Hello again!!
mel thanks for starting the new thread!!
Jill, I love subway subs. Which one did you get. My fav is the roast beef. Did you get no cheese?? And your dinner sounds great! I like to make my baked potatoe and then use the spray butter on it with FF sour cream... always hits the spot. Here is where we will be chatting tonight http://groups.msn.com/MomslosingWeight and if you join at 10 pm central time it will be fine.. we girls can chat for hours!!
Geri I didn't take you for a romantic! LOL.. for some reason I saw you as a thriller type of girl, lol. ;) I have to start thinking about weaning Tanner from the bottle and pacifier. One at a time though. He's almost 14 months old now so as soon as his formula runs out (I have a few more containers) I will start working on the bottle dissapearing, it just makes me so sad since he's my only baby!! :( When do you leave for vacation?? Thanks for the info on those bagels!! Only 3 pts for the whole thing?! That is fantastic!! I love bagels and cream cheese, I'm definitely going to look next time I'm at the store... so tomorrow!! LOL.
Welcome back Lori!! I hope you are here for good! Congrats on the weight loss thus far! You will find that lots of us are on ww too, great support system here.
Cheri, you have a great attitude about your weight loss and your diet plan... you will hit your goal weight thinking like that! LOL... keep it up! Being so motivated really can be contagious!
Crystal, sounds like you are ready for school to start, you are very organized. I don't think I could do homeschooling... but of course if these schools here turn out to be bad or something then I'd definitely do it.
Ricci, I always worry about that when I want to take the kids to the park. I worry that there will be too many kids there or big kids or grumpy parents, etc. Holds me back. I figure once school starts here for everyone else I'll take them more often... I'll take them to the lake too more often. I just don't like to be around so many stranger... ironic huh? ;) LOL... but it's true. So how is your new denise austin workouts going? I'm still thinking about buying that dvd. Seeing any difference? Did you ever break that plateau??
Well ladies... dinner came out great. All the kids ate well which makes me happy. Now they are doing their own things. Tanner is running wild, lol, Ava is playing a learning game on the computer (the other one) and Bubba is playing Mario Sunshine on my gamecube. He is pretty good at it for a 3 yo. They learn those games fast.
I have 4 pts left today so I think I'll have some of those chips ahoy 100 cal snack pack things... anyone try those yet? The chocolate chip ones are pretty good. Kinda like a sweet cracker.. but only 2 pts so it's worth it. Wi is tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath. I'll be lucky to have a 1-2 lb gain... hopefully no larger than that. It would be a miracle if I maintained... so I'm not hoping for that. But we'll see in the morning. Ok... I'm off here for now. Big brother is on at 7!! WOO HOO!! LOL

Well, I got Bugga to eat something today. I sliced Apple very thin, kind of like a potato chip, and put PB in between two slices. He at an entire Gala apple with PB. So, when he didn't eat his tortillini for Dinner he got it again.
Can't chat, sorry ladies. 11pm EST is too late for me. Have to catch u another time.

Spryng... I love thrillers too but for a movie that I would watch over and over and over again I love the romantics or the 'chick flicks'. I also love Dean Koontz..I have a ton of his books. I think it was you that read one of his. Oh and the Bruce Willis movie... can't think of the name with the little blond kid... I LOVED it! It had me and Dh going until the very end! We own it but it's not the same after you see it the first time. Arrrrgh...what's the name of it??? The Sixth Sense ... had to open another window and do a search  .
We leave on the 2nd after Dh gets home from work and we'll be home on the 13th I think. I may get to check in at BILs house when we visit there but it depends on the kids.
Hey, we still haven't heard from Leigh yet today. She wasn't going anywhere that I know of was she? There were so many posts that I admit I was scanning them quickly to catch up!
Well I'm going to hang at chat for a while and see if anyone shows up. I know I'm early but I'll be asleep by 10

Haven't started the coffee. Don't want to make too much noise being up. I've been up since 4 AM. Andrew went right to sleep last night in his bed and then woke up at 12 something. We slept on the couch until 4, then I laid him down and thinking he wouldn't stay down, I stayed up, fortunately, because then he came in here at like 430 and laid on the couch until he was asleep and then I put him in his bed. I thought I could still get some sleep, BUT, I'm stuffy and it's worse when I lay down, and I'm hungry and I hate trying to go to sleep with a growling stomach. So I just decided to stay up, I still got my 6 hours in and I'll TRY to nap today.
So, I was thinking about Leigh too, but she hasn't been OP and sometimes when some of us aren't OP, then we don't feel good to check in, not that that has happened to her, but it's a possibility. Besides, her nanny comes on Thursdays, right? That means she may have been out running errands yesterday. I'm sure we'll hear from her today.
Spryng, I can't stand the school district we're in. It's where I graduated from but things are so different now than they were then and they weren't even great then. But honestly I don't feel like I have another choice. I don't think or I know she wouldn't get the learning she needs stuffed in a crowded classroom and it wouldn't be on a Christian curriculum. I know I can do her so much better here than at any school. Besides, like I said yesterday, Texas is the easiest state to homeschool in.
Penny, when does your school start? Where are your kids gonna go?
Geri, I love chick flicks too. I wait until dh is gone out with friends or something so he doesn't sit there and make fun of the movie I'm watching. I've been wanting to see "Win a Date with Todd Hamilton", since it came out and I haven't gotten to.
Mel, glad ds ate something. Something is better than nothing for sure. Hope he slept better tonight.
QOFD: WHAT IS YOUR MUST HAVE MAKE UP ITEM?
My answer: 3 things, if I wear nothing else, I must have powder, blush and lipstick.

