Mel - Thats so great that you are spending more time together as a family!! And cutting TV time keeps kids focused longer so thats wonderful!!! Your beach trip sounds wonderful!!!!

Leigh Thanks for the compliments on my family :) Have fun on your walk this morning :) TOM hasn't arrived yet for me he better make an appearance or I'm gonna be in some trouble lol.

Spryng - Thanks for the compliment on my girls :) Of course I think they are cute too ;) Now as for DH....I will not pass the compliment along to him, he's bound to start thinking hes hot shiznit!! (my gangsta talk again LOL)

Geri - Awww too bad you had to enjoy that romantic fire by yourself :( Next time tell him to suck it up ;) jk lol Sounds like you had a really full day yesterday, I love that you take the boys on your bike rides!! I would love to take my girls out on a ride but I need to buy a bike trailer!!

Ginny - It is so great to hear from you when you can pop in!! and that recipe sounds soo wonderful!!!

Crystal - so glad that you and your family had fun at Chuck E Cheeses!!! Have fun grocery shopping if you can!

Kristin - Sounds like you have your hands full with those dogs!! I told hubby that I want to get a bichon frise puppy but he doesnt want a little dog :( We have a malamute/springer mix right now but she is totally the kids dog lol!! Hope you have a great day!!

Jaymi - Way to go on the exercise girly!! I would suggest that since you aren't breaking a sweat in the 45 minutes with denise austin maybe you should move to a different video for a few weeks and shake things up!!! That way your body isn't too accostomed to the exercise and it stops being as effective as it used to be :)

Penny - Girl you've got to be kidding!!! My dh doesnt resemble vin at all....oh but a girl can dream LOL!!! I am not telling him that lol he'll get a big head and start strutting around LMAO!!!! JK hes not that bad but he does seem to think bald is beautiful what a dork I married lol. I've missed you girly so glad to see a post from you!!

Well not much planned for me today! It poured rain last night so we're just going to spend the day inside because its a muddy mess outside. We need to get the house ready for the inlaws who are coming next month anyway! Hubby will get home early today so I'm gonna take some time to myself and read for a little bit. Well I need to go get some breakfast!! I will TTYL!!
Love to all!!

Good morning all!

I am dragging today. I got in bed at a decent hour last night but ds (3 yo) woke up 4 times between 12:30 am and 2:30 am and when my sleep gets broken up like that it kills me. But I guess my oldest two are coming down with that cold I had been fighting. :( I just hope it goes away fast. One week from today I will be leaving with Dh and I don't want them to still be sick when I leave, i would feel terrible about it and I'm praying Tanner doesn't get it at all.
What does everyone have planned for today? I need to clean today (once I get some energy) and then I'm going to go to walmart to see about buying a charm bracelet kit or something. For those of you on ww, have you seen their charm bracelets that count pts? Well I thought that would be great to take with me on the road with dh, but there isn't any ww meetings around here and buying one off the internet means extra shipping and all that so I thought, why can't I just make my own?? lol. So that is what I plan to do. Attempt to do, lol, I should say. Plus I need some more yarn for my afghan, it is working up so fast :)
I think dinner tonight will be one of the casseroles. What are you all having?

Penny, sounds like you have been so busy this past weekend! But it's nice to stay busy, makes the time pass quicker. :) I think that gold star reward system is great! I may start doing that with my kids on picking up their rooms and such. I think the monthly video swap is a great idea too but I just don't have many videos, lol. I have Denise Austin fat blaster workout, it has two workouts on it, the first one is solely aerobics and the second is aerobics and weights, it's 3 min high intensity aerobics and 1 min weights... I always like it. Haven't done it in a very long time. Oh and yes I make side dishes with my dinners, lol. I just post the main entree but I always make sides... it's usually two veggies. Pretty simple. I used to be so bad about making rice a roni or pasta sides with EVERY meal (not that there is anything wrong with those) and one vegetable, but with Saving Dinner she adds her side suggestions to every meal and I thought that was fantastic! And it's usually a baked potatoe (sweet or regular) salad and a veggie.... or two out of those 3. The other night it was fries and coleslaw... but healthy stuff. So that is what I do now, I always steam a couple veggies and bake a potato or something. What do you normally have?

