Hi gals quick drop ih to say hi! Busy day - we all (dh, dd, and myself) slept for like 4 hours this afternoon, after a night with barely any sleep it was nice! a coupe of you asked about Kasey (the german shepard) she is only 4 years old, apparently the arthritis is hereditary..who knows, she is resting alot and still has diahrea but is less frequent, and she has new meds I picked up for her......zantec 75 - CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? she is on human indigestion medicine! haha! I thought that was funny, but it seems to help! :)
Michelle - I laughed so hard when I was picturing you telling Tay that and getting slapped....I do stuff like that some times to antagonize sydney..i know, bad mom...haha, but they are so cute when they are mad :)
I'll give my bio stuff, however, no time to post to the rest of you :( I sorry! Crystal, Boing-boing, Cindi, Angel, Leigh, Geri, Di, Penny, ya know i love ya! :)
BTW - Penny, I think that is a cool idea count me in...here is my "info":
Sydsmom/Kristin - SAHM to Sydney 09-27-01, married almost 2 years to wonderful dh :) Just began Weight watchers in mid-July.

The boys are upstairs with Donald and I'm finishing up cleaning the kitchen and doing a couple of loads of laundry, so naturally I needed a break and thought I'd check in on yall.
I was inspired  by you gals serving Hamburger Helper and pulled out our emergency box (I keep a couple of boxes for quick meals and such) and cooked that for Donald and the boys with english peas and garlic bread. I just browned a little more extra lean ground beef and made me a taco salad.
We ended up not going to the beach...it's was 101 today and I just could muster up the courage to slather everyone down so we could go literally bake. We ended up doing a little running around and I'm not sure what was going on but the kids each had a moment where I wanted to look around and ask ''Has anyone seen these children's mom, they seem to be misplaced'' We are home now and their filled up with supper. So I think I'll put them down a bit early tonight. I may even do something crazy like go to Target by myself. :yikes:
Ok. I'm off for a bit. I'll check back in. Spryng I hope you have a great weekend with the hubby. ;)
OH and my bio thingy. :)
Cheri, married to Donald for 8.5 years, stay at home/homeschooling momma to Nathan, 5 (9-11-98), Daniel, 3 (8-29-00) & Elijah, 1 (10-16-02) & doing the low carb thing /kinda, lol/

Yesterday was fun.. my hubby tells me I'm getting too dark! Now whadya think about that!?! I finally found the library, but I have yet to read a book! I can't wait... I haven’t read in a long time! Anyways I need to join in the challenge.. I have been doing HORRIBLE!! I drank 2 real sodas, ate a burger, and two fries, and some skittles! I did exercise for an hour today, but I need to exercise again!!! I bought some sugar free chocolate so that maybe will help with my cravings... I am sooo tired! I have so much to do. I need to finish washing clothes, folding them and etc. I need to wash dishes , take a shower, bathe the kids, clean the living room... etc. I've cleaned up earlier.... but hey it doesn’t stay that way!
I know I missed everyone… …. Sorry!!!!! Penny, I take the whole thing! Darn..it sounds like I have a bad day everyday! I'm gonna get better.. tomorrow! I think I need to get this fast food thing out of my head… that was my downfall in the first place. I can do it! I have to achieve my goal.. And that is to be healthy… I won’t be like I am doing now. I have stopped journaling and counting and everything! I’m being awful!! Tonight (not tomorrow) I’m going to start at least getting my journaling back on track! Well time has run out! I'm sorry I couldn’t leave comments for everyone! Will talk with everyone later!

Good evening,
It's so quiet here...my fav time of the day :o :D .
My Bio...
Chubba/Geri...Mom to two boys, Will (3) and Tony (1)..married for 4 years to a great guy..following Dr Phil most days!
I don't know how this will work Penny...the more of us there are the intro will take a whole page and we'll be going through threads faster than ever. It may work better just to have our bios in our sigs?? What does everyone think?
Leigh...Ok I watched Fox for 35-40 mins then I had to get the little devils outside for our bike ride so I missed your Dh again!! He must have been on during the 2nd half. Keep me informed of his schedule and I'll keep trying!! Not sure I liked the host of that hour...don't know how to describe him...kind of full of himself was my first impression  Anyway biked a little over 4 miles with the boys in tow.
Sorry to not get personal with everyone, but I'm tired and I want to keep reading my book (believe it or not it's a harlequin...I usually don't read those but it's a page turner!...the love scenes always crack me up too  ).
I'll chat with you all tomorrow. Hope you all have a wonderful evening!! Toodles.