Hello chicks! I tried to update last night but my computer was acting stupid. Well anyways I’m pretty tired this morning. I’m drinking my coffee. I just ate a turkey sandwich for breakfast so I guess I’ll be ok. I forgot to journal yesterday. I had good intentions.. But it didn’t happen. I exercised for 48 minutes yesterday. I just don’t feel right if I don’t exercise for an hour. It takes that long to work up a good enough sweat. And I don’t feel like I have don’t anything if I don’t sweat. I guess I’m going to have to wake up earlier. I don’t ever get a chance to really comment on the journals. I barely get a chance to post! ! I know my daughter is gonna wake up soon. They actually have a cold front coming in… but it doesn’t get cold until late.. And cold to them is like 68 degrees. Which is good to me! I’d rather be cold than hot any day…. Except when I’m around water! Well anyways I got 2 swimsuits.. Well actually I got 2 tops and two pairs of $3 shorts. The tops that I like cover my stomach.. comes with bikini bottoms… which I refuse to wear. Then the tops with the shorts are little bitty! One of the outfits fit.. But the other one.. Which is made the exact same way and is the same size.. Is hilariously too small and both sides of my boobies pop out!! So of course since I’m the take stuff back queen, I’m going to take it back and get me another one. I can’t try on stuff with a toddler and a big ole’ basket full of stuff! Maybe this time though.. Because Walmart is almost 20 miles away.. Too much gas money to waste. Anyways I have 15 minutes to get ready to exercise and stuff… if the baby don’t wake up… so I better go… I will talk to everyone soon!!

I have to vent for a minute.
My dh buys his breakfast and lunch EVERY day, every once in a while I'll pack him a lunch, but that gets costly as well and it gets boring. Anyways, he usually spends about $10.00 a day. We don't have EXTRA money EVER left over each week. Our bills are maxed and etc., etc., etc. So when I have cash on me, I give it to him so he doesn't have to use his debit card. It should help him stay on budget somewhat. So yesterday I gave him the $8.00 I had and thought, that should last him all day. If he counts his pennies, it should. Then he comes home with a receipt from Jack In The Box for over 5$ and he used the debit card. I asked him if he spent all that $8.00 AND used the debit card. He said yes he bought, his friend/cousin breakfast because he didn't have any $. Let me tell y'all. This friend is a 21 yo, lives with his parents, has NO car payment, NO credit cards, NO house payment, NOTHING. Maybe insurance and gas and MAYBE he gives his family some $ although I know they DON'T demand it. I said, "Yeah because he's got lots of responsibilities". He said he had to pay his fines to his probation officer. And I said, sounds like a personal problem. He doesn't have a family, a car payment, 3 kids, a wife NOTHING. And I left it alone after that. I had to state my frustration. But I'm not a nagger and I can't be. If I gripe too much, he'll tell me I'm being a b**ch and we'll fight. So I can't really argue. But I have to wonder what's going on in his mind. He gripes about $ and that we don't have any and where does it all go and then pulls this crap.
I'm sorry, I had to vent. I'm getting off now.

Morning all. I don't know how I'm going to make it through this day. I am tired, beyond tired. Got the kids to bed and about an hour later, my DH did something to his knee and had to take him to the ER. At 1030 I called my friend to come stay with the kids. She works in the a.m though. We were at the hospital until 3:30 this morning. Bugga got up my friend said at 230 and she was in his room an hour rubbing his back...uhhhh. I felt so bad for her, since she has to work. He got up right after she left and I had to give him a few minutes of snuggle too. He slept until 7:00.. Thank god it wasn't earlier. I can barely move now. DD didn't even know we were gone, since she never woke during the night. I've never seen my Dh in so much pain. He had LOCK KNEE. All you twenties chickies, just wait 'till your thirties...LOL My dh is 38 and I'm 30. I hope I can get some rest later.
Jaymi, I know what you mean about trying clothing on with a toddler. Impossible. I also buy and return if I can. ANd if I'm pretty sure it will fit.
Geri, where will you be going on the 2-13th. I hope somewhere good.
I hope Leigh's ok too and Liam. We moms, get busy with the kids and we focas soley on them.
Crystal, I hope your cold subsides soon. Having a cold when you're prego isn't fun at all and always seems to take longer to go away. I hope Andrew sleeps better tonight. I guess that first night was a tease. UHHH!!!
Penny, today is weigh in day. I'll have to weigh a bit later. The scale is in my bedroom, and DD is sleeping on the floor and DH is sleeping in the bed there. I think I made it. We'll see for sure. I just hope I can weigh in before I eat.
Anyway, Idon't know how much I'll be on today. I hope this thread doesn't go nuts on me.

Do you ladies mind if I join you all?
My name is Mindee, and I will be 22 in 11 days (on 8/17). I am married to Tommy, 27, and we have been married for 2 years. We have an adorable almost four month old son (he will be 4 months on 8/23) whose name is Brandon.
You can see in my siggy, all my weights as of now.
I am looking to get rid of all the baby weight and then some. I have always been overweight since I can remember, so once and for all I want to get down to an ideal weight for my height, and to be healthy and happy for my son and hubby.
Thanks for listening and letting me join.

