:coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Good morning ladies. Didn't get to go to bed until about 945 and then Andrew woke up pretty quick as I had just dozed off so I put him in the bed with me. We both fell asleep and around 1230 I put him in his bed. He woke up like 2 more times after that. All in all, not bad. Ally woke me up at 705 this morning, so not too shabby. Today is going to be a lazy day anyways, I think. I'm clipping coupons for my grocery shopping adventure hopefully tomorrow.

Michelle, glad to hear from you. Beginnig to wonder where you were.

Chrily, are you a morning person? Do you get up BEFORE your kids? My mother was a BIG morning person and as much as I hated it then, it wore off on me. I always get up about an hour before the other kids and before the morning has to really start. First of all, I tend to handle morning issues better and can handle a lazy kid better too. All I know is that my dh's brother HATES mornings and always has. My mil has ALWAYS a TERRIBLE time getting him up in the mornings becuase she never MADE him. She just let him be lazy. Your 5 yo should still be where you can train them to be better in the mornings, you'll have a harder time with the 11 yo. But you may already know all of this and do all of this, but that's my thoughts.

Ricci, I HATE sports and so does dh but I live in DFW area and know better that the Cowboys are not all that. Glad you support them, but WHY? They were good once upon a time. LOL!!!

Deana, glad to hear dh's job is safe for a while. That's a relief. My dh's family just told him to be there for a meeting Sunday and they have to go get a job like NOW. Dh has never had to do this and I think he's gonna sit on it just because he doesn't know how to go about it and if I interfere too much it'll make him mad. Anyways.

Okay, gotta go refill my coffee and clip more coupons, kids want cereal for breakfast this morning, won't complain about that one, lol.

Hope everyone had a good night and has a great Saturday. TTyL

Good morning all!!
Ahh! I can't believe the last thread got to 5 pages!!! I'm so behind, lol.
Jill and Penny, yes that game is worth buying! It's too cool. Your sim can get pregnant, morning sickness and all! And she's so cute in her last month too! Big belly and all wobbly when she walks. I was so suprised when mine had twins!! What a handful! But they start out as infants, grow into toddlers, you have to help them learn to talk, walk, potty train, it's so cute. Then they turn into kids (which mine are now) then teenagers and then adults. My male sim got fired yesterday, lol... he was so upset about it. But thankfully I found the cheats for money and such and now they have moved into a much larger house and he got a better job. Oh and there is a nanny!! So if you can't handle the kids on your own she is there to help out. which with twins I NEEDED her, lol. My game is running a little slow, dh says if we buy some more memory it should run normally. Michelle you experiance this? But anyway, I think it's a great game!

Nothing really planned for today. Just some housecleaning (yes I will clean, lol) and dinner will be rotisserie chicken in the crockpot. I was suppose to go see my bf today but she called and they all have colds right now, so I guess I'll wait until dh is home this week and go with him. He hasn't seen her baby yet.

Penny, the kids are not having to fight me for the game cube, lol.. sims is on my computer so they have the gamecube all to themselves right now. :) They love that. Bubba has been conquering Luigi's Mansion. I can't believe how well he does!

Crystal, where do you clip coupons from? We have no papers here that have coupons in them... I guess I could always get some off the net. I just never think about it. Hope today is great for you! Oh and do you feel the baby move all the time now?

Well, I guess I'll get off here. I'll be on and off here all day... TTYL!

Spryng, I still the coupons from my parents paper. I don't get the dallas paper but dad buys it every week and doesn't use coupons so I'm taking them. I've never tried the net, but guess I could.
I am feeling the baby move alot now, especially when I lay on my belly, it's like the baby saying, "TURN OVER", lol. It was moving the other night to where dh felt it kick on my tummy, that's always so neat until you get like 8 and 9 months and they won't STOP!!! lol.
Penny, I will nurse, I've always nursed somewhat and intend to do the same. And don't say that about not sleeping, lol, I'm hoping this one will be the best sleeper I've ever had.

