Four pages already!
We had MORE storms last night. Two big ones went through. A huge tree blew over and fell on our rent trailer next door. Thank goodness it wasn't any taller it would have smashed the trailer but it only got the deck and the cars of the boys who live there. It has the back door blocked ... they had to come out the front door ... they went home to their parents for the night. Hubby will have to try and get it off this afternoon. I'll see if I can get a picture to show you ... it's still pretty rainy out right now so I don't know if I can. We have several trees down in the woods behind our house ... it's a MESS! And we still don't have the trees from last week cleaned up yet, either. I wish SOMEBODY had some of this rain!!! It's KILLING me! :(
Send it to Joanne-it's still raining here but just a little. Maybe going to Cape tomorrow. Mima

That's so great Anagram. Hope everything goes well. Supposed to go to the Capr today-don't feel like riding 4 hours but we do need a day off. Aunt and cousins are down there. I finished the polying and that's as good as it gets. Now for painting trim outside-not yet!!!Mima

I think I had another sleep eating episode cause there is some food missing! I hate it when that happens and I always eat the "bad stuff" that I normally won't touch unless I have figured it in my pts for the day.
Had a bad storm here, no damage here (on our property) but wow did it level some businesses and homes where dH works just down the road from us! So scary...an F4 Kansas type tornado it was!!!!!!!!! No one killed but a lot hurt... The heat index was 110!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Less humid today and I mowed and then off to the store, got lots of fruit but bought some donut holes too! (put them in the freezer)
Candice you are so funny-I just found out that the lady that gives me massage is 76-I am 65 and I thoughty she was way younger than me. She doesa Feldenkraus which I guess keeps your body young. I can't believe it-she works, goes to Art Classes-etc. Mima

Joanne..no donut shop just the grocery store and they were putting fresh baked out!:T :T :T
Prunned and watered some pots got 6000 steps in today. More storms coming, hope not severe again! :hot:
Hi-never went to the Cape -dreaded 5 hours in the car just for a visit when I can see them all in a 45 minute drive. Wow-you should see our yard-bulldozer,excavator, paver-it's going to be nice. Stomache is still in pain-probably stress. Joanne, take zinc lozenges to lessen cold. Son coming tomorrow night and we will see them Sunday. My girlfriend is coming over and we are going to lunch at a tearoom, owned by the leader of TOPS, which I no longer go to. It will be nice to see her. Bye for now. Mima

Don't even remember what "normal" is, Meme. I've finally realized it's something that's always changing. I'm sure you'll enjoy son and family and esp. new baby, Mima. Sorry about the cold, Joanne. Candice, we got a little tornado pretty close and an F3 about 30 miles away. Weather here was just awful up until yesterday. Think today's supposed to be real nice too.
Fell apart yesterday or else had a touch of a bug. Hard to tell difference. Dh so glad to be home. Must give him shots of bloodthinner in tummy for at least a few more days. Another one of those things I'd probably never do for money but - oh what we do for love. I'm trying to think of some little things we can do for fun over the weekend that won't be too strenuous. For me, that is. He talks like he's raring to go - but next minute I look and he's napping. Still having side effects from my new med (Plavix) so think I'm going to talk to dr about it. As soon as I have a chance! Need some exercise really bad, too. I've been on the go a lot but it hasn't been like going to the pool.

