Week of ***June 6, 2004***
Good Morning Ladies,
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It's rainy and yucky here. I'm SO tired of rain. It has rained everyday for the past month. We are going to get all moldy from the dampness.
We are going to see the Wiggles in August!! I got the tickets today. Boy, Ticketmaster really gets you on the handling fees. For three tickets it ended up being $25 in extra charges.
Here is a pic of Alex riding his tricycle:

Hi All,
Karen, Where are the Wiggles going to be?? I want to take Peter soo bad!!
Rabbit, Great pics! RR's right, you're the smallest one there!
I've had it with the rain. Yesterday we went to a picnic/grad party in PA and it was horrible!! It was outside in a state park, and the pavillion was small! The bathroom was a looong walk, I don't think I'd be lying if I said close to a half mile!! We got horribly lost getting there, so we were all starving and cranky, except Peter, who slept most of the way there. It was nice to see everyone, but with Peter, it was not good, because he wanted to run around and go play by the lake. He was soaked, I took him to the car to change him and his poor socks and feet were soaking wet! I just wanted to stay in the car with the heat on with him, but we suffered. DH felt like he was getting sick when we got him, he twisted his back chasing Peter, so he was miserable. FIL took back roads home, and they were twisty turny, so I was nauseas by the time we got home...just a bad experience.
I hope this is not going to be another summer of rain every freaking weekend. Hope everyone else is having a better weekend!

Happy Sunday all...............................
It was raining here this morning and now the sun has finally come out. It seemed like it rained all week last week and I am like Karen & Lauren, tired of it.
Been doing pretty good with eating. I have been getting in more of my water lately, which is always good. Now if I could just get my butt out walking or something.
Rabbit: Nice pictures, and yes you look like the smallest one there. Way to go!
Lauren: Hope today is a better day for you and the family
Karen: Cute picture of Alex!
RR: Hello................Hope you had fun shopping yesterday. Sounds like a good deal to me.
My Mom is back in hospital again and might be going to a nursing home from there. She is just so sick and very weak and is starting to require more help, and so the doctors feel this would be best for her. My Dad has tried his hardest to handle this burden and take care of her, but it is very hard on him and is taking a toll on his health too. The doctors are going to get with my Dad and discuss further and see what would be best. It's sad to see your parents have to go thru something like this. We are still planning on going Father's Day weekend to visit her. Please keep them both in your prayers.
Hope you all have a good Monday. I have got to figure our paint out for the house. What we originally ordered turned out awful, and so now I am trying to look for something else. I had wanted something warm, kinda like a golden tan color, but it turned out looking like mustard. So I think we are going to stick with the tan or beige colors, and nothing bold. I have looked at so many samples that they are all starting to look alike.
Hello to anyone I missed

Good Evening all!!
Karen--Cute pic!! We saw the Wiggles and they put on a good show..It was outrageously priced when U put in the Service fees for Ticket Master!!!Anthony was sick and wasnt even there soo I thought it sounded differently...THey are comming here is August also but we will be on vacation...
The sale was crazy..OMG..women lined up since 5am..I got there 20 minutes after it started and there was nothing left hanging on the racks...They had piles of clothes and were guarding them like animals..I was able to find 4 dresses priced $48.99 each for $9.99...by digging in the piles on the floor left behind...WHat the women did, was grabbed piles then had someone watching them and then they sorted through them later and just left the ones not wanted on the floor.. I left after 30 minutes because it was nuts...
I then went to the Mall shopping and found 4 outfits for me(capris and shirts) for under $70..THe capris were $42 each but were 1/2 off then with an additional 15% off...I found my new niece to be anytime soon, 6 Ralph Lauren outfits reg priced $42.50 for $7.00 each..I bought Kaylee her CHristmas dress that was a Ralph Lauren for $62 for $5.63.. I had more fun at the clearance racks!!!!
Lauren-the weekend sounded miserable..It has rained here every day..It is dreary and crazy..but 95 degrees!!
Jackie--Sorry about your mom..Just so she is getting the best care possible, it doesnt matter where..I hope things improve....
Take care all!!!

