Nona, Debbie & I. Good Luck to you girls tomorrow! Glad you are feeling better ROSE :) Hang in there everyone. We don't want anyone to be a WEAK LINK  Interesting article in Weight Watcher magazine this month on walking. I really like the magazine....so interesting. Later all....

Hi All!

Nona & Judy good luck at your weigh ins tomorow. I have my fingers, toes & everything else crossed that I will see a loss tomorrow. I hope so. I have been trying to be good with my points (alternating from low to high to mid). I have been trying to do my tape since I got my VCR. Today I skipped it because I have a bad headache thanks to the squealing & screaming the little ones have done this afternoon & evening..UGH! I'll check in again tomorrow morning to let you all know how I did.

Nascar hope you feel better. Post when you can. We will still be here waiting for you :)

Hope everyone has a good night..

See ya!

Good Morning

I weighed in and lost 1.5 lbs. Woohoo! I think I may have finally broken this plateau. This is the first big loss I have had since before January 2001. I feel really good today. Now to try to run with this new motivation and have a repeat next week. I noticed I didn't snack as much this week & kept to what I had planned in my journal. I didn't do the tape last night but I did manage to squeak in 3miles so that was good :)

Nona, Judy how did your weigh ins go???

Nascar & Rose, hope you are both feeling better.

Hope you all have a good day!!

Talk to you later

~Debbie~ A big congrats for the weight loss....mine did not go so good +.4... I knew some of that fat would be hiding trying to get back on  Will just have to hope for better next week....At least I do feel like I am making progress too! Down 7 lbs. since January, so I will just keep on....Wasn't real faithful with my journal this week and those darn jelly beans may be the culprit  (I bought my hubby jelly beans for Easter) At least it wasn't chocolate. It is a beautiful day so I walked to my meeting. It is 6 miles round trip, so that was good.
Have a great day!

Judy I'm sure you will lose that 0.4 lb plus some next week. I know what you mean about the candy. I was really good about trying not to eat too much of it this week. On Tuesday I did have a bag of M&M's but I was at my low range so I still was able to do good that day. I hid the rest out of sight

Wow, 6miles that is fabulous!!! Good for you!!!

Have a good one everyone!

I did it. I lost 1.6lbs. I am sooo happy! I stuck to my new journal and feel real good about this. I hope I can do it again... I had my WW Leader actually write my loss/weight in both my new journal and weekly "weigh-in" recorder. Getting closer to my goal - AGAIN! ha!

Debbie ~ Many congrat's on your loss - WOO-HOO!:D I hope this is the end of your plateaus.

Judy ~ Sorry to hear about that small gain, but Debs right. I'm sure you'll lose it next week - especially w/all that walking!! 7lbs down since January is GREAT! Keep up the great work. I had lots of jelly beans on Monday... sent the rest of the bag to work w/my DH! lol!

Rose, Nascar ~ Where are you 2 today? Hope all is well and you will be checking in w/us soon....

Nona, Congrats on your 1.6 lb loss...that is GREAT!!!! woohooo!! Do you use the new 12wk journal? I picked up 2 this past Saturday (one for me & one for DH) & I love it..It's so easy to look back on previous days and so convenient.

Thanks, I hope the plateau is history for me now :D I am on a mission now  I want to lose these last 12.5 lbs so that I can hopefully get into a tankini this summer :) The past 2 summers I have steered clear of bathing suits. This summer is going to be different!!

Hope you are all having a great day :)

I'm here! I think I'm the "Weakest Link" these days ;)! Although, if laughing at that show burns calories, I burned a ton last night. My foot is getting progressively worse, which you can imagine isn't helping my work out.

Wow! That call I was waiting for just came while I was typing this. My stress level is now completely through the roof.

Rose ~ find a way to get in touch with me!

Girls ~ great losses. Way to go. Hopefully someday I'll be able to get back on WW and join you all in the loss department.

Judy ~ it's muscle. Don't worry about it. You are doing so well exercising I'm positive it is muscle. Don't get discourage, just keep up the good work.

Okay ~ I'm lurking around today. Keep me in your thoughts, I really need some mega positive vibes. Sorry to be criptic, but it's necessary at this time.

Hi Everyone!

I'm learning my new job today so I haven't had time to post until now. I'm back at my old desk so here I am for a short post.