OK OK OK, so PEnny doesn't have to worry. I've been lurking but haven't had time to post :( . This week has been NUTS! Abigail is in full swing at school and DH had some emergencies at work this week. BUgga, has been on my mind. Lab results showed a slightly elevated glucose, so now we have to see an endocrinologist and I have been working on trying to get an appointment with someone. Do you know that most are a 3 month wait!!! CRAZINESS! I'm not too worried, but am concerned and just want to get the rest of the testing over with.

Don't have time to post much. WElcome all you newbies...I think your names were Amy, cherli...auntiM.

Cindi, Glad all went well, I hope you feel better soon. So glad that christian is feeling better and eating some.

Penny, I'm alive,....thanks for asking. How's the dieting going? I feel overwhelmed with everything this week. With the start of school, dance and going back to help my grandmother once a week, is tough. I just have to get back in the groove. Thanks again for the kids bags. Bugga keeps saying...Tommy, Tomby...for toby. He LOVES IT> Abigail loves hers too. She wanted to lend it to me for my crochet class. It was cute of her.

Hey everyone else.

Crystal. I hope you get some sleep soon. Last night was a good one for me. But they are few and far between. You and I need to sleep at a hotel overnight to get some good sleep in...lol

Alright, whoever sent me this rain, TAKE IT BACK, PLEASE. It's not funny. I have a house full of kids that want to go play games at the fair and we can't.. :( . It doesn't look like it's going to let up very soon and the parade is at 2 today. My oldest is acting as Color Guard and the rest of the kids and I are just going to find a good spot to sit and gather candy that the floats throw. They each take their own little lunch sack with their name on it and whatever they get is theirs. If anyone gets cheated then each of the others contributes until it's more even. Works out great, everyone is happy which means mom is happy :) . I won't miss the parade because of rain. I may have to go buy some umbrellas, but won't miss it. There are going to be lots of Shriners with mini bikes, little cars, and the animal bus. The kids just love them. There are usually about a hundred of them in the parade and it usually lasts about an hour.

So if I'm not going anywhere for a while.....anyone up to water challenge today? I got in 120 ounces yesterday. I'm ready to do it again. I want a good WI on Tuesday morning.

Well, going to check the weather and then surf for a while and check emails. TTYL

Good Morning Ladies! Hope everyone is doing well. My son woke up this morning in a terrible mood! He's finally calmed down and is playing contently. I have to go to my mom's today and we've already planned some healthy meals to eat over there. My mom is so lucky!!!!! She's never had to worry about a weight problem. She just turned 48 and is still hovering around 115! Too bad I took after my dad's side! LOL. Well, after my horrible day yesterday I am back on track. I ate a healthy breakfast and have already gotten in some of my water. My mom has the 3 mile WATP tape at her house so that's probably going to be my exercise for the day. After last night's chocolate binge I don't even want to look at another piece... atleast for another month! Well, I'm off here! HOpe everyone has a wonderful Saturday!

Mel, glad to see you around and glad you got a good nights sleep. So what might be the problem?
Deana, sorry about the rain. I wish we could have it, we're staying in all day and it would be nice to nap to later. Maybe it will go away from you soon.

Okay, dh is starting his job hunt this week. He's never met my new doc so I'm trying to talk him into going with me for the sono and to meet the doc. We'll see.
Hope everyone is well.

I just have to say that I am the worst morning person so maybe my kids get it from me. I used to be able to handle 3 and 4 a.m. mornings then get up at 7 for work. Not anymore. I've been thinking if I do pull myself out of bed earlier, I could actually get some exercise in without taking up everyone's time.

For the question on football...I'm not a sports fanatic. The only thing I know a little something about is NASCAR. Let me tell ya, that is very limited too.

What's with the water challenge? I'm kind of interested in that. Out of everything to drink, that is probably my fav.