Jaymi! How are you? I just loved your last post... so personal :) The Lean Pockets Ultra Supreme Pizza was 200 cals each. They were really tasty. And I don't think you are a bad example for your sis. You just show her how hard it is to take care of ourselves when we have an entire family to care for, that's all. We SAHM's really do have a tough (but rewarding) job and weightloss isn't easy for us. So hang in there! I know you will do it!

kristin, it's ok if you don't post on the weekends, it's normally slow here on the weekends and goodness knows when my dh is in no one hears a peep from me, LOL. ;) Have fun dog sitting! I take it it's an outside dog right?

Crystal, I'm not alone in my marriage with Arnold?! LOL... When I was younger (and he was cuter, lol) I had dreams about him too, lol. I love the movie Twins down to this day... very funny. He's not the best actor but he tries, lol.

Cheri, I think your plan sounds fantastic. You can never go wrong with cutting out the bad carbs and sugar. I eat alot of whole grain products too and I found that whole wheat pasta and such doesn't taste much different that the regular but it sooo much better for you! And I agree with how you get the weight off doesn't really matter in the long run, it's how you keep it off. Let me tell you, losing weight seems like the hard part, but from being on the ww boards you find out it's nothing compared to maintaining that weightloss. That is a real struggle. When you are losing weight you have the encouragement of the scale going down, sizes dropping, inches lost to spur you on, well once you lose all you are going to lose and are in the size you want to be in you don't have that extra push... so it becomes a real battle with yourself to stay OP and keep the weight off. I will be there soon enough once I hit my personal goal. But I look forward to a new challenge, lol.

Leigh, I hope you enjoyed your morning walk! And it sounds like all that re-motivation is going well for you :)

Well, I guess I should get off here and get my rear end in gear, lol. I this is a great week for all of us and great WI'S!!! TTYL!

Spryng, I agree about Arnold, he's not the best actor, but he has tried every part known to man I think and has a funny side to him. He is cute too. Still don't know why I dreamed it.
Anyways, I haven't done much today, I had to pay Avon and place an order, that took a while, then I went through some mail. I think I'm gonna take a break and wash some clothes, then I need to work on some school lesson plans and some more Avon stuff. I don't think I'm gonna buy groceries today, I've got one thing of hamb meat so I have no idea what I'll make with it. I guess I'll work up grocery list today too. Lots of computer work and laundry, that's what today is.
Oh btw, I had a dream that I was having a girl and I was feeling like it too, but dh had a primonition (sp?) that it was a boy, but I'm the mama so my feelings are stronger, LOL!!! I also had a dream that we named her Allison, I have no idea why, never even thought of that name before, but I do think we both like it. It's funny, it's kind of a mix between Alisa and Ally.
I know none of that was necessary. Hope you all have a great day.

Hi again! Went for my walk and then did my 15 minute abs video, showered  and grabed some lunch. My first meal of the day - Boca Burger, lowfat roll, fat-free chips.

Crystal- I'm glad everyone enjoyed Chuck E Cheese. That would be fun. I hope everyone gets a nap in! :D Oh - I'd go with your feelings. As soon as I knew I was pregnant, I knew it was a boy.

Kristin- welcome back:) Sounds like you had a good weekend! What kind of dog do you have?

Jaymi- sounds like you're feeling better - that's good. I hope you have fun at the zoo - do you like the zoo? I love zoos.

Hi, Penny, I've missed you! I like the book club a lot. We meet once a month. What are you making for dinner tonight?

Michelle- morning! Where are the inlaws coming in from? Are you looking forward to it? Have a good day :)

Spryng- :( Sorry that the kids are now feeling bad - that's no good. I think the charm bracelet thing is a good idea - do they sell charm bracelet kits? What kinds of charms will you be using?

Okay, gals, guess I should try and get stuff done. I'd like to have beef fajitas for dinner tonight, but I'll need to make sure I'm careful wioth points today, though I do have the lower fat tortillas. We'll see :)

Hello all!