Hi. It sounds like we all have one thing in common, and that is the severe weather! Edmonton got bombarded with hail and rain. West Edmonton Mall, the largest mall in the world, had the skylight broken, and tons of water cascading in. They had to dump it all into the arena area. It was closed for a few days. The hail was like snow. I have some pictures so I will post one in a while.
Have been laid up with this darn back of mine, so haven't been doing much at all. Went to the chiro on Monday and it started to feel a little better yesterday. Hope it continues. I did go out yesterday afternoon and got a few groceries, and a new purse.
Mima - I no you will be excited to see your new baby. Have a nice visit.
Candice - "Sleep eating" again!! Better watch out, as that can be dangerous to your health ;) You are keeping your steps pretty even. Good for you. I got a step meter, but it doesn't seem to work on me. My daughter put it on and it worked for her, then I put it on and it says 0000. It is frustrating.
Meme - Glad you are taking some down time. It must feel weird for you to be doing nothing. It is just what the ankle ordered.
Anagram - glad your hubby is home and doing better. What a worry for you. Now, in a few days, after he has rested, you will be trying to keep up to him. Hope you can find the time now to get back to the pool.
Joanne - Gosh, hope you feel better. Summer colds are nasty. My hubby had one three weeks ago, and really felt rotten. Thank goodness I didn't catch it.
I did go sign up at the rec. center, and as usual, as soon as I do something like this, my body doesn't want to cooperate. I think I will go today and do some walking only. Week one is just about done!!!! Everybody have a good day.
Good morning-I am in big trouble-I got a virus on my computer, wiped out my antivirus software, bought a new program and it won't install fully. Hope I don't have to reboot. I did clean up the virus with Stinger. On the plus size, a friend and I went to a tearoom for lunch, run by the leader of TOPS. Wonderful!!!Little sandwiches, tea, a scone which I thought was dessert, but the a small piece of cake and fudge. And she was busy yesterday. I couldn't do that everyday but it was great. Bye for now. Tomorrow, hopefully, I will hold Evan. Mima

Rested the whole day yesterday and then went shopping, got 3 pair of Birkenstock, and Airzona soft foot bed (taupe), a pair of navy outdoor clogs, and a pair of red footprints with a t strap. Now I need some new clothes to wear with them!;) but no money left..that spending spree was over 300 :o dollars! Then got a shirt and tie for DS and a bra for me and then 4 hours in the grocery store, got there at 11pm and got home at 4:30 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another 200 dollars ...I read all the lables and calculate pts on everything so it takes a long time.
Now I off to bed as soon as the dryer stops! :tired:

Candice - you went shopping in the middle of the night? My goodness, I suppose it was less crowded and it sure helps with the "sleep eating" business. Then you washed clothes!!! Good grief woman. You are really screwed up time wise!
Mima - one more day until you get to hold that baby. I guess you are excited. Also, your grand daughter will be so happy to see you, as I know you will be to see her. Have fun.
Here are some pictures from the storm that tore through Edmonton last Sunday. Hail and tons of rain, made it look worse than winter. These are taken on a major freeway through the city.

I hope you soon will feel better.
Good morning. Cannot install my new virus program fully. I will call McAfee tomorrow, My son is in MA-talked to Alison last night-Evan cried on the plane but not all the time. We will see them this afternoon. It's supposed to pour tonight and tomorrow am and I am doing my program tomorrow morning for the kids camp-it's outside. I showed the condo yesterday even though the paper put the ad in the wrong place-the guy drove me nuts-he asked so many questions and couldn't understand my answers, found everything wrong with the condo and then offered a low price-Maybe we should have taken the other offer-it would be over. I hope that couple doesn't call back. And I hope that nice young couple does call back. Oh well-I can hold Evan today. What else matters. Mima
Just saw the other posts-shoes!!!!My favorite!!!

Happy those pictures are unbelievable! I do everything at night, can't stand crowds and noise......but I did not get to bed untill 2pm and only slept 'till 6pm so I am very tired! Hope your back gets better, that's a pain!
Mima..did you get that pedometer yet? I found another old one I had so I have 3 now!
Joanne..I like the rain too gives me a break from the outside work and easier for me to sleep in the daytime with now sun out;)
DS will be here next weekend just for overnight and then back to school...so gotta get some cleaning done on my own. Want to try a new pickle recipe but cukes are not doing so well this year, the garden has been beaten down with the winds here.
Wish I had pictures of that f4 toranado here, it was hudge! maybe I can go and check the local news site and find something?

