I have a SINS book from '99 (Volume 3 I think).

Do you think this book maybe out of date and I should invest in a new up to date one ~ or do Sin vales saty the same?

Cheers! :D

They change. If you buy the mag from your group it comes with a leaflet of updates. I doubt it really matters though.

I would get the current syns book jan 2004 if i were you. 99 is a long time ago - and i know the syns have had a great overhaul which started this year - and a great deal has changed syn wise since then chick :) buts its up to you - other people lost weight using those syn values at the time - its just that the syn values now may help you lose weight faster (which is what we all want!) :)

Thanks kelly and veggie!

I might have to invest in a new copy, just to make sure I'm not kidding myself! :D

Quick Thought ~ Can I get this from any local class (as I'm not attending any?)

And - i prob shudnt say this (but im not working for them...yet!) - but people seem keen on selling slimming world books on ebay :)

Me too I love stickers :p But it is expensive especially if it is going to take forever like me.

I tried the class a few years ago and didn't find it very motivating ~ the same lady runs it now so doubt it would have changed that much! Also cost is another factor ~ I'm trying to see how I go without the classes but if the weight loss doesn't seem to be coming off I'll probably end up going to one!

I might buy some stars so my husband can stick them on the fridge when I lose lbs!

I know what you mean - especially when the Hifi Bars are added to the basket :) yum yum! And then there is the mag which I wait desperately for - that shoud be out more often me thinks!

But - I just think about all the crap food I used to spend well over £3.95 a week on (was more like a day!) and I think it a small price to pay to lose weight. If someone offered me a lifetime one off "slim pill" for £10K i would buy it! Beg borrow or steal! :s:

I hear you! :D I'll wait for you to beg, steal and borrow themoney ~ then I'll mug you for the pill!

Bought the mag yesterday and was well impressed ~ waiting now for the next one! :D

Is that the price of a class? £3.95?

It doesn't surprise me though that people are getting fatter. It's cheaper to eat stodgy fattening food!

Haha! Mug me for the pill! :D

One day - i bet there will be such a pill! Just like 100 years ago and they probably spoke about "Mobile phones" in such a way!

But for now - us people living in the dark ages must stick together and do it the hard old- fashioned way - like washing clothes with a dolly and a mangle :)

Off to class now! Fave day of the week!