Just got back from walmart. I didn't realize there were so many beads to choose from! AHHH! :fr: But I got some crystal looking ones with black ones to be the every 5 pts bead and a set of 4 charms, a butterfly, a frog, dragonfly, and sunflower. I think mine will have the frog on it, I collect them, my kitchen is green ivy and frogs! Did I ever tell you that? lol. I also bought a big sheet of white paper to get the kids new chore list started and bought some stickers and all that, I told Dh about setting up a reward system for their help around the house and he couldn't figure out why we hadn't started it before, lol. And the kids are excited. So I get to get that all set up sometime today. But that should be fun, and I got me another roll of yarn, so now I should have enough to get me through the weekend. But I still haven't started on this house! LOL. Maybe I need to make myself a reward system, lol... wash the dishes and earn a free manicure! LOl. Ok, I guess my reward is to have a nice house :)

Leigh, yes they sell lots of bracelet and necklace kits at walmart, I didn't buy a kit, I just bought little bags of what I need. Beef fajitas sound good.

Crystal, what is hamb meat? Did you mean lamb meat? I've never ate lamb, does it taste like beef? You'll have to let me know how you decide to cook it. So do you do better with Watkins or Avon?

Ok, gonna get off here and get crafty! (I know.. I should do houseowork... lol.. but what is the fun in that?!) TTYL!

Hi, Spryng! The craft stuff you bought sounds fun. I like the bracelet idea. Now if there is a black bead for every five points, what does each charm signify? Just curious. Liam loves frogs - every single frog toy he's gotten he's loved. So, he's going to be a frog for Halloween :) I got an adorable costume on ebay. You'd probably like it!

I should finish up organizing the utility closet, but . . . do you see me doing that???

spryng
07-19-2004, 01:24 PM
Leigh, the charm is what you move around the beads... so if you eat an apple (1 pt) you move the charm up one bead... and then you have a different colored bead to signify every five pts so you can look at the bracelet and see exactly where you are. Does that make sense? I'll post a link to the offical ww bracelet so you can see what they are suppose to look like ok? They are neat.

G'morning yall...

Hope you are off to having a great day. I got up this morning and went grocery shopping ALONE. You know you are a SAHM when going to the grocery store alone is a treat. :D

Spryng -- I've seen those WW charm bracelets, those are a really neat idea. I know the sell sets of charms and even pretty stones/beads so I'm sure you can make up a really pretty bracelet. Sorry to hear your kiddos are feeling badly. Two of mine have that hand, foot and mouth disease currently. Not so bad health wise...they just have to stay home so they don't spread it.

I'm going to do Pilates when the boys go down for quiet time. I'll check back in when I'm done. ;) I haven't decided what I'm making for supper. Either creamy itallian chicken or mushroom porkchops. We always have two veggies too, and fruit. But we rarely have bread with meals, unless it's pasta then we have garlic bread and with soup or chili I bake bread bowls to eat from.

Ok. I have to run back out and get water and Tide (forgot that..ugh) and I need to fix my boys something to eat for lunch before hubby has to head off to work.

Hope you all have a great day. :)

Here is the official one being sold on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36459&item=5508952526&rd=1

and here is one someone has made and is selling on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11781&item=5508840355&rd=1
this last link is where I got the idea that I could make one for myself for a little of nothing and I was right, I'll be able to make about 4 with what I bought and it only cost about 10 bucks. :)

Spryng--I have my boys to do/chores on a spread sheet. I put that in a page protector that is up on the fridge and they get to check off with a dry erase marker (their fav color) when they complete a chore. The chores are broken down into two sets and they can earn one sticker for each...so two stickers a day. I buy all manner of stickers at our Dollar Tree and when they earn 10 stickers they get a treat/prize.

I have those charms here at home. I just went through a phase of making bookmarks and had those attached to the end. The frog is a favorite of mine too. (Fully Rely On God) Anyway, woo hoo on being crafy. And I agree I think there should be some sort of reward system for doing all the housework. :) And nope the cleanliness of it is not enough of a reward. LOL

Ok...really I'm off of here...check back in later this evening girls. :)

Have a great day.