Candice - 4 hrs. getting groceries. Don't you usually buy the same kinds of things? I would think by now you know how much of what is in whatever you are buying. I couldn't even start to think at that hour of the night, never mind walk and stand for 4 hours straight. That would darn near kill me. I know the stores must be pretty empty by then, and I guess if you have a problem with crowds then that is the time to do stuff. I also can't sleep in the day.
Joanne - hope your cold has left you by now.
Meme - haven't heard much from you. Did you sit down and not get back up again
Mima - today is the day isn't it! You get to hold that precious new baby. enjoy.
Anagram - hope you and hubby are doing well.
Not much to add here. Went to the Farmer's Market yesterday and got fresh veggies and fruit. They just taste sooooo good.
Candice - I walked 7000 steps on Friday and 6000+ yesterday. Now I have to start walking!!!
I bought a Pedometer and it doesn't seem to work; then I got one out of Special K and it works fine.
Well, I got to hold Evan a lot yesterday. He's a little fussy still-but he's a sweetie. It's raining and I am going to that day camp. But that will be done at 1:30 and I will have the rest of the week. The driveway guy took some of his equipment away. Brad called and told him we were having company and a big party. So far 22 people coming but I haven't heard from the others yet. When people ask what they can bring, I immediately accept. Men don't ask. We had a cookout yesterday at DIL's fathr's. and I brought a cake and we sang Happy Birthday to Brad. We will go out tomorrow night. Still have to get my computer fixed-I know someone sent another virus-I am not protected-but I didn't open it. Make sure your virus spoftware is up to date. This is the second time in 4 months I have had problems and it's really because my virus protection was not up to date. Happy Monday Mima
Pedometer story-I got my talking pedometer and Brad was sleeping on the couch and the rooster crowed at 2:30 in the morning!!!Can't clip it on-it's too tight-will try again this am.

Mima..I have my rooster crow at 9:pm to remind me to take my night time meds! We should all keep track of our steps daily to see how active we are...this has really clued me in on just how inacitve I am on bad days.............I use to walk and extra 2 miles a day but my hips are too bad for that now.
Happy....yes I do by the same stuff but always on the lookout for new and low pts products and I shop a differnet store each time and they are always moving stuff around and I can't find what I want. I don't get to the store that often either so I buy alot at one time.....Most of the time my night time is my alert time..if I get daytime sleep that is..........yesterday I woke up at 10 am with a spliting headache.......rested some more and then yardwrok and some cleaning and laundy in now. I'm at 9000 steps right now but the night is still young:D
I don't know if that pedometer works right. I'll put it on today, It seems to count steps when I am sitting still. I thought I fixed my computer-chatted with McAfee twice- but I did a scan and it said my computer wasn't protected. I did a scan and there are no viruses. The saga continues. Brad's birthday today-he is 63 years young- we are going out tonight. My IBS is awful-bloating and pain. So much stress. But I had fun with the kids yesterday. We were talking about what wasn't around when I was young, like the tv-and so on. And the guy is finishing up our driveway. Bye for now, MIma

Yeah, right ... like I could ever sit down and not get back up ... to do that I'd have to die or something! :faint:
I've read through all the posts and had a few good laughs ... but the pictures were awesome. I want a pedometer like Mimas ... especially if it will count my steps while I'm sitting down!!! Now that's the kind to have. Thought I'd die laughing at it crowing while hubby was napping!!! :lol3: :lol3: Hope your computer is over it's virus Mima. :p
Joanne, hope your cold is better and hope Anagram's hubby is still doing good and you were able to get in some fun time.
As for Candice ... no hope for you girl. You just need to take 2 or 3 sleeping pills and go to bed about 11 at night and get up at 7 or 8 like normal people for a few months and get your days and nights straightened out. Do your shopping over the internet or at a smaller, less populated store or something or get up really early some Wednesday morning about 5 or 6 a.m. and go shopping. That would take care of your night shopping, your day and night mix up and your sleep eating all. (Then all you'd have to worry about is your drug habit!!!)
As for me - I've been trying to take one day at a time but last weekend about 3 of them ganged up on me at once. Then I decided to take the next two weeks off so I called all my piano students and canceled lessons and then my daughter decided I didn't need any time off so she called and said she needed me to keep Ross for the next two weeks. Can't win for losing! Also, my son went on vacation this week and left his 6 months old black lab here ... "she won't be any trouble at all Mom, I'll bring her house and chain her out back and Dad can feed her in the mornings. You won't even know she's there." Well... she got loose today and I KNEW SHE WAS HERE!!! I had to get her up on the deck, go find her collar she had slipped out of and get it back on her (she's totally psycho!) Then she got through the slates in the deck and got out again so I had to figure out how she got off the chain and get her back on that ... she was all over me, scratched me in two places and almost tripped me. I turned Sami (my golden) loose and she helped me quite a bit ... kept the lab off me. The lab is only 6 months old but she's really big and strong. She could knock me down with no problem. Oh yes, son, I KNEW she was here!!! We have had our golden for 4 years and gone out of town 2 or 3 times a year and NEVER asked either of our children to keep her. And before that we had a poodle for 13 years and never asked them to keep her either. (And they've never volunteered!) We board our pets. What's up with kids anyway???

