Hey, Crystal! You sound far more productive than I am! Anyway, I do have a load of laundry on, but only because my winning ebay items arrived - clothes for Liam - and I wanted to wash them before putting them away!
Spryng- good to hear from you - glad you enjoyed DH! My Dh is out of town tonight too. Frozen dinner for me!
Jill- you really should stop by here and help me out witht hte cleaning!

*posted in the last thread, just as you all started a new one apparently! - so I will put it here too :) *
Hey Ladies! I'm back from another long, fun weekend! I missed you all but when DH is home it seems like the computer colects dust since summers are so dang busy! I had a great birthday! Dh threw me a surprise party at Brewsky's (a bar and grill) and our WHOLE family and all of our friends were there, about 60 people! IT was so cool, I started crying. I have lost alot of people that I love lately, and to see everyone that I care about in one room was so cool, getting chills thinking about it! Today we are back to normal (finally) except for the massive mountain of laundry that is awaiting me! Also this desk that I am sitting at has so much crap piled on it, that I barely have room to move the mouse !!
I know that some of you were talking about bold colors in the house. I love them and they don;t scare me at all either! My whole kitchen, dining room and formal living room is red, tan and silver/chrome....I love red!
I can't wait to get my digital camera, dh got me one for my b-day but he just cut out a picture of one and told me that he wants me to pick it out! Then I can take pictures of our house, and other stuff..I would love to see some of everyones scrapbook pages and we could share ideas too if I could take pics and put them on here!
Well better get something done, dinner figured out too, sheesh, I don't even know whats in the fridge....hope to be able to get personal later, if not, tomorrow morning for sure!
BTW: I am starting "over" today on plan for sure! I sucked at it this weekend, and all last week! Today has been good, but I have no idea how I have maintained all this 2 weeks without eating right! ughh....talk to you all later!

LOL Leigh I dont think I would have the energy for your house too, all the cleaning the past couple of days is catching up with me! So what kind of clothes did you find on E-bay? I love buying stuff on there for Bayleigh <------ LOL!!! I love a good bargain!
Penny you darn well better catch up and everyone else too! Just kidding, I'm just having way to much fun on this cable internet so it is easy for me to not get to far behind! So what's up with the swiffer duster? I may have to get one since I own every other swiffer product. I love them! I should have bought stock when they first came out!
Kristin glad to see your back. That's awesome about the surprised party! How fun! I would have been off plan during my b-day too so don't worry about it, just get on plan now. Hope you get some of your laundry done!

Hi again :)
Penny- I missed your post! Well, you sound very productive. I also like the swifer for dusting. I need to do under the couches . . . we have hardwood floors in the living/dining rooms.
Kristin- :balloons: :gift: Happy (Belated) Birthday! Your party sounds touching! And I am sure it's all well-deserved . . . I started over yesterday, so we can be start-over-buddies :D
Jill- oh I just saw Baley's birth date in your signature - she and Liam are almost exactly 1 month apart :) Uh - don't get me started on ebay. I'm a bit of an addict and would rather not have any proof in writing in case DH finds out  Just kidding. I like to find some of the cuter boys stuff - especially French made - for some reason, French designer make adorable boys clothes and I'm not really sure why American designers don't. But I'm not buying from French ebay - just gently used items from American or Canadian sellers.
Well, got a bit done. A load of laundry is now drying, I took out all the trash, straightened the dining room table (our central dump). I just need to straighten the kitchen and will feel better about life. That's hard because Liam wakes up if he hears us putting away dishes or doing anything with dishes - sleeps through just about all else . . . Our place isn't large enough for him not to hear me, so I'll do that when he wakes up.
Had Santa Fe Rice and Beans (WW dinner) - it's okay - not one of my favorites. I desperately need to get to the store -maybe tomorrow!

Leigh thats cool about the French clothes you get for him! I didn't know you could even get that stuff around here, I mean on e-bay. I should look into it. What brands do you like? I noticed that our babies are only a month apart, same with Michelles daughter. That is pretty neat, we will all be celebrating 1st birthdays around the same time! Well I better get back to doing something besides vegging on this thing!