Hi Cheri, I don't know if you checked the last thread or not. I welcomed you and told you alittle about me. I live in Texas and I homeschool and my kids are the same ages as yours. Where exactly do you live?
Spryng, I just meant hamburger meat. But I did find some boneless skinless chicken thighs for a recipe called Lazy Day Chicken. I'll start after our nap, it takes a couple of hours to make. Never had it. This was only my second campaign with Avon. Watkins has been slow through the summer but it has been for every body and I haven't felt like giving much time or effort to either. When I started with Watkins, I did GREAT and Avon is starting Great. It's just that you really need to put it some time and effort to make both of them good. I'm trying to work up some Summer Christmas Special, which means just to start placing your holiday orders now. I love shopping out of catalogs or on the net and I think alot of people do so I'm hoping to focus on those people. Hopefully by August I can send out my Christmas specials. That's the best kind of things to do, make up specials and deals and such like that that gets people's attention.
Well, we had an early lunch. So we are fixing to lay down for a nap. TTYL

Love to all!

Cheri- we posted at the same time again! So I missed you first time around - sorry. It sounds like you're right on track with the exercise, that's good. And your dinner choices sound good too.

Spryng- I saw the WW bracelet once in passing, but never looked closely at it - but now I know what you mean. Thanks for the links! You'll have to post a pic of the bracelet you make once your done - maybe I'll buy one from you

Michelle- that bracelet does look nice. It is a cute idea for keeping track of points.

Well, I'm sitting here on the couch doing absolutely nothing productive, but after our busy weekend I feel like I need a break.

Ok I need to finish my chores now!!

Hi Ladies!

It is a very busy morning around here! :) Went to Wal-Mart and got my groceries.... but no shoes ..... grrr... It's ok though :)

Ok Spryng, I have inspired you to do the rewards system and you have inspired me to plan out my meals..... :)
I didn't do it for the whole week...... Just for two days ... :) I have to work my way up.... LOL :) And WE WILL ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL WEIGH IN THIS WEEK! Hope the kids aren't getting sick. :(

Michelle,
Congrats on getting the bracelet. I guess hubby gave you the ok to order? LOL :) Mine always says.... spend, spend, spend.... :)

Cheri,
Well I guess I am in the middle of all of you. I am in Louisiana. You said you are in the bottom part, is it more towards us? Either way, I am on the way right side of the boot. I have been all over Texas though. In Del Rio, Houston, San Antonio.

Crystal,
Are you going to do your xmas shopping out of your books? I need to get starting on my shopping. I am usually done by October. I am thinking about getting alot of things monogrammed this year.

Leigh,
I think you do need a break! We all do sometimes... Have you been sbooking lately? I am behind again. Never enough hrs in the day.

Well as for me I am not going to do too much today. I am going to do my house work tomorrow. Have anyone of you ever thought about organizing your time during the day. Like dust on a certain day, mop on a certain day, etc. or do you already do it? My kids don't have a certain time during the day to rest or do our school work etc. I was just thinking about getting us a routine going. Any advice would be helpful :)

Hello again!

Oh Michelle! I wish I would have seen your post sooner... those exact beads are at walmart, I could have made you one for nothing. I just finished mine and it's so cute! I took a pic and my camera isn't wanting to upload for me, but I'm not going to give up on it yet. So everyone else who may be wanting one of those ww bracelets, wait and tell me what you think of mine and maybe you can make one yourself and save lots of money or I'll make one for you. It was fun!

Angel, I wish I knew where jeans were cheap. If you don't mind used stuff I would look at garage sales or salvation army or goodwill.. also ebay is a great place to find kids clothes. Wish I had better ideas.

Michelle, when are you in-laws coming in? Sounds like fun for you dd's!

Crystal, I feel silly about thinking you were making lamb, lol. I love boneless skinless chicken thighs! One of my fav parts of the chicken. On the mom's losing weight board I have a recipe there for one dish rosemary chicken with white beans that is yummy! I've made it many times.

ok, sorry I couldn't get personal with everyone, I'm still fighting with this darn camera dock!! Ugh! I'm so proud of that bracelet and I can't get it to upload!! TTYL!