Hello chicks! I got in my 60 minutes of exercise. It was hard though.. My knee is really killing me. Which seems weird since I hadn’t exercised in like 3 days or so when it started hurting. I didn‘t do anything else… so I wonder what it is! And with all the ice-cream I‘ve been eating.. You wouldn‘t think calcium would be an issue!! Boy have I been craving those Frosty‘s from Wendy‘s. I almost bought some of those no sugar added fudge sickles…(that doesn’t look right!) but I was scared I‘d get hooked on them. But heck.. That‘s gotta be better than nothing! I also LOVE banana fudge pops… but they don‘t come in the f/f… or s/f. Well at least not out here anyways. When I take that swimsuit top back, I‘m through buying swimsuits.. Unless they go on sale for $3 or $1.. Then heck.. I‘ll sell them on ebay or something! I‘ve noticed that a lot of people buy clearance items and sell them for more…. Or get more when people start bidding on them. I guess that‘s legal… hmmmm. Anyways I‘m tired as a dog. I can‘t fool around on the computer today, I have to do some housework. My DH said that we were supposed to go to the beach with his friends.. So who knows.. They might end up coming over.. So I need to prepare instead of getting mad over it… Besides.. If I kept my house up better, than I wouldn’t have to clean it so drastically when we have company… AWWW who am I kidding… these kids dirty up constantly. Is it tax-free weekend anywhere else?!?!? Now that could be more trouble for me…. But the baby does need some more pampers.. It‘s tax-free on everything right?!? Anyways I will try to come back later and get personal… have to start getting stuff together now! The store will probably be packed!!!!! Talk with everyone later!!!
P.S. Crystal- don't you know that when men do things.. it's ok!! Now if you were to do something like that... all hell would break lose.. how do I know?!?!? Because that is the main fight over here all the time. He could go spend money on stupid and ridiculous things.. and it's ok. but If I go buy some toilet tissue or some pampers... It's a big fight! So I feel ya.. and your'e right.. nagging doesnt get anywhere.. because if he's anything like my DH they are always right and it doesnt make a difference what we say... They don't realize things untill it's the other way around... and when your dh doesnt have any money for breakfast.. and the other guy does and doesnt help him out..then he'll see the light. I don't give the best advice.. because a lot I say is out of anger... but also out of experiance.. STOP giving him the last that YOU have.... what if something happens and you need cash... He's a grown man.. if he can't be responsible enough to manage his own money.. don't worry about it.. When he swipes that card and it says "insufficient funds" then he'll think next time... And it may sound mean.. and hopefully this doesnt offend you.. but damn... this is from experiance.. like maybe 3 days ago!!!  So if If this is offensive.. just ignore it.. If not.. just laugh! But also think about it... Well ok.. that sure hit a nerve!! If my hubby wasnt black.... I'd think me and Crystal was sharing the same husband..... :lol3:
Mel- I hope you get some rest... or a nap... or something.. If not I wish you a boost of energy! Good luck on weigh-in.. mine is tomorrow!
Hi, Spryng, Geri, Michelle, Leigh,Kristin, Penny, Ricci, Jill, Cindi, Angel, Cheri... and anyone else I missed! Have a blessed day!

Crystal~ Thanks for the welcome. I will be sure to keep up with this thread! I think I have found a website that I will be on everyday! I live in Michigan. And I am not doing any specific plan at the moment. Just watching what I eat, cutting my portions down, exercising more, drinking more water & juices and less pop.

Good morning all!!
I am so excited this morning!!!! I actually lost weight this week!!! Yes I did!!! How did I do that?? I have no clue seeing how I ate badly for over a week last week and have only been OP since monday! But I know I was up a lb or so last week due to TOM and the week before due to bad eating... but I'm at 125.5 today!! So that is at least a 1.5 lb loss!!!! I'm so psyked!!! Almost to my goal weight!!! I really am dumbfounded. I honestly thought I'd see a small gain this week... a miracle if I maintained, but a loss???? inconcievable!! LOL! Ok... I'm on cloud nine.. I did notice my clothes were fitting really well this week and I bought a new pair of 7/8 shorts that fit perfectly but I thought it was just because TOM was over and my bloat was gone... but I'm losing weight!! YIPPEE!!! ok.. I'll stop gloating now, but there will be a smile on my face the rest of the day!
Ok, I know what QOTD mean... what does QOFD mean? But my make up must is.. foundation and masacara... but like Penny I wear everything but blush. But if I'm in a hurry or just running to the store and back it's foundation and mascara for sure. Has anyone seen that new foundation from mabelleine? Is called a mousse or something? Looks like frosting! I may buy some today, I'm getting low on my own anyway.
Ok plans for today... after I'm done here I will go hop in the shower, get dressed and all that good stuff and go grocery shopping. I may treat myself to a burger and fries since I have my flexpoints today. Then come home and crochet or something. Not sure about dinner today... maybe frozen pizza or something easy to make. I don't normally cook much on friday's. What do you all have planned?
Penny congrats on the lb gone!! Hey what is that challenge you were talking about?
Leigh, so glad to know you are fine. We were all wondering about you yesterday!
Mindee, welcome!! (love your name) I am Spryng (pronouned spring, like the season) I have 3 kids, ava 4, bubba 3, and Tanner 1. I've been married 6 years and am 24 years young... lol. I am on weight watchers and hit my first goal weight in april and am working on my personal goal weight. I hope you find yourself at home here. This thread can get very busy but just post when you can! :)
Mel, so sorry about your rough night! I hope you are able to get a nap in today. How do they treat a locked knee? how does it happen?
Crystal, I can understand why you are frustrated with your dh. 10 bucks a day for lunch is alot of money! That's 50 plus dollars a week! I only spend about 80 bucks on groceries for the week and that includes all 3 meals plus snacks!! Hasn't he ever heard of the dollar menu?? LOL... but honestly.. when money is tight he needs to think better. I hope things get better for you. Maybeyou should go out and spend 10 bucks on yourself everyday and see what he thinks at the end of the week...
Jaymi, I love bathing suit shopping! Maybe you can keep the one that is too small as an incentive to lose more weight? But I guess if it's the boobs that are popping out you should take it back ,lol.. my dh would want me to keep that one! LOL... I have one two piece and it's a tankini... covers my whole stomach, do your wear bikinis?? I wish I could but I never will get to. When I had a nice body I was always too modest to wear them and now I think... if I had that body again I would run through walmart naked! LOL... so ladies who have nice bods enjoy them!! LOL.
Geri, yes I've read about 3 of Dean Koontz novels. I like his writing style. Intensity was really good but Sieze the Night is my favorite so far. What is yours? I liked the 6th sense too, The Village is by that same guy, you may like it.
Ok, I need to get off here now and get around, it's already 9:30! I like to have my shopping done by noon so I don't miss my soaps, lol. Looks like I may have to tape them today, lol. O-well... TTYL!

