Okay, I saw the title to this thread and thought it was about some new way to get your teeth cleaner and whiter.

Oooops.

Ellis-Okay, but only because you said my butt was little!!!!! (Nice to hear even if it is a BLATANT LIE!!!)

Mauvais-I've missed all of you too!! Things have been nutsy around here, and I can use more of the FUN nuttiness!!

Squeak-I'M BACK!!! BREAK OUT THE MARGARITAS!!!!

Tiki-NOPE, but I DID go to the dentist today!!!

YARG- took me a while to catch up on all I have missed! You have been a busy group of women!! I'll catch you up on my stuff: Geoff fainted at school, but for a while we thought it might have been an absence seizure (Clark has a seizure disorder.) He ALSO has a hernia, but it doesn't need to be operated on...he was probably born with it. His band is "releasing" a CD at the end of July, once he gets back from Costa Rica. Ian is GLAD to be out of middle school (you all know how much he was being teased), and he, my mom and I are going to England this summer to visit our relatives. My grandmother just turned 100!!! Clark has been having back problems because he wanted to see if he could still lift Geoff (IS HE BRILLIANT OR WHAT?!?!?) He IS, however, enjoying having his first summer off since he was a teenager. It sure is nice being a FULL TIMER!! I have been running around with my head cut off and not getting enough work done in addition. For the first time in my life (snicker) the house is a COMPLETE MESS!!!

GOOD TO BE BACK!!!!

Is that like, satire... "... for the first time... the house is a complete mess..."

Listen, your life is always nutsy. Stop making excuses or I'll brain you one.
Hugs to you and Clark and Geoff and little Ian.
Your grandmother must be AMAZING!! I've already told a select group of friends that if they ever see me in a walker or one of those little battery-run cars, they are to press a pillow firmly over my face and put me out of my misery. (hmmm... I'm sure there are a few people on this forum who would like to do that NOW! )

Mauvais-Leaving July 13th...CAN'T WAIT!!! Wish I hadn't gained the weight back though. Not like I had lost all THAT much to begin with!!!

Ellis-I'M INSULTED!!! MY HOUSE IS ALWAYS IMMACULATE!! AND I'M STILL A VIRGIN.
(Hey, when I was taking karate another woman and I were talking about senior karate, and learning to use canes and walkers as weapons!! As the Pythons used to say, "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life!!")

Oh, hey! A cane or walker as a weapon! Now THAT I could get into!

Hey, girls, a friend and I saw Fahrenheit 9/11 the other night. Very good. Everyone should see it. The trouble is, the people who will go to see it are open-minded, and possibly already believe some of what Moore has to say.
The other night on CBC, some woman was putting Moore and the movie down and calling it propaganda. And she hadn't even seen the movie!! TYPICAL!!!

I always find it interesting that the people who denounce movies usually haven't even seen them

i.e Harry Potter movies (and the books too), The Passion of the Christ and now Farenheit/911.

Actually a movie that I was surprised did not generate an uproar was Stigmata - it wasn't very flattering towards the Catholic Church at all.

Sometimes I think certain groups create a big fuss to try to stop people from learning the truth about things or from seeing another point of view other than there own. Hmm........reminds me of those book burning parties and record smashing that they did in the 80's

My dad and I were just discussing this the other week and I was commenting on how "they" (whoever that is ) can't do that as much as they used to because of the internet and that they can't stop people from speaking their minds and posting articles and information all over the place.

Keeping in mind though that you can't believe everything you read

Royal Oak? That's near my neck of the woods.

I said I was going to see 9/11 this weekend but instead I catered to my much sillier side and saw Dodgeball instead. two words. DAMN FUNNY!