Geri,
That's why I did it on this one.... I wanted to get everyone's input. I know it seems like it will get long.
Sahm's need their own subtitle huh?
But the pages go by how many posts you have and not how long the posts are.
But still either way is ok with me. :)
FYI: I am not sure if everyone knows but you can change the amount of messages you get on one page:
Go to Control Panel (on the user panel)
Edit Options (on the left)
Scroll down to Number Of Posts Per Page
I have mine set to 40 per page.
Someone had told me about it along time ago and I really like it better that it is usually only one page for me unless we go over 40.
Well I am beat, so I will ttyl :)
Spryng, Hope you are having a wonderful time!!!

HI Gals! ;) Well I would guess that I am the first one to post the answer to the questin of the day! :) My toenails are "creamy pink" is what the bottle says. I think they look like pink sidewalk chalk! haha! Its what Sydney picked when we had "girls night" last friday!
First and Formost, I believe this is long over due so here goes:
CINDI - HI Girl! How are you? I am so sorry I never get personal with you....there are about 4 or 5 people that I always seem to leave out, it is usually because I thumb through the posts and you and I are never post during the same time! I forget what you said in your post and poof! You become a name on a list of people I love and can;'t remember what you talked about! I think I have half-heimers. . . . Anyway, that is what I was thinking too this morning that I need to try and say a little "whats up" to everyone! I would love to chat with you some night or somehting, to get to know you better (I know what these girls say about you isn't true, at all...j/k !!!!!!!! lmao! :gossip: ) Do you chat, can you in the evenings? Glad that you got all that housework done, wish I could say the same, with the dog being sick, maintaining is such a chore it seems. I think we have things figured out though! ugh - after 2 VERY LONG days and one virtually sleepless night....so one last question...is your daughter really mean?!?! And whick one is she in the line up that you have over there?!?! :) :)
Penny - whatever is decided about the bio's just let me know..I don't care either way, since like you said, it is counted by how many posts per page...thanks for he hint about getting the most on a page. Love the question of the day thing..too fun. It will be a fun way to get to know each other! :) I love "this or that" questions too..like "beach or mountains?", "dogs or cats"...I have a whole book that has questions like that, its called "all about me", its a bunch of questions that you ask yourself..they come out with it every year..i always get one, fill it out and see what has changed....
Jaymi - Sounds like you have a new focus, good for you! ;) I hear ya about the fast food, tis what gets me every time.... :burger: :hungry: lol !!!
Geri - I love quiet time too! :) Its quiet here now, maybe because its 1:30 AM!?!?!?!?! HAHAHA! Glad you are enjoying your book! I love to read!
Angel - hope your headache goes away, my dh gets those too, he takes a perscription sleeping pill when he gets them (about once a month) it conks him right out and he says he wakes up really refreshed and pain free...if these are frequent, you should talk to your doctor! :) :soap: okay, hopping down now! haha! just caring about ya thats all! :)
Cheri - Hope you got that trip to Target in by yourself...when I get that, I purposely go wandering around for a little just enjoying the browsing before getting what I need, I'm evil I know  but if I take DH or dd I feel like a drill sargent, telling them not to get that, or we don't need it, etc,etc :drill: It was rainy here, wish we had a beach to go to ! :) I understand about it being too hot though, it was heat index of 114 here 2 days ago, ugh, had to keep dd in too.
Hi to everyone else that I didn't get too, I promise to address you personally one day! (lol) Just ask Cindi, she feels very special now! haha! j/k, cindi,
well I think I am going to attempt sleep, this is a new venture for me, so wish me well! I will try and pop in tomorrow...im so excited, tomorrow night is scrapmania at Archivers (any of you have those?!?) I'm going with some girlfriends from 5-11! IT includes dinner, and demos and snacks and give aways, will be lots of fun!! Hope everyone is getting some rest, and has a great day today! :sunny:

Let's start with an answer to yesterday's question and a new one...I'm the first one posting.
My toenails need to be redone, so they are a faded 'Hot Chilis'.
Today's question: Tell us something little about yourself that we don't know...!!!
My answer: After high school I completed nail school. I got my license and worked just a little while doing nails in salons. Didn't care for it that much and didn't get much $ starting out so I quit to get another job, a real job since I had gotten married. Because of this I have a box full of colors, colors, colors. Neons, cremes, shines, mattes, you name it.
Penny, you were a busy girl yesterday. Here's my bio:
Crystal, 27 yo sahm of 3 almost 4. Alisa 5, Ally 3, & Andrew 20 months. Due Feb. 1st. Married almost 9 years, live in Texas and homeschool. Avon and Watkins Independent Sales Representative. My plan, when on it, counting calories and exercise.
Okay this is such a good question we may need it again.
So good morning ladies. I slept well and hope everyone else did too. Today is my mom's b-day, she's 51. My sister and I are having a plant and such delivered to her work. Tomorrow we're going to my sister's to celebrate my mom's b-day, my b-day is next Wednesday, and my dh's b-day is Aug. 4th. We're just gonna celebrate everyone's together. Sounds good to me. Well today is Friday so I've got to clean mom's house, go visit MIL and deliver her Avon. Go to Walmart and get mom's gift. Same Old stuff. What's everyone's plans today?
Kristin, don't worry I can't figure out the picture thing either. I finally put one up at the Moms Losing Weight website too. My digital camera isn't working so I haven't been able to put any on.
Jaymi, you actually seem to be doing alittle better anyways. I hope so.
Okay I missed like almost everyone. Hi to Cindi, Geri, Angel, Leigh and everyone else. I hope you all have a great day.

Well, gals, today's the big WI day for me. Drumroll please  I've lost 3 lbs bringing my new weight to 154! This means there's a possibility I could achieve 20 lbs lost by next weigh in :) That's exciting!
Penny- I like the bios in the intro post - I think that's good for new members because 1) we can just point them to the intro post to learn more about each of us and 2) if they forget who is who/on what plan at first, they can look back as reference. I know it took me several weeks to have all that in my mind :)
Kristin- I love the pictures of your family! What cuties you all are :D I'm glad Kasey is feeling better. Personally, I'm ready to donate our dog to a caring family  Just kidding. He sometimes can be very trying on me. He's just soooooo barky it makes it annoying to take him anywhere. That all about me book sounds very interesting!
Cheri- it's so hard taking the wee ones places :lol3: I mean, I know even with one unpredictable being it's hard, so I can't even imagine more than one. Liam is usually okay in stores and stuff, but doesn't like being there very long, and then there are days when he just has a meltdown for no apparent reason and everyone turns to look at me like their children never cry or I'm being abusive. DId you go to Target by yourself?
Angel- I hope you're feeling better today! ((hugs)) to you!
Cindi- you have been Miss Productivity! :D Don't tell my Dh - he'll wonder what the heck I'm doing each day  I haven't had a huge appetite this week either, but it's because TOM blew through.
Jaymi- that recipe looks good :D What books did you check out to read? I just joined a book club, so I'm forced to read (I love to read, but barely have time anymore). Don't focus too hard on being off plan, just refocus today and start again :)
Geri- yes, people sometimes have mixed feelings about the host. You know, I didn't see him either, but I did take the dog out during part of the show, so he could have come on. How's the Harlequin coming along??? ;)
Penny- I didn't know about being able to set posts per page. I like that option. So how do you know when it's long enough to start a new thread?
Nothing new to report yet. Going for our usual walk soon :) Kristin- hey, you should have posted today's question since you were first this morning - hee hee - but I'll do it.
Yesterday's question: LOOK DOWN AT YOUR FEET.
WHAT COLOR IS YOUR TOENAILS?Purple
Today's Question: In 100 words or less, How did you meet DH?
Loveliam
07-23-2004, 09:16 AM
 crystal - we posted at the same time :) Well, we can answer both questions I suppose!
Something you don't know about me: I'm fascinated by hair - styles, products, color, etc. I've always thought it would be so much fun to be a hair stylist :)
Crystal- happy b-day to your mom! Hope you have a good day then :)