Penny way to go on being a pound down!!! :bravo: :cheer: Keep it up!!!!
Mindee welcome to the group!! I hope you like it here!!
Mel I hope your DH is okay!!!!! Let us know!! And make sure you get a nap in today!!
Crystal so sorry you had a fight with hubby.
QOTD: I don't really wear much makeup when I'm not working so I would have to say that the one item I couldnt live with out is chapstick.
Leigh Hope all is well with you!! Seems you are keeping busy! Was your Weigh in today? Let us know!!!
Di how are you girly?
Geri I loved chatting with you last night!! I wish you could make it more often :)

Wow!!! You ladies sure do post a lot!!! I think that's great!!! So, let's see, where to start? Ok, QOTD- I don't wear any makeup. In the morning after my shower I put on Olay moisturizer with SPF 30 and that's it. Sometimes I wear make-up when we're going out or something but then I feel like I'm too made-up. My mom never wears make-up so that probably has a lot to do with it. Before I got married I went to a clinique counter for help, to learn how to apply and where to apply. I have some cosmetics but not much. Oh-well!!
Today, for breakfast I had multi-grain cheerios and skim milk and lunch was a veggie burger at Burger King, not very good, but the chicken whoppers were still frozen. I'm not sure what we're having for dinner, probably some doners or maybe a slice of pizza and some salad. I got my exercise in this morning at the gym with the kids and now I'm beat!! Its in the 90s here and Germans don't really believe in A/C, I'm pretty miserable and the kids have been grumpy as well. We have ceiling fans in our house that we installed this year and it makes such a difference. I'm finally getting my IUD in September, its been such a hassle. I'm just rambling, I'll stop now.
Spryng- I've tried both the oreo one and the chips a hoy 100 calories packs and they're both not bad for 2 points. They help with my chocolate fix. And, congrats on your loss!!
Penny- Congrats on your loss as well!! What challenge are you doing?
Mel- the apple and pb actually sound pretty good, maybe my little ones will try it!! Sorry to hear about DH, how's his knee now?
Geri- I love Dean Koontz too. My mom totally got my hooked on him. I haven't read him in such a long time. I see a trip to the library in my future!!
Crystal- sorry to hear about your night. I can empathize (sp?) with you. DD was awake at 1230 and tried to sneak into our bed and then DS was awake at 0430 wanting to do the same thing. We used to be a cosleeping family until about 2 months ago and now they both share a room with their beds touching. Some nights are good but the majority they try to climb into bed with DH and I. DH doesn't even seem to notice!!
Jaymi- I have to do most of my shopping online and I hate when stuff arrives and its too small or something. Then, I have to pay to send it back, its such a pain. And, I hate taking the kids with me to go clothes shopping for myself. I can never fit the stroller and the kids and myself in the dressing room. If I don't strap them in the stroller then they're trying to sneak out. What a pain!!
Well- I hope I didn't miss anyone! Oh-welcome Mindee!! Gotta run, DH is saying that he's starving!!! Is it my fault that he chooses not to eat breakfast and skipped lunch today!! Talk to you all soon!!

Hi Ladies!!
I'm sad that I missed chat last night, but Yoga was a blast and a much needed release!
Spryng congrats on the loss, that's fantastic! Maybe you need to eat more? LOL
Mel, I'm sorry to hear about DH, how is he doing? You definately need to squeeze in a nap, you've been having such a rough time with sleep lately! Try to pamper yourself and take it easy.
Crystal, don't even get me started on husbands and money. I used to be way more laid back in regards to money, then I started taking over the finances. Yikes, we dip into savings like every month and it's because of hubby. He could have cash on him and he will still use that freakin debit card. It's the one thing we tend to fight about on a regular basis. I hope you can work it out in a civilized manner, I wish I could. :)
Mindee welcome to our group, just keep posting and we'll get to know you. This thread moves like crazy most days.
Michelle I'm doing pretty well sweetie, thanks for asking! I've been feeling pretty positive all around and thankful for my beautiful family and all the good things in my life. I wish I could bottle this feeling and open it up when things get tough. But I'm enjoying it now and that's what matters.
Lori, sounds like you are doing a great job with the food, keep up the good work!
Jaymi, I never shop online because sizes never seem to be the same from one brand name to the next. It's really annoying!
I'll check in soon, Jill where are you? You should have posted first! LOL just kidding!
Leigh, I was worried where have you been? What's more important than checking in with us? LOL
QOTD (question of the day, Spryng! :) ) I usually wear base, mascara and tinted lip gloss. i look like a straight out clown if I wear normal lipstick, it's hideous I swear!
OK, gotta jet, the boys are restless and I need JAVA!
hugs,
Di

Mel~ Thanks for the welcome! I am sure that I will be flip flopping between this page and the first one so I can read who is who.
Penny~ Thanks for the welcome! I already do love it here!
Spryng~ I love your name as well. Thanks for the welcome! Congrats on your hitting your goal weight!!
Michelle~ thanks for the welcome! I do like it here!
QOTD~ I don’t wear any make up! I didn’t even wear any the day I got married. My hubby told me that I looked beautiful without it, and that I didn’t need to wear any. I have on occasion though worn some to other weddings and parties.
Lori~ My cousin and her hubby live in Germany. And my hubby’s cousin and his wife lived there, I don’t know if they still do because he is in the armed forces. Thanks for the welcome!
Di~ thanks for the welcome!