Crystal, I'm glad you are feeling better and I hope tonight is a better won with Andrew.
Penny, I got my new scale. It does lbs and body fat. I will let you know the numbers in the am. It might be off from the other one, so I'll do both till Friday.
Ricci, I would love to have Lacik surgery also, but my eyes are so bad I don't want to risk it. If it doesn't correct all the way, I would have to wear glasses. you can't wear contacts after that.
Leigh, Hey congrats on being OP today. I am having a great day too. I'm on the move here and it feels great! Also, about that lunch tomorrow. Eat before you go and tell her that your on a diet, so you ate before you came. If you feel funny showing up not hungry, just call her and tell her what you'd like to do. I'm sure she will understand.
Spryng, glad you got those pipes fixed. I can't believe there was a cup in the drain pipe. BOy oh boy.
Geri, sorry to hear about your sleepless nights. Bugga was up as usual last night. Not like last week, but 4 times is bad enough. I hope it was just a one night thing.
Jill, Glad Fly Lady is working for you. I must try it out too. Also, glad you got your Cable internet. You will be even faster at this posting then you already where.
Cheri, You are awesome, I would never have thought of using a fitted sheet. I will use your technique next time we build a fort. My kids love it, but I am also fixing it consitantly. Also, Congrats on that additional 1.5lb down. YAHOO!!!!
Jaymi, sorry you are not having a good day again. I hope it gets better for you soon.
Michelle, If your MIL is that bored, she can come clean here too. How's the co-worker, LMK if you need those HIP BOOTS.

Hello again all!
Well I feel productive today! After dh left I attacked my routines and got everything done. I already did the counter thing yesterday so that was done. So I worked for 15 min on my fridge (the top, for some reason it catches everything and dust piles up) and my microwave. So now it's all wiped down and tidied up and clean! makes me feel good, and both of them only took the 15 min! Dinner was leftovers.
mel, what are you up to tonight? Yeah I couldn't believe there was a cup in there either. I truly have no idea how or when it got there because Tanner is not allowed in the bathroom because he likes to play in the toilet so he hasn't been in there in forever. The other two never mess with stuff. so it must have got in there several weeks ago and just now started causing problems. But I'm just happy it's fixed.
Leigh, how is your first day back OP going? Good I hope! Sounds like you have been really busy today too!
Jill, I just noticed your message on the yahoo messenger, lol! You crack me up!
Kristin, your weekend sounds like fun!! What a sweet dh to throw you a suprise party and actually keep it a suprise! So how old are you now?
OK, got to hit a flybaby chat room really quick.. TTYL!

Hi again! I'm kind of bored  Liam is asleep, but not much I can do around the house . . .
Jill- there are so many options for girl clothes! What fun that would be (although even worse for the budget). You may want to check out Berlingot, Catimini, Le Top, Sophie Dess, Lili Gaufrette . . . oh the fun!
Mel- glad you are OP- you really are working hard! Good for you. Is your scale digital? We have a digital . . . it's a little too accurate
TTYL - I'm off to watch Nancy Grace Live on Court TV . . .

Good evening everyone.
Oh, I have two more tv shows that I like. Present is 7th heaven, and past is boy meets world. I got my house cleaned up today, like eveyone else. My oldest ds, Eric, got bit by some kind of bug in the middle of the night. He has some kind of reaction to bug bites, not allergic. Anyway his leg was red and puffy, and hot. So i gave him his medicine, and then stripped their room of everything, and set off a bug bomb. We went out to my moms house, and then found out they have fleas, so we left and went to wal mart for a while.
It sounds like everyone is doing their cleaning today. Hopefully, I won't have to clean this much again for a while. Have a good evening.