Okay Leigh, your question for the day. Hey you didn't answer either one.
I met my dh in high school. He was a junior, I was a senior. I broke up with my boyfriend of a year and a half. Everyone thought we'd get married. Towards the end of senior year, I broke up with him and started going out with my dh's best friend. His friend worked nights, so my dh and I would wait for him to get off work together. My dh now, then was so shy and really had never had a girlfriend. Anyways, as we spent more time together we started to like each other. So I broke up with his friend and dated my dh, broke up with him and went back to his friend and did it again. And again, until my dh said enough's enough. Him or me, I was put on the spot so I chose my dh. The better choice. His friend I had dated, wasn't a great guy and I think it was just a senior thing for me, going wild for just a bit. Nonetheless, me and dh were engaged a few months later and married a few months after that.
I hope that was less than 100 words, but once you start talking about old days, you just can't seem to stop.
Okay, Leigh, your turn.

Good morning. Been doing stuff with dh the past couple of days. My eating has been pretty good considering how much we have gone out to eat. Last night I went out with my MOMS club. We went to see 13 going on 30. I highly recomend seeing it. It will be out on dvd in a few weeks.
Let me answer the questions first. My toenails are "Friar, friar, pants on fire!" red. I just redid them before the questions were asked. One thing you don't know about me: I collect Precious Moments figurines. I have about 45, and want more. But I am specific about which ones I want. Where did I meet my dh? At my best friend's (his cousins) wedding. I hope everyone has a great weekend. My ww stuff STILL not here.
Here's my bio:
Ricci sahm to two boys 4 and 5, married 7 years, going to be doing ww.

I wasn't sure if the question of the day would work and now we have three  :fr: :fr:
My toenails were deep pink but I just went neutral. So now they are a taupe color. I love nail polish so I change them all the time.
I met my dh in a grocery parking lot. That was the hang out back then. A friend of mine knew a friend of his and we met. It was my sophmore year in high school and we have been together ever since :)
The one thing ya'll don't know is a hard one for me... I am an open book... lol OK I have been sitting here for 15 min trying to find something to say...
I think the only thing I can think of is.... I have a love for toerings. I always have one on and change them all the time. I am a mamma but a hip one ;)
Kristen,
That is so funny about the dog being on human meds... lol And I just adore your pics on the site. You are a very beautiful lady! You are going to be a total knock out at goal! ;)
Cheri,
Did you go to Target last night? I do the same thing where I tell dh I just need to get out for a minute and I walk around WalMart aimessly... lol
Cindi,
Let us know about the new child. Boy or girl? And pass some of those not hungry vibes to me.... LOL :)
Jaymi,
Thanxs for the recipe. Hang in there! You can get back on track!
Crystal,
Happy Birthday Mom! :balloons:
Leigh,
OMG!!!!!! You are definetly NOT on a plateau!!!!! WOOOOHOOO!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Oh and about deciding when to start a new thread. I just look at how many messages we are at before I click on the link. It is usually b/t 38 and 40 messages.
Ricci,
I can't believe your ww stuff is still not here! I hope it is here today for sure!!!!!!
Mel,
I HAVE TO GIVE YOU BIGGGGGG PRAISE!!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR THE SHOES!!!! THEY ARE SOOOOO CUTE! ANDREW HAS ALREADY WORN THE PAIR THAT FITS!!! THANKS SOOOO MUCH AGAIN :) :) :) :) :)
Melinda,