This is quick, my @!#$%^#@! computer is really buggin out on me. Welcome Mindee. QOTD: I usually don't wear makeup, so I don't know what my can't live without things are. But, make up is a requirement for school, so I will find out shortly. Anyway, I am off of here, and will definately be hooking up my webtv later. Have a great day all.

Oh Geez where do I start! Ok my daughter was only up once last night at 4:30 so that was not too bad but I wish she would go back to how she used to be! Anyway I had so much fun chatting with you all last night, I wish everyone from the thread could chat at once, that would be fun. Well I am going to weigh after I post this and then I need to get my menu for the day together. I was pretty on plan yesterday and had a really good dinner and just a tiny snack afterward so we'll see if I lose any. I have to work again today from 3-6 but other than that I really don't have anything planned today. What is everyone else doing today?
Di I'm glad you got to do your yoga today, I know I always feel better when I exercise. I know I should have been first today, I should have just posted when my dd woke me up and I would have been!!
Lori I was reading your post and wondering where the heck you lived that you had already had lunch and then I realized you were in Germany! I forgot about that. Good job staying on plan and try to stay cool, I am way grumpy when I get hot. I hate it!
Michelle, how many days a week do you work? Just wondering. I'm glad you wont be at chat tonight cause now we can talk about you! J/K have a great day! Have fun planning your snip party.
Spryng!!! Congrats on losing weight even after your week of bad eating! That is so cool! You should definitley treat yourself to something today. Good Job!! What soaps do you watch? We just recently got rid of our satellite dish and now we have 2 channels so I have been trying to catch up on Y&R but can't seem to because it's been 9 months since I have watched it!
Hi Penny! What do you have going on today? More scrab booking on the puter? I bet! Have a good day.
Mel Sorry about your DH I hope his knee gets better. I hope you get a nap in too! There is nothing worse than wandering around dead tired during the day. I can't do anything when I'm tired. Sneak a nap in when your kids are sleeping.
Jaymi sorry about the bathing suit thing. I have found that I do the same thing now that I have a kid because I don't usually have a lot of time to try things on or want to with her with me so I just buy it and then try it on. It usually doesnt fit so I spend the next 2 weeks trying to find time to take it back! I used to sell stuff on e-bay a lot. I would find name brand clothes on clearance and then sell them for sometimes double or triple what I paid for them! People have caught on though and clothes do not sell nearly as well as they used to so I don't do it anymore. Don't hate me but it's tax free everyday here so you could really go nuts! So at the dollar tree everything really is a dollar!
Crytal I know your pain about the debit card! My hubby uses it every once in awhile but it's usually right before he gets paid so we are tapped out and then he'll buy something big and bounce the checkbook, I always yell at him and say if you needed to buy that just let me know so I can transfer money or wait till you get paid! He doesn't get it though, soooooooooooo annoying. I make him pack his lunches most days cause it is way to spendy to eat out all the time, plus really not healthy. I just get him these microwave meals that are like $1 he really likes them so it doesnt cost very much, he takes some chips and a drink with him too but those are pretty cheap. Anyway just an idea.
Hi Mindee! Great to have someone else. I'm Jill and I just started here a couple weeks ago and I am really addicted! These are some great ladies! Congrats on your baby! Isn't it the best thing ever?! WELCOME!
HI Leigh what are you up to today? And what did you do yesterday?!
Ok baby is up and I need to get off this thing. Have a great day everyone! TTYL
Oh ya, I'm a makeup fanatic and I will not leave the house unless I have mascara, some kind of foundation and mascara. It's just not an option! I look like a freak without it!

Di I want to give you a little tidbit to think about. Just think of this....Even if there were something "wrong" with either of your boys......would that make them any less special? any less loved? any less of a person? any less intelligent? The answer to all these questions is NO!!! There are lots of "challenged" people who are extremely intelligent and their quality of life is just as yours or mine is :) I only say these things because although I know that you are having a hard time right now, I think that it is important to remember that there are still your children, still loved, still special. Just remember that when things get hard. And know that I am thinking of you and sending lots of prayers and love your way! :grouphug:
ok I think my weigh in will be good this week lets hope cuz last week sucked!! I was at 222.5 last week....but I'm not yet telling what I was at today, don't wanna jinx it ;)
Jilly you guys can talk about me all you want!!! Just tell me all the juicy details!!!
Ok I'm off to shower and head to walmart. I hope you are all havign a great day!

Oh boy everyone. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers about Dh. He says he's fine today. I haven't been able to nap, Bcause only Bugga napped. less than 3 hours ...I'm running on empty. I did take abigail to a garage/yard sale and she got two little pocket books for playing dress up for a $1.00. One was a DKNY.
Jill, Penny and Spryng. Congrats on those lbs Lost!!! :cb:  :cp:
Di. I agree with what Michelle said. Focas on the positive. They are the same two beautiful little boys they were before all the talk. Glad you destressed a bit with Yoga.
Spryng. My Dh was sitting with his knee/leg bent back. He just couldn't get up. Dr. said the cartiladge wraps around the knee cap. They had to pull and stretch and bend his knee. It was exscutiating for him. He was shaking like crazy. Giving me the chills just picturing it again. woooh
Oh yeh, Michelle. what size are your girls feet? clothes? I have a couple things you might be able to use next year. LMK