Kristen,
I am so glad you had a wonderful day! I wished you a happy bday yesterday but I know I was a little late! Great that you are starting over today!
Jill,
Geri, Spryng, and I just did the same thing with 1st bday's in June...... they are all about the same age :) Hope you had a good day today! Ya know the swiffer duster... the commercial where the woman is dusting and it ends up being her friends house.....lol It has been around for a while but I just got it.....
Has anyone bought the new disposal toliet bowl cleaners.... I am not sure about that one so I was waiting for reviews on it.
Spryng,
I still can't believe a cup was in there.... that is so strange.... Glad it is fixed though. I am happy you got your 15 min room done... Great! I know my kitchen needs some tlc too :) I guess I need to go to flylady and get started this week while they are on it!
Mel,
Awesome about the scale!!! WOOOHOOO! I can't wait to hear your results on Friday! :) :) :)
Michelle,
How cool that your mil wants to come clean! When do they arrive????
Geri,
Ok you were the last one for a little one not to sleep well. I don't wanna catch it please!!! Sorry you had such a ruff night! I know Andrew just cut two two yo molders. You think that may be Tony's prob?
Crystal,
Hope tonight is a better night for you!
Ricci,
Sorry I pmed you this morning... lol There is a lady from the tops board that had pmed me... and I thought it was you....lol
Leigh,
I like that ww meal. I have had it before and I bought it again today. Recommend some to me please :) Glad you got some work done around the house! What do you have planned for Thursday for when the nanny comes? How is Liam doing with her?
Jaymi,
You poor thing. Hope you have a better day tomorrow. Sounds like you have been really busy!
Well I am gonna jump in the tub while everyone and everything is quiet :) Have a great evening :)

Hey girls, sounds like everyone is doing well.My dh started back to work today. It's always nice having him home.He is very helpful with the kids and around the house. It's hard to believe there are still guys like him left.
Anyhow we got school shopping out of the way.We ended up spending about 650.oo mostly at Wal-Mart but we also went to Target and Pay less for a couple of things we could'nt find at Wal-Mart.Believe it or not I hate shopping.I don't even try on cloths i'll buy whatever I need, take it home and then try it on.If it does'nt fit i'll give it away.I love shopping for things for the house and stuff for the kids, but I HATE cloths shopping.
As far as me being OP ,TOM has me off plan till friday.I"m not even going to fight it.Hopefully I won't eat all the food lol  .
I hope everyone has had a good weekend.I got to go to NC and visit my family and my cousin finally had her baby. She would'nt let me bring it home though  can't say I blame her the baby was so cute.It was a little girl.
Well I gotta get off here I'm being paged by one of my curtain climbers.ttyl :D
By the way what happened to my siggy ?she's MIA :?:

Hey everyone! Baby is down for another nap and dh just went to his softball game, it was too dang hot so we stayed home, it is currently 99 degrees. Too hot for the baby if you ask me.
Penny, LOL for some reason I though that duster was a new thing but I know what you are talking about. That looks cool I don't have it though, I just have the swiffer stuff for the floor. My mom has the disposal toilet things and I think she likes them. I want to get one too but I just got the lysol ready brush. I don't like it but I feel guilty throwing it away since it is fairly new. I am all about disposable though, makes me feel like there aren't as many germs lurking around, you know. I am very anti-sponge and dishcloth. I guess I'm kind of obsessive compulsive when it comes to germs! LOL!
Leigh thanks for the list of brands! I checked them out and there are some really really cute clothes, actually I should be yelling at you cause I don't have money to spend on them right now! Just kidding, thanks though!
Mel good luck with your new scale. I just got a digital scale from Wal-Mart that is Denise Austin I like it, seems pretty accurate and weighs half pounds so that is good. Hope you have a restful night!
Spryng you know I want to be just like you! LOL! So I had to say that on my away message! It is funny though cause when people post and say they are cleaning I feel like I should too so I do! My house has never been so clean! Kind of funny. I ordered some flylady stuff last night to help me get organized, it is more for when I start school cause that is when it is going to be hard! I hope it come soon cause it looks really cool. A cup in your drain? That is so weird, at least it wasn't a rat or something............gross!
Ricci I love 7th heaven too! I was watching all the re-runs for awhile but I turned our satellite off so we don't get anything good anymore!
Ok we're having lasagna for dinner but don't get too excited it was a frozen one! Its probably not the best for the diet but I will try to fill up on salad first so that I don't eat too much of it. What is everyone else having (or had) for dinner?