Michelle,

Heeeeeeeeeey Yoooooooooooooooooou Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuys. Alas after typing my salutation (ala The Electric Company) I realize that many of you young chicks won't get it. :dunno: Oh well, hello to you too. ;)
Let's see, no I didn't go to Target. BUT all the kids were down and I went and walked the track (BY MYSELF). Still got some me time and did something ''good'' for me, to boot.
My toenails--are almost always painted a deep red. Currently though I have a french pedicure.
Something you don't know about me--my eye crosses  and I keep an online blog...so really I'm pretty open about stuff within reason. :)
How I met Hubby--He was in the ARMY at Ft. Benning GA, my dad was pastoring a church in that area. I went to a singles bible study with a friend and met him there. We were friends for over a year, and started dating. At the time he was working undercovering buying drugs with CID. So he had earrings and a goatee etc. It was fun bringing that home to my Southern Baptist pastor, dad.
Leigh--woo hoooooooooooooooooooooo, on the weigh in...awesome.:cheer:
Penny--I like the mini bios at the top, being new it helps me keep everyone straight. Thanks for the info on settings, I'll have to do that. :comp:
Michelle--how are you feeling??? :grouphug:
Spryng--nevermind, you're hubby is home. :smoking:
Geri--reading a cloak ripper huh? :) Hope it was a nice diversion
Ricci--I want to see that movie too. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. I love chick flicks. I'm in a house filled with testosterone so I try to surround myself with girly stuff to balance it all out. :queen:
Kris--do you have photo editing software? You avatar has to be a certian size and so you'd need to go in a make those adjustments before you could upload the pics.
BTW I have pics of my kids and day to day stuff on my blog. I love to take pictures. :)

Has anyone heard from Michelle? I hope she's okay.
Back from our morning walk :)
My flexpoints reset today so I'm using some for pizza for lunch. But I want to save some for the weekend because we have a wedding to go to.
Crystal- you're right I forgot to answer my own question  Sorry. I met DH on a blind date! In a roundabout way, I was working with DH's mother. My boss at the time and his mother set us up. Neither one of us really wanted to go on the date, but felt pressured to do so. On our first date, I talked about loving chocolate. A few days after the date, I came home to a package on my doorstep . . . a box of chocolates from DH's favorite candy store. I thought that was sooooo sweet! The rest is history :)
As for your story - it's so cute! So you robbed the cradle?? Just kidding.
Ricci- red nails are fun! Good for you in making good choices while eating out. That's always a challenge.
Penny- so does the toering compliment the taupe nail color? Toerings are fun too - I personally love anklets!
Cheri- is there a way for us to access your blog? I'd love to see photos of the children. :strong: you've been keeping so active!
Today I have to redo my pedicure and stuff so I look decent for the wedding tomorrow :) I think I'll do that when Liam naps. It took me a really long time to write this - Liam's a bit fussy again with those teeth visibly pushing through up top.

Cripes, I'm behind!! Didn't get to post yesterday and I missed out on a whole bunch of stuff!!
I lost the couple of odd pounds I gained while away at my sister's house, so I'm back on track, feeling good! I'm taking the boys to the gym with me today, the first time in months since they had a meltdown and I had to leave with 2 screaming babies. I may not get much done today, but I plan to start to acclimate them to the play area today so it is fun for them.
Now onto the important stuff, the questions!
1)Tonails are a deep garnet, red color. Nail polisish is the only thing that makes my huge feet look somewhat feminine, so I almost always have it on!
2)Steve and I met at work. It was over 12 years ago, it was at a home for abused girls, I was a receptionist and he was a truck driver, picking up donations. We were friends for a couple of years at first. He was dating many women and I was living with a guy I thought I'd marry! I liked Steve sooo much as a person/friend that I set him up with my younger sister, Lisa. LOL! I left the job, my boyfriend decided he didn't want a relationship (with just me apparently). Steve and I kept in contact as friends and about a year later we started dating, then the rest is history. After living together for a couple of years we got married in 1995.
3) something you don't know about me: Well a couple of you may know this but here goes. I was adopted as a baby and raised by a weird but loving family. My mom didn't think she could get pregnant, adopted me, then 2 years later gave birth to my brother and then another 2 years my sister! LOL About 5 years ago I found my biological mom and dad (separately) and now I have 3 more 1/2 sisters and 2 more 1/2 brothers. Confusing, I know, welcome to my world!!! LOL
Leigh, a big woooo-woooo to you and your weight loss!!! You are kicking butt and taking names! Way to go! :)
Sorry I can't get more personal right now with everyone, but I've already written a small novel and need to get the boys dressed and out the door for our big adventure.
hugs to you all,
Di