NASCAR Woman-Which email should I use? I'm not sure. I responded to your regular one because the last message you sent to me was from that one. Let me know!:)

Debbie-I wish I only had 12.5 pounds to go:)! Great job. I'm sure you'll look great in your swimsuit this year. That's one of my goals to actually be able to wear a swimsuit again without a massive cover up !

Nona-Great job on the weight loss:)! You should be proud. Hey were are you buying your journels? Are they from WW? I think that's a great way to help stay on track. Keep it up you're doing great!

Judy-I'm with the rest that I'm sure it's muscle:)! You are doing so great. Seven pounds since January is awesome! You should give yourself more credit. I need to get back to doing some exercise. I've just been so busy/lazy lately. :nono: Hopefully tonight I'll get on my Orbitrek.

I have to get to work. I'm sorry I missed some of you. I will try to post some tonight. Thanks for being here and being so supportive:)!

Thanks everyone for the inspiration and words of encouragement...You are all great....Good Luck Nascar...hope things turn around for you soon...Time for bed so I can get to the gym tomorrow  It is funny how all my plans are around my exercise program now  Hopefully it will pay off...Night all....

Good Morning everyone:wave:!

Well I didn't get on the Orbitrek like I planned. In fact I didn't make it home until 7:30 last night with working OT at work and then my son's track meet. By the time I got the place organized and did dishes it was time for bed:mad:! I guess I need to set that alarm a little earlier in the morning but I doubt if I can get up much earlier then 5 so I'm doubtful that I will be getting up at 4:30 to exercise. Oh well there is always tonight!

Judy-You are doing a great job:). I agree that this place is full of inspiration and really keeps me going. I depend on all of your posts to keep me on track and help me stay motivated. Thanks for being here:)!

NASCAR Woman-I tried emailing you last night while I was at work but you must have gotten out early. I hope you had a stress free evening! Something tells me you didn't:(! Post when you can.

Nona-You are doing a super job! I'm a little envious but maybe that's what I need to get off this big butt of mine:eek:! Keep up the great exercise.

Debbie-You are doing so great losing that weight! It's always nice to see those numbers on the scale go down:)! Great job and thanks for the motivation!

Where are all the rest of you? We haven't seen any posts from you for a while now? Pogo, emmy, wwgal and phillym, please post when you can we want to know how you're doing:)! wwgal I posted another response to your power 90 question. I hope you'll still post here too:)!

Okay off to work. I've got a ton of it. Have a great Friday everyone and a nice long weekend.

I know you are all out exercising so you can't get on the computer  I did water aerobics this morn and took a long walk on the beach. We have water aerobics at our pool everyday but my schedule with the gym just doesn't work out so I can do them all the time, although I really enjoy them and you don't have to sweat  Beachwalking was really hard today...the sand was too soft and I felt like I was walking through high snow  glad I don't have to do that...Hope you all are enjoying the weekend...Have a good one....

Hi Everyone!

Just popping in quick to say hello :) MIL got in on Saturday so we have been playing catch up. I have been getting my walking in. On Friday I walked 6.36 miles, I walked 5 miles yesterday & today I did 3.5 miles. Tomorrow I plan on doing my tape again. I haven't the last 3 days with getting ready for MIL's arrival but now it's time to get back to the routine.

ncmom-- I don't have the 4mile power walk tape. I do have the 2 mile walk & love it & I just got the Power Walk- 3 miles tape. I haven't done it yet but it looks like a good workout & she really works out the arms.

Good night...talk to you all soon

Good Morning everyone,

Well it was a long weekend! I did manage some time on my Orbitrek this weekend and I did some of my toning exercises I got from beachbody.com. It's the Thin Thighs and Great Arms workouts. The arm video is really good. You can use free weights or isometrics. I use an exer band and I sure can feel it today.!

Judy and Debbie-Awesome job on the walking:D! That's probably more then I walk all week:dizzy:! That's really great to get that much exercise in. You both must feel so good! I'm a little jealous. I guess I better get off my butt and start moving more. I don't want to get too far behind! Judy it does get a little slow on here over the weekends. I very seldom get time to post but I'll make it more of an effort just to keep you company:)! Keep up the great exercise!

ncmom-I have Leslie's 4 mile walk and it's awesome but to be honest I never could finish it. I'm more of an elliptical machine kind of gal. It is definitely a great workout and it is worth checking into:)! Please join us here and post. We'd love to have you here:)! There are a great bunch of gals that post here.