Ricci- sorry you have such a stressful day! Hope Eric's better. I used to like Boy Meets World too.
Penny- I have the Clorox disposable toilet cleaner and I love it! It makes cleaning easier and I don't have to deal with cleaning the brush. Liam really likes the nanny a lot, which is a relief. Time in the tub is awesome! Hope you enjoy it.
Angel- hi! Sounds like you have a keeper DH - glad he's so helpful. That's nice. DOn't worry about TOM, just give yourself a little leeway this week and then plan to get back OP when you can :)
Jill- well, when you do have some extra money, I'd suggest checking those out on ebay first - you can often get excellent deals . . .
Well, I'm now out of points. I had a WW ice cream. Ohhh! There's a cute Greyhound on TV. I love Greyhounds. I love hounds in general!

Well just finished cleaning the kitchen.Hey JILL,You said you were anti sponge.I use scratchy spongges, just do what I do.throw it in the dishwasher every time you wash dishes and that kills the germs. But I only keep use one at a time because i'm kinda picky about the germ thing to.
I have'nt tried the disposable toilet thingy's yet.But if I ever think to get it I will.
Well I got to get off here and get the kids in bed. You'd think they would know the routine by now. lol ttyl.

So I just let Bayley feed herself Lasagna and what a disaster!! I am currently washing her high chair pad and it took 6 wet wipes to clean her off! She liked it though. I took a picture and posted it on the MSN site. Kristin was saying earlier she would like people to post where they live, like a picture of their house or something. I think that would be cool. I think I will take a picture tonight and post it, you all should do the same, it would be cool to see where everyone lives! Just an idea, ok baby is quiet better go see what she is into!

Hi Ladies.....
I am on a roll today! My house is almost spotless! I am gonna clean the toliets and vaccuum tomorrow before I leave for church. Then I will be totally done for a few minutes at least...... until the kids change clothes again...lol
Michelle,
Are you working this evening? I know you said you were gonna be mia but I miss you already! Thanks for my card! I got it today! You are such a great friend!!!!
Jill,
Lasagna is so good. That is what I had at Olive Garden last night... well it was the trio. We had a taco bake tonight. It was pretty good. I know what you mean about being a germ freak! I am at my worst when someone in the hosue gets sick... The whole house is totally scrubbed down!
Leigh,
Are the ww ice creams good? Are they yogurts or just low fat ice cream? Hope you are having a good night!
Angel,
I just checked into your siggy but I can't find anything on there that looks wrong.... the addy i mean... :( Michelle is the puter wizard so maybe she can figure it out!
Gotta go finish hubby's bookwork! I promised myself I would do it before I scrapbooked tonight..... so we will see!!!!
Chubba
08-09-2004, 10:13 PM
Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak
I wish my computer was upstairs or I had a laptop...but then I'd never get anything done :p
All you flyladies out there...get on over here NOW! Every time I try to do something during the day Tony decides he wants my attention. Boy oh boy can I tell the difference between the one who went to daycare 5 days a week and the one who is a Mama's Boy! Yeesh! There are days....
I have one of the disposable toilet cleaners...can't remember which one but it was the first one that came out. I don't care for it. I feel like I can scrub harder with the brush...the disposable handle just feels so flimsy to me. I don't think it's clorox...doesn't that one have a sponge/scruby kind of thing on it?
Jill...99 hey? It was 83 here today. The high on Wed is only supposed to be 64..yep, 64 in August! Disgusting. Don't know what's going on around here. 99 is a little warm for me but 64 is downright not nice!
Angel, I just got over TOM...didn't mean to send him to you. :( I only ate almost everything...not quite everything!
Penny..don't think it's molars. He's cutting eye teeth but I think something just woke him up and he decided he wanted to be up. Hopefully there will not be a repeat performance tonight.
Spryng...a plastic cup hey? I assume it went down the toilet? What fun. Hate to think of what the plumbers charged you but it sounds like a job for the professionals. Glad your Dh got to come home and decompress with you. How's his dieting going? Is he still losing?
Hi to everyone else out there. Don't mean to not address you all but I was just interrupted by a phone call and ended up chatting for 15 minutes and I have a ton of things to accomplish tonight if I don't fall asleep first  .
I gained 1.5 lbs. Hopefully that will be enough to get my but back OP...that's 2.5 up from my low of 205 a few weeks ago. WRONG DIRECTION! Tomorrow's a brand new start right??
Have a wonderful night all!

