How's everyone's weekend?

Well, that's it. I've tossed in the towel and decided I'm going to call my weight 156 from here on out. 154 keeps bouncing out of my grasp- but that's all my fault!

My weekend was good- camping was fun. We got in a bit of hiking, a bit of fishing, and a bunch of junk food :P Not the Smores, but just chips, cookies, etc, etc.

I'm readjusting my goal for next month to be more realistic. Since I'm calling my weight at 156, I want to be 146 by July 11th. That's just a little over 2 pounds a week. Think I can do it? I know I can- if I just stick with it!

Well, how is everyone else?

How's everyone's Monday morning going? Mine is here :P That sums it up!

I know you can do it too Trish! I'll keep you inline

My weekend was great and my Monday is half over as far as work goes so that is a bonus! I went to the ball game on Saturday and the RedSox lost, but that's okay because I go to not only take Tim to see his Dodger play, but to see them kick ***! He was happy so that made me happy! :D Then yesterday I finally did my "199 reward" and went for a trail ride and now my butt hurts :dizzy: It was worth it to get the new experience though ;) My horse's name was Cederic and he was very good, so even this chicken was comfartable with him... hehe... The best thing about thing weekend was that I got a new bathing suit and new exercise pants.... The bathing suit top is a size 12! (It's a tankini, so the two pieces touch... and I will be wearing shorts anyways.) Even better than that is a usually buy XL pants and my workout ants have been getting loose, so I tried on a L and thought I was going crazy thinking they were loose, so I asked Tim and he agreed... So I ending up buying a size M... That's right MEDIUM! I was very excited! :D

Awesome! Good going Trish! I went to the gym last night and did my pilates for my thighs (for only the 2nd time since I bought the tape  )

I posted some pictures if you want to take a look:My Member Gallery (http://www.3fatchicks.com/member-gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=28848)

Your pics are soooo cute!! That little girl in her dress is a doll! You are looking really good these days :D

JEO1982
06-15-2004, 04:12 PM
Wow thanks Trish! That little girl would be my niece Shaelyn and she is even more adorable in person! A complete ham she is at 4 months old even!

I've been trying to get my courage up to try on a size 12 pants since I can slide my arm inside my 14s all the way to my knee... But I'm afraid they won't fit and I will be disappointed.... :dizzy:

Anywho, I hope your Tuesday is going well...It's almost time for me to leave so I'm excited! ;)

Smiling_wolf

My Tuesday went relatively well! I worked out for an HOUR again- including weights, so that's 20 extra minutes for me :) We went to see 'Garfield' tonight. Um, as much as I love Jim Davis, the creator, and Garfield in general- the movie was pretty bad :P

Tomorrow, we are going to see a mortgage broker (I think that's what they are called) to see if they can finance us for a house. Then on Friday, my wallaby is going to the vet and then we are shipping him to a friend in Wisconsin- she has a girl wallaby and would like babies- and she is going to keep him until we get into a new house and build a nice big run for him outside :) So as sad as I might be to see him go, I'm really excited for him! He'll have so much fun in Wisconsin- my friend has a lot of land and room for him to run and play in the sun :) He's been a house wallaby so far so I think he'll really eat up being outside!

Well I gotta shower :P TTYL!

Look at you go! An hour two days in a row!! I am impressed! Keep it up!

:goodluck: with the mortgage broker! I hope you get a loan and find a house quickly so you can get your wallaby home again, though I'm sure he'll have fun in Wisconsin! ;)

I hope you are having a good Wednesday! I'll be sending happy thoughts for a good trip to your wallaby :goodvibes

I was wondering if you'd be willing to do me a small/HUGE favor... Tim is collecting the state quarters and it is very difficult to get the "D" quarters (Denver mint)... I was wondering if you'd be willing to get a few rolls of quarters and send them to us if I sent you money first... It would totally make Tim's life! ( I wish I was kidding, but I'm not  )

If you aren't comfortable with that, it's fine, but I had to ask since his birthday is next month ;)

Um, I live in Nevada- do they have them here? LOL! If they do, sure! Or are you confusing me with someone else? ;)

How's your Thursday going? It's MY Friday! Waahooo! I'm taking tomorrow off because our SSN office changed their way of changing your SS card (remember, I was married in April)- they used to accept marriage certificates as proof of change of name, but NOW they want the marriage certificate AND a driver's license. Mind you- you have to mail the ORIGINAL. Well, I'm not driving around without my driver's license, thank you very much! So we are going down to the office tomorrow to get my SS card changed. Then Jynx's appointment is in the afternoon and we have to drop him off for his flight at 8 PM. So just a bit busy tomorrow. If possible, I'd like to get my driver's license changed too. We'll see if I have the time :P

I ate real well yesterday until dinner. We went to a German restaurant because my Uncle is in town. I grew up in Germany since my dad was Air Force (recently retired after 20 years). So I LOVE German food! This was a new place and it was just okay.

