The last 5 1/2 yrs with James, I have come to appreciate everything that I have. To look back and see what I didn't have just amazed me!! I did have "toilet" as #5 but then I thought, I have hot water, I didn't have that for 7yrs!! I am SO thankful for EVERYTHING.
I am thankful for my 5 granddaughters:
Mackenzie, Makenzie, Madison, Macy and Caylin. They have enriched my life to no end.....
but since you said At Least 5 things, I will add:
my health, my sweet DH and the rest of my family, all my Jaded buddies, my church, food and shelter, (I didn't always have food and shelter) my pets, for staying OP, and for all the many, many blessings God sends my way every day.
I am thankfull for, and Im not even going to list my family and Skittles cause thats a given.
1. My health both mental and physical
2. My smile that always get me what I want....lol
3. Tim Horton's coffee that keeps me going...lol
4. Being able to read and having so many wonderful books to enjoy.
5. My mess cause it means I have too much stuff and people around me to make it.
Amazing, I never do this until someone mentions it. After you do it, you wonder why you don't make a list every day! There's a lot, so I'll see what I can come up with that starts with "C"...
1. My Cats - aren't pets great?
2. My Cable Modem - having the world at your fingertips is a beautiful thing.
3. My Car - the ability to get from point A to point B is all I ask, and life without it was highly unpleasant.
4. My Chai Tea Latte - Don't you love it when folks sitting in the Starbucks complain about gas prices? $2 a gallon for gas is insane, but apparently $25 a gallon for coffee is no big deal. Hehehe. Chai Tea with non-fat milk is just as good as the original, and if I make a production out of going to the Starbucks, sitting in a cushy chair for 15 minutes while reading something I *want* to read, I've got quite the treat!
5. My Clothes - No, they aren't any smaller, but they haven't gotten any bigger in 2 years, either. I have some *thin clothes* I keep for motivation (Don't we all?), and as a reminder of what a cute little bod I used to have (and can have again...)

1) that Katie's first day of being a Senior went well.
2) that the laundry is finished for another couple of days.
3) for sunny skies and a breeze
4) that Neal's B/P is ok
5) that I got to spend some time with a friend today.
1. I worked overtime, and had the funniest customer call and cracked me up.
2. Sandra Brown for keeping me in suspense, while reading her book.
3. My washing machine, cleaning supplies, javex wipes, pine sol, and windex
4. My sense of humour,,,cause I know I am treading on uneven ground...lol

With everything going so bad for me, this thread gives me a reason to struggle and think of anything, however small ,that is good in my life everyday.
so, here goes for today.
1. There was enough marshmallows left over from making a work potluck treat that I can bring some to snack on. ( low fat nibble treat, love them)
2. Not one phone call during the day to wake me up while trying to sleep in the heat.
3. Finally bought myself one of those personal Whaddermelons and enjoyed half for dinner. Yummy, love those things.
4. My sweetie was there to smile at me when I got up to get ready for work.
5. I have all my own teeth and they are still white and straight.
