hoe funny about your sister! Ho old is she...and your daughter? I can't remember (mom brain kicking in now! )..I think I would have said no to the blue.red too! Hope you are getting your laundry done! :)
well I should get a snooze while all the girls are nappign and the older boys are watching a movie! :) Have a great afternoon all...not sure when I will get back!

I forgot the QOTD again! sheeesh! I have worked many jobs too! I started out when I was 14 in a grocery store, my mom was the accounting director there...it was the funnest job, I was just put where ever they needed me, floral, cust, service, camera/video...it was great! The second job was at jcpenney...I worked in accessories and guess where my paycheck went? the 3rd was at TTS a marketing company....I installed cox cable, phone and internet over the phone or computer and/or set them up for a tech to come out to the house to do thigns. It was a cool job...and then I worked at Hallmark...there was a mistake, guess where my paycheck went this time? and then I worked at Memberworks, which is a company who helps customers to use their discount programs that they sign up for or stuff like that...I worked in the compliance dept auditing calls and having callibrations with company execs to give feedback about their programs. All fun jobs, the last one, was the only full time I had and it only lasted like 6 months, so I started staying at home! :) my first job at Hy-Vee grocery store is where I met dh...he worked in produce...I always took my break when he was stocking bananas, because he could talk then ;)haha! okay now I'm going to ebay for alittle while, then maybe lay down! :)

Kristin go to the microsoft.com page and search for "powertoys" and it will list a few tweaks to xp features and one that they added was an image resizer that is really easy to use. Your image (to use as an avatar) will have to be 200 x 200 pixels or 500 kb (I think) or less to post so just size it to 200 x 200 and you should be abel to upload it directly to 3fc without having to use photobucket.
Geri man you are cleaning up a storm, wanna come do my house next? jk lol I have my hubby to do it for me! ;) You sure can use psp to design websites but the only thing is that you can't publish them through psp (that I know of) I use psp and adobe photoshop for my graphics, along with supplementary programs such as background magic and xara 3d and I can get pretty good turnouts.
Chris Thanks for the compliments on my site it really isn't that hard to do. Our internet company gives us 60 mb of ftp webspace so I use a ftp site builder called cuteSite Builder its easy to use and I just love it.
Mel way to go on the workout keep it up!!!!
Okay I need a nap before work so I'm gonna be missing the rest of the afternoon.
Love to you all

1 1/2 more hours and I'm free...free...well, almost. My sister will be back to pick up her son so I'll only have my 2 year old to handle. Having 2 of them at the same time is hectic.
Kristin-My sister is 24, and my daughter Tiana, is 11 years old. Makes me feel old. My sister is the second youngest and I am the second oldest. At my age, I guess I'm just not cool enough, or maybe parents aren't cool (period).
Hi everybody. I tried to scan some pictures but once again we are having problems with the hunk of new junk. Installation wasn't a breeze. It's a multifunction unit. I can print and copy but when I try to scan it says that the computer cannot detect the scanner. How is that when its one unit...????

I'm back for a bit before I have to start supper.
Thank you Amy and Kristin on the advice. I am goin to call my sil and tell her that we can't be there tomorrow. It's just too far, my van takes too much gas, money is tight til payday and we really need to tear out the shower wall and replace plumbing this weekend since dh is home. It's been leaking for a while and the thought of the water bill this month scares me. And our local hardware store just closed recently so if we need supplies we may have to go to the city to get them. Ok that problem solved.
As far as the other problem.....she called me a little while ago from my bil's house. She told me that she gave my number to the people she borrowed the van from to get here and asked me to tell them I would get ahold of her and she would call them back, if they call. When I got off the phone with her I told dh what was up and he said if he were his brother he would step out with a gun and tell her to never come back. The problem there is he has been chasing her, but yet she hates being treated like crap and still won't leave him alone. Grrrrr!!! He also said he never cared for her much. I came to the realization that I didn't either, she just latched on to me and it was just my nature that I saw someone in need and I helped.....God, I'm such a sucker. Now she wants me to lie for her if anyone asks me where she is because she doesn't want anyone to know she is at his house. Trust me, I have told her to leave him alone and get on with her life but she keeps calling him and giving in to his request to see her. Stupid. There's alot more to the situation but I could go on and on forever. Then I would be in a bad mood and I don't want to do that with dh home all weekend. I still don't know what to do. I'm not one to hurt anyone's feelings and I know it would tear her up to lose me as a friend because she really doesn't have anyone else except the guy she is living with in St. Louis. That's another story, she says it's platonic but I don't believe her....So I keep chuggin along, biting my tongue. Maybe I'll get lucky and she'll be busy with her kids and such and not want to hang out this weekend. I can only hope. Then maybe she will go back to St. Louis and not call for a really loooooong time.
I'm so sorry to be a stick in the mud today. I don't usually ask for advice, I'm always the one asked for it, but these things have been bugging me. It actually helps to put it in print and get my feelings out instead of sitting on them and letting the fire build.
Thank you all sooooooooo much for putting up with me today.
80 oz down, going for more.
Supper tonight is chicken tacos, spanish rice and refried beans.
Hope everyone has a great evening. I'll probably be tearing up my bathroom.

I am almost done, too! What a job!! Funny how you all mentioned that today!
I have been eating very well and I am drinking as much as I can, but I am behind where I'd like to be for the day!
Congrats to the losers this week, I didn't lose any, but I didn't gain any either! So I can't complain at all! I really just started back on plan 2 days ago, so I guess I should change my weigh in day...but I like Fridays! Still no word on my biopsy results! I wish they'd call me or something.
I started this post hours ago. So I will post another soon, LOL!

100 oz down. I've made to 100 oz 5 of the last 6 days so I made me a glass of tea with Splenda to have with supper tonight. YEAH ME!!! My sil called and I told her I can't make it tomorrow. She didn't seem upset. I told her we HAVE to tear apart that bathroom. She started getting rsvp's and there is going to be atleast 21 kids and 8 adults there. She won't miss us at all. Glad I'm not going with that many Kindergartners that, without parents none the less. Phewwww!!!
Cindi: WTG on the maintain and eating really well. Did they tell you how long it would take for results? Waiting is the worst part. Let us know, please.

Good evening everyone. I've been mia since early today. After school we left to go clean mom's house and do some laundry. When mom got home I left Alisa with her to stay the night and me, Ally and Andrew went to Walmart, blockbuster and sonic. We're home with two loads of laundry washed, dried, and put away. These two kids bathed and now they're enjoying popcorn and watching Cat in the Hat. When that's over it's bed time, YEAH!!! Then my time. Got two movies and I don't know if dh will be home or not.
Got a handful of natural newborn things washed and set aside. Blankets, onsies, one pieces and gowns. They're so cute and little.
Kristin, that swap idea sounds like fun. I always take they're clothes and drop them off and the benevolent center in town. Even after one has worn them, I don't save them for my next ones, I have no wear to keep them.
Sounds like everyone is having a good day and hope that carries over to the weekend. Sunday we get to go to dh's grandparents for lunch to celebrate two family member's b-days. I always love doing that because I don't have to cook. I think I won something on ebay for Andrew, I've got to check my other email to find out. I'll try to be around later, otherwise, good night.

Geez thanks for not giving me much to read!! You guys have only posted about 3/4 of a page since I left this morning. I don't think I'll go in detail about my day till tomorrow since it is so late and I know none of you will read it anyway!! I have quite a bit to get personal on too so I would rather wait till tomorrow when I have time!! Hope you all have a great weekend if you don't check in here!!