Hi Angel, You snuck in on me :)

I usually by the kids clothes from either Wal-Mart, Target (they have great sales) or even Old Navy. You can get pretty good prices from Old Navy. I also buy from Sears. But I am not sure what you have there. I know Ebay has great items but you can't try them on first. :(

Girls, any other suggestions?

Penny I'm big on routines... I have day to dust (monday's) mop (thursdays after the kids go down) etc... nap time is 1 pm... dinner is between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm (depending on how long it takes to cook, I start cooking at 4 pm) bedtime starts at 9 pm, I lay Tanner down then the other two use the bathroom, brush their teeth, we clean up their floors and then read a book, kiss kiss, lol and then lights out. I don't think I'd ever get anything done without a routine. Did you ever do flylady? (can't remember) she can help get a routine going for cleaning as for the other just sit down and see when you normally do things and progress from there. Not everyone is cut out for schedules but my kids do better with them. HTH, ok, gonna reboot and see if that helps my camera. TTYL!

Hey Spryng!

I will pay you for one of those bracelets..... I have done some soul searching this weekend and decided that I am going to start ww. I am going to start tomorrow but I am pulling out all my books and such to get started today.

I am still struggling so I am trying to find a happy medium and I have decided to truely give ww a shot. I have never been true to myself to stick with it. :)

Ok, I am going to map me out a schedule. I have used flylady in the past and did great with it.... I just started slacking and now I have no cleaning schedule again.

I had a schedule when Hunter was in school but when the summer came it went out the window..... and never came back.... LOL

I think with Hunter going back to school it is time to get back into the swing of things.

I am gonna get off here and get my life organized....... LOL :)

Spryng--Thanks for the ideals.I'm not picky when it comes to cloths.Especially for my son he goes through them so fast. Not that he out grows them he's just rough on them he can get holes in the knees of his jeans in no time flat. He's rough on shoes to I buy him about a pair every 2 months or so if not sooner. So yes i'll can at least find him some play cloths from goodwill so he don't mess up his school cloths.

Penny-- Thanks for the ideals.I never go shopping anywhere except Wal-Mart so i'll defintly try to go to Target and Old Navy for school cloths.Oh,and Good Luck in getting you life organized. :lucky: .I've been trying for years and still have'nt come close. lol  And how do you budget your christmas in time to be done by with shopping in October?I've only been able to do that once in my life and it was so nice. One more Question,What is flylady?Never heard of it before.I guess that enough questions for ya for now.lol :D

Hi Angel!

FlyLady is an site to help you get your cleaning done and your house spotless. It helps you get organized You should look into it! :)
www.flylady.net

I know Sears has a kidvantage program where if your child wears out his clothes before he outgrows them then they will give you another item of the same size if you bring in the old ones.

Have a great evening. I am almost finished supper :) So that's great!

TTYL!

Well, I've been looking at different shower curtains online this afternoon. I'm debating on which way to decorate the bathroom to go with the safari theme in Liam's room. I'm still debating some things, but it's fun :) I'm OP all day and definitely have enough points for beef fajitas tonight. I love fajitas!

Michelle- I'm glad you get along with the in-laws. I get along really well with mine too and it's nice. Sorry you don't get to see them more often, though! Enjoy your bracelet! Some of those handmade ones are really cute!

Cheri-Hi! I actually live in Atlanta - in midtown. Yes, I'm a city girl :D

Angel- how wonderful that your so OP today :cheer: For clothing, have you ever tried consignment stores in "rich" neighborhoods? There's one here in a foo-foo neighborhood and I get Liam really beautiful clothes in excellent condition for ridiculously low prices.

Spryng- I may have you make me a bracelet, but I would certainly want to pay you somehow. I can't wait to see a picture of yours.

Penny- OMG! No, I have not even BEGUN Liam's album. However, I've decided that is one thing I will be doing on Thursdays when the sitter is here. I hadn't thought of breaking up type of cleaning by day, but it sounds like a good idea. Wait . . . did you say you're joining WW???? Whoo-Hoo!! That will be so much fun :)

Well, DH should be home soon and then I'll start dinner. TTYL!