Hello - Okay so I answred the toenail question...something ya'll don;t know about me....lets see, there is alot. I'll pick one.... I i love red appliances, and shoes. I have all red in ym kitchen and have over 100 pairs of shoes...there, that is 2 things ;)
I met my DH at Hy-Vee (grocery store) I worked in the greenhouse and he worked in produce, I was 15 and he was 17, we were friends for a ear first, I secretly wanted him for a boyfriend the whole time, and then it just happened, we kissed one night after playing in the rain, and well.....hello to sydney and marriage! haha! :)
Penny - thanks for the kind words, I did use to be a knockout, I think I mean, I know, I can get there again. jig: you are too sweet.
Crystal - Happy birthday to all of your family!
Leigh - Have fun "painting your piggies" and hope you have a nice weekend at the wedding, I love watching little kids dance, does Liam wobble or anything yet when you put music on?
Cheri - you are too funny, I was laughing outloud at your comment to spryng. I do have photo software, however, when I crop it, and make it smaller, and even zoom out, it still says its too big. Not sure what to do...ugh, oh well, at least they are somewhere!
Ricci - I love certain precious moments, the neatest one that I have ever seen is the adoption one....because I am adopted, there is something else none of you knew! Anyone else adopted here?!?! :D
Hi to everyone else who hasn't posted since my last post! :) Especially you Michelle, you have us worried now, hope you are doing okay, check in soon girlie and give us an update! :comp:

Hello Everyone!
Hmm something about myself that no one knows! Well I actually went to school for my Nurses Aide in High School and got my license.. But as some of you know to keep it active you have to work in a nursing home… which I hate. So I let my license go.. I also went to school for Cosmetology after I had my son in 1997. I worked at Regis Hairstyles in the mall for about 6 months, but I just recently let that license go too.. I don’t like hair either!
My toenails are pink.. I have no idea what color since I don’t own any polish. I had a couple bottles, but I just gave them to my lil sis. I hadn’t polished my toes in months…
Leigh~ you’ll laugh when you see what books I picked… but I’m a big kid.. Anyways I got 2 Harry potter book, a Frank Baum book on the wizard of oz, and a Murder She Wrote book. I only got 2 pages of that one read.. And I fell asleep!
OMG, if I told you all how I met DH yaw’l wouldn’t like me anymore!! Ha, Ha, Let’s just say I met him through my cousin!!! :lol3:
My Bio: My name is Jaymi. I have 2 kids. 20 mth old Girl, and a 6 yr old boy. I ‘ve been married to my DH for 2 ½ years. I’m counting calories and eating lowfat foods. Plus I exercise. I have no idea what the name of that diet is!!!
I know I have a lot of other comments I could make.. But I can’t remember!! So forgive me for today~ I just got the baby to sleep so It’s time to exercise now… or it’s not gonna happen! Talk with ya later!

Wow you girls. Y'all are posting lots today.
Geri, have you checked out the selling tips on the Avon website? I did today and there are alot of great ideas and you can use them or use them to make your own, which is what I am doing. Anyways, just thought I'd let you know.
Leigh, I don't think I robbed the cradle only because my dh was 16 going on 17 but was NOT anything like a normal teenager. He didn't date, he worked since he was 15 and his mindset has always been older, although he fits a 20 something year old now, I think most men do most of their lives, LOL!!! We got married when I was 18 and he was 17 and I wasn't even pregnant, makes you wonder what we were thinking huh???

If you click on my profile, the link to my blog is there. ;) Now I'm off to tidy the kitchen and get the boys down for quiet time. Leigh if you tell me your hubby brought you Godiva it will bring him up to a whole 'nother level of admiration. I mean he does work for my favorite new station after all. :chockiss:
I got pilates in the a.m. while DH watched the boys. Go me, 5 days in a row and still hating it.
Hubby is about to leave for work and I've got to tidy up around here. More later this evening girlies. :)

Hey gals! I'm still worried about Michelle. Maybe the doc had her come in to check everything out and she'll soon post to tell us all is well.
Well, I now have the bedding, most of the decor items, and most of the bathroom items for the redecorated bed/bath and I am sooo excited. I'm completely in love with the shower curtain I found  Leave it to me to get excited over bathroom decor, but I love bathroom decorating items. Now all we need is for the furniture to arrive.
Di- :cheer: on the weight loss!!! WTG :) Awesome - I knew you'd do it.
Kristin- Liam bounces when we put music on.
Jaymi- now I'm REALLY curious about how you met DH  THose books sound good- I used to read Harry Potter ones too when I had more time.
Crystal- I was just joking about you robbing the cradle of course  But you did marry young - I was 29.
Cheri- I went to your blog, which I like, but didn't see links for any photos - I may be doing something wrong :?:
I'm enjoying seeing how ya'll answer the questions - that's fun. TTYL!