Ricci~ Thanks for the welcome!
Jill~ Thanks for the welcome and the congrats! I honestly don’t remember how to go about with out having my son. He has changed our lives for the better and it is such an awesome feeling! Congrats on the weight loss!
Jaymi~ Thanks for the welcome and I am glad to be here!
Spryng~ Thanks for the link. I will go and check it out. I actually have a picture of me on my son’s website. It is http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/o/our1munchkin there is a password on it, and it is baby. Go to his picture gallery and there is a picture of me, him and his cousin Roni (Veronica) from 4th of July.
Cheri~ Thanks for the welcome.
I see that there was a QOTD about heritage. Well I am half German and half Irish. My hubby is Irish, German and Blackfoot Indian.
Geri~ Thanks for the welcome!
Ladies, I noticed that my bio info wasn’t added to the header for this thread.
I am going to go and pull out my work out tapes while I am thinking of it, and I will start those in the morning. Cause as soon as I finish checking my email….it will be off to bed so I can not drag booty. I want to be in somewhat awesome shape for his baptism (not sure I can do it since it is this coming Sunday) but it is a start, right?

I accidentally got off track on Monday, and I had an ice cream. But I have been sticking to my guns about the one glass of pop a day. (except Sunday I had two....but I have been working on it.)
A question for you all. do you think it would be beneficial for me to write down everything that I eat in one day? Also, is there a free site that I can go to and post all what I eat for one day and it tell me how many calories it is? I think some of you mentioned www.fitday.com but when I tried to go there, it didn't work for me for some reason. I will try it again and go from there.

Mindee,
Hi There! If you want your bio added to the top of the list, please post a short two line bio on your next post. :) It sounds like you are doing well with your weight loss efforts! That is just awesome! Good for you! :cheer: I clicked on your fitday link and it came up. Maybe trying it again tomorrow it will work! Good Luck :goodluck:
I am still working on hubby's bookwork so I guess no scrapbooking for me! If I don't get this done I will just get further and further behind! grrr..... I am logging in all the invoices and deposits and I am behind about three months :( but I am almost finished now :) Tomorrow night I will have to do the deposit and pay the bills for the week. And then it starts all over...
I know you all didn't need to hear that..... but heck at least someone is listening to me......lol Everyone else here is sleeping..... :)
I will be up for a while if anyone wants to chat! :)

Penny~ Thanks for the encouraging words. I got the link to work, so I am all set to go on there. When we tried to get an estimate on what Brandon weighs, I stepped on the scale and it told me that I had gained weight... I didn't read anything in to it since we just came in from being out in the hot sun, and I could tell that my hands had swelled a little. thanks for the good luck.
I put in all that I ate yesterday and all the activities that I did, and it showed me that I was burning more calories then I had eaten. So I am taking that as a good thing.
My bio for the top of the thread:
I am Mindee, and I will be 22 on 8/17. I am married to Tommy, who is 27, and we have been married for 2 years. We have a little boy, Brandon, who is almost 4 months.