The kids and I got up and went to a concert at the mall, Casting Crowns, a GREAT Contemporary Christian band from here in GA. The kids were pretty good and the show was awesome. I have stayed OP today with no trouble at all. Now to exercise, I feel like pushing a double stroller through the masses at the mall should be good enough, but I will do my crunches and weights anyway.

Angel...www.flylady.net GO there now! LOL! YOu will love it. Also, I think Kohl's is a great place to shop if you have one where you live. Their sales are awesome, and you can get good brands for the price of walmart brands if you catch a sale!

Kids are out in the small pool, so I need to check up on them. Back later!

Penny, I so wish I could chat sometimes but that is dh's time, if you know what I mean?

Spryng, that recipe sounds good. Mine is chicken thighs with a mixture of tomato sauce, onion flakes, garlic powder and beef granules. Baked until done, I'll serve over spaghetti and I wish I had a salad, but fresh out of that so I don't know what else.

Okay getting laundry and dinner and dishes done. TTYL

I need some of that energy about right now.lol  I just finished supper. It was good.I decided to fix mesquite chicken and stove top and green beans. The kids are going to have what I call kids food.Tonight it's corndogs mac&cheese and green beans.Normally I fix the same food for the whole family but they really wanted corndogs,so of coarse I gave in and let them have it.Anyhow,I'm really tired and wondering if i'm going to be able to finish housework today :tired: :faint: I've got to get some sleep tonight. But for right now I think I need some coffee :coffee: just to make it to bedtime.Anyhow,so far so good with me staying OP.I'm going to try and keep busy so I don't sit around and eat this evening or go to bed one,not sure which. But anything to stay OP.
What does DH stand for?I know you girls are refering to your husbands but I 'm not sure what that stands for.Just curious.Well let me get off here and vacum and clean up supper and give the kids their supper and baths and storytime and finish laundry and then I think it will be safe for me to pass out  lol.You ladies have a nice day :) .ttyl :dizzy:

Hi again!

Boy this computer has been so aggravating!! I uninstalled and re-installed my kodak software (that is what my manual said to do) and not it won't work at all!! :( My dock won't even charge my digital camera... I don't know what else to do. Dh thinks the hard drive on this computer is dying on us. I just hope it makes it until friday because dh is the only one who can fix it and I don't want to not be able to chat with you all!!
but I did finally get fxfoto to read my camera and got those pics uploaded... couldn't edit them the way I needed to though so the bracelet looks too harsh... but here it is AHHHHHHHHH!!! It saved it as an application and not a photo! I'm about to pull my hair out. I was able to send it to my email.. hold on... maybe I got it now...

lets see if it worked...

Penny - So neat that you are gonna try WW too!! I found that it really helps me to consume all of my calories in the day!! Are you going to combine it with some of the SBD principles? Thats what I'm trying to do so I still eat healthy :) You will do great girly!!

Leigh - I definately want to see some pictures when you are done decorating in your house :) Thats always so fun!!

Angel - Your mesquite chicken sounds wonderful!!! DH means Dear Husband/hubby :) Keep yourself busy girly!! I always ask myself if I'm eating because I'm bored or because I'm hungry and that usually does the trick for me :)

Cindi - So glad you had a good time at the concert!! You definately deserved to have a fun day!!

Hunskie - Energy? What energy? LOL I'm a good actress so I just pretend I have loads of energy!! Then when DH gets home I just pass out from exhaustion lol jk ;)

I wish you could chat earlier, I will never make it til 11 my time today! But do what works for the majority, life is too unpredictable here! I am catching Spryng's cold anyway(Thanks Alot!! You didn't have to share)

Thanks Michelle, we did have fun, but I am so tired! I was already sore from all the housework I did for the party(sad, but true!) and my legs feel like they have cement blocks tied to them! I don't think the soreness I feel is normal, but can't think of any other reason for it.

Back in a bit!

I did pilates during quiet time --go me-- one day down, the rest of my life to go. :)

Leigh--girlie midtown isn't N. Ga :) I was born in Carrollton and graduated from high school there (Central) went to college in Cleveland. I've lived in LaGrange, Buford and my dad pastors a church in Newnan currently. :) ( that is possibly more than you ever wanted or needed to know -rotflol-)

Supper ended up being Mushroom Porkchops and asparagus. Yum.

