:coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Morning ladies. Sorry I didn't get back around last night, watched some tv and had to deal with the kids in bed. I'm sick and tired of them all being in one room. I don't mind the girls sharing and I don't mind them getting chatty at night if it wer only them in there but it bothers Andrew and he won't go to sleep until they are. Otherwise, he slept okay only woke up about 3 times or so.
I read through all the posts from the other thread, but can't remember much for the life of me. I'll start a new today. I'm staying home and getting some things done. My BIG CHALLENGE for today is cleaning and organizing my desk area. I've got personal finances, business info, watkins and avon stuff, cooking stuff which includes books and printed off recipes, school stuff, bible stuff, you name it, it's a mess. On top of my other duties that's the big one.
So I'm gonna get off for a bit and enjoy my coffee before preparing school.

Morning Ladies...

Fixing to do the Firm Video.... Wish me

I have looked at your wedding pic in the hen's roost. It is sooooo beautiful! I absoutely love it!!!!!!

We don't have any real photos from our wedding..... but I will see what I have.

I just loveeeeeee Bayley's HEHE You did a great job on her little bangs.. She is tooo cute :)

Michelle, I know I am addressing you I am so glad Taylor liked her bag...... I have gotten obessed with them! I made Mel's kids each one as a Thank You gift for sending me a whole bunch of clothes and shoes for Andrew... :) But I love doing them..

I have made all kinds of different designs for each child's personality... Ps.... Teagan's is already done.... You are gonnna LOVEEEEEE it! HEHE

Have fun cleaning today :( Was dh disappointed you didn't find out the sex?

What type of food is in your house? Ex..

Low Carb
Low sugar... etc..
Healthy fruits and veggies.....

Just curious

We have almost everything from mayo, cheese, milk, crackers... all that stuff Lowfat/FF
Like my jelly and condiments are all sugar free
Breads and pasta's are brown or wheat :)

09-22-2004, 09:08 AM
QOTD: regular foods in my house, possibly low fat but that's it. Sorry to disappoint.

09-22-2004, 09:26 AM
Okay, you all are getting me addicted to this photobucket thing. I have never shared a picture of myself simply because I hate my picture to be taken and I honestly don't have many of myself. One is our most recent family photo which was last Christmas, but I think I still look the same mostly and the other is when I was in High School so you all know I was thin once upon a time.

Okay there you have it.

I have GOT to figure out why they are so big. Any ideas?

09-22-2004, 09:43 AM
see I told you I was addicted. But please tell me how to make them smaller. Anyways, I lied, I forgot I never put on pictures from our trip to Arkansas this past summer.
I think this is Ally and Andrew sitting in the suitcase as I was trying to pack it.
This is a close up of me.
This is me and dh. I don't like this one, because you can see how fat I am and short, I hate that. But hay, only a little while longer, huh?

09-22-2004, 09:56 AM
Good Morning Ladies.

Crystal: Those are nice pics. How tall is your dh? Mine is 6'2", I'm 5'5". Being short sux sometimes. My kids like to climb in suitcases too....must be a kid

Penny: Hope you're having a good morning.

To everyone else: HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Not alot planned here except for cleaning and dd has preschool this afternoon. Then dh has to go to work tonight.

Who's in?

09-22-2004, 10:03 AM
Oooops almost forgot.....

QOTD: Well since I'm such a demanding, selfish person....LOL...There is my food and their food. There are certain things I buy that I can have that they are told to stay out of. I almost went ballistic yesterday when I caught one of the boys sneaking some of my purified water from the fridge. They are learning how serious I am about losing all this fat.

09-22-2004, 10:08 AM
Deana, I'm 5'3 1/2" and dh is 6'1". I hate hate hate being short. My kids are always saying they want to be as tall as me and I tell them NO YOU DON'T. Luckily, Alisa is already tall so she'll be taller than me which is good because she's built just like me and I know will have to watch her weight, but at least she'll have height. Ally is going to be thin and petite just like dh and his family. My son is going to be one stocky boy.

Alisa's birthday is in a few weeks and I'll get some updated pictures of all the kids and maybe me.

09-22-2004, 10:49 AM
I am sooooo excited to see pics of YOU!!!!!! I have always wondered what you look like! You are sooo beautiful and your dh is nice looking also... He is thin :(

As far as the pics.. When you save them... there should be a place to do size where you can do a different percentage..... but this is a question for Michelle...

She is our computer mom :)

Hope you are having a great day!! I used to separate our foods but I started sneaking in more and more of the healthy foods and less of theirs and now we all eat the same :)

Ok I got to drive to the capitol today.. about an hour away... I am buying the boys their lifetime hunting and fishing licenses and I have to get Hunters before tomorrow (his bday) or the price goes up much more....

Then Andrew has a dr. appt. His is running fever w/ no other problems.... I am worried he has a kidney infection.... my mom thinks it is a sinus infection b/c his eyes are so puffy... But anyhow..... His primary dr. will be in at 1:30 so I am seeing him b/c he knows andrew's condition..

So busy today! I will be back later.... Don't post too much without me :)

09-22-2004, 10:59 AM
Thank you Penny for the compliments. Dh is thin, his whole family is. In fact we weighed the same when we got married, 145. Now he weighs around 165 or so, kind of fluctuates. Of course, he hasn't had almost 4 kids either, huh?
Okay, maybe Michelle will be around later. I think I know how to make them small, but all I did was scan and save them as is and didn't realized they were gonna be so big. I guess I need to know a percentage that fits these screens well. I think these were only like 50%.
Anyways, thanks.
Okay, breakfast is done, kitchen is cleaned, kids are dressed and ready with beds made. I'm dressed and ready with my bed stripped and Andrew's too. Our sheets are currently being washed. Livingroom is picked up. I'm gonna prepare school now and we'll start around 10. Dinner is going to be a new recipe...Slow cooked Steak and Gravy. My first real crockpot meal. I'm also gonna make a pot of beans. I'm gonna try to be around after lunch to do some cleaning challenges and get my big challenge of the day done.

09-22-2004, 11:13 AM
Hey girls!!

Great pictures crystal its so great to finally put a face to the name :D Ok now to make your images smaller you will need either an image editing program or if you have xp as your operating system you can go to and type in powertoys and it will bring up a list of a few "tweaked" features for xp that you can download these downloads are 100% safe as they are made by Microsoft. Anyway one of the power toys is an image resizer and it works great!

QOTD: We have (like deana) my food and their food but they don't have any junk food so it's not hard for me to be in the same house, they just don't have to eat whole grain or meatless "meat" LOL

Penny You are going to have to teach me how to be so crafty ;) I'm working on sewing a shirt if my mom will ever get over here to help me lol.