Hey guys!!
I was tired last night so I slept from 3pm to this morning lol then we went to hubbys urologist appt. for his vasectomy. Which will be done of FRIDAY August 13th! YIKES!
My pulmonologist thinks that my chest wall is bruised up...from what I don't know so he put me on Vioxx which they typically use for arthritis etc...but it makes me feel funky thats why I slept. I did check in today earlier so penny you are right I was here but I didn't have time to post. I am ok but just hurting so I'm taking it easy. Thanks everyone for the concern and sorry I didn't have time to post sooner but the doctor hubby is seeing for his vasectomy is an hour away so we took it slow on the way home because the lake was so beautiful!! Then we got our cable internet hooked up today!! Yayyyyy!! So I'll have to give everyone my new email addy. Anyway hubby rented some movies so I'm gonna go watch with him, we got confessions of a teenage drama queen, butterfly effect and barber shop 2.
Penny ty so much for the note and gift!! You are too sweet!!! :grouphug: I need to give you my new phone number too I disconnected the home phone since we got cable internet so now we just have our cell phones :)
Ok off to watch movies with hubby.
Love to all
Michelle

Michelle, feel better soon sweetie! How in the heck did you bruise your chest cavity? Sounds like an impossible task!
The gym experience was somewhat successful. I was able to escape the play area for 15 minutes of cardio, better than nothing. Baby steps! Then we left after only a 1/2 an hour, before they got too fussy. Ethan freaked out when a little girl came up to him and touched his lips! LOL I think the boys need some socializing!
It's both Logan and Ethan's official B-day this weekend as well as Steve's so I'll be pretty busy. My house is still a disaster area, but I don't think it will change anytime soon, so I'm just coping with it for now.
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend. I'll try and check in soon!
hugs,
Di

Hey Everyone, I'm back from the beach. We all had a great time. I miss my DH though. He won't be back till Sunday night. This is a longer trip for him 6 nights. YUK. Anyway, I read briefly through today's posts, don't know if I can catch up with the last few days.
Michelle, RU alright, what happened? Hope you are feeling better.
Penny, glad you got the shoes and like them!
Hi to all of you. I just can't get personal with ya all right now. I AM exhausted after this 5 hour trip home. TRAFFIC WITH 2 KIDS....YUK@!!
LEigh and Spryng....hope you got your clothing.

Good evening all,
Mel, you can have my Dh for a couple of nights if you want  . Jk of course...I'd rather send you the kids ;) . Glad you had a nice time at the beach.
Di..happy Birthday Logan, Eathan and Steve :hb: :gift: :balloons: . It does sound like the boys need some socializing! Will always goes off by himself in a corner somewhere and doesn't really interact with the rest of the kids. The neighbor commented today that he's finally talking to her...we've lived here for a year and a half now! She's kind of a loudmouth  and he's always been shy. He's getting much better the older he gets. Congrats on dropping those few pounds.
Michelle..take it easy girlie and get better soon!!
Cheri..they boys are adorable. The pic was kind of small though :) but I could make them out. Congrats on the pilates! Wooo hooo. How tall are you? I'm about 5' 9". Our numbers are very close. I remember the Electric Company :o ;) .
Hi Ricci...sorry, I won't be chatting again tonight. Tony was really pushing all my buttons today so I'm worn out and going to bed early. Who knew a 14 month old could know so much about how to irritate his mother? I know Will probably did the same thing at that age but I choose not to remember!
Leigh..so I'm not the only one who missed Dh! I want to see the shower curtain NOW!! I'm sooo impatient when it comes to new things. :D Congrats on the 3 lbs....you're going to surpass me really quickly if I dont get my crap together soon! We're going to FL on Sept 2nd and I'd really like to lose 10 lbs by then...suppose I had better start eating the right foods then hey?
Crystal, I glanced through the pointers on the Web site. I have only 3 orders for this first campaign but I don't really care at this point. I'll see how it goes for the next few and if I start spending more money on books and such than I make, then I'll quit selling.
Penny...queston of the day is a good idea. Now I just have to catch up....
Toenails...a nice bright red.
Something you don't know about me...hmmmm...let's see...does it have to be interesting? I graduated from college with a BS in Mathematics with a minor in business....in 1985...you know...before some of you were probably born!! :sssh:
How I met my Dh. We met through mutual friends and then I stalked him  :lol3: that's the story he tells anyway. We met in September of 1998 didn't date alone until December and were engaged by April of 1999, married in May of 2000...had Will in May of 2001 and Tony in May of 2003 (we're freaky about May apparently).
OK it's getting late and Dh wants the computer...so Hi to Spryng, Kristin, Jaymi, Melinda (where are you?? Don't worry about keeping up with posts...I can't either!) and anyone I may have missed!! Going to peek at Kristin's pics before I hand over the puter!!