Oops.. forgot to answer the question on football. I know I'm probably gonna get some sneers and snickers, but considering I live in NC... and we did make it to the Super Bowl last year, who else would I pull for except the PANTHERS!!!!!! LOL Talk to you all later!

Hey all again, Just a quick post!

Deanna, sorry for so much rain, I hope it lets up for you. The dr said he doesn't have diabetes now, but could be heading in that direction. That's why she is sending me. thanks for asking. That was my concern to with so much drinking. He gets about 72-80 oz of fluid a day.

Crystal...hello again. I hope dh finds a job quick and I hope he agrees to go to the doctor with you. It's nice to have them experience some of the pregnancy with you.

Chirly, I am Melissa. SAHM of 2. 2 and 4. I am more a morning person then night, but I can fluctuate as needed lol. Welcome.

Amy, My mother is is 52 and looks terrific. She works very hard at it though. Interestingly, I used to work hard at it too. I don't know what happened. I used to eat so healthy and exercise 3-6 days a week. I kind of got bored with it or something and now it's so hard trying to catch up again. Good luck to you and Welcome.

Hey Spryng. Good luck with the cleaning today. Dh and I are going to try to hit the basement for a big clean out. We'll see how much time we have. Rotisserie Chicken in the crockpot sounds so good. What do you put on it. how long do you cook it. YUMMY sounding. I love when chicken just falls off the bone and the flavor is all the way through. Have a nice day.

Hey ladies...

Busy busy this morning. Penny, the boys didn't do ''real'' quilt squares, we just used felt. But it was so much fun to see them design their own, esp after reading a couple of books written for kids about quilting and the different designs. Anyway I'm attaching a picture of the spiderwebs and the quilt squares. =)

Hi all, took an hour and a half nap already and feel great.
Chrily, it really would make a difference if you were a morning person. Even being pregnant and not sleeping well, I'm usually up by 600 on weekdays, I sleep in on weekends. Kids don't get up til betwen 700 and 800 and Alisa, the oldest will sleep after that sometimes. I LOVE the mornings, it's MY time, I enjoy my coffee and get caught up on posts and prepare school and so on.

Well radar looks like it's going to clear up soon. Good thing cuz we need to leave here in half an hour. Shoot...as soon as I typed that it started raining again :( . Still won't miss the parade.

Chrily: Water challenge is to help some of us who don't drink as much as we should. Just friendly competition. I'll set the amount to 100 oz. today. I'm working on my first 20 oz bottle. Join in anytime you like. Just post that you're in and then how much you got in at the end of the day. Good luck.

Mel: Hope you get Bugga an appointment soon. Poor guy.

Cheri: Those quilt squares are so cute. We do alot of crafts here for gifts at the holidays.

Amy: I hope you are prepared. Chiefs vs. Panthers this Sunday, noon Central in KC.......GO CHIEFS!!!!!! And stay away form the chocolate ;) .

Crystal: Hope you get dh to go with you.

Spryng: Get off that game and come talk to us :p

Well better get ready to go. Maybe it will stop in time for parade....GRRRRR.

Will check in later with water challenge update.

Have a GREAT day.

Spryng yes I do experience lag on my laptop since it only has like 256 mb ram but my other computers all have 1 gb ram (1024 mb) and they go smooth as silk. Also when I bought memory for my pc to upgrade it from 512 mb to 1024 it cost me like 400 bucks for the ram cards. Most new computers you have to double the memory or it won't work.

Penny I miss you too!! I have tomorrow off so perhaps we can chat! You MUST get the sims 2!!!

Jilly you need to get it too!! My website addy is www.powell.firez.org I haven't had a chance to update it in awhile but I'm trying lol!

I have to work today from 3pm to 1am but I will post from work later on. OMG I forgot to tell you guys!! Last night I had a group of German bikers come to check in and one of them said something in german that i couldnt understand and I said "I'm sorry I don't know what he said" and they laughed and one guys answers " He says you have nice cleavage" OMG my face was so red. One more example to prove men are pigs lol ;)

Oh yeah I also forgot to say that Teagan took 6 steps today on her own. I didn't get the camcorder in time I only got one step on tape lol by then she was worn out lol

Ok Gotta get stuff ready to go to work!
Love to all!