Okay I'm off to start drinking my water and get this house clean. Oh Just wanted to mention that i'm updating our website hehe I'll have it up in a few days!!
Love to all!!

09-22-2004, 11:16 AM
No Problem! It is so nice to put a pic with a face :) The kids are soo cute also :) Hope you get to flylady later! We also have a good time :)

I won't be around for it but I hope you all have a great day :)

09-22-2004, 11:20 AM
Good morning! Liam and I MUST go to the gorcery store today. There is very little left to eat in the house LOL. I don't really like going to the grocery store, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm waiting until after Liam's first nap, of course :D

Deana- thank you for the compliments :o I did get to see your picture now and I love it! Ya'll look in love :; and I like the cowboy wedding idea.

Chris- that's horrible about the puppy almost dying :( Sorry you had to go through that on your wedding night.

Cindi- how was Christian last night?

Julie- thanks for the kind words :D I'm not doing well with the diet, but think maybe I can use my thin wedding pic as motivation LOL.

Jill- I love those party pictures! What a cutie- does she have your eyes? You're doing so well with the water and work outs. I need you as my personal trainer!

Geri- you're glowing in your wedding pic :D How beautiful! My mother also walked me down the asile - my father passed away in 2000. That part-time job sounds like a good opportunity. Hmm . . . decisions, decisions!

Amy- sorry you had a bad experience at TOPS :(

Cheri- I love your wedding pic! What a beautiful couple. And I love your proposal story too. Looks like it was zoo day all around! Glad you had a good time.

Penny- Ohhhhh . . . that's so sweet about the ring! My wedding rings no longer fit - not because of weight gain, but my hands and feet got permanently bigger with pregnancy. Apparently this happens only to a very small percentage of women, which of course means me LOL. :o thanks for the compliments on my wedding pics:o Hope Andrew is okay!

Michelle- Oh, what an adorable wedding pic! You and DH look so sweet and happy!! And beautiful :) And I love that picture of Taylor. Thanks for the compliment on my pic :D

Crystal- I absolutely LOVE all your photos. You're beautiful! It's funny, though, you don't look like how I pictured you. I pictured you with lighter hair. Alisa looks just like you. As for the size- if you look at the pictures on photobucket- there is an "edit" button. If you click on that, you have the option of resizing the picture. I usually begin with 75% and then go down again if they're still too big. Hope that helps!

QOTD: We have whole grain pastas and rice. Frozen veggies. Usually just bananas for fruit (I don't really like fruit).
Now, during Liam's nap (right now) I should be doing a bunch of chores from my list, but does it look like I'm cleaning? TTYL.

09-22-2004, 11:20 AM
Good Morning everybody! I am not believing how beautiful the weather is today! I hope it continues throughout the weekend, I have a wedding to attend. WHich brings me to a delimna, I have nothing to wear! All my dresses are church type dressed and I want to find something cute, but dread shopping for clothes! :( I told myself I wasn't buying anything until I had lost atleast 15 lbs, but oh well. My birthday is Friday and my mom is trying to figure out what to get me. I told her I didn't care to surprise me. She says she's worried that if she gives me money I won't spend it on myself, and she's probably right... LOL

Penny: Sorry about Andrew, I hope the docs can tell you what's wrong so that they can start treating him. I thought my son had a bladder/kidney infection a couple weeks ago b/c he was going to the bathroon every five minutes, but our doctor checked him out and said he didn't find any indication that it would be an infection, that was good news.

Crystal: I love your pics, and you have such a beautiful family!

Deana: My hubby is 6'1 and I'm only 5'1! Sometimes I hate being so short, especially since my hubby's ex before we got together was so tall and thin, but he says he doesn't really like tall girls... LOL

Well ladies, I'm off here for now, I hope everyone has a wonderful Hump Day!!! I've got laundry to tackle! Talk to you guys later! :)

Amy :)

STG: 169 by Sept. 30th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

09-22-2004, 11:22 AM
Ok Here is Me and Hubby's engagement pic

I am trying to get in the attic to get the wedding pics :)

09-22-2004, 11:33 AM
Ok, let me try this again.. ugh... I lost my last post because our electric company decided to work on our lines outside. A little warning would be nice huh? lol.

ok, first let's see. Last night, last night was great! After dinner I got ALOT accomplished around here. I attacked my bathroom, living, kitchen, and laundry!! All I have left to do is the kids rooms. I folded laundry like crazy last night, from 6:30 pm to after Amazing race started. So I feel like I got alot accomplished and I'm so happy with that.
Speaking of Amazing Race... did anyone watch those finales last night? (I know Jill did) Big brother was predictable, but I think Drew deserved to win. So that show was ok. Amazing Race was nothing short of AMAZING!! It had my heart pumping the whole time. I was getting a little after the first hour because I just knew Chip and Kim wouldn't win, they got so far behind, how could they right? The BAM! One little thing happens and they get an 18 min lead!! Mt heart was aching for them! Christie and Collin had a driver who didn't mind breaking the law (where are police officers in Dallas Tx when you need one? huh?) I was so mad at them! But it didn't matter... once I saw Chip and Kim cross that finish line in first place I just started crying tears of joy!! They truly deserved that million dollars!! They are a couple I really admired. When all the other teams were yelling at each other and putting each other down chip and kim always remained united and never said anything negative to one another... they just kept going at it and look where it got them! If Collin and Christie would have won I would be very busy writing my hate mail this morning, lol... they were a competitive team and strong but they didn't work together well. They screamed and demeaned each other constantly. So much fighting. I hope they break up. They sucked as people that is for sure. But really, the best team won so I'm so happy!!
OK, today I don't plan on doing much, shower... then I have to go pay a bill and drop off those movies (btw my kids loved scooby doo 2) then back home to clean the kids rooms. Dinner tonight will be Moms Macaroni Casserole, I've never had it so I'll let you know how it comes out.

QOTD-- my house is pretty much filled with OP foods. Pantry is stocked with lots of br. rice, ww pastas, tuna, canned vegetables, canned crab meat, sauces, soups, etc. Freezer is full of skinless boneless chicken breasts and thighs, fish, extra lean gr. beef, vegetables, sir fry bags, meats, etc. Fridge is stocked with leftovers, ff cottage cheese, ff cour cream, milk (both 2% for the kids and ff for me) lean ham, etc and my other cabinet is filled to the brim with spices and herbs. I love to cook so I have just about every spice you can buy out there. I even paid over 20 dollars once for a bottle of spanish saffron... yum! But I love my spices. I guess that is about it, snacks I have 94% ff popcorn, sf/ff puddings... cereal for the kids and a few snacks for the kids (like marshmallows and chips and crackers and bread) so I guess that is about it. I have a little of everything but for the most part it's all OP stuff for me.