Hey there girls - I had to work tonight and boy i mean work. we clean banks and for some reason, they all decided to have like a frat party in their breakrooms. Pop spilled everywhere, cake ground into the carpet, etc. Sheesh! :o Now I am so tired, I promised I would get personal with you all, hoever, there were so many posts since my last one, that I simply can't remeber what everyone said! :) I will do my best! haha!
Spryng - I am officially 22, don't feel any different though! :) Glad you guys got the plumbing thing figured out. Our disposal got clogged and I had to run and by a plunger, we didn't even have one of those! Sydney had put 2 of her little "teaparty" forks in the sink without me noticing !!!! :(
Penny - I love to scrapbook, but I usually have to go somewhere else to do it..2 dogs and a 2 year old, someone always runs off with somehting, and I usually end upi finishing chores at night, so I can't do it then! I should start though, I am way behind! I went to MSn chat, you weren't there! :?: You were probably at the yahoo thing huh?!? I haven't signed up for that, I think I would confuse myself too much! haha!
Welcome to you Mindee! :) You will love it here! Promise!
JIll - Thanks for the encouraging words, I am feeling better already just getting OP today for the first time in 2 weeks almost. Now if I can just ge tmy butt up and moving around !!!! :coach: I always love to see how everyone decorates their homes and stuff, it is always really fun to see inside other peoples homes..this is a little secret about me....if someone leaves there shades open I look in when I drive by, to see how they decorate! Good morning all!
Sorry I didn't get back on here last night. I found a really neat site http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-hgflylady and on mondays they meet at 7 pm (central) for a chat and a cleaning challenge and such so I joined it last night and boy was that fun! It was an hour long, but 10 min intervals... we did some crisis cleaning, pretended guests were going to arrive any second so we did some quick cleaning. We did 10 min in our kitchen, 10 min in our living room, which was great because I had been wanting to attack my entertainment center for awhile now and get it straightened up, but that zone isn't until next week or something so I didn't want to get ahead of myself. Then we did 10 min in the bathroom, and after every 10 min we would report what we got done and chat for awhile. It was fun! So I was thinking... for those of us that do flylady here... how about a weekly or semi weekly flylady chat at msn or yahoo for a 15 min challenge or something similar?? Could be fun!! LOL. Let me know what you all think. But I did find that cleaning with all those other women made me want to put more effort into my own and make those 10 min intervals count!! So I got alot done. But anyway, let me know what you think!
After that was done I watched Body Work on TLC, got the kids in bed and crashed... I was so tired last night!
Today I plan on getting my routines done, 15 min zone work and crocheting, I haven't crocheted in a couple days now and I'm itching to get some done. The pattern I'm working on now requires alot of counting so it's hard to do with the kids hanging on me or wanting my attention alot.. it's a very easy pattern, just alot of counting.
Ok, time to get personal!
Leigh, I hope you didn't stay bored too long last night! ;) And yes, I'm very relieved to have the plumbing all back to normal again! Nice to not worry about nasty stuff filling up my bathtub! LOL
Ricci, I like 7th Heaven too... haven't seen very many episodes but what I have caught is cute. Very family oriented show.
Penny, I've had those swifter dusters for a while too and I love them! I use them alot for my ceiling fans... really cleans those blades without making the whole room dusty.
Angel, glad you got all your school shopping done! Sounds like fun. I used to love that time of year when I was in school. Hey thanks for the tip on putting the sponge in the dishwasher! Never thought of that but what a great way to keep it sanitized!!
Jill, what flylady stuff did you order?
Did I miss the QOTD somehow yesterday? My fav tv shows? Hmm... I love CSI.. Six feet under, sopranos and deadwood... The Days is pretty good right now too
Geri, I would love to come over and help clean your house just to visit with you!! And dh quit his diet a couple weeks ago. He didn't gain what he lost back but he hasn't lost anymore.. but he is still trying to make better choices and no sugar. So it's not all lost, lol Sorry about your gain! But you are so close to getting out of the 200's... hang in there girl!!
Mindee, thanks so much for posting that thread of your pic! I think you are so pretty! And I think journalling is the key to getting and keeping weight off. Write down everything you eat and drink and you'll see how is keeps you accountable!
Oh my goodness! I didn't realize there was a new thread! I'll have to paste this over there... sheesh! LOL
Crystal, I will post my first and middle name but not my whole because of safety reasons (this is the internet, lol, highway to the WORLD! LOL) My first name is Krystol and my middle is Spryng, and I go by Spryng, lol. As you know. Sorry you had a terrible nights sleep, hopefully you can nap today. So did you get approved for the building of your new house? I forget.
Ok, I think I am officially caught up! LOL!
Better post this before more posts sneak in, TTYL!
