I swim regularly. In the past, I did water aerobics but recently began doing a lot more lap swimming. Lap swimming is rather boring. But I have found that I enjoy it.
I researched and found a waterproof case for a CD/tape/mp3 player, with waterproof headphones. This was wonderful, because I love music. I was given an mp3 Player for my birthday last month, and immediately purchased the waterproof kit (one PVC bag, clamp set, waterproof earphones). I've followed the instructions to the letter: I perform the air-leak test before I enter the pool each time, but the bag has still leaked twice.
Does anybody have any other solutions to the problem? I want to be able to listen to music while I swim laps. I've seen a waterproof mp3 player, but it is over $200 and smaller than most of the ones selling now. The waterproof radios do not work very well (the small ones that clamp to goggles), and while another swimmer friend has seen a waterproof CD player, I'm sure that is out of my price range as well.
I have emailed the company, but no doubt they'll simply want to exchange the bag or will tell me that that is the risk I take when using the product.