Since I've had to write this post twice now I'm running out of time so I just wanted to tell Crystal... I love all those pics!!!! You have the prettiest shaped mouth!! You are very pretty. I don't know why I had you as a blonde in my head, lol. Beautiful family and now that you know how to scan pics and upload them I can't wait to see more pics and especially lots of them when the new little bundle of joy arrives! oh and I loved your high school pic!! How old were you in that one! You still look the same, so pretty. I wish I had a scanner to show you some of my old pics. O-well, someday I'll buy one I suppose.

Ok, Penny, how did your Firm workout go?? Which one did you do?

Ok I'm so sorry, I know I have so many other people to address but I'm just plain running late and I still need a shower so I'll be back later ok? Sorry to post and run! TTYL!

09-22-2004, 11:38 AM
Spryng, thank you so much. Never thought about my mouth as nice shaped, but it's a great compliment. The highschool pic I was 14 or 15. I only know that because the necklace I'm wearing was my long term boyfriend, my first TRUE love, Wade, and I dated him my freshman year so I had to be 14. Thanks for the compliments. I'll get addicted to showing you all pics, but I'll try to keep it under control, lol.
Sounds like you got alot done yesterday, you probably don't have anything left for a challenge today, huh? I won't be cleaning until after lunch. We're gonna school and then do lunch. So I'll check in after that to see whose around.

09-22-2004, 12:04 PM
hey ladies! You are all so beautiful inyour wedding pictures, that was a great idea. I don't have a scanner either so if you wanted to see mine, you would have to go to that photographers website that I gave yesterday ! I wish I had a scanner too! :)

Crystal - it is very nice to see a pic of you and your family! :) I had you pinned as blonde too, how funny......its funny because I imagined you to look so tired since ds doesn't let you sleep! LOL! but you look great, thanks for sharing! :) dh is skinny......I hate that, mine is about 15 lbs skinnier than me too! ;)

Spryng - I'm with ya on the scanner and I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to be able to do a voice chat! So I need to get my christmas list made out huh?

Jill - Bayley is such a doll! I got some new pics of sydney back so I will post those on the MSN site. I am making hubby take some pics of me this weekend, so I can give you all a good ides of my before shots, and then I am going to put those "fat" pics of me everyehere!!! THat should make me not want to eat so much!

Michelle - that pic of Tay is too cute! :) adn you are beautiful as well ma'am !!!

Penny - I love the engagement pic! So when did you have your first, compared to when you got married...I love September, because we got married and the day after our honeymoon was over, it was sydneys b-day! 2 of the most important days of my life in one month!!! :)

Geri - Thanks, I know I need some can't come soon enough! :)

Leigh - you are a knock what a babe! LOL! Hope you get some good deals at the grocery store today! :)

Deana - I love that wedding theme, that is really cool and you are a hot mama too! :) Hope you have a great day!

Amy - you are right, I never spend the money on myself either! Hope you do though to find something that you like...I know once I lose my weight, it will be alot easier to find and shop for clothes that I problem now is that I am afraid to buy too much, since I want to lose weight, I don't want to get comfortable! ya know?

okay well the first QOTD: I have a mixture of stuff...starting to weed out all the suger and fat i still have like chips and cookies, and such, but am getting rid of that stuff quick, letting dd eat it only. and I am sticking ot WW meals mostly lately, since we are constantly on the run, and salads! SPeaking of that....I need a WI, DUH! I haven't in like 3 weeks! I think I will start again next week when I am back on track and at home! :) I am on for the water challenge today! :) okay - I really need to get a few things done, then I might be back around !!!
SPryng - ever get anything in the mail??? and JIll - you should be getting a little note too :)
okay -see you all in a bit! Anyone up for a flylady challenge or 2, or 3 or 4....haha, you get the picture, my house is horrible! LOL! TTYL !!

09-22-2004, 12:12 PM
Crystal: I get soooo much trouble from my oldest son, he is 6'1" and still growing. But he got hit with height from all sides. His dad was 6'3", his grandpa on that side 6'4" and my dad was 6'2". He doesn't stand a chance at anything but tall. He constantly gives me a hard time about being short because I'm always asking him to get things up high for me. Oh well, won't hurt him to help I guess it's your doll in your siggie, made me think you would be blonde too.

Penny: How was the workout? Hope your drive today is a nice one and hope there isn't anything wrong with Andrew and he gets to feeling better soon. What a nice engagement picture. You still look so much the same....does dh?

Cindi: How is Christian feeling today? Better I hope.

Michelle: Thanks for the powertoys tip. I'm gonna check it out today.

Leigh: Thank you, we are very in love. Our 6th anniversary is coming up soon and we both agree that it doesn't seem like that long. Time flies when you're having fun.... ;) . I need to scan and post a pic of me from my first one would believe it is me. I was 135 and blonde....I mean really blonde, thanks to my mom the I'll try to get that done in a minute.

Amy: Why not have mom take you shopping for a dress for the wedding? That way she knows you got something you need and like. We are having wonderful weather here too. Supposed to rain tomorrow but I can handle one day of it. Nothing else planned. That's so funny you said that about dh not liking tall girls. The first time I took Scott to meet my mom, she didn't even say hi first. She looked at me and asked "What is it with you and tall men?" (First dh 6'3", live-in and middle 2's dad, 6' and Scott 6'2") I answered " I guess I just find all the ones that like short, dumpy women." She almost slapped me because we are built almost exactly the same..... :o

Spryng: Instead of a scanner you could try to take pictures of the pictures with your digital camera. I have a close-up setting on mine. Don't know how well it will work but it might be worth a shot. Glad you got so much done last night. Wish I had. But that's what today is for. Dd has school and wants daddy to take her today and then he will have to go to bed so he can work tonight, so pretty peaceful afternoon here.

Jill: Are you awake yet? It's 8 a.m. there.... :D

Geri: Hope you're having a great day.

Chris: How's your day going?

Hi to anyone I missed.

20 oz down, 80 to go.

09-22-2004, 12:31 PM
OK here's a picture of my first wedding in 1987 next to a pic from the second in 1998.

09-22-2004, 12:34 PM
Morning...You guys all make me look like a late riser but really...I'm not. Anyhow, Nicole is better today, but she is still a bear. I'm tired and can't seem to get past the drained feeling. Hope I'm not getting sick.

Michelle-Taylor is adorable. My Kayla is alot like her- wild hair and a is a free spirit.