QOTD- I barely ever wear make-up… and all I ever wear is eye-shadow, lipstick, and eyeliner.. So since that’s all I got.. That’s all I have to have!! I guess I could live without it all…. Doesn’t matter too much to me.. UMMM is deodorant make-up! Because that’s the only thing I can’t live without!
BTW… how many different items can you possibly have anyway!!
:flow1: Welcome Mindee!! Good luck, we are glad to have you here!!
:flow1: Penny~ Congrats on your 1 lb!!! :cb: I wish it was me!!! Keep up the good work!
:flow1: Spryng- You are hilarious!!! GREAT JOB on your loss!! :cp: I cant’ emphasize enough how too small the boob part was for that swimsuit! I don’t think I would lose that much boob even at my goal weight!! No.. I wear a two piece with the bikini top… but I wear the boy shorts at the bottom. I would probably wear a bikini “when” I get rid of this cellulite!
:flow1: Lori~ When did you sneak in!! A lot of times… when I order something.. Like off of ebay… and it’s too small… I just keep it and hang it up for later!
:flow1: Jill… good job on your loss! :cheer: Everyone here is losing… that is so great! Where do you live again… remind me not to move there!
:flow1: Diane~ did you get your Java! Hope you have a good day!
Everyone else…..I’m running out of time! Gotta go.. Will talk with you all later!

Well it really helped me to stay on track yesterday when I posted what I was going to eat for the day. This morning I had a Morning Start Bar that I got from Wal-Mart. It's Atkins approved and even though I am not doing Atkins it was balanced and looked good so I bought a few. Not too bad, no sugar so it tasted a little bit artificial but ok. For lunch I think I am going to have a turkey sandwich on WW and a yogurt. For dinner I haven't really decided but I have some meat I can thaw out so I will go from there. I'll think about it and post later. Well I need to get my shower while the baby is napping so talk to you guys later!

Ok I'm back!! From shopping, did you miss me?! LOL... what you don't spend every minute waiting for my next post?? Hmmm.... something to ponder later, lol.
Well grocery shopping went find. I also found a treat!! Weight Watchers now makes little cakes and muffins and such, like little debbie!! I bought the chocolate cake ones and they are only 1 pt each!!! I figure that will be a great after dinner dessert. I bought that new foundation too... I hope it's as good as they say.
Oh, Jaymi, there are lots of makeup stuff you can have... foundation... powder.. blush... eyeliner... mascara.. eyeshadow... don't forget to curl those eyelashes... lip liner.. lipstick... lip gloss.. concealer... etc... there are so many fun things to play with! I get so jealous of people who don't need foundation or powder, mu cousin has nice skin and never wears makeup, but not me, I need something to even out my skin tone, but of course this year since I tanned it is much easier to cover and doesn't take as much. So how is your day going? You sound cheery!
Mel, so glad your dh is feeing better. I'm sure he is resting and your not, right? Maybe you can get in bed early tonight. And that does sound so painful how they had to fix his knee... ouch! I would have required morphine to even think about it, lol.
Michelle, stop teasing us with your WI!! LOL.. I can't wait to see the numbers! You cracked me up when you said if I would have been OP I could have been 120, LOL... thanks for rubbing it in!! LOL. I thought about that too, lol. But I like to sabbotage myself, lol. What is the fun in getting to my goal weight, lol... then I'll have nothing to talk about each week!
Jill congrats on the loss!! That is great! What plan are you on again? I forget too easily anymore. I watch ABC soaps... all my children and General hospital are my favs... used to love one life to live but the story lines are lame right now on there. So I usually skip it. yeah when I had direct tv I never watched soaps anymore either... I have regular cable now but still watch them. Just one of my little sinful luxuries... lol. And it was so nice getting to chat with you last night! We have more in common than I thought! You can really get to know people better in the chat room, don't you agree? ;)
Ricci, hi! Sorry about your computer problems. Mine is on it's last leg too. i don't think it will hold on much longer... I'm sure the internet will be next to screw up.. all my other programs have problems now. And the net runs super slow these days... only a matter of time. Bring yours over and we'll have a bonfire!! But at least you have webtv as a back up!
Mindee... hello again! so glad you are feeling at home here! If you ever want to see pics of some of us you can go to this site http://groups.msn.com/MomslosingWeight and check us out, we'd love to see what you look like too! Also we chat at that site every now and then at night so bookmark it so you can join us ok?
Di, I knew QOTD meant that, lol... crystal writes QOFD... I didn't know what that meant, lol. But maybe it was just a typo. And I'm not sure about needing to eat more.. I mean I ate ALOT!! lol. But maybe I did get some exercise in? Have you ever been to a truck stop? It's a hike to get to the building and then we walked for hours at the beach that day so maybe I didn't do as bad as I thought, lol. Obviously something worked.
Lori, what IUD are you getting? I have Mirena... I like it so far except for the cysts I get every now and then. But not having to worry about pregnancy is fantastic! Why has it been a hassle to get it? So have you lived in Germany your whole life?
Well, guess I should see if Tanner is ready for his nap. Dinner tonight will be pizza... (flexpoints) lunch was McD's... their fries were gross today though. What a waste of pts (of course I still ate them all, lol)
For those of you sharing you menu today... how is it going and what are you having??
TTYL!