Hey guys quick note from me just to say I'm here, kind of!! LOL I just got back from errands for the party with my mom and I think aside from picking up the cake and ice cream I've got everything done. I think now I am going to clean the kitchen and get her cake made so that I can have that off of my mind. Anyway I hope you all are having a great day! TTYL

Hi all. Just checking in. This has been the laziest day ever. After I clean the kitchen, we're gonna go spend some time outside. That means I'll have to give the kids a bath, AGAIN!!! I try to skip a night sometimes if we don't spend any time outside and get dirty and sweaty, but oh well.
Anyways, hope everyone is haveing a great day today. I'll check in later.

Ok guys I think I have enough time to get personal now. I just got Bayley's cake baked and am letting it cool now so that I can frost it and get it all done later. I also ordered a chocolate cake from costco with cream cheese filling and frosting. MMMMMMM hope I can stay out of it! I don't think a little piece would do any harm, do you? LOL BTW I am down a pound this morning so I'm back to the weight I have posted on my siggy which really made my day! Just hope I don't gain a whole bunch this weekend, I think I will be ok though, aside from the cake I might have I don't have plans to eat out or anything like that so I should be ok. Haven't drank much water today so those of you doing a water challenge are going to beat me! I'm up for one Monday though if you are! Mom just stopped by after her second trip to town today, she went back cause we forgot a whole bunch of things and she wasn't done shopping but I had promised dh I would be home at a certain time so he could work on his bike. Anyway enough about my day how has yours been?

Crystal it's nice to have a lazy day once in awhile right? Glad you are relaxing though, sounds nice.

Penny don't do it, don't get the SIMS!!!!! I'm ignoring Spryng and Michelles posts! LOL J/K they are enablers!! How was your mom's party? Cute that the boys wanted to throw her one, I'm sure she enjoyed it!

Spryng as if I want to go through the early stages of pregnancy again!! LOL Just kidding that game sounds pretty cool, I would get nothing done though and now that school is about to start that could only mean trouble. My life wasn't suffering so bad when it was Harvest Moon but neglecting my schoolwork has much bigger consequences! So did you get your house cleaned or what? Tell the truth now!

Hey Mel glad you had a good nights sleep! Do you think it was just a fluke or do you think the Malox could have worked? I hope everything is ok with his glucose and such, kids with diabetes can be so hard. I used to babysit a little one with it, I just feel bad for them. Keep us updated.

Deana I don't think we sent the rain cuz we still have it! I hope it goes away here too cuz Bayleys B-day is tomorrow! I'm going to pray and see what happens, it's been off and on here all day so maybe that's all it will be tomorrow. How was the parade? And the fair? Sounds fun! Sorry I missed you in chat last night, I went about 10 minutes after your last post but it was too late, darn it.

Hi Amy glad your son got into a better mood, that can be the pits. Stay away from the chocolate if you can! I know it's hard, I'm a chocholic so I crave it a lot but I have been pretty good lately. Hope you are having a good day!

Chrily I'm not a morning person either, I think it's genetic! LOL I do like to get up before my baby but if she is up before 8 it's not going to happen! I can get up at 8 and be alive but not much earlier than that! I feel your pain!

Cheri cute quilts squares. Don't you love it when lessons tie in with good books, it just makes everything that much more fun!

Hi Leigh glad you are accomplishing some stuff! Hope you are having a good day!

Hello Michelle! I found your website finally after looking a little more so thanks! Sorry you have to work again! ARRRRRGGGGGG That stinks! And what's up with a 10 hour shift!!! Hope to chat again soon!