Jill-Bayley is a sweetheart. I'm jealous! My kids were all baldies. I swear they didn't have much hair until they were almost 2. Nicole has the best. She has a head full of curls right now and a pretty little blonde. I'm not sure if she'll keep the curls or not but Kayla has alot of wave to her hair and if I cut it, she'd have more. I can't touch it though, she did one of those wonderful "haircuts" on herself 2 days before school started this year. Right down to the scalp in one spot. She wanted to be pretty... :D

You are all talking about heighth issues with the DH...Mine's not too bad. I'm 5'8 and he is 6'1. Not to far off.

QOTD-a mix of stuff. I have to keep some snackies around for the kiddies. Except I've switched them to fat-free pudding ands such. Not much in the line of breads-because of my allergies. I try to keep everyone happy. The cupboards will be doing some more changes though. DH got his blood work back from the doc and his tricyclerides are 1368 and they're supposed to be below 150. Doc says he'll be dead in 10 years or less if he doesn't start changing his habits. The keep the pop out of the house and we have to be lower fat. I do have to have my stuff for making an occasional mochacchino.

BTW-I have downed 24 oz of water so far. Doing good...

09-22-2004, 01:03 PM
Okay, I forgot the QOTD in my last post: my house is also filled w/ a mixture of different kinds of foods. I have MY foods which are off limits like my yogurt, ww bagels, lean cuisines, pineapple cups. I also keep alot of lean meats in my freezer. I try to buy hubby some snacks that I don't like such as Little Debbie oatmeal pies. My son has his fruit snacks/fruit cups and cereals but I don't mess with them. If you would have asked me two months ago what was in my fridge/cabinets I would have been embarrassed to tell you b/c it would have been all junk food! Glad I went healthier! For my sake and my families.

09-22-2004, 01:06 PM
Ok ladies too many posts already!! Anyway I need to get to the gym so wanted to just say a quick hello and I will catch up later!

Deana your pics are aweseom too! Thanks!

Ok I am going to post one of my wedding pics. So here goes! LOL

09-22-2004, 01:08 PM
BTW my aunt is a makeup artist and she did my makeup and I have wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more on than I usually wear but she thought it would be better for pictures but I say It doesn't look like me! LOL

09-22-2004, 01:36 PM
Deana, beautiful gown and wedding.
Jill, you are beautiful.

Okay, school didn't go as planned. Andrew didn't nap which wasn't too bad, I stuck in Scooby Doo 2 and that kept him occupied. But after lunch he napped, and I'm taking the opportunity to do it too. Which means, I don't know if I'll get alot of cleaning done. Laundry I will and vaccuming and such.
Okay gotta grade a paper.

09-22-2004, 02:02 PM
Hey Ladies! I am soo busy still preparing for Patricks bday party on Sunday. I am trying to reorganize and finish up some projects. I did take time out though to go to the gym with a friend. Guess what?>?????? I joined! Please keep encouraging me to go. I don't want to waste the money!

Everyones pics look great! I don't have my scanner hooked up, so I can't scan mine to show you. I'll see what I can do later. bfn

09-22-2004, 02:23 PM
So don't think I'm psycho or anything but just now when I was getting ready to go to the gym I grabbed my tank top and pants and headed into the bathroom (that is 3 steps away from my bedroom) and went to put on my top and it was gone. I thought it was weird since I had JUST grabbed it and went back into the bedroom to see if I had dropped it. I couldn't find it anywhere!! I looked in the drawer that I had gotten it out of and retraced my steps and I don't know how I could have misplaced it in that short little distance. Anyway after about 15 minutes of looking for it I thought I would just get another shirt and get going. Then I got this really weird feeling like I shouldn't go and there was a reason my shirt was missing. Then I got to thinking about car accidents or something and said well this is too weird I think someone is telling me to stay home! So I am going to stay home and I will just do some free weights here and take a walk later. Not worth risking my life!! Anyway I'll let you know if I find my shirt later and where it was, too weird. Has anyone had anything like this happen to them?

Ok so I watched Big Brother and Amazing Race and it was too cool. I was right there with ya Spryng on the edge of my seat with Chip and Kim! I def. didn't think they would win so I had to go to the internet and peek because I couldn't stand the suspence anymore! LOL It still had me on the edge of my seat though! Kind of funny since I already knew they had won. I def. think they deserved it. They have a family and the other 2 couple didn't yet. Anyway that was my night! LOL

Today I need to clean again. Amazing how messy a house can get with a toddler and a dh who doesn't pick up after himself! So anyone that is up for flylady just give me a hollar!! Oh I am also up for the water challenge today, I think between staying OP and all the water I lost some weight. I'll keep you in suspense and see if I can add to it by Friday. I also forgot to tell you guys that this is my last free week till school starts :( I'm sad but I will still be with you guys just not as much. I don't have school on Tuesdays or Fridays but Wednesdays and Thursdays are night class so no chatting on those nights darn it! I also get to go on a mini shopping spree on Friday and am getting my hair cut and weaved since my loan money is coming in. I am pretty excited about that! Ok I need to get personal now!

But first QOTD: Besides your kids and family what is your biggest accomplishment that you are most proud of? I'm going to think about this one for awhile and answer it later.

QOTD #1: we have mostly "light" and ff foods. I still buy some junk for dh's lunches but I have been slowly weaning him off of them. I have him totally on WW bread now where he used to have to have the Williams bleach white bread LOL. His junk isn't too bad though and I don't even like it so I totally stay out of it. Now if he was more of a chocolate eater there would be a problem! LOL

Michelle I didn't see that you had posted after me last night so I didn't comment on Tay's picture earlier sorry! She is just a doll! She looks so cute with her little bag and her cute outfit!! What a sweetie! Are you working today? I miss seeing half a dozen posts from you during the day! LOL We need to chat soon!

Penny thanks for the compliment on Bayleys bangs! We had to save the little pieces to put in her baby book, so cute. How did the firm video go? Way cute engagement pic!! You guys make a cute couple. Have fun driving to the capital, hope to chat with ya later!

Deana I'm up for a water challenge today!! Let's do it!! And no I wasn't awake at 8! I never am! LOL It's usually 8:30 for me!!

Leigh I'll come kick your butt in gear for ya! I am really motivated lately I just hope it keeps up after I start school again! Bayley doesn't have either of our eyes or hair color for that matter. My eyes are hazel and her dad's are dark brown and hers are bright blue and obvioulsy our hair is brown and hers is blond to who knows! I though for sure she would come out with dark hair and dark eyes but what do I know! I also though she would be 8 pounds or more and she was 6 13! LOL I hope you get your shopping done. I don't like to shop with Bayley anymore since she is getting bigger and won't nap in the store anymore so I leave her with my mom and usually get a lot more done in a shorter amount of time. Hope you are having a good day!