Meme- My cold is much better. We have been house bound for 4 days with the rain. I am not complaining because I love it. Ofcourse we are on high ground so we didn't have a flooding problem. A lot of people in this area did though.
Go buy a choker chain and put on that dog..My son has a black lab. He has left him with us many times since he has had him. Another thing. If he is aggressive like my sons was He will probably have to be nutered. I had to be just as loud and mean as he was, just once. I let him know who was incharged. I told my son fix him or keep him yourself. He was fixed the next week. But the choker chain is still used. He minds me better than he does anyone. As a matter of fact he watches out for me more going down the steps than anyone else..Now he is getting old and my son lives in a upstairs house(just for a few month). My son carrys him up and down those steps 4 times a day..He has never been a outside dog..I always used kennals when I went away too or took our dog with us..We no longer have a pet.Kids think we are going to be there for anything that is needed, children or pets, forever!!!
Candice - Meme has it right... Change your sleeping habits.. Going shopping in the middle of the night is just not safe.
Mima- I bet you are really enjoying that G/baby... I often wish for more babies in our family..
Anagram- I hope the hubby is getting stronger fast,

Hard to have a female nutered! :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: She isn't aggressive ... just plain PSYCHO! Now she's broken her collar completely in two and hubby has had to go all the way to town to buy her another one!!! I heard him mumbling something like this as he went out the door ... "Anybody stupid enough to buy a dog like THAT a collar with a PLASTIC buckle has got to be ... " then the door SLAMMED! Sure would like to have heard the rest of that sentence! ;)

Meme..that dog needs drugs! No kidding, some animals just like people need to be on prozac or something....we had a cat with severe anxiety and was on meds, we still have her but keep her in a room all by herslef and she is fine with no meds...that was the options they gave us to calm her down, a comfy cozy small room all to herself! Hummmm, maybe that's what we all need!;)
As for the sleeping thing, I got off schedule when DH got his sleeping machine cause I was evidently keeping him awake so I have to sleep when he not in the bed cause we only have one bed that is comfy enough for me to sleep in. Anyway I am a night person...much more mentally aleart in the evening hours. If I had enough light outside I would be gardening all night long:) Lots of times I'm out there with a flash light!
Mima....my pedometer seemed like it counted alot too but I used it on the TM and outside and it is pretty accurate. Of course it counts when I take my pants down too, for the potty you know........ :o :o :o 6000 today. I have 3 pedometers now and like the talking one the best:D
Hi-it was the middle of the night when that alarm went off. ok , I'll try it again today. They are coming tomorrow to stay in the camper-son-and Al is going to be in the house to sleep. So many stairs. I haven't held him since last week-Evan. went out last night for Brad;s birthday-we had a 50$ gift certificate left from our wedding and we still pd 35 more-but it was wonderful. I had the mixed grille-steak, duck, and shrimp. huge salad. WE are having the leftovers for dinner. Labs are NUTS. But loveable. I still have scars on my arm when I took care of my son's lab for 2 years when Bobby was in school. Now the poor dog is blind. Bobby says he still runs to the window when he pulls up. But we had a choke chain!!!!!!They are very stubborn. Oh yeah-I still have problems with my ankle from when I fell down going outside to get the dog-twisted the run around my legs. Bye for now. Mima