Anyways, I'm maintaining at 156, so if I just get my *** in gear, I know I can drop! Look at you- you're doing SO well! And I never realized how TALL you are- that's why you look so marvelous in your pictures! I'm only 5' 5" so I tend to be more round :( SIGH!

Heh! Well, today's a new day and I'm going to kick butt today!

JEO1982
06-17-2004, 10:17 AM
I know that you live in Nevada, but there are only two mints... One in Denver and one in Pennsylvania... Since we are closer to the PA mint, 95+% of the quarters here are are "P" quarters.... Since you live closest to Denver, most of the quarters near you should be "D" quarters, one would think...

Ooooo, a day off! That rocks even though you have other stuff to do... I think that is the stupidest thing in the owrld for them to want you to mail your ORIGINAL license.... If you get pulled over and you don't have your license, you only have 24 hours to produce it at the police station...That is state government for you though :p

Goodluck with the vet trip and sending your wallaby off to his temporary home... Try not to cry too much... he will be coming back ;)

BTW, how did it go with the mortgage broker?

Smiling_wolf
06-17-2004, 07:02 PM
Well, she's crunching numbers and calling banks- so she said to give us a few days. My DH and I both have evil exes that basically screwed our credit, but the broker seemed hopeful she could find us financing. I sure hope so! We don't need a HUGE place- just our OWN place right now!

Gotcha on the quarters :) Sure- PM me with what you need or email me!

Tonight, my DH is going to cook lemon chicken (bake it). YUMMM!

06-18-2004, 10:00 PM
I Just wanted to let you know that I put the check in the mail. I made it out for $20.00 and sent you a Fed-Ex envelope that is prepaid so I didn't have to worry about it costing more than $5.00 to ship... Thanks again! :D

Ooh, that's cool since the Fedex guy picks up at my work so I'll just give it to him! Yay!

How's it going? I just worked out for my hour- did our chores for the day. The SS office SUCKED- we were there 15 minutes after it OPENED and ended up waiting two HOURS just to hand this guy my paperwork and not even get my new SS card! GRRR! Well, at least it's done! Then Jynx's appointment went well too :) So tomorrow we'll be up at 4:30 AM to get him to Delta Air Cargo by 5:30 AM- ugh!

JEO1982
06-20-2004, 10:31 AM
I know what you mean about the SS Office... I had to sit there for ages to get my card replaced and then I had to wait for weeks for it to come in the mail... UGH! Definitely not a fun time!

I hope that everything went well with Jynx, and htat he had a safe flight!

Enjoy Father's Day with your DH! Are you and the kids doing anything special for him? We are having a cook-out at my mom's house for my 'Dad' :D Speaking of which I need to get ready....I'll check in later!

Smiling_wolf
06-21-2004, 12:44 PM
Happy Monday! Well, my DH received a 21 inch computer monitor, an Xbox game, and we took him out to lunch and dinner for Father's Day. I really need to refind my motivation- my goal is DEAD for July 11th! I lost 11 pounds so well, but now I'm sucking :( SIGH!

JEO1982
06-21-2004, 02:45 PM
Wow... that sounds like a nice Father's Day! I went in with my mom and got my dad a small tv for their bedroom, and I didn't have to get Tim anything because he is not a dad YET... (at least that we know of :lol3: JK, he wasn't the type to sleep around)

ANYWHO....Don't get discouraged! Try shaking up your diet some or upping the workouts more often... You hear that? It's the sound of the wagon slowing down so you don't fall off! So adjust your position and tighten your grip and we'll be speeding along again!! ;)

Smiling_wolf
06-21-2004, 05:21 PM
Awww, thanks for the encouragement! I received your envelope today so hopefully I can convince my husband to go pick up your quarters tomorrow :)

AWESOME!!! I can't wait to surprise Tim with those quarters! He doesn't even know I sent you money, so it is going to make his life! :D Thank you soo much!!!!

06-21-2004, 09:28 PM
You are very welcome! How was your work out today? I just finished mine *YAWN* and now need to go study a chapter in my math book. The good news about this class is that the final is open book and it's mostly just formulas, ratios, and some medical jargon that I 'kinda' already know from when I was a vet tech :)

JEO1982
06-23-2004, 02:34 PM
Sorry that it took me until now to get back to you, but I have been fighting a computer virus here at work and I wasn't home last night to go online... I was out shopping for a dress for Saturday... Did I tell you about that awkwardness? I am going with Tim to his ex-girlfriend's brother's wedding :ugh: I am hoping to be able to keep to myself, but I had to look good in case I'm not allowed to, ya know? ;)

How is the whole school thing going for you? Making life just hectic?

