Snookems

Hello there. I'm hoping someone can explain a little inconsistency I've found.
The other day I had a Harvey's Veggie Burger, side salad (no dressing) and diet Coke for lunch. According to the Canadian Fast Food Guide, a side salad from Harvey's is 3 points. But, when I look up all the individual ingredients of that salad (about a cup of lettuce, a few shavings of carrots, a few shavings of purple cabbage, and 1 slice of tomato) it worked out to be basically 0 points. There was not enough carrot to even count it as 1 pt, as it was litterally just a few shavings. According to the Complete Food Companion, there would have to be cups of each item to make it add up to 3 pts.
So... my question is, how do I count this? Now that I know I can get a relatively low point-value meal (and healthy one to boot), I want to make sure I'm recording it right - 3 points is 3 points and could make a big difference at the end of the day.
Thanks for your help.
Christine