Hello everyone. Hope your days are going well. I just got done with lunch and didn't go off plan! Yeah!!
Spryng I'm not on a plan per say cause I am still nursing my daughter so I can't restrict too many calories. I am just trying to cut out the junk food cause I know that wont hurt either of us LOL! I'm going to work really hard next week on just getting my eating plan down, then I will try and get the exercise going strong. I plan everything all at once or I will get overwhelmed and just quit. It was so fun getting to chat with you last night, I really do think we have a lot in common aside from the fact that you had 3 kids before I had 1!! You really can get to know a person just from those chats. I look forward to getting to know you more in the future!
Well I bought a scale last night and it is a denise austin one! I thought that was kind of funny but it came with a CD program that is fitness related so I think I will load it later and check it out. I'll let you all know what it is all about! Ok need to go feed the baby! TTYL

LOL Spryng, really I don't think you are an idiot! ;) Menu today is B: Cereal w/FF milk and JAVA. Yum. L: Lean Cuisine Thai Chicken and D: Chicken soft tacos and salad. You are probably right about all the walking you did, lots of points added for that. I'm glad you did so well, it gives us all hope! What new foundation did you buy? I haven't seen the little snack cakes yet, but I did purchase some ice cream in a cone. 2 points each is doable.
Jill congrats on your loss as well! What a fantastic job you are doing. I'm not addicted to any soaps, I'm afraid to watch for fear of getting sucked into them. I'm trying to read more, so if I have spare time that's what I do. "if" being the operative word!
Michelle and Mel, you are absolutely right, of course it doesn't matter what's going on with them, because they are fantastic little guys and they are truly the light of my life. I just want to make sure they get every oportunity to make the most out of their life. They are so sweet. I posted some pictures of them on the MSN website, just a few, but it's been a while since I've posted pics so I thought I'd share.
Gotsta go eat lunch and I'll pop in again soon.
Hi to everyone i didn't get personal with, hugs to you all,

Spryng- My IUD drama started over a year ago, not long after DS was born. My husband is not in the army but his job involves supporting the army and working closely with them. Because of this we are allowed to use all Military facilities while we are in Germany including the hospitals and clinics. So, anyway, at my 6 week check up after DS was born I ordered a Mirena and was told that I would get a call when it came in and we would then make an appointment for insertion. Well, a couple months passed and no call and then DH went to Iraq so it wasn't really a top priority anymore. More months pass and I finally give them a call and there's still no IUD. DH is due to come home in February so I call again and this time they tell me that the Dr that inserts the IUD also has to give me a consultation. So, I finally get the consultation but since its been over a year since my last pap I have to get another one before my insertion. Now its April and I get my pap. I call back to get an appointment for my insertion and I'm told that the next available apointment is May 14th, the funny thing is that we're flying to the states on that day so I'm forced to wait until I return to make an appointment because they can't make an appointment more than a month out. We get back to Germany and the Dr who is supposed to give me my IUD is away for a few weeks and I'm told to call back at the end of June, when he should be back. I call back at the end of June and now he's gone, he's no longer stationed in Germany. AAARGG!!! It was one thing after another. I call the ob/gyn office again and they say I have to talk to the head nurse but she is on vacation. So, finally, today I go there and the head nurse has returned from her vacation. She looks at my file and asks me why didn't I just get the IUD when I had my pap? I tell her that everyone in her office told me that the person who gives the consultation has to be the person that does the insertion and she says that's not true, you now have an appointment on Sept 2. It was such a run around!!! And such a pain.
Sorry for the long explanation!! We have lived here for almost 2 years. I actually grew up in NY and went to college there and left when I joined the army. I met my husband in Texas, he was also in the army, and lived there for 5 years before moving here. Have to let the dogs out, be back later!!

Lori, what a freakin nightmare about the doctor! I tend to get the run around on many things here in the states as well. Annoying isn't it?
So what's the Labor Day challenge? I need a kick in the butt to lose more weight.

P.S. Spryng those Smart One's ice creams are the BOMB, snuck one in at lunch, very yummy.

Hey Ladies~
I'm going to post and then go back and read the thread (yall are on FIRE today). I hope yall are having a good day. Mine has been crazy and my eating has reflected that. Just keeping honest. But I still plan to exercise tonight and will get some water in. I need to do more journaling...that always helps me as far as emotional eating. Ok. Now I'm off to read about yalls days. I'll get personal in a later post.

Hello again!
Just a quick post from me... I'm fixing to take Tanner outside the play. The other two go out whenever they want (the yard is fenced in) but I still have to watch Tanner because he climbs and eats everything, lol.
Dinner was good... good ole frozen pizza. LOL.. actually I love frozen pizza. make some cookies for dessert. They were good too... boy I love flexpoints! LOL. I did get some crocheting in at nap time.. I couldn't sleep DARN COLD!! Got a cough now... so annoying.
Anyway...
Cheri, tell us all about your crazy day! We are here for you!
Di, thanks for letting me know about those icecreams... are they chocolate?? Sounds yummy! And I want to know about the labor day challenge too... I need to get my butt in gear and exercise!!! maybe tonight. I bought that new Mabelleine Mousse matte foundation? I saw it on a commercial for the first time last night. It comes in a little glass jar and looks like frosting! LOL.. I was so intrigued when I got it home I unscrewed the lid and smelled it hoping it would smell that mocha or something, lol... but it smelled like makeup, LOL. Darn!! LOL. I'll put some on tomorrow and tell you how it is.
Lori, that really is crazy about your IUD. I hope that when you finally get it you have no problems with it because all that drama and then it doesn't work out for you would be terrible! I love mine but I know women who hate theirs and have them removed weeks or months later. unless my cysts get worse I'll have mine until 2008 or something like that.
Jill what kind of exercise do you do? I have several dvd's... The Firm... a bootcamp workout one (its neat) denise austin.. I really don't like aerobic ones though... makes me sweat! LOL.. I do have a pilates one I like but my cousin has it at the moment. I should go get it back. Don't worry about me having 3 kids before you had your first, lol... I like to do everything fast!! LOL. Plus I was married just 2 months after turning 18 and got pregnant on our first anniversary (nice gift eh?) lol... so we started our family quickly. I just figured if I had them young by the time they were grown I'd still be young enough to do things with them, you know? I've seen those denise austin scales! Let me know what that cd is about, sounds cool.
Ok, gotta get these kids outside... they have WAY too much energy today for some reason, lol. Couldn't be the cookies could it?? NAH!! lol TTYL!