Hi All,
RR, wow, sounds nuts, but there's nothing like a good deal at the clearance rack!
I'm having a rotten Monday soo far. DH is mad at me. He was slamming things around this getting ready. When I finally asked him what was wrong, he started yelling about the sh*thole we live in and how he's had to do everything around here, even though he's sick as a dog! I just kept my mouth shut. I felt like saying, HELLO?!?! I'm pregnant, I'm tired, I don't feel good either. Just because you have body aches and feel like you're getting a cold, doesn't mean I am not feeling crappy either. He forgets how tired I am during the 1st trimester. He looks at me like I'm on crack when I tell him the can of tuna he's eating is making me sick. So I've decided I'm taking tomorrow off, if I can, and staying home to clean. I even asked my mom if she could take off and come help me. I feel soo crappy...my clothes don't fit, I don't have enough appropriate clothes for work, I have one pair of sandals for the summer, and I feel completely helpless. And the pg hormones aren't helping, I'm crying over everything.
OK, vent for the day over...

Karen, he is a cutie pie and I love that smile.
Sorry to those that got rained on. The weather in the D was gorgeous both days as well as today.
The crew and I caught the new Harry Potter movie on Saturday and went bike riding on Sunday. I love weekends like the one I just had. Relaxing, fun and sunny.

hello everyone!
RR, LBH & Jack - thanks for the compliments on the pic!
We had very nice weather here over the weekend so maybe we are getting out of the rain stage. The week before was crazy.
Karen - cute pic! He looks like he loves that trike.
Lauren - bummer about the weather for the party. Sorry you're having such a crummy day - hope things look brighter soon. One of my sister's is going through that tired stage now too. I don't think I mentioned it yet but my other sister is pregnant also. This one is due in January.
Jackie - I will definitely keep your family in thoughts and prayers.
RR - what a crazy shopping trip. Think I'd have to head out of that madhouse.
gotta run - trying to get laundry done - Rabbit

Good evening all..........................................
Just thought I would update you all on my Mom. She was moved to a nursing home today. Things are not looking good. She now has pneumonia, and her kidneys are only working 30%. We are waiting to see what will happen. I will keep you all posted! Thanks again for all your prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.
Lauren: So sorry you had a bad morning. I am there with you, matter of fact, it feels like I have that conversation many many times at our house. It does seem like when men get sick, the whole world stops! I guess that's why God made us the way we are! We have no time to get sick, or the world would stop!
Rabbit, RR, & Karen & Tiki: Hello..........................................

Jackie---First of all, I am sorry about your mom..I will keep her in my prayers that she will be comfortable..That is a very hard situation to be in..I will pray for U and your family also...
I had to post this silly pic of my mischevious little girl..I took sequential shots tonight of her unrolling the toilet paper..SHe just grinned and never knew I was witnessing the ordeal!!!Ok..giggling also!!
Lauren--Men are just different..I had a mom friday, with a very congenitally handicapped daughter(8) and 5 other kids at home(11, 5, 3, and 2-15month olds)HEr husband called her while I was in the room and told her he would not be home until late that night because he needed time away from the family..She started crying and said "what about me..when Do I get time for me?"He answered her 'I watch the kids every Sat while U grocery shop!!"SHe was soo upset I just let her cry and vent..THey dont understand..we take our children to bed with us mentally so we are never resting from the stress(speaking of being a mom to a handicapped child myself)..I have been extrememly stressed almost to the point of just walking out with my baby and leaving this crap...I would be very happy with just my baby...The other packages here in my life are the toughest..Take care..take it easy on yourself...
Hello all others!!!
Gotta run put the "Destroyer" to bed!!!!