Okay everybody else post to let us know what's been going on. I have to get to work now but I hope you all have a great day:)!

I feel like I was lazy today...I had some inside work I needed to catch up so I didn't walk or go to the gym....I am trying to keep everything done so it won't be there to do when I get ready to go home...which isn't far off...1 week from Thursday. I will be hitting the exercise trail tomorrow though :) It makes you feel guilty when you let one day slip by without any.. I never thought I would ever feel that way...I know how tough it must be for you gals that work...Have a good evening all.

Good Morning everyone!

I'm happy to report that I did 20 minutes on my Orbitrek last night. The first 10 was a piece of cake but the last 10 got harder and harder. I think I'll do 20 for the rest of this week and then build up to thirty gradually. It sure did feel good after I was done though:)!

Judy-I know how you feel. I've been struggling with working exercise into my schedule. I work full time and then I have a son (I'm a single parent) that is in sports and requires allot of my time too. I do know I feel so much better when I exercise regularly. So I'm trying this week to do some exercise everyday! You do a great job with your exercise though. You're very motivating:)! Good luck today.

Okay it's kind of quiet in here. Where did you all go? Please post when you can and let us know what's going on. Even if you didn't exercise post anyway. We can help each other keep motivated. Have a great day.

Hi Everyone!!

Wow! Everyone seems to be doing great!! I did my 2mile walk tape today & it felt great!! I really love that tape :) I have been getting in a ton of miles since my MIL has been here. I have walked an average of 5-6miles a day!! I've been getting in about 20,000 steps a day which is double what I strive for. WOOHOOO!!!

Hope everyone has a great night...I'll check in when I can tomorrow...

Have a good one!

Hi Everyone,

I have a few minutes and decided I should do a quick post! It's been so busy at work I haven't had time to do too much in the way of posting. Hopefully things will slow down a little.:)

Debbie-WOW on all those miles:)! You are really getting in some great exercise. I guess I should get a MIL so I can get exercising! I didn't get home until late again last night and ended up not doing a darn thing. But tonight will be a different story. Plus it's been hot here so that hasn't helped. I'm glad you are enjoying your MIL's visit and doing so great in the exercise department:).

ncmom-Good job on doing the Leslie tape:)! I know the feeling about the eating. If I could control that things would be allot easier. I'm really bad in that area too. But just keep exercising and the rest will fall into place. You are doing great!

Nona-Great to hear from you:)! Great job on the exercise! How was the concert by the way? I know how you feel about the busy part. There just isn't enough hours in the days sometimes is there? Well I'm determined to make some time tonight. I have to! Keep up the great work and post when you can!

Okay it's back to work I go. I know we are missing some exercisers on this thread! I hope you can find time to post:)! We miss you all.

The schools concert was great. My kindergartner and 3rd grader were soooo cute;)

Getting lots of housework & yardwork in today. Tomorrow is my WW meeting. Wasn't on my best behavior this week - but not toooo terrible either. yeah, right! LOL

Who else weighs in on Thursdays? I think its Debbie and Judy...??? ;) good luck to us all!

nc mom - if your having a hard time with night time snacking try "closing-up" your kitchen at a certain time every night. Pour yourself a large ice water before closing up and then stay out till you "re-open" in the morning. :) I do this at night for my family since my oldest son is ALWAYS hungry & wants to snack before bedtime - I give my family a 10-15minute warning, then close up at 7:30. It usually works - ha!

Have a super day everyone.

He is definately a snacker! Good for you Rose to try to fit in time for exercise..I know it must be really hard when you are gone working all day...been there, done that! You just want to sit on your butt when you get home sometimes  Time to think about dinner I guess...Later all

Congrats Judy!! Great weigh in :) I on the other hand didn't do so well. I gained 1 lb. Must have been the sodium I had the other day in the Chinese food. Kind of ticks me off because I was so good this week with my food & walking. Now to make sure next week is better. Oh well.... Congrats to you again. Keep up the great work!!! Hey gals - I gained 1.2 this week. To much eating out this week I suppose. Time to drink more water & get out the Tae-Bo tapes. It's just getting to warm to walk the past few days now that we made 100+ degrees here in Mesa.

Judy, many congrats on your loss:D Debbie and I will be there right with you next week! Good job!

Debbie, I'm sure your right about the salt. Keep drinking that water and walking..... we'll get there!

Good job everyone - see you all tomorrow!!