Ok I think that about does it, I need to go finish cleaning this house but I am tired to so might take a nap! LOL I will probably be up late tonight cleaning cause I am having a hard time getting motivated. Dh and I made a "deal" that he would help me clean but he has yet to hold up his end of the bargain, I know he will eventually though cuz he knows it's an important day tomorrow. Ok ladies TTYL!

Well the rain finally stopped. We went to town, dropped Erik off for Color Guard, parked, went to buy umbrellas and as soon as we walked out the door, the sheriff was driving by announcing that the parade was cancelled. Lightning had struck the control box for the railroad crossing and the barriers were down and they couldn't get them back up until the railroad people showed up. Therefore the bands and floats could not get around them so the cancelled the whole thing. We were disapointed but that's how it goes. We did go to the fair and I let the kids play some, then we got homemade rootbeers and I got a Cajun Sausage on a stick for my and dh and brought them home. The man who makes them is a good friend of ours. Makes his own sausage and BBQ......sooooo good. So I was bad today. I am about 4 ounces away from my 100 for the day. How did everyone else do. I already saw yours Jill. Monday looks good for me at this point. We'll do another then. Anybody else?

Well I didn't send lunch with dh because I still had BBQ chicken in the oven and it wasn't done yet. So after the kids go to sleep I will run some to him. Now I have to find something to go with it.

I'm going to make it to chat for a while, but will have to leave.

Hey everybody! Today was pretty good after I went to my mom's house. We went to Wal-Mart and bought a few things to fix for dinner. It was so good!!! My mom takes these chicken breasts and puts a little garlic salt on them. Then she cuts up a bell pepper/red onion and puts it on top of the chicken in a baking dish. Sprinkles a little extra light olive oil and garlic salt and bakes it in the oven. Congratulations Emily on your weight loss! And to Jill for the loss as well. I definately steered clear of the chocolate today. Hopefully (fingers crossed) I will be able to have lost something by Thursday, God willing. Quick question... How do you ladies drink all that water without holing up the bathroom all day?? I drank about forty ounces today and felt like I was peeing my brain out! We had to stop twice at two different stores so I could use the restroom. LOL... Well, hope everyone has a good night! Talk to you all tomorrow!

Oh ya Amy also about the water, your body eventually finds things to do with it and you are able to drink more and not pee as much, I haven't hit that stage yet but I'm working on it! It really does help the weight loss too! Have a great night girls I've go to get crackin on this house!!!

Hello ladies!

So sorry I've been MIA once again. And actually it wasn't because I was on the computer! LOL! I played a little this morning but it was starting to run so slow that I got frusterated and just turned the whole computer off. So instead I cleaned some (still haven't got everything done, but its getting there) and played with the kids all day. Oh and I finished Man on Fire tonight... I was crying like a big baby at the end. Very good movie.
OK, someone asked about the crock pot rotisserie chicken? I just put lary's season salt on it, rolled up some aluminum foil to put under the chicken so it wouldn't swim in the fat and cooked it on high for about 5 hours. It was a 5 lbs chicken and it was so juicy and tender! The first time I've cooked one like that. But it was delicious. And now I have plenty leftover for lunches and snacks. I had some as a snack tonight with a little BBQ sauce to dip it in... yum!
Jill, that cake is too precious!! You are talented girl!
Michelle, I will be buying some memory very soon for my computer also... I just can't stand this slow motion crap, lol. So I'm glad yours run fine on the computer with more memory. I'm ordering some monday.

OK, sorry I can't get personal with everyone, I'm about to fall asleep in my chair! But all in all it's been a great day! (oh did I mention I conquered Luigi's mansion on gamecube today?? My kids thought it was something, lol... that was lots of fun) There is a chance I might get to see dh tomorrow morning... not sure yet. He's on his way to Denver so he'll pass through Olathe. But he has to leave no later than noon and I don't know if I want to do all that driving for just an hour or so of seeing him. The kids hate that. So I'm debating it. What would you do?

Ok, off to bed with me. G'nite!