Took a half hour walk there (to the bathrooms and back to our spot) and basically sat there 3 and a half hours and communed with nature (well, I read through two magazines too). Very relaxing. Busy day tomorrow and dh is planning to go golfing (!!!!) I'm planning to go to the pool and hopefully relax a bit more. Glad you're getting some rest, Anagram. I layed back down for an hour this morning but that's all Ross would let me by with. Then I had to go to town and the rest of the day was a total wash out. Had to do a lot of running around and didn't get a whole lot accomplished. I hate days like that! Then had to pick hubby up at the mechanics where he left the truck ... then take him back to get it and on to church and then out to eat with friends.
Tried again to get a family to take the dog off my son's hands ... they're thinking about it. I told them if it was me I wouldn't have the psycho dog but the man just laughed and said what did I expect ... she's a LAB! I said, I'll just keep my golden ... they're a lot calmer and do what you tell them! ;)

Meme, you and Sammy look great!
Mima...when did your hurt your ankle? Dinner sounded great, can't believe you still had a gift certificate left! I be Brad would ot mind if that rooter crowed every time you wanted sex in the middle of the night!
Anna..hope you got some rest and did I miss something? What are you on antibiotics for??????
Ok....cleaned out the bedroom drawers(found my sexy nighties but am not telling DH!);) this morning before I went to bed, then got up watered, got supper, mowed, brushed the cats swept the cats room and now laundry. Just at 5000 steps but it may be more since I take off my pedometer when I mow. Stomach bloated hate that feeling..Mima knows..don't ya!
I know about the stomache-it's getting better. I am so upset-had a senior moment and ran over the d---- septic system cover with my car and have a huge dent in my front bumper. Brad was not too happy. and I'm not either. Who should I blame-driveway guy because he's not done and we have to park on the grass-Brad, because he keeps saying he's going to replace the covers and make them flat. I know what to blame-stress. The funny thing is that I just took off a bunch of debris left there when I ran over it last year but only wiped out the planter. Can't see it when you are driving=just have to know it's there. Mike is coming this afternoon . Told him that they could stay in the house and we could stay in camper. He's thinking about it-just think it would be easier with Evan, Resting by the pool sounds nicxe. That dog is so cute Meme but I know what they are like. Funny lab story-one morning I was getting ready for work and looking for one of my shoes. I was talking to the dog-who used to ruin all my shoes-showed him the shoe-he wanted to go outside and he came back with my other shoe!!!! It was in the bushes in front of the house. I wonder who put it there. Ha!!! Another time he brought home a package of rolls in cellophane and then a little while later brought another package. I had to stop letting him run because he scared the walkers-on man was going to stone him and reported me. But now he's blind. And only 7 years old. Have fun Meme. Glad you are feeling better Joanne. Feel better Anagram. Stay home Meme. Mima Go to bed Candice !!!!Ok tell me to stay in the house.

Meme- That Lab might settle down after someone fixs her.. They are always wild at that age..We had a dog cage so when my sons lab got too bad we just put him in for awhile.. Ofcourse he locked him in his back room porch and went to work. When he came home the dog had eatten the blinds. There wasn't a piece larger than 1 inch. Then he left him in the house one day and he shredded to couch pillows. The cage works better. They are a lot of work till about a year...They have to know who is in charge...