I can't recall who was addressing routines. But for me they are a wonderful thing. I'm not anal about it and I allow room for unplanned stuff. But we do have a pretty set schedule around here and things run much smoother when we were on schedule. My boys have quite time from 1-3 every day. My 5 yr old hasn't napped for 2 years but he lays in his bed and reads or looks at magazines and just kind of chills. The are also in bed by 8:30. Which means we start our nighttime routine at about 7-7:15. That way we get in showers, brushing teeth, reading books and prayers etc. The boys also have ''jobs'' they do each day and we have a chore chart and stickers that encourage that. The two older ones help me out every other day. The day they are the ''momma's helper'' they get to help with laundry/cooking etc. That is also the day they tidy/clean the powder room. They just wipe down with clorox wipes and swiffer the floor with a wet swiffer thingy. Its just the right size for them to feel accomplished without feeling overwhelmed. Not to mention my downstairs bath is always tidy :)

As far a clothes (can't remember who mentioned that either) the boys went through a pair of jeans a month year before last. I ended up buying jeans at Old Navy and they lasted the longest. I've also heard of doing the iron on patches (inside) the jeans so that they are reinforced. We buy most of the kids clothes at Target/Old Navy/Walmart/Children's Place (clearance). Someone mentioned Khols and they do have terrific sales. My mom is always racking up on the boys stuff there. :)

With all of that said, it's time to head up stairs and get the boys started toward bedtime. Hope you all had a great day.

Hi Ladies - Just wanted to check in real quick before leaving for work. I have been aweful about posting today..sheesh - too much going on, I was so tired by 3PM that I laid down w/ sydney today! I usually try and get on the computer about then, but oh well! :faint:
I will try better tomorrow. I have stayed OP as far as eating goes today, and pretty much all weekend (with the help of every last flex point I had! ) Anyway, I can't say the same for the exercise part though, ugh...I feel so lifeless lately...TOM is soon approaching,. so that is probably it.
You all are so chatty today, can't beleive that I missed almost a WHOLE thread in one day! I've missed you all today, and hopefully I can post a little tonight, if I am not exhausted after I get home, and get dd in the tub.
I joined Flylady today, too cool. I am going to make it a goal to get my butt in gear tomorrow and organize my planner, and get my schedule down. I need to so bad, I can't stand just "finding' things to do. My ultimate goal would be to plan every meal for my family, but I know that is not an option, maybe just plan out 3 or 4 different meals and just pick one of them, when I am at a loss for lunch, same w. breakfast! We'll see....I'm with Penny, I need to organize my life! and remember to take my vitamins! haha! :)
Well ladies, I better get going, maybe I can make it to chat tonight, we'll see! Are you chatting at moms?.....
Hope everyone had a great day, and that it continue with a relaxing evening! :)

Hunskie, I just started taking Barley Green, I started with 7 a day now I'm taking 10 a day. It's not going to hurt me, it's just veggies, it is an energy booster. I'm pregnant and was having a terrible time getting my energy back. By the way, Welcome. Tell us about yourself.
I'm Crystal, sahm of 3 and of course almost 4. Ages: Alisa 5, Ally 3, and Andrew 19 months. I'm due February 1st. I homeschool and am a Watkins and Avon Representative. I live in Texas.
So it's your turn. Glad you found us and hope you stick around.

Dinner was pretty good. Spryng, that bracelet is too cute.
I'll try to check in later, I'm gonna work on lesson plans. Got two loads of laundry done and kitchen cleaned. Can any of you tell I'm getting my energy back plus some???

Cheri!!! I live in Carrollton now. My older kids go to Central too! We really like it here! You would have really loved the concert today! They did almost every song on the CD, and were very entertaining and took alot of time to minister to the kids there, which I rarely see at the free concerts in the mall.

I am jumping on that WW bandwagon when I can afford the materials. I need a bit more structure and tracking of what I am eating.

I had Garlic Tilapia tonight with broccoli, and it was very good!!! and SOOOOO EASY!! that's always a plus!!

Back in a few, kitchen is needing some attention!