Amy I'm with whoever said to have your mom take you shopping for a dress for your birthday! Good idea. I think that you need to have a couple new things every once in awhile to make yourself feel good. At least that's my theory! LOL

Spryng is that macaroni casserole CORE? If it is and it turns out good let me know! Ya the shows were pretty good last night. I was so anxious about amazing race though!! LOL

Kristin my daughters b-day and my anniversary are in the same month too! Plus my sisters anniversary so it's a busy month here! I checked that website last night and you are so beautiful in your pics!! What a pretty wedding! Can't wait to see some new pics of syd and you! I had to show that one pic of syd on the toilet with her guitar to my sis the other day cuz I knew she would get a kick out of it. I laugh every time I see it! LOL

Chris glad your daughter is feeling better today! I was ROFL when I read about your daughters "hair cut"! I'm sure that will happen here someday! I was glad Bayley had a little hair just so I can do something with it. For awhile it just stuck up everywhere and I couldn't do a darn thing to it so it's nice to be able to put it up and get out of her face. If you are jelous of her you should see her cousin that is 2.5 months younger. He was born with a head full of curly dark brown hair, he looks like a puppy! It's so cute. Good job on the water, I'm right there with you!

Mel YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY you are going to the gym too! Now I have a virtual buddy to go with! I am so excited!! I will keep you in gear as long as you do the same to me too OK? Congrats on joining and take lots of pics of the birthday and share please! Hope you have a great day!

Ok guys I have been on here forever and need to get my workout in and get some things picked up around here. MY dd is licking my foot as we speak and laughing about it so I guess i should go find something for her to do! LOL TTYL

09-22-2004, 02:38 PM
Okay my name has changed but otherwise I'm the same. I changed my name and such because I realized that I didn't have the right email address registered with 3FC and wanted to subscribe to the threads and didn't know my password so I just change some things. So I went around the long and hard way, but it's still me.

Jill, I do the same thing sometimes. I always blame Casper. I mean there's no one else to blame and you have to blame someone right, it's not like you're losing your mind.

Okay we had lunch and Andrew is laying down. Me and Ally are going to lay down and when we get up I'll start a pot of beans and wash some dishes and get another load of laundry going and vaccum and if I have time, I'll tackle my big challenge today of which is cleaning and organizing my computer area. But that will take all day I think. I think Smallville starts up tonight and we're gonna catch that.

Next QOTD: I think it's homeschooling. It's the hardest thing to do EVER and after you see the things they learn from you teaching them the hard times are all worth while. Of course I'm only on my 3rd year of homeschooling and one child so far. But she is a doozy of a child to teach. But it's a GREAT accomplishment.

Okay gonna go nap. TTYL

09-22-2004, 02:52 PM
In answer to the next QOTD, my best accomplishment, besides my kids, would probably be changing my life after my divorce. I worked full time, and went to school at night. One difficult thing for me was learning that I didn't need someone to depend on. I was so used to having a mate, that I forgot how much I could really do on my own. I was only 2 credits away from graduating with a business degree when I found out I was pregnant. I took some time off and the school closed in the meantime. Then I got remarried and life is good.

I'm up to 36 oz. of water, and ready to float away.

09-22-2004, 03:34 PM
Hello again!

Errands are all done and I'm home again. Well I've been home for awhile. I was starving!! lol.. I skipped breakfast since I was on the computer forever and then lost electricity and then back on the computer to re-post, shower etc... went and paid that bill, dropped off those movies and came home, so I was shaking I was so hungry when I got home. So the kids had ramen noodles and I had leftovers from last night, it filled me up and now I just feel tired, so maybe I'll catch a nap after posting.

Crystal, I can only imagine how hard it would be to homeschool. We had thought about it right after Ava was born but now I know I want them in public school, at least through out elementary anyway.

Jill, that happened to me one time!!! I lose my bra! I was looking all over for it and I knew I put it on my bed next to my outfit and it dissapeared!! Then 1/2 hr later as I was getting really frustrated dh starts chuckling and pulls it out from somewhere, he had hid it, lol. He liked to see me losing my mind! LOL... But yes I misplace things all the time too. Will you be wacthing LOST tonight?? I can't wait to see that show! It has great reviews so far. And what do you mean you'll have your hair weaved?? Do you mean extensions added or something?? And of course that macaroni casserole is core, lol... do I make anything else? lol. It's not a cheesy one... more like a gr. beef and tomatoe one. But I'll let you know how it comes out.

Mel, congrats on joining the gym! How often do you plan on going? and I can't wait to see some pics of you!

Deana, you were definitely blonde! LOL... I was very blonde for my bf's wedding a couple years ago. You look very 80's in that pic! How old were you? I was only 7 when you got married then! ;) and I may try to take a pic of my other pictures with my digital camera, I just have to figure out how to turn the flash off because it makes a glare on the photo I'm taking the picture of.

ok, 2nd QOTD--- I would have to say I'm very proud of myself for many things other than my kids and family. I am a survivor of child abuse. I also am a survivor of my family, lol... I stand up for what I believe in and I'm pretty proud of that. I'm sure there are other accomplishments to be mentioned but those are the two that came to mind when I saw the question.

Well, I think I will take a nap now. TTYL!

09-22-2004, 03:41 PM
Spryng although a weave does mean hair extensions too it also means that I will be getting 2 colors in my hair, it's not all hightlights or dye so they call it a weave cuz they weave the color throughout your natural color! LOL I had to laugh when you said that cuz I knew someone would! I've been waiting to get it done all summer so I am pretty excited. I used to get it done often when I was working but don't really have the money now, so with the school loan money coming in I always do a few things for myself and the rest goes to savings. Anyway glad you got some food and got some things done. I wish I could blame this shirt thing on my dh but he's not home! I'm still losing my mind over it! So annoying! I'll look for it later.

Hope everyone else is having a good day! TTYL

09-22-2004, 03:49 PM
Everyone was posting their wedding pics, so i put mine over on the msn site. Can't upload here for some reason.

09-22-2004, 04:35 PM
Hi all. I'm awake from over an hour nap. My contacts are still trying to straighten up. Got the pot of beans going and when Andrew wakes up I'll vaccum and get the other load of laundry started.
Sounds like everyone is having a good day and if I don't get much done today, that's okay. I'm going to have a big, big dinner and I'm thinking about making some brownies and I've got to brew tea. I just found out dh is on his way home and that always screws up my regular routine.
I'll be around later.

