Default condiments..

Question.. Is mustard okay in Phase 1??? Or at all..

And if now, what is okay, I'm used to having sauces and stuff with my meat, specially on chicken..

I use it all the time!! as far as sauces go for chicken I got a spice called "one step chicken seasoning garlic herb" its made by McCormack I believe. I also like a chicken breast topped with light zesty italian dressing. I also make sauteed mushrooms, I sautee them in I can't believe its not butter spray. yummmyyyy!!
Hope that helps

Along the same line, are things like olives, olive tapenade, and pickles allowed....the ones with no sugar of course?

Mustard is great - except for honey mustard of course. Olives are a great source of "good" fat. Pickles are fine - just not sweet pickles like gerkins (spelling?) As far a tapenade - just check the ingredients.

Another great one is bruschetta spread - diced tomatoes, onions, olive oil and other seasonings - very tasty (again check the label). I put it on salads and love to toss in diced chicken or even bake it right on top. It's also fabulous with some cooked and chopped zucchin i

Hot sauce and steak sauce I believe are ok, as are most spices!! Lemon Pepper on chicken [low sodium kind] is fantastic! Mustard is good too. I LOVE it!

Alot of steak sauces and BBQ sauces are loaded with sugar, so check the labels. Same goes for cocktail sauce.

I use that new Carb Options Barbeque sauce. It is sweetened with Splenda instead of regular sugar. It tastes really good. I was so happy to find a BBQ sauce that I could use because when BBQ season started I was not sure what I was going to do. It is just not the same without the sauce.