Joanne...I know what you mean by hard to stay on program! The first two years it was pretty easy for me then I started doing my baking again which I gave up when I started WW. Now I fight everyday to not gain and still have not lost my Christmas weight, seem to lose the same 3 pounds over and over again! I do not like my clothes tight on my waist even though I fill out my bras and pants better with a few more pounds on me!
Just got back form the local store and made it home without any donuts even though they were putting the hot ones out! :smug: Watered and weeded the garden area and it was so hot and humid I wanted to roll in the mud! I had my hands in the cool cool mud pulling weeds and it felt so good! No wonder pigs like it!:D Not sure what I am making for DS for supper Saturday night......our other son has to work so just the 3 off us. Want to make a new WW recipe for a banana peach smoothie recipe but the directions are unclear. Here is the url for the recipe http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/rcp/index.aspx?recipeId=65091
Mima....anyone could have done that...I would be mad at myself too but I can see me doing it...I hit a concrete post with the gauge wheel on the mower last week and it really bent it almost rubbing the tire...DH was very unhappy with me!
Well-they are all here so I can't think about my dent. We slept in the camper-gave them the house-and it really worked out well-we live in the camper in FL so...Jill, Alison and I are going to the Tea Room for lunch. And Evan is staying home with his Daddy. That baby is sooooooo cute-he likes tv and Sesame St. And we have a 60inch screen. Having about 40 people tomorrow. Yikes!!!!And it's supposed to rain but Brad is putting up a tarp. And we have a huge livib=ng room. The dog is so funny-he keeps licking everyone. Driveway done. It's awesome. Bye for now-Mima

Mima Sorry about your car ... the dog I'm holding in the picture (or half holding ... she's nearly as big as I am) is not the lab I've been talking about ... that's MY dog ... Sami. She's a golden retriever and she's as gentle as a lamb. I wouldn't take anything for her ... she's a sweetheart! #1 Son finally came and got the Psycho Dog yesterday evening - thank goodness!!! Joanne ... I don't know if they are going to have her fixed or not ... or even if they are going to keep her ... she's so nuts!
40 people, a dog and rain ... can't imagine that combination right now the way I've been feeling!
Staying on program? ... What program? :p I HATE programs!!! They never did work for me. I've tried almost every program out there and some of them worked for a few weeks and then I either stopped losing or I started gaining back a few pounds no matter how 'good' I was. I've spent hundreds (probably thousands over the years) of dollars and no telling how much time 'counting' and always wound up gaining back everything I lost. It all boils down to - "If you eat more food than the amount of energy you use you will have excess weight on your body." I think once we get that concept into our brains and just REALIZE that, we have practically won the battle of the bulge. And ... I think most of us KNOW how much food we are putting into our bodies without having to count it out, measure it and weigh it. I'm 57 and I've counted and measured and weighed my fair share of food - enough that I can practically look at a plate of food and tell you whether it's enough or too much for me to eat. Since I stopped "dieting", I've lost more weight than I've ever lost on any diet I've ever been on and I eat pretty much whatever I want ... just not nearly as much as I used to eat.
Candice ... I thought that pie recipe looked good ... what was wrong with it?
According to the directions you just: Slice a banana into the pie crust, Mix the pudding, Puree the peach and stir into the pudding and pour that over the sliced banana, chill and then put slices of peach and nutmeg on the top. I may make that this weekend but I think I'll use sugar free, instant pudding since hubby is diabetic... yummmmmm! (you better get rid of those peachy nighties!!!)

That pie sounds delicious. Mima, are you planning a week in bed after all this activity?
I had TWO naps this afternoon and am feeling somewhat less stressed. Dh played golf yesterday and plans to go again on Monday. Must have given him supercharged blood this time.
Heading down to babysit over the weekend and then again the next. Will need all the rest I can get again next week ;-)
Well, it's still raining but it may clear a bit-I am going to get my hair cut at 8:30 and then come back to cook a bit. Brad is the one that is so stressed-he worked all day to clean the yard-his nephew didn't show up til late but they got a lot done, just didn't finish. Then we had to shop-I should have asked Mike to go with me-why didn't I? Evan was up half the night-but I was out in the camper. We had thje lab fixed but it didn't make any difference, sorry to say. Went to the tearoom for lunch with Jill and Al-it was good. Another woman from TOPS was helping out in the kitchen. Glad you got some rest Anagram. We will have 3 days to rest after they leave and then we go to a mission conference. And then I go to work for 4 days-then 3 and then the missionaries will be here. Don't quite see any rest til the middle of August. Bye for now Mima