09-22-2004, 05:21 PM
OKay ladies, I am just finishing a flylady challenge, and unfortunatley, I have to get going to the girls house! THis is the last night and there are some things that I need to get them all straight on, as well as get dinner going, etc. ;) I probably won't post tonight again, however, I hope you all have a great evening and I will see you all in the moring and then I will be around more, but not on the weekends, lol! whe dh is home we have tons to do, especially since sydneys party is the 3rd, we have to get stuff done this weekend for it! :) Love to you all! All of your wedding pics are beautiful !!! Have a good night! TTYL !!

09-22-2004, 05:51 PM
Good afternoon ladies...

My, you're all chatty this afternoon!

To everyone that posted're ALL gorgeous :D . In my opinion, every bride glows!

Crystal, nice to see a picture of you too :) .

Tackled Mt Washmore today. I swear it multiplied overnight. There wasn't that much yesterday.

I think Cindi suggested drinking water from the water bottles. Great idea. I just keep refilling my bottle from my Britta pitcher and I have downed 4 of them already today and haven't had supper yet... so that's about 64 oz already. For some reason I drink it faster than if it's in my mug.

I'm 99% sure that I'll take that job. I'll be a ton busier but Dh will have some pressure off of him to make all the money  . Just need to find someone for daycare. I think I remember my neighbor talking about someone she knows...I'll have to ask her.

OK, need to get the boys outside since it's another gorgeous 80 degree plus day here. We have had better weather in September than any other month this summer! Sad, but I'll take it.

I'll be back later ladies!!

QOTD...I always forget! Mix of healthy and not so healthy. I'm leaning towards the healthy though. ;)

09-22-2004, 06:22 PM
Grrrrr! Something's wrong with my computer :( I'm using DH's now to log on. Actually, it's only my internet browser that is not working. But that's really weird. I tried everything . . . first aid, rebooting, etc. And I purposely got a mac to have fewer problems.
I'll come back soon- want to see what DH is doing to my computer :)

09-22-2004, 06:42 PM
SPRYNG: Thanks for making me feel sooooooooo OLD!!! I had just turned 20 in that picture. And I only weighed 135....ahh pregnancy and the things it will do to a body... .

Thank you all for the compliments about my wedding pics. Oh how I wish I still looked like I did in 1987. But then again I wouldn't be here and have made so many friends. Nor would I have my children.

Everyone's pictures are just too cool. I even saved them so I can see what you all look like without having to find the posts.

I want to get personal but can barely remember anything today. I need to get supper started. Always earlier on days dh has to work. I've been working on laundry all day, I think I see a dent in it.... :dizzy: . I promise I will get more personal later but I couldn't let Spryng get away with making me feel OLD!!! ;)
I suppose most of you were teenagers or younger??? I'll just keep thinking that it means I am more experienced at some things and will also die sooner than the rest of you..... . Oh how I love you gals.

Well supper isn't cooking itself today, no crockpot today, so I better get with it or dh may have to

I'll be back later.

QOTD #2: I'll have to think on it for a while. Hopefully I'll have an answer when I get back.

09-22-2004, 06:42 PM
BTW: 120 oz down and contemplating more.

09-22-2004, 06:54 PM
Now I have to figure out how to do one!

09-22-2004, 06:57 PM
Good Evening Ladies! I just got finished with dinner and have about thirty minutes before I have to get ready. They started a new meeting for 4 and 5 year olds at the church called Mission Kids and my son really enjoys it. We have an amazing program for the kids at our church and after they built the new sanctuary they devoted the old sanctuary to the kids, its so funny b/c they named it KFC.. I started giggling b/c I was thinking about fried chicken, but it actually stands for Kids For Christ. I thought that was such a neat idea!

Jill: I am so glad you made that comment about not having a good feeling about going to the gym. I've had bad feelings about things too. I'll be driving along and for some unknown reason I'll take a way I don't usually go and I feel had I taken the route I usually go that something bad would happen! I use to get those feelings alot as a teenager when some friends would want to go places that I didn't feel good about going. I would make up a lame excuse and stay home, most of the time nothing happened but there were times when I got on my knees and thanked God that I stayed home!

Penny: Hey girl, sorry I didnt' get a chance to get up with you today. I just mostly piddled around the house and played with my son today. Did you do Flylady today? LOL

Crystal: I also thought one time about homeschooling my son, its so scary the things that goes on in not only public but private schools as well. I guess I'll just wait and see how next year goes and then make a decision. We do have some pretty good schools around us so hopefully it will work out.

Chris: That is a huge accomplishment, after seeing my mom go through a divorce from my dad I could never have imagined how hard it was for her. She worked so hard to do the best she could for me and my sister while my dad was living in a three story house with his "new" woman. My mom is my hero!!!

Mel: Way to go on the gym membership! I need to join one bad, but right now I am going to have to wait atleast until after January. Money is always tight this time of the year b/c of Christmas and our annual Florida trip in January. I'll probably start back work part time sometime in November. I told dh I'm only going to work 20 hrs a week max!

Sorry if I didn't get to everyone, but you are all in my thoughts! :) Only 2 more days till the weekend! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy :)
STG: 169 by Sept. 30th!!!!!!!!!!1

09-22-2004, 07:02 PM
QOTD #2: My biggest accomplishment besides my family would have to be graduating from nursing school this past July. That was the hardest thing I've ever done. It tested me as a wife, mother, and person in general. There were times when I was so overwhelmed I would just lock myself in the bathroom and cry for hours. But I always managed to build a bridge and get over it! On my graduation day I was shocked and moved to tears when they called my name as Valedictorian! I knew then that all my hard work had paid off, especially when I saw how proud my family was of me.

09-22-2004, 07:04 PM
Betcha can't guess who that is!! LOL!!! Now to find one of me I'd like to share! I don't do many now, but I have some skinnier ones to share with you I guess.

Christian's appt went well, got him some expensive custom made ear plugs for when he takes his baths. He doesn't get many alone, so I worry his mean sister might dunk him or something.

I have eaten much better today, but am playing catch up on the water.

All of you have such beautiful pics, I don't have wedding pics, we went to the JP to get hitched. We are both shy and hated the thought of a big crowd and all the hoopla.

Back soon!

09-22-2004, 07:24 PM
Two questions:

What is this flylady thing?
What MSN website?
I'm in the dark on all that, but I'm drinking water like crazy. Up to 66 oz. I need to get it all done before 8 or I'll be spending my whole night in the bathroom instead of sleeping.

09-22-2004, 07:40 PM Check it out. It's a system we all use(loosely, LOL) to get organized. We do 15 minute challenges on Yahoo IM to clean house etc. You should join us.

We also have a moms losing weight group on msn. Don't have the link handy, but someone will post it soon I am sure.

back later, fussing boy here

09-22-2004, 08:14 PM
Chris: Here's the link to the msn website. Just go there and click on Join Now. Then browse around the site. It's great.