My workouts have been good... I've gone to Curves twice and done pilates for my thighs once... Today will be Curves and Water Aerobics and if i'm uber-ambitious, the pilates thing too.... I don't know that THAT will ever happen, but we'll see...

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi Jenn!

Well, I'm back on the wagon as of TODAY. I haven't stopped exercising, but I did have a problem with NOT junking out. Today, I had a Nutrigrain bar for breakfast, a Lean Cuisine for lunch, and a small piece of chocolate cake for a snack. Yes- I know- chocolate cake isn't REALLY a good snack, but it was 200 calories and I'm not going to snack tonight while at home...

That seems to be my killer time. When I'm at home. And the FUNNY thing is- we don't even really HAVE any junkfood at home. But I'll make junk food if I have to- I'll snack on cereal, bread, etc, etc, when I'm hungry instead of getting a piece of fruit. BAD, I know!

Anyways, I'm back in the game now :) I'm keeping my cals around 1500-1600 from now on though because 1200 makes me just want to over-indulge!

JEO1982
06-24-2004, 08:09 PM
Good for you! Stay at 1500-1600 calories if it make you staying on track easier.... Do what is right for you!

Btw, I should have that by Monday afternoon. Thanks again!!

JEO1982
06-28-2004, 09:00 AM
Good morning Miss Trish! I forgot to tell you I got those quarters before I left for my doctor's appointment on Friday afternoon! :D Tim was very happy, thank you so much!

I wanted to get online this weekend to tell you thanks and to tell you about what I saw at the gym... namely the number I saw on the scale... I saw 189.75# on Saturday morning... I was very excited by that... I broke into the 180's!! :D Just barely, but it still counts! ;)

How was your weekend?

Smiling_wolf
06-28-2004, 10:29 AM
OMG! Bravo! Bravo!!!

My weekend was good- AF is playing games with me. I'm on CD 31- no AF, but spotting :P Sorry, TMI, I know!

Smiling_wolf
06-29-2004, 01:54 PM
How's your day going? Mine is going SLOW! But that's okay! Worked out yesterday and AF showed up as well :P I think changing my workout to an hour tricked her and that's why she was delayed- witch!

Hope Tuesday is going good for you!

JEO1982
06-29-2004, 08:13 PM
My Tuesday was slow too! But it's just about over and my Tim should be home any time now! :D

I know what you mean about AF being a witch... My TOM is not supposed to be until next Thursday and yet she is already starting to make her presence known... I am going to be sooo aggravated if I have to deal with spotting for two weeks and then get my full fledged visit from AF anyways!

Well, I didn't work out last night- we went house hunting :S We were out until 9 PM!!! Anyways, just wanted to check in with ya :)

Smiling_wolf
07-01-2004, 09:55 AM
Morning Everyone :) I'm SO TIRED. We've been looking at houses every SINGLE NIGHT and it's exhausting. HA! And we've only done it two nights in a row!

How is everyone else doing?

JEO1982
07-01-2004, 02:19 PM
Tim and I are going to view a condo tomorrow night at 6PM and he waiting for a mortgage to call him back to let him know what he can do :crossed: I hope he gets it... it would be a much nicer situation for him!

:goodluck: with your house hunt! Are you just driving around looking for properties to get showings at or have you just had a bunch of viewing? I think this whole thing is kinda of fun! Especially since Tim wants me to move in completely if he gets it (right now most of my stuff is at my mother's or in storage because he's place is so small)....

I'm all excited to see this condo tomorrow though, more than him I think :^:

Smiling_wolf
07-02-2004, 01:43 PM
The house hunting can be frustrating. We've put in three bids as of right now and are waiting on the answer on the third bid.

The first bid- the house was sold before we put in our bid.

The second bid- the seller has yet to meet with my realtor so it hasn't officially been put in.

The third bid- we should have received an answer last night, but the man wasn't in until this morning and this morning- our realtor is in a meeting. AARGH!

It's irritating!

Smiling_wolf
07-05-2004, 09:52 PM
Bump up from the holidays!

How was everyone's 4th? Mine was good, but tiresome- we are still house hunting which has seriously impeded my want to do ANYTHING else. UGH :P

What about you?

JEO1982
07-11-2004, 03:02 PM
Sorry Miss Trish! I didn't get to post to you before I left telling you I'd be gone for the week! I went to NH with Tim and my parents. It was fun! I got a tattoo! :o It says "strong" in Chinese on the back of my right hip...I think something possessed me LOL...

I hope your week went well and that the house hunting is going better!

JEO1982
07-15-2004, 08:27 AM
Well I haven't heard from you this week yet, so I hope you are out having fun at least, maybe on vacation yourself! ;)