Mima - glad you are enjoying the baby. Tea sounded nice. Hope your party goes off well today and that the rain holds off.
Anagram - glad hubby is doing well. ENjoy looking after those grandkids.
Joanne - hope you are feeling well.
Meme - busy as ever. Too bad your kids can't see how tired you are and how much pain you are in. They expect waaaaay to much out of you. You may look younger than you are, but your body is defeating you. They need to realize this. It takes years for kids to see their parents as getting older. It is the staminia that leaves, unfortunatley. As they say "The mind is willing but the body is weak". It is so true.
Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Just checking in to say Hello and I can see that you all had a pretty good weekend. Not much going on here. I am trying to lose a few more pounds. I am doing the South Beach and have dropped a pound already this week. I just like some room to be comfortable if I want to eat something extra or different. We are again looking for rain. My yard drys out really fast..It helps to cool things off some too. Sometimes ,It just steams after a rain.
My son is going on a cruise this week. I get his dog.. He is too old to be a problem.. Next week I am going to see my daughter for a few days.. I am looking forward to that..
Bye for now...Joanne

Joanne, are you starting in the phase one or phase 2? (if it even does go in phases) al I know is I cannot go without my fruit..I eat a lot of it!
Hi guys-I will have to definitely go back on a diet when everyone leaves. I was very nervous about taking care of Evan all day so we all went to the beach and I helped out there. It was a wonderful day!!! Had fried clams and we are going out again tonight. They are leaving in the morning. Bye for now Mima

Candice- I am trying to do phase 1..I did it before and lost 14 lbs.. I too love my fruit. I ate a peach yesterday and half banana this morning. Mainly because I take lasix. I am under goal and just want a safe area..If there is such a thing..
Mima- Fried Clams! Is there any other way to fix them? I try to use a little oil as possible when I make them.. I need to find some other ways.I might broil some this week.
It is hot here in Fl. Steamy outside. Not a whole lot gets done outside now.. My yard will never be the picture perfect yard..

Lots more rain and lots more pain. Bad thunder storms Sunday ... poured yesterday and dark today, may get more. Things are 'moldy' here! We're having spring, summer and fall combined! I hate it!!!
I have Ross again this week. Will have Jenna 2 days next week. She starts Kindergarten. I'll have to go pick her up at 11:30 two days. Then the next week she only goes 1/2 day all week so I'll have to go get her everyday. Then she'll be going all day after that. I still can't believe my last baby will be going off to school! :( (Sami will be 5 next year ... wonder if they take goldens ...) ;)

Joanne.....that's why I went under goal to have a safe zone but I knew it was there and just ate too many cookies so now I am a few over! Wish we did not have to struggle with every bite to at goal..but that is life for some of us I guess. I got some things repotted and watered today and then off tothe dentist for a check up...have to go back, need one tiny litttle filling! Yuck..I hate the drill!
Mima.....I would be nervous around a baby too, always afraid I will do something wrorg or not react quick enough.
Meme.....Mary took her little lamb too shcool! Storms missed us again and it is ncie and cool but warmeing up this week with humidity...............Oh joy:D
Do you know the original Mary who took her lamb to school lived not too far away from here-2 towns over. That was my first order of fried clams in about 20 years. Went out last night and had seafood casserole but no dessert except for a bite or 2 of Brad's . Everyone leaving this am-gotta go make Al some pancakes. Mima

Hi there ladies.
Mima - So today you get back to normal. I love company, but I also love to get back to my routine. I remember when Ashley was a baby, and I hadn't really had one around for 23 years - gosh it was a BIT scary. However, I soon picked it up again
Candice - I hurt Candice!! I don't think I should be walking that many steps in a day. My lower back is just not up to it, but I will keep slogging away. Did over 8000 yesterday and was awake most of the night, even after taking some pain killers. It is the arthritis that was screaming at me.
Meme - so you are back to babysitting. Hope you are feeling better. The weather seems to be more volitile everywhere this year.
Joanne - good for you back on South Beach. Hope it is working well for you.
Anagram - hope you and hubby are doing well. How did the weekend go with the grandkids?
Not doing much today. I don't care if I don't walk 100 steps. Nothing feels like moving anyway