09-22-2004, 08:48 PM
Okay, I'm back. Still using DH's computer :( We're going to have to bring my computer into the repair place tomorrow or Friday. I'm so frustrated. Well, except this way they can figure out what's wrong and then it will run like new (hopefully!)

Amy- maybe you can buy yourself just 2-4 basic mix and match things to get you through the weight transition. Also, that might keep you motivated to lose even more! LOL- KFC hee hee!

Penny- you and DH are just adorable!!!!

Spryng- I also thought Crystal had lighter hair. At first I thought she was blonde, but then one time she told me she wasn't, but I still pictured her hair lighter- like light brown or something :) But I totally cannot picture you a blonde either!

Crystal- I'm glad you shared the photos. I think this whole photo sharing thing has been so much fun. I love seeing everyone and their families.

Kristin- I can't wait to see the pics of you :D Thanks for the compliments on my wedding pics.

Deana- I love both your wedding pics! And I'm glad you and DH are so happily married- that's nice.

Chris- glad Nicole is better today.

Jill- ohhhhhh! What a georgeous wedding photo! You and DH make a great looking couple. I don't think the bad premonition thing is weird. I did that once when almost getting on a flight. I got a super bad feeling and couldn't go on. The flight was fine, but I'm still glad I listened to my gut LOL. Does Bayley look like any of your relatives? Liam doesn't look like anyone to us . . .

Melissa- does Patrick's party have a theme?

Ricci- I'll have to go look at your pics.

Geri- LOL - you just crack me up- that Mt. Washmore is still funny to me! Congrats on almost taking the job.

Cindi- love the picture :)

QOTD 2: Hmm. I also had to think hard about this one LOL. I would say getting my doctorate (PhD). That was extremely difficult and I did it in 3 years . . . THe day I defended my dissertation I felt like I was on top of the world and made everyone call me "doctor" for a few months LOL.

09-22-2004, 08:59 PM
Hey dinner in the oven and wanted to post while baby is napping, boy was she a bear just now!! She took a 2.5 hour nap earlier and then ran into town with me and mom and did nothing but sit in her seat but she is sure tired now! Anyway I've been wanting to share this story with you guys for a couple of days and have forgotten to. So here goes, anyway my mom shared this website with her sister a couple of days ago since she is on SBD and thought my aunt might benefit from it. So my mom told her what the website was and she wrote back and said "DONT GO TO IT IS THE MOST DISGUSTING PORN SITE EVER!! I was ROFLMAO!!!! She then says "I'll make sure and remember the 3 next time! So funny and I thought I would share with ya so don't forget to put the 3 in ok?!! So anyway my mom and I went to Albertsons and we got some sf ff jelly bellys and they were pretty good, really sweet though and they have a warning that if you eat too many you could have stomach cramps so I only ate like 12. I think I should be ok! LOL I found my tank top!!!! I was telling my mom exactley what I had done and then I remembered I had laid both items on my dryer before I put them on and it slipped between the washer and dryer! Thank goodness I was losing my mind!!! LOL So that's the end of that mystery!

Ricci beautiful wedding pics!! Hope you are doing well!

Crystal glad you got a nap in, I know that always felt so good when I was pregnant.

Kristin thank you so much for the note!! It really made my day! You are such a great friend!! Hope your night goes well.

Geri good for you for making a decision to take the job. I'm sure after the hard full time ends you will settle in and it will work great. How nice to have extra money for Christmas though! Think positive! I'm sure the boys might even enjoy day care. Bayley likes to go to the gym day care and doesn't even give me a second look when I leave her there! She is ready for some ME time! LOL Hope you had a good day!

Leigh sorry about your computer!! That really stinks! At least you have another one you can use. Gut feelings are so weird. Bayley has little traits that both dh and I have but I would have to say that her blond hair and blue eyes def. comes from my dh's side of the family. His mom has blue eyes and a couple of his sister have blond hair. My immediate family all have brown hair and brown eyes.

hmmmmm why don't I answer my own QOTD: I think what I am most proud of is pluggin along with school even though I have wanted to quit so many times. I have kept the big picture in focus and although I have a taken 1 term off here and there I have still been enrolled every year since I graduated. I will finally be done with my bachelors this year and I feel so motivated to get it done, I have never had that feeling before and I think I owe most of it to you all! You make me feel like I have it in me to continue. And I know you all will be here for me when I need you. Not that I don't get that from my family but it's different you know! Anyway that is mine!

Hope you all have a good night, did you know The Bachelor is on tonight?!!!!! I forgot and I wanted to watch the Dr. Phil special!! What's a girl to do!!! Let me know what you all are watching tonight so I can get a re-cap of one or the other! LOL TTYL

Deana your not old! We just think of you as our older wiser confidant!! You have experience to share and we appreciate it! I've only got 50 oz down but I will get more down soon!! Good job on the 120 oz!!

Cindi great pic of your daughter, still waiting for the one of you! :)

Amy I totally agree about those weird feelings you get! I've gotten them before too and sometimes I have glimpses of bad things that happen and then they do! It's creepy! I don't get them too often so I don't worry about it too much. That's great about completing nursing school and being valedvictorian! Good Job!!

09-22-2004, 09:00 PM
P.S. Leigh thank you for the compliment on my photo! I have to say yours is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful too! I love looking at all of them!!

09-22-2004, 09:48 PM
Hey girls this is short cuz I have to get ready for work Ughhhhh!! I won't have a day off now until next thursday/friday, If I even end up getting those days off, since they are going to fire one of the employees and she was the one that was covering my days off oh well, Its the holiday season it will be nice having a little extra cash in my pocket :)

Jill that was a beautiful picture!!!

Leigh so sorry you are having puter problems, I don't know much about macs otherwise perhaps I could help, I'm pc/windows proficient mostly.

Chris feel free to join up in our sahm's group on msn where we post recipes and other various things :D

Ok guys my website is almost done can't wait to hear what you think!

Geri are you excited to be going back to work? What will you be doing?

Ok time to shower!
Love to all!!

09-22-2004, 10:08 PM
Jill- LOL re: porn site  And I think we'll all have to celebrate when you get your degree :) I'm watching the Dr. Phil special right now. Some of it is scary.

Michelle- thanks for wanting to help :) It's okay. It's been sort of acting strange for a while so I think it's best to bring it in and hopefully nip it in the bud.

Okay- DH wants his computer, so see ya'll in the morning.

09-22-2004, 11:43 PM
Saw everyone's pics on the msn site. I have faces for the names. And talk about adorable children. I was going to put some pics on the 'puter but me being the airhead, I erased them. Not sure how, but I did. I also checked out the flylady web. I'm going to have to check that one out better. Its hard to read things with the normal bickering and stuff going on with the little ones.

