Default Non-Scale Victories

This thread was buried and getting long, so here's our new one. And I've got a LIST:
1. I love shopping now, because I can find something in nearly every store I go into!
2. I am finally going to the university's gym with the "skinny people" - I have conquered that fear!
3. I am a size 14!
4. A few cute and sexy bras exist that I can fit into!
5. My cousin and I are starting to look similar/related again, according to our moms, and she's absolutely adorable, so that sounds like a compliment to me!
6. I indulged wisely last night at a nice dinner.

This morning I had to steal one of my boyfriend's belts because my pants are starting to fall off. (No, I'm not losing that fast but enough for them to slide down my hips a little too far, it still made my day.)

The khakis I bought a couple of months ago are way too loose - but they sit really nicely below my waistline and make my tummy look really flat... hmmm... I could get used to that!

When we first got to the states and went shopping for some new shorts I was able to fit into size 10!! Woo-hoo!!! So, I bought 3 pairs of size 10 but towards the end of vacation they were fitting kind of tight. Oh-well, I still fit in them!! Haven't seen size 10 in years!!!

It's been a while since I've had one of these... Today I went out to lunch with some co-workers at a pizza buffet (cue damsel in distress music) But holy cow I was sooo good!!! I only had two pieces of hawaiian and 1 slice of dessert pizza! I listened to my body when it was full!

My blood sugar has been under the best control the past 4 days AND what's even better is, I haven't binged, been tempted, or craved anything. I'm so proud of myself!! I had to tell someone!! Thanks for listening

I've recovered after the longest stretch of off-plannedness since joining 3FC and really dedicating myself to this - I picked up the pieces and am forging on, a few pounds heavier, but determined to continue downward.

Here are a few for my list...
>in some recent group pictures, I looked like just another person, not the really huge person trying to hide in the back.

>I know that these pants must be sized crazily or something, but I have some nylon pants from Walmart...I bought the 16/18's and the first time I wore them out, I was told they were way too big. I kept them, because they were cheap and comfy, but I went back yesterday and bought the 12/14 Petite's and they actually fit.

>At my class reunion, I wore a dress that was a smaller size than I had ever worn in high school. A misses 16, and it looked darn cute too.

>I did a mile in 13:30 on the treadmill earlier this week.

Hey, what a great thread. Okay:

1) When people tell me I have a cute face, I can actually begin to believe them now.
2) I no longer feel an inexplicable sense of humiliation when I walk down the street.
3) I actually can ENJOY shopping!
4) I can smile without fear, my double chin has hit the road ^_^
5) I'm not at war with myself anymore.
6) I didn't NEED a miracle, I did it myself--which means I'm capable of things I once thought miraculous ^_^

Just a couple little points that I'm sure a lot of people share with me ^_^