Spryng--Thanks for asking...it's just mostly the kids being wild. In general my kids are well behaved. I mean they are kids, and they are all boy. But they are good kids. But usually about once a month...and it tends to coinside with my PMS they get silly. Basically they have been constantly bickering and picking at each other. Nathan has been mouthy and argumenative, Daniel has decided that he doesn't want to get up, doesn't want to get dressed, doesn't want to eat, doesn't want to take a nap, doesn't want to shower, doesn't want to put on pj's doesn't want to go to bed. Basically, he doesn't want to do anything, except the opposite of what I say. And Elijah, well he is heading into the terrible twos with abandon. Has decided that he will say no. No. NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO all.the.time. Oh and he does the cute little fits complete with laying on the floor and kicking his feet. Now see, any one of these things alone from the boys is ok...but when they all decide to triple team me it gets me CRAZY. LOL So we've had lots of redirection, time outs, loss of prelidges etc etc etc around here. But the fact is I can't allow others behavior to determine my eating. KWIM?
Anyway, we had Papa Johns for supper and are making cookies before Tiger Cruise comes on Disney tonight. Then I'll do pilates once they are in bed. Tomorrow is a brand new day...with no mistakes in it (in the voice of Anne of Green Gables)
Now lets see if I can wrap up a few QOTD's from memory. My heritage--I want to day dutch and irish. My hubby is danish and has his family tree traced back to before they ever came via Ellis Island. My favorite movie--this is hard, I love old black and white movies. I also enjoy chick flicks. I could watch Dirty Dancing over and over, Kate and Leopold, Gone with the Wind, Sleepless in Seattle. Lately they've been showing Maid in Manhattan on Encore (over and over lol) and I've caught it a few times. Make Up--oh man I LOVE LOVE LOVE make up. I don't wear it everyday. But my must have item is Mascara. I used to be one that wouldn't leave the house without make up...but having three kids in 4 years and wanting to get our the door before someone puked on their clothes remedied that. LOL
Welcome to the group Mindee...I'm sure you'll love it here, this is a fabulous group. :)

Good evening all!
I can't believe there wasn't dozens of posts since my last one.. did everyone find something to do this evening? LOL...
My evening went great. Took the kids outside and we played tag and races... I even tried teaching my dd how to do a cart wheel... LOL.. ok don't picture that, lol. Actually I did them just fine but I think I pulled something in my back, lol... I'm so out of shape! But we had lots of fun. Then we found a 7 year locust!! Has anyone see those beetles that crawl up a tree and split itself open and a fly like creature imerges?? They make all those buzzing noises in the summer in your trees. Anyway, they live underground for 7 years, come out, hatch mate and die. Well I've seen the carcass of them on many trees and even caught the winged one after it's been hatched but never saw one hatch. Well we caught the locust tonight, I put it in a glass jar and within 20 min it was hatching!! SO neat! (I'm a nature freak) After it comes out it's white... very pretty... I let it dry and all that then took it outside to let it go... they don't live very long. But the kids thought it was neat and so did I. Very cool. But I am that kind of person... when i was young I would stomp around in mud holes for tadpoles and crawdeds and keep them as pets, I caught snakes and lizards and just loved it. I would rather be outside than anywhere else.. well some things change but you really can't take the country out of this ole girl, lol. I just love it.
So after the nature exhibit (lol) we watched Hook. The kids haven't seen it and it's a good movie. My two oldest watched every second of it. Cute movie.
And that is my evening, lol. Now I am tired, trying to get rid of this cough before getting in bed. I took some cough stuff but it's not working yet.
Cheri, I know what you mean about having kids that want to do their own thing. My kids are pretty good too. Bubba though, my 3 yo, he's my stubborn one. If anyone gives me trouble it's him. But it comes and goes.. somedays he's an angel and others I want to lock him in his room and never let him out, lol. But I've learned what triggers his disruptive side and can avoid it sometimes. I hope yours get better soon. It really is draining.
Well, guess I will surf the net for a while. TTYL!

Hey Guys! I was glad to see the thread wasn't out of control when I got home from work! Everyone must have found something better to do LOL!
Spryng I go the gym and do cardio and weights usually. I am going to start going next week cause my mom's Dr. told her she HAS to work out 5 days a week cause along with some hormonal problems that she is finally getting solved she also has inflamed arteries and that is just asking for a heart attack or stroke! Having to keep tabs on her exercise will make me go too, so I guess that is good. Bayley does well in the day care there so I am not worried about that. I try to take a walk with Bayley during the day too, if it's not too hot. I have a couple of the Denise Austin tapes, they are pretty good. Do you do them everyday?
Kristin, sorry I missed you! I just popped in the chat room and then went and ate dinner so I wasn't there when you came in. Sorry! :)
Well I will check in a little later to see if people are chatting, I was a semi bad girl tonight and had Taco Bell for dinner. I had chicken thawed but was in a bad mood and didn't want to cook so I made my hubby go to Taco Bell. I only had 2 chicken soft tacos and a small nacho but still not the best choice. Oh well I will be shopping tomorrow and will get a lot of good stuff to have around here to make dinner with so I won't be tempted to be bad. I'm going to try that recipe that Spryng posted, the green chile chicken thing. Sounds good! Ok have a great night guys!

I see that there was a QOTD about heritage. Well I am half German and half Irish. My hubby is Irish, German and Blackfoot Indian.