Everyone will be happy to know that I did not have to watch the Barbie dvd today. My "loving" hubby bought the Lion King on Monday when he was home with the kids. Now you can all guess how many times I have to watch that a day.

:D chris

09-23-2004, 12:05 AM
I promised to come back and get here I am.

Penny: You and Brad make such a cute couple. Loved that engagement pic. How is Anderew feeling? Did you find out anything at the Doc?

Kristin: I went to the website and I absolutely love the pic of you and dad in the carriage. I wanted one for our wedding but couldn't find one locally. Thanks for the hot mama... ;) . Glad you will be back with us after tonight. We miss you.

Michelle: Taylor's pic is soooo cute. I downloaded the image resizer but haven't used it yet. We're really going to miss you this next week. Tell the boss you can work under one have to be able to talk to your online family anytime you're not busy... :D

Chris: Hope dh is serious about getting his health under control too. That is just too scary. About the haircuts, I think my oldest is the only one that never did that. My dd has twice. I'm with you on the trying to concentrate with all the bickering...grrrr.

Mel: WTG on the gym membership. I wish we had one here. The only thing we have is Curves for Women. I'm not sure how much it is but I told dh today that I wish I could afford to join. I know how he is, he will probably tell me to go check into it tomorrow. It's 3 days a week and if I can do it while dd is at school that would be perfect. It's only a 30 minute workout.

Jill: You're not losing your mind. It happens to the best of us. It's as Kristin puts it "mom brain" Very lovely pic and the makeup looks great. Glad you get to do something for you to make you happy. We need pics after you get "weaved", please?...Older, wiser confidant eh? Ok, if you say so..... :cloud9: love the fatchicks story...

Ricci: What a beautiful wedding pic. You don't look as I pictured you either. But you are beautiful.

Geri: Mt Washmore, I love it. And yes it does multiply at night, kinda like the mystery of how socks seem to disappear in the washer..... :?: WTG on the job. Time will all level out once you get going at it full time.

Cindi: What a big grin....sooo cute. Where are yours? We wanna see..... :D

Amy: it. Are you going to get a pt nursing job? Extra money is always nice. WTG Valedictorian!!!

Leigh: Sorry to hear you have puter problems....wouldn't be so much easier if they were cheap enough to go out and buy a new one if it gives you trouble? I only have til December on my warranty, so I'll be waiting for something to happen in probably January. Isn't that usually how it happens?

Ok I think I got most everyone. If I missed you I'm truly sorry.

Where's Spryng? Hope I didn't make her feel bad :( . Please come out and talk to us......

I'm heading to chat. If you're not there I will talk to you all in the morning. Have a great night.

QOTD #2: I think I would have to say that one thing I am proud of myself for is making the decision to get rid of my live-in in order to be with Scott. I was miserable working all the time to support him and 3 kids while he did nothing all day (he's disabled, but could still feed the kids, load the dishwasher, put laundry on). It was a very tough decision because I am a completely faithful person to the one I love. I guess I just didn't love him anymore. The one thing that helped me make up my mind was that I told myself it was time to do something to make me happy instead of always trying to satisfy everyone around me. Now I couldn't be happier. Scott and I are alot alike yet different and we both feel that we compliment each other well as far as personality. I love him because he is a good provider and loving husband, and he loves me because I allow him to be what and who he wants to be...something his ex never let him do. He couldn't even spend time with his family or she was right there. Didn't trust him at all. And he is the most faithful person I have ever known. Ok the book is over. Somebody kick me. I talk to much.

Hi Ladies....

I just got home a little while ago.... I am

I will check back in in the morning..

Just wanted to say HI! And Andrew doesn't have a kidney infection. I took him off his antibiotic for his sinuses for a couple days b/c of a bad diaper rash and guess what..... He has ANOTHER Severe Sinus Infection ALREADY!!!! GRRRRRrr.... Bad momma!

So it looks like we will end up with the surgery but we will see...

Andrew has a kidney disorder called Hydronephrosis. He gets frequent kidney infections and blockages to his kidney's. That is why I am so freaky about him running a fever... The more infections he has, the more damage is done to his kidney's. So far so good! He hasn't had any infections since January! He goes back to the pediatric urologist in November. I really can't wait... Not really sounding like I am excited but I can not wait to know what is going on. I have to wait months at a time to find out what is next :( His next appt will determine if we can hold off his surgery again or not...

Anyhow, Thanks for the support.... His dr. said today... If it's not one end of his piping it is Ain't that the

Have a wonderful night!

Well ladies, its almost midnight here, but I figured I'd get on one last time for the night. When I went to pick up my son tonight after church he greeted me with a pair of those plastic groucho marx glasses with the mustache attached! It was too cute. I made my mother-in-law snap a pic when we got home. I had to go to the store to pick up some milk and I was having a sweet tooth craving so bad!!! I stared at the candy, cakes, doughnuts and couldn't decide what I wanted. I finally looked up at the clerk and said "If I can't decide what I want, I guess I dont' need it". So I just left with the milk. I was curious also and went to the msn website to see all you guy's pics. I also like to have a face to go with a name but unfortunately I don't have any pics on here yet. I'm working on it though! :)

Penny: I'm sorry about your son's condition. I know it must be scary and I didn't mean to insinuate that you were paranoid, trust me. Having been through nursing school I know the scary realities there are and when my son get sick I make it a point to have the doctor rule out anything serious that fits the symptoms he's having. That's why I was so freaked when he was going to the bathroom so much b/c I know how fragile a child's kidneys are. I dont' think you can ever be paranoid when it comes to your child's health! I hope Andrew's rash clears up, antibiotics are the worst! It still takes three people to hold my son down so that he will take his when he is sick.

Deana: Kudos to you for being strong enough to think about your own happiness instead of living in misery. Life is too short! I'm glad you found a stand up guy who loves you and your kids and wants to be there for you all!

Chris: LOL about the hair cut. Why do kids feel the need to cut their own hair???? My son cut his hair last year with a pair of safety scissors. He cut it right up front all the way to the scalp! Then he had the nerve to ask if it looked good!

Jill: OMG... I did the same thing a few weeks ago. I guess I was typing too fast and forgot the 3! Not only did I get the porn site, but I also got bombarded with all these nasty pop-ups that wouldn't go away. I thought I had screwed my computer up and too embarrassed to ask someone to come fix it, I knew they would think I was some kind of perv. But I finally got everything worked out. Now I have this site as my home page so no more mistakes like that!

I guess I need to go to bed, ds will be up bright and early. I hope you all have a good night and I look forward to catching up with you ladies tomorrow!

Amy :)