Hey everyone! Quick check-in because hubby just went out to go get a drink with the boys... my daughter is sleep, and I need to go exercise... but instead I am here! I'd probably be eating though... so Rather be here! I am soo disappointed in myself... my hubby keeps getting mad at me,, because I kept getting depressed and pissed off... My clothes are getting tight and my stomach is SOOO bloated! I know it could be signs of PMS.. but I doubt it!! I know that I've been eating wrong.. If the scale is right... I gained 5 lbs... 3 back in this week.. That is just cause for me to go jump in the ocean! Weigh-in is tomorrow, so no chance of seeing a loss for this week, and I’m sure in the **** not going to take measurements... The TV dinners I usually get were way too expensive this week, (not on sale) so I have to eat the regular foods.. Well I'll go ahead and stop all of this whining.. my day wasn’t bad really, just the way I feel inside! Like a failure.. anyways.....
I have a cousin and we always made a pact since we were young to never date an ex of the other one... Well one day I was at her house.. mind you I hadn’t really talked to her in a while.... anyways I was opening up her photo albums and I was single at the time. I opened to a pic of this cute guy in his track uniform.. so as I opening my mouth to say "hook me up" That cute dude walks in the door!!!!! It was soooo scary I just closed the book and acted like it never happened! Anyways my cousin was going to college in Houston, and I would try to go out there all the time to spend time with her.. So she would send me with him all the time.. Well me and him would talk on that 2 hr trip... then one day he told me that he liked me and he didn’t like her... Why did he have to say that?!? Needless to say he broke up with her, we ended up dating and now we're married!! (hope that was fewer than 100 words!! ) My cousin was mad at me for a while... because afterwards I didn't tell her we were dating... but now we are back to normal.
Anyways I gotta get my butt up. My daughter has woke up.. so no exercise for me.. I'd love to have a lOOOONNNGG hot bath right now and read my book... but too bad. Tomorrow I have to get up and exercise no matter what! 30 minutes isn't enough to burn off the calories I ate today!!! I didn't eat too much.. but I ate the Shepard’s pie twice, some fruits, and today I cooked:
Campbell's® 2-Step Garlic Pork Chops
Prep. time: 10 min. Cooking time: 10
Serves: 4
Source: Campbell's® Quick and Easy Cookbook
Ingredients
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 boneless pork chops
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell’s® Cream of Mushroom,
Soup OR 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's® 98% Fat
Free Cream of Mushroom Soup, Soup
1/2 cup milk
Directions
HEAT oil in skillet. Add chops and garlic and cook until
browned.
ADD soup and milk. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over
low heat 10 min. or until done. Serve with couscous or
rice if desired.
Tips Also delicious with Campbell's® Cream of Mushroom
with Roasted Garlic Soup; omit garlic.
So... I don't know how many calories that is.. but the rice alone was probably 300... so who knows! Anyways here is a kool article that someone let me in on... oh and it also corroborated with my statement that muscle doesn’t weigh more than fat!! http://www.truestarhealth.com/members/archives.asp?id=11ml3p1a43 Well seriously gotta go.. Hope everyone is well!