Hi guys,
This being here by myself SUCKS big 'ol doodies. I love my baby but, man, would I like to be able to take a bath BEFORE 10 at night. Last night I got him to bed finally, ran a bath, sat down in the delicious water and what do I hear? WAAAAHHHHH. I went in settled him down and took a quick bath. He was up every hr/half hr. I don't know what was wrong with him. Tonight I started earlier trying to get him down. Still didn't go down until 9. I'm waiting 1/2 hr before I try the bath. I hate washing my hair this late at night. OK. Nuff complaining.
Jack: I'll keep you, your mom and your family in my prayers. How's the house coming along? What paint color did you pick?
Lauren: Just puke on his shoes. Hopefully while he's wearing them. When I was working I went unless I was 1/2 dead. Used to DH would get a sniffle and he stayed home. He's better now but MAN, does he complain. He had to stay home a couple weeks ago because he "needed the rest". I thought about asking him if he would stay home the next time I get sick so I can stay in bed and rest while he cares for DS.
RR: Awe!! She's such a cutie. I'm amazed that she keeps her glasses on. I can't get DS to keep a hat or his sunglasses on. The sunglasses have a strap even and he pulls them right off.
Herb: Thanks.
Tiki: Thanks. Did you like Harry Potter? There was some stuff they left out that really bothered me. It would have taken 2 min of dialog. DH says that maybe it will be in a director's edition of the DVD. Hope so!!
OK, off to hit the showers.

Hi All,
Well, I'm feeling better today. Went shopping at lunch, to Walmart, and got 3 dresses, 3 prs. capris, 2 prs. shoes for me and 2 one-pc. outfits and 2 prs. shorts and water shoes for Peter, plus diapers & wipes for daycare, and some cheese and crackers for work for 134...I was happy. Now i have some clothes to get me through the summer. Still need black sandals though, and some tops.
When I got home, DH was putting the bathroom ceiling back together...he had part of it cut out because the wiring for the vent/heat/light that's in there wasn't working. I made dinner...OK, warmed up leftover, but also prepared tonight's dinner. After dinner, after Peter's bath, I went in the BR to watch my soaps, and sort through some junk. DH cleaned the whole bathroom!! Not just cleaned up his sheetrock mess, really cleaned the whole thing...except the shower. But that's OK, at least it's clean. He even put down the clean rug! I was amazed. I thanked him.
This AM he was cleaning the litter box out when I got up...and not being happy about it. I feel like reminding him I'm not supposed to be doing it!! Of course, last PG it only lasted barely through the first trimester. I promised him I would try and get a little done each night though...hopefully that will keep him happy.
Karen, I got the pics yesterday, THANKS! They're great! Did you guys put the captions on them, or did the get developed that way? I've never seen that. Hope you got your bath in!
RR, Cute pic! I really need to post a new pic of Peter. Peter unravels the TP every chance he gets! I've started taking it off and putting it in the cabinet when he's in the bathroom! I'm sorry for what that poor mom has to deal with. I hope she has some other family/friends support in her life.
Jackie, I'm still praying for your mom.
Rabbit, I forgot your sis is pg! So now you have 2 pg sis'? When is the other one due?
Hi Tiki... Have a great day all!

Hi guys,
I just did the yard work with DS in tow. That was not fun. I put him in his backpack for weedeating. I figured he was safer behind me. I put him in the pack'nplay for mowing. He was fine for the front yard but he screamed for the whole backyard. I don't think we will do that again. He's napping now and I was the one doing all the work!!
Lauren: Glad DH isn't mad anymore. But don't both of you work? Why do you have to do all the housework? And be preggers? And take care of Peter? If I was working Mr.K would be in some deep doo if he didn't help. He's in deep right now since he didn't do the yard before he left me here alone for two weeks. I'm going to be easy on him tho since it did rain EVERY night last week.
Hope ya'll are having a great day!!

Hi Ladies,
Sorry I've been away for so long. We had a sick spell in my house for about 2 weeks and then we went on vacation to the states, for almost 3 weeks. We had a great time in Michigan, although it did rain almost every day we were there. I spoke to my FIL today and he said its been beautiful since we left. We've had a nice couple of days here too. Almost to the 90's today, took the kids to the pool and couldn't get them out of the water. My husband is gone for the rest of the week, but that's nothing I can't handle, especially after his 10 months in Iraq!!
Jack- You and your family are in my prayers!
Karen- I, too, have such a hard time getting the yard work done with the little ones around. I'm always scared a stray rock is going to hit them or somthing. I try to wait until their both napping, but that rarely happens. And when it does its usually around quiet hours, which is from 1-3pm. I sometimes have no luck.
Lauren - only when I was pregnant would my DH clean the litter box. I had to show him my books that said pregnant women should not clean litter boxes for him to believe me. Men just don't understand how exhausting you feel during the first trimester and probably never will.
I hope everyone else is doing well!!
